Oh yeah, I have another AU and just like the Harlequin AU, it's a huge one

For the uninitiated, Origins AU is a slice of life + action adventure comedy centered around the Glamrock cast, as they try to get by starting their own band and maybe, kicking ass. No, Security Breach & Ruin isn't canon to this AU, its it's own world (though SB characters can show up as a minor cast).

I'm pretty sure the reason this au started was because I saw the baby Monty decal from Gator golf and thought, "Why is Monty the only one with this? The others should also have their origins too" (hence the name)

These are all SUPER old art btw, from all the way back to 2022

One thing led to another, and with the joint effort with my bf @nobody-nexus, Origins AU began with baby decal concepts, to fleshed out world(s), backstories and lore.

Lots, and LOTS of em. But for the sake of not boring anyone with details, I'll summarize.

Freddy is an Alien space bear Supersoldier called an "Ursin'ul" (play on words on "ursine" and "arsenal") crash landing on earth, refusing to participate in propaganda and colonizing other planets once he found out the truth about his kind

Chica is a rebellious yet naive meravian Princess who learns forbidden knowledge to be able to walk on land and explore the world beyond the sea, as long as she keeps hydrating

Roxy is the bad girl small-time rockstar that's closed off to most people due to her upbringing, and transforms into a werewolf when full moon hits

Monty is a 9-foot tall irradiated alligator being pursued by the government after he broke out, whom wants to study him in order to create potential bio-weaponized supersoldiers

And Bonnie is... Roxy's roommate getting caught in the crossfire. A normal guy with a lot of uncles (almost ALL Bonnies from the entire franchise are related to him), and owns a bowling alley. That's it lmao, he doesn't have a secret or a superpower like everyone, he's just the average menkisser

They're always pursued by The Rockstars in this AU, all with personal motives behind their actions: Francois being forced to find and retrieve Freddy by Levi's (Lefty) orders, Clarabelle wants revenge for her eye from Roxy, Felix is down horrendous for Chica and wants to marry her against her will, and Brian is tasked with retrieving Monty.

Other variants in the franchise have their own thing too lmao, HW dlc being weird country guys, Toys being a Mafia group/Toymakers with an ongoing feud with the Funtimes, Withereds/Classics being veterans in the ent. industry, and Fury's Rage enemies aren't enemies, but Monty's friends from his time in confinement. There's Nightmares too, but they aren't a thing until the end.

I've made lots of shitposts, artworks and designs alongside Nexus for this au, and one day, I wanna come back to it and work on tweaking stuff as well as story beats. For now, I got a lot of things I have to work on first and this serves as an archive for the au's ideas.

Patience by Why_is_my_nose_a_carrot: I think probably the fic that got me into obikin specifically. AU where Qui-Gon is Anakin's master, but Obi-Wan stays his best friend. Very slowburn, but my god. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's relationship, the way they write Obi and Ani as friends, UGH! Apparently the author got a lot of flack for this fic for some reason so if you do read it give them love, or at the very least don't harrass them jfc.

Something Blue by @darthwillies : Really love this fic and its concept. Obi-Wan marries uncrispy Vader in order to secure galaxy wide peace, now we witness their domestic "bliss". I think this fic is probably my favorite depiction of Vaderkin, someone who is still desperate to be forgiven, but only by the ones who matter. Desperate enough for love to keep it prisoner but still resentful of the reminder. And poor Obi-Wan, proud but insecure. The dynamic is very intriguing to me.

Amarilli by @darthwillies : Since I'm already talking about Graciously's work, I have to recommend this one as well. Obi-Wan realizes he has feelings for Anakin, panics, confesses, panics again. It's great. I love this fic not only because it's so beautifully written, but because the entire time I was reading it I just kept thinking how real it was. Everyone's reaction to The Feelings, the confession conversation, the aftermath conversation. All of it is so in character and believable. The end is great, and it left me wanting more.

Conceal Me What I Am by @himboskywalker : Cat's out of the bag, I LOVE arranged marriage AUs. And this one is so good. Senator Obi-Wan marries Jedi Anakin in order to help the Jedi/Republic's image during the war. But Anakin's an Omega posing as an Alpha! And Obi-Wan's an Alpha posing as a Beta! What will they do??? Fall in love about it obviously. The slow-burn and build-up is so good, I had to read it all in one sitting because I was desperate for them to finally be together.

An Unlikely Duo by @grapenehifics : Modern setting where total opposites Anakin and Obi-Wan fall in love with each other. Super sappy sweet fic that explores their relationship as it grows. There're so many little details in this fic that I just adore, and everytime I re-read they make me go awwwwww all over again. It also inspired me to make Ani and Obi in Animal Crossing.

Across the Stars by @unfortunate17 : Yes, I love this fic. Yes, it makes me bite my nails worrying about their future. Anakin is a time traveler who always travels to Obi-Wan. It's so sweet and the concept is so interesting. Without spoiling, the way the story unfolds is super interesting narratively speaking and is fleshed out enough to give you some ideas about why the traveling happens. Idk man just read it you won't be disappointed.

be careful not to choke on your admirations by @tennessoui : Thank you to this fic for making me google Who Is Korkie Star Wars. (I'm trying to finish TCW don't RUSH me Katie) Anakin babysits for hot dilf divorcee Obi-Wan, who he is desperately in love with. Honestly I love all of tennessoui's work so you should read all of them, but this fic is my go to. I love the flow of their conversations, the way that Obi-Wan is so obviously crazy about Anakin and Anakin is of course oblivious. Your honor, they're a little family. I love them.

Heartbeat Drives You Mad by @renlyslittlerose : Everything about this fic is entirely excellent. Depressed alcoholic Obi-Wan falls in love with his hot young neighbor in the 80's. What more could you want. Come for Anakin in short-shorts and stay for Obi-Wan's complex journey to healing. I really love the translation of Anakin's character in this fic, and the way that Obi-Wan describes him. 10/10 read it now.

the root of peony by @tideswept : Anakin and Obi-Wan served in the Napoleonic Wars, now they deal with the aftermath. I love doctor Obi-Wan and I LOVE their relationship in this fic. This fic is simultaneously very cozy, angsty, and sweet. I love the way that their relationship develops, and I love the world building.

are you mine tomorrow by @jedibongrip : I just read this fic again and I forgot how sweet it was. Obi-Wan finds Anakin on Tatooine during the war, and marries him in a green-card marriage so that Anakin can stay on Coruscant. Even though this is an Obi-Wan centric fic, I love how you can constantly feel Anakin's presence and his love throughout the fic. Obi-Wan is so silly, your husband loves you, idiot.

Lux Æterna by @obiwanobi : Hey do you want to be sad? Read this. It's a surprise :) Beautiful. I can't believe you've done this.

Obi-Two by @virahaus : I love this concept and I love the way it's written. Post-Prequel Obi-Wan is sent to the council meeting where Anakin is denied the rank of master. I love a sassy huffy Obi-Wan and this fic has TWO sassy Obi-Wans. I also love the idea of Obi-Wan becoming significantly less Jedi as time goes on, and I love how this fic depicts that.

the latest fic series that made me bawl at 2 AM in the morning ... but also has one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking writing that i've ever encountered. every emotion was framed beautifully to the point that you don't even have to experience what happened to reader just to relate, you just can, and it's an example of such wonderful language use that results in drawing out both the emotions of the characters and readers (also scared the shit out of me when you followed back .. UHM! HI)

2. @ssweeterthanfiction - "orbit (series)" ; whole masterlist

ORBIT IS ONE OF MY PERSONAL FAVES EVER! one of my favorite tropes is the estranged childhood best friends and oh my goddd, they delivered! it's so cute (admittedly, i have yet to read chapter 5 because i saw "angst" in all caps and i got scared so now i've been putting it off HAHAHA) also, also, on one of the many authors in the finnick tag whose masterlist i binge-read because their au's are so good.

3. @humaling - "two victors, one closet (discontinued for now)" ; "mother's day special" ; whole masterlist

oh god, where do i even start? angst-wise, humaling is my best bet when it comes to that. she's really amazing with words and one of my inspos in coming back to writing. love her use of figurative language, similar to how i liked joluvsfinnick's. "two victors, one closet" is just seared into my brain because it was the first fic i read from her, and "mother's day special" is so cute because finnick would be such a cute manliligaw. and also another author whose masterlist i binged.

4. @ivymirrorball768 - "hey, little songbird"

I JUST FOUND OUT THE AUTHOR OF MY FAVORITE FINNICK FIC IN AO3 IS HERE ... i don't know if this tag is still alive, but i'm gonnna ramble either way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i love the fic sm enough to talk about it again. every character and the arena is so fleshed out to the point that you can actually tell me that this was in the books and i'd believe you. i'm a sucker for slowburn, so i'm invested in this fic fr fr. ADDITIONALLY, "hadestown" references ... as a musical nerd that spoke to me it called my name like a siren REAL

5. @ellecdc - "allies and torment" ; "blood rain" ; "still? always." ; whole finnick masterlist

girl atp i'm out of words because all i'm going to say is she's another amazing writer. i also read her other fics besides the finnick ones, and they're really good. part of the reason why i like her writing so much is that the flow is really smooth and natural, and an example is "allies and torment" because as a shy person - how'd you take my mind and describe it exactly the way i would react? "blood rain" is also really good dialogue work because you can hear them as in-character conversations that could actually happen. "still? always" need i say more? a wonderful take on the hijacked!reader prompt.

Media Demon AU

Fleshing out the handover of 'power' of the porn industry and reminding people that Vizziepop created a fandom representative for the more mentally cracked of us. As well as making a vampire/werewolf movie franchise infinitely worse because why not?

Alastor wondered for the millionth time what he was reading, the script in his hands was awful, well and truly awful.

It was spelled correctly, formatted perfectly the paper had no suspicious marks or smells and it had made it's way past the editing troupe to end up on his desk. And while he was sure someone would appreciate this level of filth that someone was not him. Alastor removed his monocle and sighed feeling every one of his additional time displaced 100+ years.

Alastor allowed himself to complain aloud, "I very much don't want to be in charge of porn, I actually hate this, can literally anyone else take it off my hands?"

Alastor startled as Angel Dust spoke from the couch "I've got six, I can take that and more. Gimme."

Alastor had forgetton Angel Dust was in the room with his own stack of paperwork, the spider had recently managed to kick the narcotics habit Valentino had tried to force on him and had only recently stopped trying desperately trying to be of use to Alastor in a repayment attempt.

The therapy programme Alastor has kickstarted really was proving it's worth.

More importantly Alastor saw a out, Angel Dust could handle the porn industry and Alastor could focus on the less disgustingly vile overlord aspects. Like good theatre, radio shows and the occasional bloody murder.

"Very well your first task is..." Alastor cast about for a adequate test of Angel Dust's management skills, his gaze landed on the very script that had sent him into despair. "This.. Your task is turning this piece of fiction written for the Valentines Day Writing contest into something film worthy"

Angel Dust oh'ed happily as he started to flip through the script squinting at it sideways with confusion and slight admiration, "This the winner of that film script contest? Winner gets their script made into a movie?"

Alastor winced, faking a laugh, "The Young Miss sure has some... talent.. in spinning a yarn!"

Angel Dust reached the page Alastor had been on and whistled, "Spicy too, you leave it to me Smiles! I'll have Miss Emberlynn's work in cinema faster than you can say" Angel Dust carefully read the title of the script, letting lose a slight giggle that followed Alastor as he exited the room "The Erotic Sunset Adventures of the Imp, the Werewolves and the Vampire coven!"

Yes, it's explicit Twilight Fanfiction spin with a Blitzo cameo written by Emberlynn Pinkle from Helluva Boss, I went there, it's funny okay!

I LOVE EMBERLYNN SO MUCH VGRFCDRV I'm not sure when she dies and if she'd even fit with the timeline but I don't CARE, it would be SO funny for her, specifically, to be the reason why Alastor just. Quits. Hands it over to Angel and wipes his hands of the mess. He's too old to be dealing with this shit okay.

Alastor would fully lose his goddamned mind if he had to face her in person, it's a good call to hand that over to Angel. And boy, Angel is going to have FUN with her absolutely depraved writing. He's going to prove himself pretty great as the head of the porn industry in Alastor's stead.

Okay, I never post on Tumblr but I just got hit with such a violent hyperfixation that I forcibly had to put into words so, this is long one.

Life Series SMP as the Magnus Archives

So I had an idea for a Life Series AU where all the players are an avatar of one of the fears from tma. Warning that I haven't seen all Cc's povs so I'm mainly going off of vibes and moments I remember. I also tried to have at least 1 member in each fear.

Bdubs - The Dark

This is for obvious reasons with his association with sleeping and clocks. My hc is that, cause he can't sleep the night away, he kind of became an avatar of the dark. I like the idea of him just kind of hiding in shadowy corners, the only way to know he's there is by the sound of the clock letting you know that it's night now and you should not be out at this time.

BigB - The Spiral

This is mainly based on the whole thing with secret life and the weird corridors he had. I like the idea of that every time you look at him, you're not sure what emotion he is feeling. Is he happy? Annoyed? Angry? Who's to say. And where does that corridor lead anyway? Oh, wait, he says there are no corridors, but you just saw one didn't you? Oh, it's gone now, where did it go? Where did it's contents go?

Cleo - The Flesh

This was an obvious one. As much as I think she could also fit into other categories like the desolation, it's too hard to ignore the obvious aesthetical choice of making them a Flesh avatar. I mean, come on. I think as a fully realised avatar, she would have too many limbs. There are at least 7 leg warmers and sweatbands, not all on legs or arms. She had to work hard at jazzercise to get legs like that. And I mean it, the original owner was still using them.

Etho - The Stranger

This was a tough one, but I kind of like where I ended up. In almost every season, he has had more than one alliance, usually a main team and a back up one. Especially in Wild Life, where he was teamed with pretty much everyone. I think he, as a full stranger avatar, is always your friend, but also always your enemy but he's also the enemy of your enemy so he's your friend? At this point you're not sure how loyal he is to you or anyone for that matter. I also think that everyone has seen under the mask, but it's all different things. "I saw Etho's face, he had a huge mustache" "What? No, he doesn't have a mouth" "I saw that he had 2 mouths under there" "I saw every possible outcome of every universe happening simultaneously and in all of them, humanity perishes" "this is why we don't talk to you."

Gem - The Corruption

So this is mainly to do with the whole zombie thing in Secret Life. I was toying with the idea of Bdubs being the Corruption as well due to the Boogieman kills. I'm still not entirely sure of my decision. I want the Corruption ideas to lean into how people draw Gem as some form of woodland creature or druid. I like the idea of the Corruption being like plant life/small bugs. As a full avatar, she would look like how she is commonly drawn, but it's not entirely clear if that's skin, fur or bark. There's bugs in it regardless. Are her eyes glowing? Is it the fireflies around her or is it actually coming from her eyes? I think she'd appear almost like the Creaking, where you turn away and suddenly greenery and bugs start swarming from the ground, consuming you.

Grian - The Eye

I'm really in-between fears for this. As much as the Watcher symbolism works well for the Eye, I wasn't sure if I wanted both him and Martyn to be avatars of the Eye. I eventually decided, given he sets up the games and runs them, Knowing slightly more info than other participants, it does really tend towards the Beholding. I like the idea of an unwilling avatar like Jon is, but his abilities grow more and more over the seasons before it gets to Wild Life where someone is like "I wonder what the wildcard is today" and Grian is just suddenly flashbanged with the image of:

Impulse - The End

I haven't really watched Impulse POVs so I wasn't really sure what to do. I have a vague memory of him always doing quite well and getting in the last few a lot. I also know that previous teams have banked on Impulse being the member that could actually win. Regardless, he always dies just before he can win. I think he's a new, unwilling avatar, not fully coming to terms with his new identity, he always gets so close, only for death to sweep him away and he is forced to try again. I think that he, as an avatar, would be themed around wasting time, the concept that everything ends in death so the time spent before is pointless and wasted, this especially applies after his death in limited life.

Jimmy - The End

I mean, come on. The Canary Curse? Need I say more? I will add though that I think he's slowly becoming a fully realised avatar, hence why, in recent seasons he's not been out first, able to harness and manipulate his curse. Jimmy's always the first out, so we're all safe until he goes.... Right?

Joel - The Desolation

So this is about the whole "the ship burns, everything burns". I feel like, near the end of every series, he slowly gets more and more angry and violent. He usually starts acting almost desperate, think of his desperation in Last Life with his faulty traps. He is angry, volatile, and will do anything to burn everything you cherish to the ground. If the ship burns, everything burns.

Lizzie - The Buried

I've never really watched Lizzie's POV and I also didn't have anyone for the Buried. I couldn't think of anyone else that would work, so this is based on how, whenever she dies, someone seems to try and sell her bones to Joel. It's a weirdly common thing. I was gonna do the vast cause of her ending in Secret Life, but she did go down, not up, so I prefer the idea that she got stuck underground. It may look like the night sky, but it's the lack of air slowly choking her, unable to claw her way out, suffocating in silence deep under the ground.

Martyn - The Hunt

So I was also gonna put Martyn with the Eye because of the whole Watcher/Listener thing, but I think the Hunt fits better. I like the arc of his transformation over the course of the Life Series. In 3rd Life, he's essentially a soldier for the Red Army. Then, after realising the bloodlust and red haze, he becomes a relatively peaceful Southlander. But eventually, he kills his soulmate, unable to contain the need to kill and hunt. It reaches its peak in limited life where he just snaps, kind of like Daisy at the end of season 4. He then spent Secret Life as a dog before going back to his Red King as his hand in Wild Life. Ren may be an actual dog, but Martyn is his bloodhound.

Mumbo - The Web

Okay, hear me out: Mumbo as a very new avatar of the web who, due to the machinations of mother spider, is not aware of his avatar status, the avatar status of his pears, nor the existence of the fears at all. Think about it, every time Mumbo has gone out of the series, it has been his own fault. He attacks Grian unprepared, completely forgetting the ramifications of his actions. Gets stuck on a fence he placed then killed by a Warden. Gets stuck in his own spider's web of tnt minecart tracks. He also never goes for kills with basic PvP, it's always some elaborate scheme; making end crystals from a ghast farm, making a complex system of tracks for launching tnt, digging out a pit under a base and waiting for sooooooo long for someone to conveniently walk over the hole (also the web fucked that up for him with the fireworks in the background). I also really like the idea of the webs being like lines of redstone. I cannot draw, but can fully imagine the fanart in my head.

Pearl - The Hunt/Lonely

So Pearl is a double avatar. I couldn't decide between them. I hc her as the concept of looking out on the moors to see the silhouette of a lone hunter, on a horse with only the company of her hunting dogs. I think she embodies the solitude and the quiet of hunting by yourself. The only company she has is snarling hunting dogs, there to help stalk and tear at her prey. The only issue is, this hunter isn't looking for game.

Ren - The Slaughter

Ren does also fit with the hunt, but given his whole King persona, he lends more to the idea of a war waged by leaders in distant lands with a large toll amounting of nameless soldiers fighting for ideals their King tells them to believe in. I think his whole Red King character is pretty much a Slaughter avatar as is, so not much needs to change. I'm not entirely sure how I mix this with other seasons, but I do believe that Ren's most iconic character is the Red King, so fight me I guess. Red Winter is coming.

Scar - The Lonely

So Scar always focused on his connection (or lack there of) with Grian. He died, leaving his partner alone. Then he lived in recluse on a mountain, unable to bring back what he had. Even when forced to partner up, he is still alone. It takes him till Secret Life to finally embrace his avatar identity of being alone. Rumour has it that, on the Secret Life world, you can hear faint humming. No idea where the source is though, it's hard to find anything in the vast sunflower field.

Scott - The Vast

Scott was also hard to place, but I can't fight his whole spacey vibe. I also like the idea that, by refusing to succumb to the Boogieman curse, he defied the Watchers, these enormous, all powerful deities. I like the imagery of Scott, an ant in the face of these gods, being the bigger man.

Skizz - The Lonely

So Skizz is normally one of the first out in his team. He's also prone to sacrificing himself for the sake of the team. I think that is a lonely existence. I believe that Skizz, after giving his life to allow his team to move on, is forced to sit and watch. Unable to talk to his former teammates and stuck in isolation watching them go on without him.

Tango - The Desolation

Tbf, I think the way people draw Tango as a blaze has skewed my perception a bit. But I do believe the volatile anger he has works well with the idea of the desolation. As well as that, he has also had everything he loves destroyed. His ranch, his trust, etc. he's experienced so much desolation, he has simply become the burning fire of grief that laps at his feet.

I wanna start by saying i really really love all your works and your aus and your doing a great job with everything but theres something that i cannot stop thinking about it and i want to know your perspective because im sure you had a good reason

but dont you think that making sillynette fat and making her even weirder and more obsessive adds to the stereotype of fat girls are creepy and unlovable? i love sillynette and im sure thats not what you mean but ijust cant stop thinking about it please dont take it the wrong way i love your works hope you have a good day

I mean, that's not my intention? She plays much more off the Yandere trope, and the most famous examples of those are all skinny. This is mostly because in fiction size 0 is the default, I know, but still.

Silly isn't ever meant to be portrayed as unlovable either. That's why I put so much effort into making her so cute! Her biggest vices don't fall into "creepy fat pervert" territory for me since they're 1. entitlement (this extends not just to Adrien but to her status as Ladybug) and 2. a propensity for violence.

Not only that but her obsession is very clearly something she has been groomed into by Tikki as well as being a victim of predatory marketing. I feel like the argument would hold more water if her behavior just came out of nowhere, but it very clearly does not. She is a child whose insecurities have been used against her for the sake of exploitation, and is trying to regain herself through false ideas set in front of her by patriarchy. There's a cogent throughline for her actions, exaggerated as it may be, rather than it being a stereotype set to demean her.

I've looked back on old art, and it was only around maybe March of last year that I decided to make her chubbier. Still, I feel like it'd be a disservice to revert her back to being skinny. I know I should probably be more varied when it comes to my depictions of non-Silly Marinettes—I do think her not being super skinny is cool and suits her character well, but for some treason I've gotten it in my head that if I'm portraying "canon" Marinette or even a Marinette adjacent to La Terreur that I have to default back to making her skinny for recognizability's sake. It's stupid and me clearly getting in my own head and I'll get over it.

I'm not going to discount people who have problems with her character regardless. People can find issue with her just as they can find issue with Claudia and my versions of Adrien and Luka and Chloe and so on and so forth. I just think the only two options to "fix" this would be to A. remove the parasocial obsession (which thus undercuts the point of her character and the statements I am trying to make using her) or B. make her skinny again (meaning one less diverse depiction of her), and I really don't want to do either of those. So far, what I've tried to do is remove emphasis on as many aspects as I can that would lead into the stereotype (there's a reason a lot of her behavior is... well, I guess the wording would be "relatively wholesome"?), fleshing out her character as a victim of circumstance, and trying to emphasize other things as her flaws.

I don't think a character accidentally fulfilling a single stereotype is a death knell, the issue is instead when they are one-dimensionally that stereotype and/or a collection of multiple harmful stereotypes. Such is why I think it would be entirely inappropriate for Silly to additionally be a slob and/or a glutton, two big things she is very much not. I'd argue those are in fact much worse and more prevalent stereotypes to lean into, honestly.

Hopefully this clears some things up? I think Sillynette is a very fun character, and I know I and many other people love her dearly, and maybe explaining things will make you feel a little less bad about liking her, since you seem a little anxious in that ask there lol. If I made her like this because I wanted to make her unlovable, I would not go through the effort to depict her as adorable and fashionable as I do and all I'd probably use her for would be, like.. salt comics where she harasses people, or something? outsiders au inspired by Anastasia??? im listening

this was going to be posted sooner (and written better) but tumblr decided to delete the draft after i spent 30 minutes working on it so i got pissed and left it sitting in my drafts cause i didn’t want to rewrite it but it’s here now!1!1!

OKAY SO i've recently been going back and relistening to musicals that i love and just haven't listened to in full in a while and so i was listening to anastasia and something clicked in my brain and went "hey, you could make this outsiders related" so now here we are. this isn't a fully fleshed out concept so there are some places where im like 'well it could multiple options for what happens' but i'm gonna do my best to explain so please enjoy

okay so the idea is canon happens and stays the same up until the fire at the church. the only departure we're gonna say happen is that windrixville is far enough away that no one either realizes who pony and johnny are or they just don't know about bob's murder.

the fire happens and all three of them are too injured to like be awake and tell the first responders like 'hey we're from tulsa' (and they're also still wanted for murder) so they don't get taken back to tulsa and instead are at a hospital somewhere else.

somehow, something gets screwed up and pony ends up at a different hospital than johnny and dally and no one communicates this or anything so when johnny and dally wake up and are like "where's pony???", it's assumed that he died. like maybe johnny and dally's ambulances left first so they assume that pony must’ve died on the scene at the fire and that’s why he never made it to the hospital.

johnny ends up dying and then, thinking both pony and johnny died, dally dies. and then someone at the hospital has put two and two together and realizes who they are so the news gets back to tulsa (i’m imagining that cherry was at the police station clearing their names when they got the call that all three of them were dead, just for some extra angst)

and so obviously darry and soda get informed and they are devastated. and they ask for pony’s body so they can bury him with their parents and they get told there isn’t one, even though they were told he died after being pulled out of the fire, not in the fire. and so there’s definitely some confusion there. and then after the news reports that all 3 were dead, with pony having died at the scene, one of the teachers that was at the fire comes forward to be like “i don’t know where he is now or what they did to him but that boy did not die at the scene. i watched him get put into an ambulance alive” and this just spurs on so many rumors about pony still being alive. and soda and darry are very convinced and two-bit, steve, ace, marcia, and cherry (marcia and cherry cause marcia gets with two and then cherry comes around blah blah yall already know) are all like really concerned about them because like obviously they want pony to be alive but they really don’t think he is

meanwhile, pony wakes up at his own hospital and he ended up with a head injury somehow in the fire and he has lost all of his memories. and no one at this hospital has figured out who he is so they really can’t do anything. pony starts going by michael because for some reason that name just calls out to him (i wanted him to be named something similar to his own name, like how anastasia becomes anya, cause i feel like it shows that subconsciously they do remember who they are even if they don’t realize, so michael it is) (for those who don’t know, michael is pony’s middle name) and because they don’t know who he is but they can tell he’s underage, after they treat all his injuries and he’s free to leave the hospital, he ends up in foster care in the area of wherever he is.

then a year or two goes by and darry and soda are still insisting that pony is alive and out there somewhere. they’re so sure that they would just be able to tell if he was gone (think like the grandmother from anastasia or joyce from stranger things). and they’ve kinda become a laughing stock of the area because everyone thinks either he is dead or if he is alive, he clearly hasn’t come home yet so he must not want to return and so soda and darry just need to move on and get over it.

then on the anniversary of the whole incident (ie bob’s stabbing, them being on the run, the three boys dying), the news does a special on it and they do an interview with soda and darry, where they ask that if pony is watching or anyone who knows where pony is is watching, that they bring him home. they may not have much but they will make sure whoever brings them their brother back is rewarded (they def have a fund that they put a bit of money into out of every paycheck and now it’s been a while so it’s a definitely a good amount) (the rest of the gang, marcia, and cherry also all put money into it but no where near as much or as often as darry and soda do because they’ve kinda all lost hope that pony will ever come home, even if he is alive)

and then wherever pony is, he has an older foster brother who happens to see the interview on the news. and he sees the picture of pony they show and he’s like ‘oh shit! that kid looks like michael!’ and so he decides he’s going to convince michael that he is the missing ponyboy curtis so that he can get the reward money and get away from their foster parents finally cause they aren’t the best

and so the foster brother goes through all of the news articles and stories he can find about the whole situation and he finds every possible detail he can get about what pony was like. and he goes to michael about it and he tells michael that he truly, truly believes that he is this ponyboy kid. and so he agrees that he’ll help teach pony about his real identity so that he can go home to his brothers.

and so yeah, then basically they go and they realize that michael really is pony and he gets to reunite with darry and soda (and eventually, as he spends time in tulsa and familiar locations, he does get most of his memories back) and it all ends up good in the end (also he stays in touch with the foster brother. like the foster brother did come clean that he originally was doing it because he wanted the money, but then he really did care about getting pony home once he realized he really was ponyboy. and also he declined the reward when darry and soda tried giving it to him. and pony forgave him for trying to trick him at first because he realizes that while he was doing it to get away from their foster parents for himself, his plan did also get pony away from them before he was able to get away by putting him with the curtises) and yeah

so that’s my outsiders anastasia au. i don’t know if i will ever write about this again or not but maybe i will if people want it so idk let me know i guess lmao

I am LOVING your AU! I was just wondering... Do you plan on having Valerie show up more often in your season 3 rewrite? Because I just rewatched season 3 (while shredding SO much paper, so I wasn't exactly listening to it very much lol) and I realized that Valerie hardly shows up in season 3 at all! And it's another reason for why season 3 is so deeply frustrating! We hardly got to see Vlad and Valerie interact, even though Vlad is Valerie's patron and the entire reason she can ghost hunt in the first place! D-Stablized offers some interesting ideas, but there are too many of them tackled at once and none of them are given the proper time they need to breathe! Nor do they get as much set-up as these ideas deserved! Valerie being a sort of personal bounty hunter for Vlad? Interesting! Valerie meeting Dani and coming to want to protect her? Fantastic! Valerie having the motivation of wanting to protect humans from being harmed by ghosts, even if that means destroying said ghosts, and not just wanting personal, petty revenge? Could be an interesting direction for her character to grow in! Valerie learning Vlad's secret, but not Danny's? FANTASTIC idea, ESPECIALLY if we get to see Vlad and Valerie's relationship develop and grow! Season 3 just doesn't know how to execute it in a genuinely good way... Valerie was done dirty! Almost as dirty as Dani! Obviously not quite as dirty as Dani, but still! Would love to see both of them get the spotlight they deserved >.<

No worries if you don't end up having Valerie very much in your season 3 fix-it though! These ladies just deserve SO much better than what they got! I'm glad that someone's giving Dani the justice she deserves!!!

The answer is yes but also no on the topic of Valerie inclusion! I would LOVE to be able to say I've fleshed out a substantial role for her to play in this rewrite, but in truth it's been like trying to fit a Valerie shaped peg into the cheese melt shaped hole in my brain. However! That's not to say I haven't thought about her at all.

This rewrite has a few entirely original episodes to it, one of which is a Dani + Valerie team up episode. (Vlad brings the girls together to form a team for some sort of underhanded purpose.) Valerie reluctantly agrees to work with "Ellie Phantom" but she obviously can't stand the idea. Dani is her usual chipper self and is trying very hard to get Valerie to like her. They're like a good cop/bad cop dynamic that gets complicated when Danny inevitably gets involved.

Valerie and Dani both will appear in this AU's version of Girl's Night Out, because it's utterly ridiculous that Valerie wasn't in the canon version. Both girls' fathers have been snapped away by Kitty, Spectra, and Ember, (and I might throw Desiree and Dorathea in too so everyone has someone to fight) so they're both eager to help bring all the boys back.

That's all I can confirm about Valerie at this point. I've kicked around some other muddled thoughts about her in this AU, mostly about how to handle the only canon plot beats season 3 gave her, but I've been more preoccupied with Dani, Danny, and Vlad. She'll probably end up with more to do! I just can't say what yet.

Hazbin Hotel Swap AU - Alastor. Husk. Nifty.

Charlie, Vaggie, and Angel

I saw a few different versions of this AU going around and thinking about it made me want to draw my own take on it.

I don't have this fully fleshed out yet but I've been thinking about it for the last few days so here's what I've got so far.

Alastor -> Charlie

He still started out in Hell as the Radio Demon

However, when he disappeared for 7 years, he came back as a seemingly changed man. The first broadcast on his radio show after 7 years of silence was an advertisement for the Radio Demon's new project: The Hazbin Hotel.

Not very many sinners actually managed to hear that advertisement but those that did thought they were hallucinating tbh

I wanna say the reason why he wants to try rehabilitating sinners is mostly because he spent his 7 year hiatus with Lilith, who asked him to do this for her so she could try to convince Charlie (and Lucifer) that they're wrong about sinners. And Alastor decides to do it because Lilith promises that she'll free him from his deal the moment he gets a soul into heaven.

For this AU, I'm gonna say the person who has Alastor on a leash is Eve, and his deal with her is completely unrelated to his 7 year absence.

Because of all that, despite founding the hotel, he doesn't fully believe it's possible to redeem a soul. And it shows sometimes no matter how much he tries to convince the guests otherwise.

Nifty -> Vaggie

When Alastor brought up the hotel and asked for her help, she jumped at the chance and agreed without hesitation.

Alastor is still an overlord and still owns some souls. He owns Nifty's but made it clear to her that he was asking, not ordering, her to help with the hotel.

Before Charlie brings in more staff, she was the one that handled cleaning and pest control and all that other stuff.

She helps him brainstorm ideas for activities. Unfortunately both of them are pretty unhinged so at least 80% of those ideas are unusable

Husk: What the fuck is "Knife Monopoly"?

Alastor and Nifty: :)

She's Alastor's biggest cheerleader and helps him out by enthusiastically participating in any and all hotel activities with a smile

Husk -> Angel Dust

Instead of Alastor, Husk sold his soul to Vox, who became interested in the Gambling Demon after Alastor was seen going in and out of his casino.

Vox ends up using Husk as something like a personal assistant. He runs around all over hell doing anything and everything Vox asks him to.

Immediately after losing his soul, he moves into the Vee's Tower. It's nice because the Vee's tower is one of the most protected places in the pride ring, which means none of the souls he used to own will be able to try to come after him. Unfortunately this also means that Vox has access to an employee that can work overtime whenever he needs him to.

Husk is... so tired.

So when Alastor offers him a room at the hotel, Husk agrees before he can finish his pitch.

Later, he hears the full thing - that Alastor is trying to redeem sinners and thinks he can get Husk into heaven. Husk isn't sure what exactly made Alastor believe that, but a free room is a free room

(He is grateful though. So even if he doesn't think there's a chance in hell that he's getting into heaven, he does put in some effort toward rehabilitation.)

~ SWTD: Still Here AU ~ Part 4

The second half is here. Addair is next. This is currently the longest chapter, and it might be for this entire mini-series. You'll notice I've experimented with my writing style here and there, but I hope you all still enjoy!

Part 5:

'Muir? I'm here.' The sound of heavy footsteps moved towards Innes, and the unmistakable silhouette came into view. 'Muir-' A tendril grabbed Innes' ankle and pulled him towards the centre of the deck, but it made sure he didn't collide with any dangerous equipment. He sheltered his face with crossed arms and waited until he came to a stop after nearly 5 seconds. Not much, but that's because you're not Innes, who was quiet frankly shitting himself. Giving himself a moment to process what had just happened, he lowered his arms, whilst Muir let him go, towering over him, casting a shadow.

The pair were silent. Their eyes locked. Muir's full of hurt. Innes' full of regret.

Sunil, McLurg and Dobbie peered through the container, then left their hiding position. They knew the fog would act as good enough cover, but they had to be quiet. Hard to do with metal practically everywhere. Every step and breath counts. Sunil lead and managed to get under a collapsed piece of the rig, but it wasn't big enough for all of them. It acted as a tunnel and you had to army crawl to move. McLurg and Dobbie stayed hidden behind a large stack of crates. Sunil crawled until he was somewhat out of hiding to observe.

'Innes...'

'Yeah, I'm here, mate.' Innes awkwardly stumbled to his feet, not taking his eyes off Muir. He was terrified and Muir knew that. He could hear his heartbeat. It hurt. Everything hurt. He couldn't describe or compare the pain. His mind was being pulled in all directions, and whenever he had a moment of clarity, there was a sudden pressure crushing his brain. Muir wanted to let go, but something deep down made him hold on. Fight through the pain.

'Why did you run?'

'I...I'm sorry, but I was scared and-'

'You left me!'

Tendrils suddenly shot out in all directions and Muir reared his head back, letting out an ear-piercing scream that turned into a wail. Innes stood still. Tears rolled down his face. The guilt washed over and consumed him. A lump in his throat formed. If he could turn back time, he would have stayed, but he panicked. No one could blame him. It was out of instinct.

He spotted Sunil out of the corner of his eye. Both exchanged a look before turning back to Muir, who's tendrils had now planted themselves across the deck in all directions. He hung his head in shame and wished to just disappear. Innes found the courage to move closer and place a hand on the hard-hat, making sure to not touch the flesh Just keep him focused.

'Hey. Remember that time you hit me?' Well, that caught Muir's attention. The look of pain turned into confusion, and he slightly raised his head. 'It was only your second week here and I had you carry the replacement scaffolding because I couldn't be fucking bothered. You didn't hear what I said and turned, and skelped me in the face. Gave me ten stitches and a reason to grow a beard.'

Sunil couldn't believe what he had just heard. His mouth was agape, brows furrowed and head tilted. McLurg mouthed 'what the fuck?' And poor Dobbie just had a look of defeat on his face and stared at the ground, expecting it to have the answers.

A chuckle. Then another. Soon it became a laugh. A mix of relief and the memory itself. Muir reared his head back again in laughter. The fog had been lifted. His mind was his own again. Still didn't stop the chronic pain shooting through his body or the fact he was now ironically half-blind, but that didn't matter. Whatever it was telling him to not give up worked.

'I say I did you a favour.'

The guilt left Innes. His posture relaxed, his heart rate calmed, and he smiled. He began to laugh along.

'Still a smart one, aren't ya?'

'Well, someone has to be.'

They continued to laugh until it hurt. All the years of smoking caused Innes to have a small coughing fit and Muir kept laughing until he had to stop. Neither of the men could describe how they felt. Relief? Happiness? No, it was something else but they couldn't put their finger on it, or they didn't want to admit it.

A tendril wrapped around Innes' waist. A hug from Muir. Innes returned the favour and hugged what he could of Muir's neck. Neither wanted to let each other go.

Sunil, McLurg and Dobbie left their hiding spots yet kept their distance. It was very obvious from their perspective how much the pair loved each other. Not their place to judge. They just wanted to go to Accommodation. It was the best place to find others. Kelly should still be in his room and Scooby did take off in that direction.

'Oi, Love Birds?!' McLurg really wanted to go to Accommodation. 'Can we go now-?'

Suddenly The Beria began to shake. The terrible sound of metal bending rang through their ears. Muir pulled the men towards him and used his body to act as a shield. His tendrils planted themselves firmly after one of his legs slipped and gave out. He moved to regain his footing, but his vision began to blur. After a moments panic, he felt a twitch in the back of his head. Something grappling to the back of his mind was slipping away, like a plug being removed from the socket. His sight quickly returned to normal when the feeling stopped.

He wasn't the only one. Trots, Gibbo and even Caz went through the same experience. The Shape that had been trying to lure them in was getting quieter. It's song fading.

The rig came to a halt.

'Right,' Innes said, catching his breath he had been holding for the last several seconds. He turned to Sunil, McLurg and Dobbie. 'You three go find the others. I'll stay here with Muir.' Because he was too big to fit inside, let alone get up the stairs. 'Just let them know we're out here getting the lift ready if we need it.' The lift was fine.

Despite the ribbon-like things blocking the doors and making themselves at home in the corridors, it was comforting to feel the warmth from the inside. They'd still be outside battling the rain and fog for hours. Of course they knew that, but it was still nice to feel the damp leave their uniform and they can literally hang up their hard-hats. Voices came from the crew lounge and they followed, happy to see just how many members were there in wait. However, McLurg couldn't help but give a look to Scooby, who hung his head and moved away from his window seat. McLurg was quick to take it.

Gibbo and Trots were the obvious standouts. To make room for them, especially Gibbo, all the tables and chairs were pushed to the side and the jukebox moved into the corridor. Roy sat in the corner injecting his much needed insulin into his arm. Trots was wearing his black polo jumper and gray trench coat whilst lighting another smoke for himself. Today was the perfect excuse to take up smoking for the first time in a decade. Raffs was shakily holding a coffee by the door. Brodie and Caz stood by Roy. The latter patted him on the shoulder and told him to rest.

Sunil did a quick head count. All of the deck crew were here, minus Innes and Muir. No Finlay, Roper, Davros, Archie and most of Engineering and Pontoons. Oh and Rennick. Still more than 70% of the staff were here. Dobbie rushed to Gibbo and began to ask a flurry of questions.

'You lot seen Innes and Muir?' Raffs asked Sunil, offering him the rest of his coffee, to which he refused.

'Still on the Deck. Muir has been infected, but he's fine. He's too big to fit inside, though. Where's everyone else?'

'Caz and I are going to get Archie then Roper,' Brodie explained as the pair went to leave. 'He called and said he's radioing for help but the power keeps dying. We lost Gregor. Don't know where anyone else is.'

Douglas, who was sat besides Kelly and had been explaining what he'd miss, overheard. 'I saw Finlay in Engineering. She might still be there helping O'Connor.'

'Why, what's going on down...' Caz's voice trailed off, whilst his eyes widened and everyone else mirrored his expression. The pieces slowly came together and the men all shared the same dread.

'...Shit.'

Innes sat on the container he used to hide from Muir. The fog lifted and snow began to fall. Fitting for Christmas. The weather out in the middle of the North Sea was unpredictable. One minute there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Give it an hour and hail could be bouncing off you. He lit a cigarette and sighed. He watched Muir 'sit' by tucking his legs under his body like a cat. A part of him wanted to laugh, but he didn't know if that would cause offence.

'How do you know what you're doing?'

Innes raised a brow and pursed his lips. 'And how does that make ye' feel?'

'What, like Rennick is now?'

They shared a small laugh together, then fell quiet. Both looked out to the endless vastness the sea offered as a view. God how they both missed home. Remind me why they decided to work through Christmas? Because neither could remember. It wasn't for the money. Both just agreed after hearing that one or the other would be here. Wasn't the first time either. No, they knew why.

'What going to happen to me?' Because Muir didn't know. He knew he could never walk down a main road to do a daily shop or even enter a house anymore. It stung. Strange how the mundane was something to crave when you realise it's gone.

'I'm not sure.' Innes had to be honest. 'But I'll be with you.' He held out a hand and Muir accepted by gently wrapping a tendril for Innes to stroke with his thumb.

The sound of the catwalk above caught their attention. Caz and Brodie could be seen sprinting to Administration. The pair noticed them and stopped.

'You fellas alright?!' Caz called.

'We're fine. Where you two going?'

'To stop that Rennick bastard from taking off without us. Archie needs to get help, but he needs to know what's happening. Then we're gonna fetch Roper.'

'Good plan.'

Serial Killer AU #2 Part 1

Pairing: Viktor/Silco (Arcane) Rating: M C/W: Discussing Crimes, Murder, Prison Break, Minor Viktor/Jayce, Viktor forgot how to be ethical

Prison AU where Silco an inmate infamous for many, many reasons. 

Viktor is a shrink that's doing a study on criminal behaviour, with a focus on Silco.

But Viktor ends up falling for Silco during their sessions.

Jayce is the warden who thinks he'll get in Viktor's pants by letting him do his study there.

Viktor being instrumental in Silco's escape though.

He's the one that planned it. He admitted his feelings to Silco during their session (private unrecorded ofc) and then explained he had a plan.

Silco getting Viktor off with just his voice and the slide of his stare during one of their sessions, when Silco is going into why he commited a certain crime.

"I wasn't aware you were so sensitive, Doctor"

Viktor ends the session early because he hasn't admitted to himself that he's in love with Silco yet.

Silco watches him go with a smirk.

Viktor trying to think of the handsome warden as he touches himself in his own bed, but Silco keeps creeping into his thoughts.

Viktor is both elated and annoyed working with Silco. He goes on a few dates with Jayce to try and get over Silco but it does not work.

The first time they go to bed, he is too afraid to ask Jayce to choke him but thinking about it, he would only enjoy it from Silco.

Silco being perceptive enough to know Viktor went to bed with the warden and quietly mocking his taste in bedfellows.

As pretty as Jayce is, Silco knows he's not capable of what the Doctor needs.

"Did you think about me with him? While he was pounding you from behind did you wish it was my cock?"

Fem!Light during the Yotsuba Arc may have been more aggressive than canon Light about separating herself from a relationship with Misa, simply because it isn't assumed that "well, I'm the one who must have asked... I just can't figure out why" because that's not how her relationship dynamics work. She doesn't remember saying yes, she can't imagine why she would have said yes, Misa is clearly delusional and can fuck right off. Her aggression might be the only reason why Misa wouldn't white-knight his way into stopping the mutual lawlight murder attempt on their first "date" lmao. I can clearly imagine him trying to heroically interject and protect his girlfriend only for Light to shriek "fuck OFF Misa" so 'unfemininely' that it takes Misa a full fifteen minutes to reboot lmao.

This is me projecting because I'm a 100 pound girl with a-cups but I want Light to have small boobs (also canon Light has a flat ass anyway). Let me sexualize my body type for once, gimme that. I think she'd wear her hair half-up half-down in a neat little clip in the back with bangs, it's very Professional and Pretty and intentionally chosen. She pigtail braids her hair at night Cinderella-style to keep it nice and L finds it annoying. The only time we would see it down in the canon timeline would be in solitary confinement, and the rain + foot scene and proceeding death scene (because that was immediately after).

For her death scene in particular, I think her hair would start up, as it usually is, but it would definitely have gone really askew and fallen out of the clip by the time she dies.

I really can't decide how exactly her relationship with Ryuk would change based on her perception of gender dynamics but I'm absolutely sure it would, whether or not we genderbend Ryuk as well. Idk, someone else help me flesh this one out bc it's all just a nebulous feeling in my head.

The daddy issues. Dude. The daddy issues would be so bad. Like, we already had "I desperately want my dad to think I live up to his expectations of me + dad is too busy with his job all the time to feel like a legit regular part of the family". Now imagine that combined with the fact that Soichiro just assumes Light has Woman Brain. "It's wonderful that you're top of your class and you're getting a degree, all capable women should go to college, but don't you think you should pick a less demanding career path so you won't have such a hard time having a family one day?? It's really sweet that you want to follow in my career path honey but I don't know if this job is good for girls like you". That scene with Namikawa would happen and L would praise her like canon and Soichiro's jaw would fucking drop. Ugh.

On a similar note I absolutely do not think Light would be able to stomach playing up the "I'm JUST a GIRL I CANT be KIRA 🥺🥺🥺" schtick even to draw some of the suspicion off of herself because canon Light already had such a hard time literally just not showing off and now add in fem! Light's inferiority complex. She would get so salty every single time people suggested it's not possible for her to be Kira ""even though I'm not"". The ONLY times she would be willing to play up the canon ditz act is when it makes her look a little careless, NEVER stupid.

Hi! Aaaaah another dredge fan! I'm always happy to rant about an au, especially Dredge holy shit I am in so deep with this game (no pun intended). Thank you for asking! (Giant dredge rant incoming lmao)

But basically what I have for this au so far is just a lot of ideas, some one shots I've written for myself, and the only art I have (added it below) is just a rough rushed sketch for a little animatic I made a while back for an art trend that was going around a while ago.

Spoilers for Dredge and it's DLCs below the cut for anyone reading and wants to play blind, you have been warned! (Seriously play this game blind its fucking amazing!)

The main gist I have is that yn is essentially in the shoes of the fisherman we play as in Dredge, showing up for a fishing job all while having mysterious gaps in their memory and a lack of understanding as to why these people they're meeting for the first time seem to recognize and know them! They meet the collector and follow the games plot (including the big reveal of the collector being the player, so in this case being yn) Rather than yn having lost a partner like the player though I've shifted things to be the person they lost, and their Collector half is trying to get back regardless of cost, is actually Eclipse himself who happens to be an eldritch entity that would be a very bad idea to release on the world, so the ending of the game in this au is essentially the choice of 'bring back your eldritch companion or accept that you aren't gonna see them again and do what you can to fix the shit going on with the world! So yn has to deal with the two versions of her in her head, the one that wants Eclipse back and the one that understands the catastrophic consequences of what doing that entails for the rest of the world.

Sun and Moon in this au are mers who have their own territory and love poking around yn's boat (and trying to keep them from getting themselves killed by the plethora of monsters and dangers roaming the sea with them!) Sun's territories are the Stellar Basin and Gale Cliffs in the south and Moon's are the Twisted Strand and the Devil's Spine in the north. I have a few different ideas floating around for the two of them, the main of which is that both are literally just smaller manifestations of Eclipse and together can form him so normally they make a point not to be too close together or not to touch when they are (or maybe just under certain conditions when Eclipse is close to being freed that's when they stay apart most to try to keep that from happening) I have some images in my mind of designs for Sun and Moon but nothing really fleshed out and actually drawn though each has certain characteristics tying to their respective territories, like Moon's red eyes resembling the eyes of the fire fish and the Unseeing Mother have in the Devil's Spine while also having slit pupils at times like the crocodiles do in the Twisted Strand. Meanwhile Sun has fluorescent spots on him like the fish and creature in the center of the Stellar Basin but can also change colors to blend into the more dull colors of the Gale Cliffs (or at least dull colors in comparison to how vibrant the Stellar Basin is lmao). I also imagine Sun and Moon have certain comfort spots they like to nestle into depending on the territory they're in when they're not busy trying to get all of yn's attention, Sun specifically usually enjoys resting behind the waterfall in the Gale Cliffs where you catch the oarfish while Moon enjoys lying hidden in the roots of the mangrove trees in the Twisted Strand near where you catch the goliath tigerfish.

While Sun and Moon are more playfully antagonistic towards yn Eclipse is a lot more intimidating for obvious reasons! He can't directly communicate a lot with yn the way Sun and Moon can since he has to be summoned to their world while Sun and Moon just get to exist in it but I imagine he is still very adamant in interacting when he can, usually through dreams that yn can't even always discern between being real things or just something random their brain made up in their sleep! Eclipse just wants out and could care less about what that means for the rest of the world so he is very keen on yn giving in to the Collector and gathering the things needed to bring him to yn's world. While all three of the boys care for yn, Eclipse has a bit more extreme of an obsession and desire to keep them around and struggles to grasp why yn won't just bring him back since he's promised to keep them safe when the world goes to shit. I also imagine him having direct ties to certain fish aberrations end up since I do have some scenes either rough draft written out or just in my head which could be its own whole long post in itself but the main idea is that some fish aberrations just happened to occur the way they did while others Eclipse specifically altered the way they look for a reason (with this being most relevant for the legendary fish aberrations which, like I mentioned, can be an entire long post on its own lmao). In terms of how Eclipse and yn met and what got him so interested in them in the first place has a couple options floating around my mind still, the main one being while Eclipse was spying on the world yn inhabits he notices that they actually seem intrigued and curious over the fish aberrations rather than repulsed like humans typically are and he gets so curious over the odd reaction he starts keeping more of an eye on them to the point he develops an obsession and starts trying to reach out in the ways he can, and then one way or another after they've actually started talking we get to the events of the game where the book is dragged up only for yn to lose their memories and now be faced with the choice of throw the book back or bring Eclipse to their world.

I also have ideas about how the dlc plays into things, with none of the boys really being happy about the Iron Rig showing up and ruining things for them (on top of endangering their yn!) and for the Pale Reach I have a lot more ideas that drift farther from the actual lore of the dlc, though that dlc's main story is still involved and is the same. But basically the Pale Reach story in this dlc on top of the actual dlc's story follows yn trying to see if there's a way for either Eclipse or if not then a smaller more restrained version of him to visit without ending the whole world as they know it since they are trying to meet him again just not at the cost of reality itself breaking!

But yeah that's a lot of the overview stuff I have for this au, Dredge has been a very strong brain rot for me (clearly by the length of this post lmao) but I love talking about it, so feel free to ask more about it if you have anymore specific questions about it or just want to know more in general! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

Okay, I'm actually obsessed with your 'jayvik works for silko au'. I like that Viktor is the face of their work, the confident one that everyone knows (and fears, as they should). Also, I imagine Jayce like he looked in THAT council room scene in e8s2 (he looks SO hot in those dark clothes and the beard, damn (and I'm ace so that's saying something, lol)). Just slightly longer hair maybe.

I think Jayce would be in denial for a few years about the true situation he's in, regarding not just Viktor and their power dynamics, but their work and Silko and the situation in Zaun in general. But then he would have a epiphany about it and then slowly realizes stuff and accepts it surprising well. By the end of the time skip he's completely on board with what he's doing (though in the same way Viktor is, and the two conspire together).

You said we can ask for more of the au so, if I may maybe request a tender moment between the two? Like their love confession or them getting together. Just Viktor being vournelable with Jayce and it's the firs time ever he is with someone since like really early childhood. And he's freaking out internally about it but just wants to so badly.

Or the scene where Vi and Cait meet them (mainly Jayce) post timeskip (does it happen the same time Vi and Jinx meet for the fist time? Or is it different). I just kind of want to see Caits reaction to Jayce being alive and the whole, he's working for the kingpin, making weapons and is married to an infamous henchman/silkos inventor/the Herald/whatever Viktor is. I think it would be hilarious.

First of: I'm SO glad people like this au because it's been on my mind ever since the show barely came out!! This + crow queen + the meadow au are the very first ones I developed for Arcane and I've been slowly going insane over them. Hehehe. I do have to preface this by saying: when originally created, it was done with *League* lore in mind. I've had to tweak and adjust things for them to make sense with some of the newer backstory + revelations. Which is one of the main reasons as to why I've only posted it as ideas/snippets. I don't even want to get into the logistics of how Piltover would evolve without the hexgates (since their creators are buried deep in the underground and refuse to work with anyone in the council) or what the presence of not only one, but now *two* apparent heirs for Silco could entail. It's a very nice idea that I love, but it's nowhere near as fleshed out as it needs to be for me to write a fic :((

One of the main reasons I enjoy it is the subversion of their power dynamic! In this one, is Viktor who has to step out and defend Jayce when needed (there's actually a scene very similar to the last EP of S1, where Viktor has to cement Jayce's standing as his *partner* (meaning, equal, so please stop trying to kill him or undermining him) in front of Zaun's chembarons. Though Jayce eventually ends up earning his own name and reputation! I've actually got a small scene for that in the works, but basically people's perspective of him goes: that's herald's new boytoy (is he going to last?) > that's herald's new lap dog (is he trying to steal sevika's spot?) > He is to Viktor what Sevika is to Silco + they fuck > that's herald's new apprentice (is he good enough for the title) to, finally > He Defender (or smth idk not quite sure of his Zaun Tittle yet), Herald's partner, Jinx's second favorite. Jayce has to fight tooth and nail for his spot at Silco's chain of command, but once he has it no one dares question him. People fear provoking them both because of The Herald's vindictive vein as much as they are terrified of The Defender's (I'm between that and warden really) senseless rage. However, Zaunites do start going to Jayce for help, since he is the kinder and more approachable out of the bunch. Silco lets Jayce run around fixing houses and "playing hero" because it's actually gaining them a lot of sympathy and making more people slowly rally behind his ideals.

I've also given silco a bit more of a political incline. There is a draft of Jayce and Viktor convincing Silco to start a small public school, but it's still a "maybe", since there's the whole child labor aspect and allat.

And, yeah. Jayce is completely in denial for almost a year. He's lost everything he's ever known, was faced with the crude reality that piltover will, can and has turned its back against one of their own. He's bitter and humiliated, after all, Jayce does have a bit of an ego in the og show and everything that transcends here hurts him. Also, Viktor and Silco are both spewing shit about Piltover in his ear every single day (not without reason lol). But you are generally right with that analysis!! When he does have the final breakdown, he bounces back fast as hell. He becomes really codependent with Viktor and Jinx in those times, then gets better and better at accepting the cards he's been dealt.

I'm still debating about the plot point of Viktor and Jayce conspiring to take over Silco's place and *actually* do something for Zaun. In this au we would have: them trying to win over Sevika, secretive plotting, them do their best to properly mold Jinx so she will eventually rebel (or, in case Silco is taken out by that point, she can step in and allow them a place at her side)

Also I'm SO glad S2 gave me a proper image for visualizing Zaunite Jayce. I was screaming at my computer when I realized that all my dreams had been answered. I'm debating giving him streaks of color or something. Idk yet.

I WILL write that as soon as I'm out of finals lol. I also have one of Viktor's efforts to convince everyone of Jayce being treated as his equal and the way they meet. It's all a bit convoluted.

Some things I'm not quite if I should change yet;

Originally, Singed cut off Viktor's leg and gave him a prosthetic, framing this as "getting rid of the bad parts". This would eventually evolve into the whole cyborg-viktor we see in the games. There was also a very homoerotic situation where he got Jayce to cut off his hand when the wrist stopped answering properly. Idk sorry I've a lot of weird kinks in store for them.

This also meant Viktor giving Jayce modifications. One thing that im definitely keeping is that he gives Jayce sharper canines + possibly adds a "venom" mechanism so he can better defend himself. They experiment on each other as a way to show love okay. Also Jayce gets a piercing. Idk where how or why but I need this man pierced. Maybe him and Viktor get matching ones like Alternate Ekko and Alternate Powder. Gold and Silver little bands. Why not.

There was a whole thing about Viktor just kinda going ham and trying to add body mods to their already shimmered soldiers.

Edit: I want to clarify that I understand that sevika is loyal to ideas, not people. She is loyal to Silco because he is the best bet they have at the moment, and then to Jinx for the same reason (yes she definitely cares for jinx but u get the idea). Still, they would have to work REALLY hard to convince this woman to put her life on the line to betray the biggest mob boss around. She does stand by them and their ideas a lot of times, wanting Zaun's betterment as much as they do.
