Speaking of family, Jut is still every bit the doting father and has taken to singing lullabies to his daughter while he walks up and down the room rocking her, which makes me "awwww" affectionately every time I catch him doing it.

After I watched Jut with his daughter for a few minutes I checked in again to see how Toki is doing and his spine is permanently cracked???? My poor boy!!!! If only this transhumanist colony had an easy solution to such a problem...

Alistair works fast, so Tokori doesn't have to be in pain for too long.

Okay NEED to know more about the Godmother Giselle thing

Troy is canonically 20yrs old, which means that Giselle & Douglas had the idea for superpowered robots at around the same time. My headcanon has always been that since Giselle & Douglas worked together on AI in college, Douglas used that research for the superpowered robots that he & Donald built later on--which is part of the reason Giselle hates him so much (he stole her research/idea).

Anyways, this means that both Donald & Giselle are Marcus' co-creators/spiritual godparents. I even wonder if Giselle named Marcus, since his name fits her naming scheme (Greek/Roman) more than Douglas'.

I'm genuinely questioning this. Did Gaylord and Cindy just...not notice they're son got turned into a giant snot monster or??? Because Melvin went to school the next day, so did Melvin just tell his parents to suck it or did they just not notice?? HOW DO YOU MISS SOMETHING LIKE THAT??? The only reason they even showed up to the scene at the end of the book was because they wanted to tell everyone they were building a new machine and for Gaylord to just be annoying.

I wonder if after Ilana learned that Lance’s father is gone in ep 6, if she would reminisce on what she said to Lance in ep 2 “Don’t you miss home too ?”. And realize that Lance, unlike her, doesn't really have a home to go back to. Or would figure out that Lance was the son of the man she attended the funeral for when she was younger.

He spends a weird amount of time in the bathtub. If I can't find him at the scanner, he's almost certainly in the bath. Maybe the cloning process made him part fish?

I'm sure decaying organs can't be pretty, but Tokori only has to worry about a kidney and a lung now. Both of those are things which, if I'm not mistaken, he can survive without if the worst comes to the worst.
