My knowledge of superhero comics isn't deep so much as it is frustratingly eclectic. Like, I might well completely fail to recognise a character who's been a regular member of the X-Men for thirty years, but if you need somebody to explain from unprompted memory the complete plot of Spanner's Galaxy, I'm your guy.

a few yrs ago i was mucking around with a danny phantom concept of a bug kingdom in the ghost zone, and a specific ghost mantis character in it. i was reminded of it recently and decided to give the design a facelift :p

Danny does not come out of the portal. 

In fact, he’s lost. Very lost. He just wants to go home and is getting scared of everything around him because he doesn’t know what’s going on. But! But he’s found an (admittedly also terrifying) castle or keep or whatever they’re called that all the ghosts avoid!

It never exactly enters his mind that they might have been avoiding such a place for a reason. 

In unrelated news, the first thing Fright Knight sees after his sword was (accidentally) knocked free from its prison is not a blob ghost- they’ve done it a few times over the eternities- but a ghostling. A newborn ghostling, who promptly bursts into tears to his genuine horror. What did he do?!

I think this one has my favorite expression for Grimm Jr. Just look at how disturbed he is at the Knight.

This one is fairly more recent than most of the other comics, at least before the Nightmare King song. But this was after finishing the "1-a-Day" that I did, given that some of the techniques I used for this was learned from that (And I finally figured out how to use perspective tools).

(Also, I wanted to post a different comic. For some reason, however, I'm constantly getting errors. I'll try again, but I can't guarantee I'll succeed)
