Welcome to this Dandy's World X Reader blog!

My name is Anna, but you can call me whatever you want, you can call me Grace too. I'm just someone who is attempting to write a bit of some x reader stuff again like good old times. I'm an adult so if that makes you uncomfortable, feel free to leave this blog. I want to try and make this a safe space for people to come and relax.

Let's get into the rules and that, shall we?:

-This is ONLY an x reader blog! I don't write ships BUT what I can do is write poly x reader if someone wishes for it. Please specify if you want it to be poly rather than separate!

-I will write for all toons and twisteds (No Blot yet!!), romantic or platonic. Toodles, Pebble and Coal will only be platonic and every request with them will automatically be so as well, please don't be weird. Please also specify if you want your request to be platonic, if there is no mention of it, I will make it romantic. Also specify if you want the twisted version of a toon! (Or both!). Scenarios that have more than one character without any mentions of poly will be platonic.

-Angst is allowed, no NSFW but suggestive stuff is fine. Reader is gender-neutral unless specified. Reader is also a toon.

-I can try writing for maybe heavier topics but know that it might not be my best work or I might back out if it's too much for me, please feel free to correct me if I get anything wrong.

-Requests might take a while as I have other stuff to do and work on or real life happened. Some days will be 1 request, others 2, depends on how I feel or if I'm busy!! Sundays are off but I might not post in other days too, really depends!!

-I also take my time writing and posting because I want to write a lot for each request and to also not get overwhelmed by writing all the time (I need time alone too to recharge well), apologies for this as new requests will take a very good while but it's something I need to do to not lose my sanity.

-I can deny any request if I feel uncomfortable with it, it doesn't elaborate enough (if you can, please put a lot in!) or even because I have no idea what to write for it, please respect that.

-If requests are closed and someone sends something in, it will be deleted. Please wait until I open them again to send something in!!

-You can only request up to 4 characters, if I get more than 4, I will randomly pick myself. If it's a scenario with the characters (for example: main toons, two or three toons reacting to something in general) this rule doesn't apply.

-If I don't post your request, either Tumblr ate the ask or I denied it (the first being WAYYY more likely), you can ask if you are curious about your request though.

-If I did your request wrong, please let me know so I can rewrite it! I do want to make you guys happy, after all!

um my confession is that this fandom lowkey pmo with the shipping. and don’t get me wrong, im in a TON of other fandoms that have had shipping discourse and drama, but i wouldnt say this fandom has had any? just that y’all are kind of passive aggressive.

every. single. character interaction. gets tagged as shipping. I don’t see this as much with the rairpairs, but with the popular ships like fruitcake (I see it the most with this one but I have seen some shellvision shippers do this)? like it’ll legit be a drawing of cosmo and sprout getting along or like a dialogue interaction or whatever, and people in the tags go ‘FRUITCAKE?!?!?’

I also keep seeing rairpairs in this fandom and I’ll be like woah!! that’s cool!!! I never thought of that!!! and then I check comments/tags wtv and there’s someone either a) saying another ship with one of the characters is better or b) making it about a different fucking ship. like brother. go post about that ship somewhere else!!!!! not naming names but I saw a rairpair post with shrimpo and another character that wasn’t usually shipped with them (I haven’t seen it before) and I check tags and there’s somebody making it about angryhugs.

Honestly, man, fandoms are so shipping-centric. I miss the days where fandoms were small, and there weren't genuine shipping wars every single day about which ship was better. A lot of shipping content is common on dw hcs, which is fine! But there's so much more to the characters and story than there are shipping.

People like to post their opinions on the internet. But the fact that some people go out of their way to make EVERYTHING shipping centric or make everything about one specific ship makes it hard to kick back and enjoy the fandom.

That's one of the reasons I started this place up! To interact with the side of the fandom that has other things to say, both about the game and their personal experience with it.

I like to interact with the fans and people who take part in the blog, and this is a good place to do so! I'm already enjoying Dandy's Daily Inbox wholeheartedly. I love talking with you guys and hearing your stories and thoughts and opinions!

I'm actually surprisingly new to being a fictionkin, so I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

Stop asking why I don't get asks from iheartfireemblem

I get it, they talk to majority of the RP blogs but not mine. You're curious. But stop asking.

I didn't do anything to them, so stop asking what I did.

This is not an invite to harass them nor am I telling you how you should think about them.

This is my experience, and it was reason for me to block them.

You're a mod I frequently talk to either in character or out of character and you think they're perfectly fine and dandy, you like seeing them in your inbox? Then that's your opinion. I'm not here to tell you it's wrong.

Too Long; Didn't Read:

The way they interacted with Baizhu made me very uncomfortable partly due to a rather uncommon disability I have, so I blocked them.

Too Long:

As with all interactions, it started normally, they came to the pharmacy and Baizhu, though when asked, did not answer why they were here. Rather soon after, it became focused on Changsheng, feeling, to me, a little rude about Baizhu's knowledge of Changsheng. [1, 2, 3.]

After getting a plaster from Baizhu, as they finally answered why they came to Baizhu after the Changsheng questions, they ask what his favourite flower was.

At this point, they were the third person to ask, so I was a little jokey about "everyone asking". [x]

Standard (and canon) "I'll get Baizhu a gift as thanks" "No, you don't need to do that, it's just my job" interaction.

At this point, I'm fine. Annoyance with Changsheng is over, I think this is just a standard anon, so keeping with standard character interactions.

Then we begin a little more flirt-y. [x] I am not opposed to anons flirting with my muses, but there is a time and a place. And this is Baizhu. If you've played his character story, you know he's not really the type to answer those style questions. [x]

And then they immediately question the final statement further. [x]

So, in the context of the character, they:

Insulted a medical professional's knowledge of the topic

Violated someone's privacy

Didn't believe someone's statements about themself

Didn't believe someone's statements about an animal that has lived with them for a large portion of their life

Pried into the very personal life of someone giving you medical treatment - which if it's the other way around can lose you your docotr's licence

And then asked him out for dinner. [1, 2]

Now, I suspect a lot of people are thinking "Wow, mod. You're overreacting."

Here's the thing.

Baizhu is chronically ill and largely invisibly so (even if it's for a mystical reason).

So, suddenly, all of this pushing of health questions and skepticism of his words about it hit VERY close to home. As something I have to deal with IRL.

1. The character everyone gets wrong?

First one to come to mind is Kaminari. Some the of the fandom makes him too stupid for me. I'm sure the same kid who stated some literature facts and always is careful and tells people to stay clear of his quirk knows how to work a toaster just fine. I'm positive that he knows how to stick a fork in an outlet.

21. Part of canon you think is overhyped?

My mind was kinda blank for this one at first, but you know what? Given recent manga chapters, I gotta put Uraraka and her crush here.

Now before anyone comes after me, I know I heard about five people growl, let me explain.

It's not the idea of her having a crush is bad, I don't think it is. It's not that I hate IzuOcha, it's not a top ship for me but I don't hate it and I see the appeal. It's not even because it's part of her character, not a personality trait, people. It's something she's going through.

It's how people take to it. It's either people really hate or really love it and then there's me, who sees it as the most normal and by far tamed version of someone having a crush in anime and manga.

For one, I've had crushes in high school, so Uraraka having a crush is not a big deal for me. Two, it's a normal thing that I'm sure many teens gone through before. It's relatable, but it doesn't need to be glorified to the point of reducing that character to having that crush. Like, come on, if you hate or love Uraraka for having a crush, I think it was forgotten her actual personality traits and why she even came to Yuuei in the first place.

25. Common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing?

Any time someone complains about the villains or hates on characters for doing bad things. I get it if you hate a character, that's fine and dandy. That is to be expected, it's normal.

But to constantly whine to the point of going into people's inboxes and be mean because of some fiction?

Uh... to knowledge, stories usually have conflict. Of course, there's gonna be bad things that happen! Conflict will exist!

friend of 3 years stopped replying to texts. we have two groups in common and they have time to chat on there for hours sometimes. i just couldn't handle it anymore and confronted them one day. the most embarrassing part was that i was so heartbroken that i inevitably started crying my fucking eyes out. even writing this makes me want to cry till i sleep and don't have to think about them. there wasn't anything romantic. just putting that out there because people have a habit of assuming. we used to be very good friends and it hurts that we can't have whatever we once did. they had been lonely before i met them and introduced them to a larger group i knew. i was happy that they branched out and made lots of friends. i loved them (platonically) so of course i would be happy. but somewhere along the line their excitement while talking to me waned. they didn't want to talk. they didn't want to text. they just grew bored of me. i tried to let them go because they obviously couldn't give less of a fuck. for some reason though they approach me randomly when they have nothing better to do i guess. it hurts but i almost always end up talking to them despite not wanting to. i wish it was easier to hate them when we talk. i wish i was easier for them to love.

p.s.- sorry for the rant. i recently read your post about missing people and it made me think about them. coincidentally they contacted me soon after. it's been tough and i wanted this off my chest. hope you can figure things out with that person! much love.

Casually slides into your inbox. HIIIIIIII!! I was wondering how you manage to write such well written and long writings, as well as getting them done so quickly.

Okay! This will take a while cuz I rambled a LOT! I really hope this helps in some way, dear! (If you wanted advice or tips-) Thank you for asking!! <3

First off, I wanted to say that I procrastinate a LOT, like to levels that shouldn't even be happening, I WILL get this sorted out in the future but I wanted to tell you that it's okay to take your time with it! Don't stress and make sure you also have fun with it!

One thing I also wanted to say is that we all start somewhere and I'm sure you can improve the more you write, it feels easier when you are also having fun with what you are writing and have ideas too! It's not a bad idea to look up prompts online and write something based on it! The prompt can be something as simple as dialogue or an idea that can grab your attention. Why not write your ideas down to remember them later too? You don't even have to write that is long, just some simple paragraphs are fine too!!

I have written for two other fandoms before making this blog so I do have some experience with writing things for people! If you don't really know what to write, it might not be a bad idea to ask people so you can write something small for them! You don't need to go long for your writing to be good, I just personally like writing a lot for people and describe things about the environment or even the characters emotions or the situation in general. Maybe how they feel, how the situation affects them, what they are thinking and more! I'm sure there is more advice out there for this! But I like adding details like that which makes my writing look long-

This is something I do with my precious bestie Yam and man, a thing we have been doing for years now is write things for each other with the characters we love basically! (It really helps to do this with a good friend!!) One of us starts asking a question like "How would they react if this situation happened to them?" And the other person takes their time writing things like how the character reacts, feels, what they do and more! Y'all basically feed each other and also write stuff a lot, it's a win-win!! There is no pressure, each side takes their time and writes how much they want (me and Yam like writing a lot) and not to mention roleplay too! We like writing a lot there too and describing things, the environment, the mood, lots of stuff! Basically try not to make it dry, don't be afraid to jump into the details and the characters, their actions, emotions and more! If you don't really have anyone, it's not a bad idea to explore a character and how they would react to things by yourself! Maybe a surprise party? Why not describe how they are feeling about it? What do they do? Are they touched? Happy? Go wild!! There are so many scenarios and more to search and you can decide something for the level you are comfortable with!

Like I said before, it can help writing things for other people and even help you write longer, more detailed responses, I actually noticed I put more detail in the things I write throughout the years! Just don't push yourself to write and please please take care of yourself so you don't get burned out too!!

This might work but it might not be a bad idea to try and do one-shot fics, either for yourself or for someone! The one-shot fics I do are quite long (way longer than what I write on this blog) and a lot of them are for myself or for my precious friends! For example, I wrote an angst Dandy's World fic before where my character has become a twisted already and the team encounters her for the first time. I focused on one character mostly but I really enjoyed exploring how said character felt, what they did and more, especially coming face to face with a twisted who is just staring intensely at you sksksk, it can be pretty fun!

You can do any scenarios you want, too! It can be wholesome, angst, sad, hurt/comfort and other things! Maybe even an AU or a simple regular scenario, you can go wild and do anything you want!!

As time went on, I noticed that my responses to even regular texts are not that dry and I can say my thoughts and opinions by writing kinda quickly and also knowing how to describe things somewhat and other stuff! I'm also a person that talks a LOT LIKE A LOT LOT so this might also play a part in it sksks but I'm seriously not as dry as I was years ago!

As for writing the fics, like I also said in the beginning, I procrastinate a LOT sobs but I also wanted to tell you the way I start writing them! I like to add 10 "-" lines and try to write kinda long paragraphs for each of them. Let's say for example a request has Sprout in it, maybe a scenario with a baker reader? Let's go with that! I'm someone that actually dives in and starts writing and comes up with things the more I get into the scenario.

For the first paragraph, I like to describe how the character feels about the reader and in this case, I imagine Sprout definitely having fun with the reader baking things together! I like diving into what the characters would feel and do a lot and I imagine Sprout feeling positively about a baker reader.

I like making paragraphs based on a specific topic? Like since we know Cosmo is Sprout's best friend, I definitely imagine the three of you baking together and just having fun making delicious sweets! I would put this into a single paragraph because it focuses on Cosmo and the three of you doing things together only.

Another paragraph might focus on how Sprout acts together with you in the kitchen, if we take that this is a romantic request where Sprout is in a relationship with the reader, I imagine him being silly and just having fun together with the reader. It can be things like quick kisses as you pass ingredients around or soft nudges or even side hugs as someone is doing something. This, can also be its own single paragraph!

Another paragraph might focus on how Sprout feels about the end results and what you two have baked together! I like to imagine his reactions and anything that tells me that "yeah, I feel like he would act like this, this feels in character", then I like putting that reaction in. It could even focus on his affection towards the reader in general, holding them close, being sweet, y'know? And also a mix of how he feels as he looks at what you two made together, proud? Happy? Does it show in his body language? His expression? I like describing those things more closely!

And that's basically how I kinda do it! I think of specific scenarios and situations that the reader and Sprout come across or the emotions and more. Maybe a scenario about how you all teach Boxten how to bake? It can be a paragraph! Another one might focus on you and Sprout baking things for one another separately and even feeding what you made to each other! This can also be its own paragraph that goes into detail about it! That's how my writing might feel long, I like to come up with ideas and add them in and make them their own paragraphs that go deep into it and the last paragraph is usually how things are overall.

If it's a scenario for example where.. let's say something happens to the reader and they become a twisted and maybe the character's reaction after seeing the reader like that, I like to make the scenario go to that direction basically? The first paragraph might start with how you two feel and do about the situation, maybe the next two paragraphs might focus on what you do specifically to distract yourselves whether alone or with each other (it can also depend a lot on the character like let's take Glisten for example, he probably feels quite anxious and does his best to keep his appearance up, he has to be perfect, after all. Or maybe a character like Cosmo, does he try cheering others up? Still baking cookies for everyone? Maybe a focus on how he acts together with the reader?? And more!)

The next, you can try getting a bit creative and say how the reader got injured or something happened to them, you can even imagine what the specific character does, are they doing machines? Were they sticking close to you? Did you try protecting them because they froze in fear? Did they try to help you but couldn't? It can really depend on the character you are writing for! I like going to the angsty route and the reader gets left behind or they try to save the reader but they just couldn't, the elevator is ticking there too! Maybe If I feel like it, I might make it that the reader does make it in time but the injuries aren't.. really helping there, it doesn't take them long to become a twisted or the team having to let the reader go, you could also describe the character's reaction or how they try to help you in panic, you can go wild with it!! It's YOUR writing, after all!!

As for the other paragraphs, you can try writing how the character copes without the reader or what they do or building how the character and reader are going to meet again, is it messy? Is the character about to cry? I really like exploring scenarios like that based on the character I'm writing for!!

I really hope this helped, even a little bit, it doesn't take a single night to become pretty okay at writing, I have been writing since 2019-2020 now!! I really hope this helped you, dear!! I LOVE YOU; ain’t that the worst thing you’ve ever heard?

a/n: Hello friends! This is a small little concept that has been on my head for a bit now. It does envolve Roommate!Harry + Friends with benefits so.. Hope everyone enjoys it!! As always, feel free to leave feedback or just chat with me on my inbox if you want to :)

You’re a mess.

And you’re aware of that. You feel ridiculous for reacting the way you are over something so silly, but you can’t help it. 

The fruity taste from the numerous cocktail you’d consumed still lingers on your tongue. Your mind is blurry, the movement of the car making you a bit dizzy. You can feel your face sticky from the tears and you hate it, moving your hand to wipe away harshly the ones that still fall stubbornly from your eyes.

“Don’t rub it so hard, you’ll hurt yourself,” you hear Maya say from your side, grabbing your hand gently and moving it away from your face. 

“I’m fine,” you mumble, not even convincing yourself as you close your eyes tightly.

You know in the morning you’ll probably feel very embarrassed for putting her in this position. But at this moment you can only feel grateful for her hand rubbing soothing circles on your back, the other coming up to wipe your tears.

The night wasn’t supposed to end like this. It was supposed to be a girls’ night to celebrate the end of the term. Mary was excited to visit the new club that opened downtown and wouldn’t shut up about it for the entire week. You’re not even the biggest club kind of girl. Not finding the fun in over-crowded closed spaces filled with people buzzed out of their minds. But it had been so long since you had a night out with them that you agreed with no need of much convincing from their part.

And it all started nice and dandy, the place was packed but you still managed to find an empty spot by the bar. You felt good to finally have a relaxing night out with your friends and enjoy their company while having strawberry flavored drinks. Too many of them, if you think about it now. 

Before you knew your head was filled with clouds, your chest hot from the effect of the alcohol in your system. The lights flashed from the ceiling, dancing around you, as Mary pulled your hand gently to follow her to the middle of the party. A loud beat you didn’t even recognize ringed on your ears.

You felt giggly, laughing as you and Maya stumbled a bit on your foot as you tried to move along to the song.

You remember a hand laying lightly on your shoulders making you look back to be met with a stranger’s hooded eyes. It hasn’t been that long but you can’t really recall any distinctive feature, only remembering you thought he reminded you of a young Ryan Gosling. You know he whispered something in your ear that made you giggle. Not knowing exactly what, you can still recall the raspy tone of his voice.

You remember melting into his kiss, smiling to the sweet taste as his tongue met yours. You’re not sure how long you stayed like this, but even with your foggy mind, you can still remember when you pushed him away. Murmuring a quick “sorry” to his confused eyes before speeding your way through the crowd. 

You remember hearing your friends’ voices calling you as you rushed toward the bathrooms. The tears already falling down your face, making you feel more stupid than you already felt. 

And this is the best word to describe this. Stupid. Everything about this breakdown is stupid. And you hate yourself for being this affected by it.

“Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!” his words rang on your mind.

Harry.

Just the thought of him lingering back into your mind makes you choke on a sob again.

How are you even going to face him like this? How are you even going to tell him what happened? You can just go in and say “Hey! I made out with a random guy and cried because I felt guilty that he wasn’t you.”

Yes, he is your friend. And that’s it. He is just your friend. It doesn’t matter that you live together. It doesn’t matter you have sex every so often. That’s all you’ll ever be. Friends.

Then why do you feel so guilty about it?

Isn’t that what this whole friend with benefits deal is about? What happened to the “no strings attached” rule?

You’re not exclusive, and you know that very well. So you’re allowed to make out with a random stranger if you feel like it. But this whole situation still falls heavily on your heart, and you can’t help it but think of your curly-haired roommate waiting for you in your shared living room couch.

You could kiss every person in this world and it still wouldn’t compare to the feeling of his lips meeting yours. No one’s hands knew how to explore your body so gently yet still roughly when you needed it. No one knew if the sucked on the right spots in your neck you’d melt into their arms. No one knew how to say the words that make your heart speed up and a wet spot to grow on your underwear.

No one but him.

Which is why you feel so stupid. If you see any kind of media portraying this kind of relationship, it always ends up in the same cliche way. Friends start having casual sex. One of them catches feelings. The same said friend gets heartbroken. The end.

You should’ve seen it coming.

The car stops in front of your building, and you take a few seconds to try to recompose yourself. You wish you could just sneak in without Harry noticing, climb into your bed and cry silently until you fall asleep. He would never have to see you like this and would never know about your feelings for him.

But you know him. You live with him for a year now. You know he’s waiting for you, snuggling on his soft blanket while watching some old documentary on History Channel.

You don’t want to look at your reflection as you go up on the elevator, but you know you should, anyway. So you turn around, scrunching your nose as you take in your messy appearance.

Your eyes are puffy and there’s still evidence of the dry trail the tears made down your cheeks. You have a few strands of hair leaving the bun Maya attempted to make while you cried on her shoulder at the club’s bathroom stall. You can feel her eyes watching you closely on the side of your vision.

Taking a deep breath, you re-tie your hair back on a low ponytail before stepping out to your front door.

You fiddle with your keys, unlocking the door and opening it slowly. The light of television illuminates the room, as you predicted, a mop of curls laying comfortably against the cushions.

Harry looks up from his spot as he hears you open the door. You stand there awkwardly with Maya, waiting for the moment he’ll realize something’s wrong.

“Love?” He gets up from the couch lazily before making his way to you. His eyebrows knit together as he takes in your appearance, his hand moving to cup your cheeks gently. “Were you cryin’? What happened?”

You shake your head slightly. Closing your eyes for a moment holding back the tears that are threatening to fall again. Opening them, you’re met with Harry’s worried eyes, gazing between you and Maya as to look for answers.

You glance at your friend standing by the half-open door as she looks back at you with a frown. “I’m gonna clean my face.” You say, shooting Harry a quick look before you make your way down the hallway.

The walls spin a bit as you stumble slowly on your steps. You can hear their rushed whispers as you walk, knowing that Maya was most likely updating Harry on your earlier breakdown. It makes you want to get away as quickly as possible, not wanting to face him after he’s aware of the situation.

You take your time as you do your nightly routine, your mind still a bit slow and your head pounding from crying so hard earlier. You wash your face, taking off the smallest bit of makeup left and getting rid of the sticky feeling from the dry tears. 

It’s when you pull your head back from the sink after washing it that you’re met with his green irises watching you from the mirror reflection. 

“Are you feeling better?” His voice is soft and careful as he approaches you. 

You simply nod, turning around to look at him properly. 

“Hate seeing you like this,” he says, reaching with his hand to rub your cheek. I’ll make you something warm to drink so you can go to sleep, how does that sound?”

“Nice,” you say, smiling softly. “But don’t really feel like sleeping right now.” You start, “Just-wanted to be with you for a bit.”

He coos slightly at your confession. “How ‘bout I put on a movie then?” He suggests, “y’can fall asleep to it.”

You chuckle, knowing he’s teasing you for never staying awake when you watch movies too late. “Sounds great.”

“Does it?” He smiles, “put on something comfy then, I’ll get everything started.”

After he leaves, you quickly brush your teeth, putting on the first sleeping clothes you can find in your room. You meet Harry in the kitchen. He looks over his shoulder as he feels you walk in, smiling softly as he turns around with a mug in his hand.

“‘S tea,” he says, handing you the drink. You shoot him a grateful smile as you take it, taking a small sip and letting the warm feeling take over your mouth. “Movie’s ready just gotta cuddle in and hit play.”

You smile at his words, “Which one?”

“Coraline,” he answers with a slight smirk on his face.

You gasp, “but you hate it!”

“I don’t hate it, just creeps me out a bit,” he steps closer to you, reaching his hand to move a strand of hair from your forehead. “But I know you love it, so I’ll make this sacrifice.”

The warmth in his voice as he says it makes your heart swell. You put the mug down on the counter next to you before you hug him tightly. “Thank you.”

“No need to thank me, love,” he whispers. “Just don’t like seeing you upset,” he presses a kiss to the side of your head before patting your back gently. “Now c’mon get settled down, I’m right behind you.”

Soon, you get comfortable in the same place you found him when you first entered the apartment. He doesn’t take long to join you, coming from his room with a knitted fabric in his hands.

“Here,” he sits next to you, giving you what you find to be one of his sweaters. The one you always like to nuzzle when he’s wearing it because you find it so soft.

You pout at the gesture, quickly putting it over your head and nestling yourself on the oversized sweater. He shoots you a fond smile before reaching for the remote, “Ready?”

“Wait,” you stop him, making him look at you with the sweetest eyes it makes your heart skip a beat. “I’m sorry for being such a mess.”

“Wow, let’s stop right there, darlin’,” he quickly closes the space between you two, placing his hand on your knee. “You’re not a mess, not even close.”

You sigh, “I know, but it’s just-” you shake your head slightly, feeling your thoughts still floating on your head, making it harder to concentrate on your words. “Thank you for this.”

“Love-”

“No, seriously,” you interrupt. “Thank you for taking care of me, and being so sweet, and nice, and loving. Dunno what I’d do without you, I just- really love you a lot.”

Your eyes widen as you feel the words come out of your mouth with no thought behind them. You can tell Harry holds on his breath as he hears them, opening his mouth slightly but saying nothing.

It’s not like the concept of saying ‘I love you’ to each other is new. You’ve said it plenty of times before. When he brings you a chocolate muffin from the bakery in the corner. When you agree to watch one of his cheesy romcoms for the hundredth time. Or even between rushed whispers as you feel his skin pressed against yours - but those you’ve silently agreed to ignore.

But it’s the way you say it. It comes off of your lips as if your heart just screamed it. It’s not just a thoughtless declaration. It’s a confession.

You swallow hard, feeling your heart speed as you feel like every drop of alcohol has left your bloodstream. “That was probably the worst thing to say right now.”

His hand gives your knee a gentle squeeze, moving up just barely. “‘S really not,” he says just above a whisper. “Y’know I love you too.”

Unlike yours, his words come off clear and gentle, they’re not rushed. You’re not sure what he means behind them, and the thought makes your headache. You glance at his eyes, trying to glimpse his intention, but you only find yourself with more questions than answers.

You don’t know how to respond, blinking at him a few times. “I know,” you say, gazing at your lap.

“Hey,” he calls you, making you look into his eyes,  “let’s talk about it tomorrow, okay?”

You give a small nod at the proposal, smiling weakly at him. He opens his arms inviting you in, to which you don’t think twice before snuggling further into him.

And as the opening scene appears on the screen, you find yourself frowning in deep thought. Wishing you could wake up and erase all this from everyone’s memories. But you can’t. So you simply curl up in his arms, trying to push these thoughts to the back of your mind.

FAQ and Rules for Requests

Since there has been a lot of confusion recently surrounding requests, I'm going to clear everything up here. I may add to this as time goes and the link for this will go in my bio along with my carrd and Masterlist links.

FAQ Portion

How do I know if you got my request?

Chances are if you submitted it, I received it. I take a long time to finish requests, so you may not see it done for several weeks to a month. If I open requests again and your request has not been done, you may feel free to ask the progress or ask if I received it. But please don't pester me.

Are requests open?

Look at my pinned post; there is a thing that says Requests and next to it is the status of them. Currently, they are closed, but I always make sure let you know ahead of time when it will be opening and give 1-2 days to make sure everyone requests before I close it again.

Why do you take so long to finish requests?

There are many reasons but the main one is I am super ADHD. I don't have meds for it, so my time management skills and self regulation are all wacky. This means that I do things randomly and in really short bursts. Motivation is super hard to find and often slips away really quickly. I'm also really busy with work and working on a portfolio for my chosen field. I don't always have the time to be writing.

Do you write for [insert media here]?

Take a look here . If it's not on the list, you may still ask but keep in mind it's almost always definitely going to be a hard no. That list is updated and maintained frequently, so there's no way it will be outdated or not have things I write for on it (there are some exceptions though, I did forget to add Scooby Doo!).

Can I request/DM you my request while requests are closed?

No. I either will refuse to write it and tell you this or simply delete your request and move on with my day.

Is there a list where we can see the requests you still need to finish? Can there/Will there be one?

No. I used to have one but it stressed me out and made me feel like I had to do things in a certain order. As someone whose muse/motivation fluctuates, it's important for me to be flexible and so I don't always do requests in their proper order. I don't want this to be held against me or be accused of favoritism, so there will be no list ever.

Do you do requests in order?

As I said above, no. I do not. I do get every request done but I do what my muse and motivation will allow in the moment. I never want to force myself and make this feel like a chore.

How many people run this blog?

This blog is completely and utterly managed by me, Milo. I am the only one with the password, all of the posts and I read every request/ask personally. At one point, I had a friend helping me handle the load.

Please limit requesting to 1-3 requests per inbox opening and do not make them all the same character! This is just a preference thing but I'd rather not write one person like 7 different Giulia Marcovaldo requests or whatever haha.

Like I said above, do not spam/pester me to finish your request. That will actually demotivate me and I probably will take longer to finish it.

Another preference thing, but if you could add a bit of detail to your requests I would be much obliged. Getting generic requests (ie. Jack Skellington X Reader headcanons) makes it really hard for me to come up with things. I am creative but it's hard to know what you want if you don't specifically tell me. I'm trying to provide the best content for you!

Hope this all cleared some things up! I'm writing this late so if there are any spelling errors, my apologies. I will edit/fix them when I get up in the morning probably. I will probably also add to it as future things come up, so make sure you check back every once in a while for a refresher!

So.. Here’s the thing.. I’ve decided that I’m going to be taking 3 kinds of requests. Those are as follows: Headcanons { filthy, fluffy or themed specifically at your choosing }, fluffy alphabet and filthy alphabet letters. These are the only kinds of request I answer so don’t send me prompts / one shot requests or ideas unless I specifically say otherwise.

Bearing the above in mind, I have some guidelines.

I’m only accepting headcanons (nsfw / fluff / specific theme &/or reader), fluffy or filthy alphabet letters. If you send me one shot ideas or prompts, I’m going to delete them because I don’t do one-shots.

One character per ask. I don’t care how many asks you send. But I ask that you only send one character per ask because that makes things a lot more simple for me.

You can send up to 4 letters in each ask if you’re asking for either version of the alphabet. Be sure to let me know whether you want filth or fluff or a mix of both. IE, you could send me something like this; character name - a, b {filth} & j v {fluff}. I’m not saying your ask has to look exactly like this but it does need to clearly state which version you’re asking for. The format I just did above was just the easiest way that came to mind for me.

The more precise you are with the headcanon requests you send, the better I can tailor them to you. If you just want an overall NSFW headcanon or overall fluff, that’s totally fine. But if you want a specific scenario ( friends to lovers, date night, weddings, the sky is the limit here) you need to tell me that. The same goes for if you want a specific reader (POC, plus size, sick, shy, virgin, imprint, etc) then I need to know that. It’s like I said.. The more specifics you give me, that’s more I have to work from.

As far as headcanons go, the things I won’t write are rape, incest / huge age gaps between reader / character. I’ll only write abuse if someone is getting their just desserts at the hands of character on readers behalf. Any asks containing rape / incest / huge age gaps are going to be deleted.

All asks must come to my inbox. I don’t take requests through DM or in comments on a post. If it helps, my anon is on, so you can request to your hearts content.

If the ask box is closed, this means I’m currently not taking headcanon or fluff/filth alphabet requests. This will also be noted on my blog bio and possibly a post stating why/for how long. Anything sent in after the ask box is closed will either be gotten to the next go around or it’ll be deleted, depending on the situation.

First of all... My content is meant strictly for adults. I do write some things that people underage can safely  read, but that is not always the case. I realize that I can’t stop minors from reading my work, but I can tell you outright that I’d rather you skip over it if you’re underage and it clearly states that it’s not written for anyone underage. Again.. I can’t do anything to stop minors from reading my NSFW content beyond just choosing never to post writing on the internet. And I don’t plan on stopping, so.. yeah.

AKA Anne has an existential crisis. Anon requested “this isn’t you sounds very much like something happens to Anne and she just shuts down...? Maybe Beheaded Cousins?” And I’m happy to oblige. I’m not a big fan of the ending, but I didn’t know how else to tie it together. Not sure what went through my mind when I wrote this, but have it anyway. Sorry for any spelling/grammatical errors, I’m now a war veteran.

Trigger Warnings: Existential crisis, anxiety, cursing

Anne Boleyn was many people. She was the temptress history remembered her as. She was the carefree gremlin that the queens’ show presented her as. She was a woman wrongly beheaded by her vengeful husband. She was the mother of one of England’s greatest monarchs and more. 

Of all things Anne was great at, it was acting. She had been doing it long before her second life, and now it was her profession. There wasn’t a time she wasn’t playing a role and charming someone. And it took a toll on Anne, to the point where she never stopped acting. Even when she went to bed, Anne gave her mirror a charismatic smile and winked, making sure her mask was on. Playing a role was easier than playing herself. 

It was easy to distract historians who came to interview her. Anne was the most well known queen, so she often had solo interviews to deal with from pushy historians. At first it had been a lot to deal with, but Anne had grown used to their invasive questions. They were almost always the same, so she had her prepared answers. They never wanted to know about her opinions or choices, they wanted to know about all the drama and ‘seduction’ she took part in. 

It was Anne’s offday and she had a plethora of interviews scheduled. It wasn’t her chosen way of spending the day, but she needed to get them done anyway. She wasn’t one to turn interviewers away without even meeting them, so she decided to make a day out of it. The first interview wasn’t too bad, actually starting out on a relatively high note. The interviewer was a big fan of the show, and she wanted to know about the dynamics of the queens and what it was like being reincarnated. She made sure Anne knew she didn’t have to answer a question if she was uncomfortable, and Anne was grateful for that. 

The second interview was fine. The historian wasn’t too pushy and seemed generally respectful, but he kept asking questions that dragged up bad memories for Anne. By the time the interview was over, she could feel herself settling into a frustrated mindset. This third interview would not go well, and Anne knew that the second she walked into the small office.

This historian was an old white man with greying hair and ancient glasses. She could already tell he was one of those snobs who would argue that his opinion was fact. But rather than judge him right off the bat, Anne put on her excited persona and gave him the benefit of the doubt. “Hello!” she spoke happily, giving him a dazzling grin.

“Ah yes, Anne Boleyn,” he spoke in a rickety old voice. He pulled down his glasses and gave a smile that seemed to physically pain him. “I’m Director Hoffman, pleasure to meet you.”

“The pleasure’s mine,” Anne replied, shaking his hand. This was the third time she’d gone through the motions today, but she acted as if it was her first.

Director Hoffman leaned back into his seat and sighed. Anne sat in the seat across from his desk and put her hands in her lap. He had a pen and paper in front of him, as if he could record the entire interview by hand. Anne already had a bad feeling growing in the pit of her stomach, but she attempted to stifle it. “Let’s get started, shall we.” Anne nodded silently, waiting for his questions. “What made you go after King Henry VIII?”

Cringing, Anne realized he was jumping right into the thick of it. “Really it was my father. He pushed me to get involved with Henry for power. It wasn’t so much my choice.”

“But,” Hoffman pushed, “that’s not what historical records say. In fact, most everyone agrees that you were highly calculated in your bid to steal the King from his wife.”

Anne clenched her teeth and attempted to stay civil. “Well history tends to be misleading about a lot of things. As someone who lived the experience, I can tell you for a fact that those records were not written with me in mind. They paint Henry as a saint while putting me and his other wives down, painting us as horrible when that wasn’t the reality of it.”

Hoffman didn’t write any of that on his page. “I find that hard to believe,” he stared at Anne. “How is it that this airheaded girl you appear to be broke England from the Church?”

“This might be hard to believe,” Anne’s voice dripped with malice, “but men tend to over exaggerate when they let their dick decide.”

The director’s eyes widened and he grew aghast. “What an improper thing for a lady to say!”

“Freedom of speech,” Anne shrugged. “Another thing we didn’t have back then. All your documents you rely so heavily on, they only say what Henry wanted to hear. It’s all biased.”

Director Hoffman absolutely refused to listen to what Anne was saying. “You, Anne Boleyn,” he practically hissed, “are a disgrace to the historical figure this country remembers. You are a disgrace to Elizabeth and all English monarchs. You should be ashamed of who you are.”

Biting her cheek to keep from screaming, Anne slammed her hands on Hoffman’s desk. The old man leaned away from her, fear creeping in behind his eyes. Restraining herself, Anne stepped back and marched out of the room, not so much as glancing back.

On her way back to the queens’ house, Anne hadn’t lost any of her anger. She couldn’t take it anymore. Everyone telling her who to be when she was already trying to cater to them. She tried and tried and tried and they were never happy with what she gave them. Maybe she was broken.

Storming into the house, Anne didn’t acknowledge any of the other queens. “Anne? Where are you going?” Jane called from the dinner table where all the others queens were conversing with each other.

“Leave me alone,” she said, continuing through the room to get to the stairs.

“Hey, don’t leave Anne,” Aragon told her, standing up. “You should at least come eat.”

Freezing but not turning around, Anne growled, “I don’t want your food, okay?”

Cathy frowned and put her fork down. “Anne, is there something wrong? You can tell us -”

“Nothing’s wrong!” Anne yelled, still staring at the wall. “Or maybe everything’s wrong, I don’t know. But nothing’s changed, so you don’t need to worry. Go back to your food.” And then she left the queens, and shut herself up in her room. 

The other five queens all shared confused glances around the table. “I’ll handle this one,” Kat said, standing up.

“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Anna asked, her eyes flicking to the stairs where Anne had just been. “She doesn’t seem to be in the most forgiving mood.”

“It doesn’t matter,” Kat made her way to the stairs. “She’s my cousin and I’m going to try and help her.” And then she was gone as well, disappearing up the stairs to (hopefully) make Anne feel better.

Muttering, “Godspeed,” Cathy gave the air a small salute.

As Kat traveled up the stairs to Anne’s room, she couldn’t help but hold her breath. Literally anything could be going on with Anne and she had absolutely no grounding with how to deal with it. Still, this was her cousin and she would try her best. “Anne?” Kat knocked on her door. “Can I come in.”

“I can’t stop you,” came Anne’s defeated voice from inside. 

Gently opening the door, Kat made her way to Anne’s bed. The girl in question was lying face down on the bed, her limbs spread out at awkward angles. “Hey Anne… how are you doing.”

Anne scoffed into the bedsheets. “What do you think Kat?”

“I think you’re pretending to be angry to hide that you’re hurting.”

Kat noted the way Anne reacted to her words. She sat up from her position and faced Kat with a defensive glare. “I’m not hiding anything. I’m fine. Good and dandy! Happy fucking Christmas,” Anne snarled, her upper lip starting to curl.

“Do you want to talk about it?” Kat quietly asked, moving closer to her cousin.

Anne pulled away, creating distance between her and Kat. “I don’t need to talk about anything. Why can’t you let that go? Crawl back to Jane and leave me alone.”

A pang of hurt went through Kat, but she brushed it off. Anne didn’t mean it, even if her words still stung. Biting her tongue and glancing down at the floor, Kat summoned up her courage. “This isn’t you Anne.”

Chuckling ruefully, Anne fiddled with her bedsheets. “Was this ever me?” That definitely wasn’t the response Kat was expecting, but she kept quiet as Anne started to unravel. “I’ve never been me, have I?” Her voice started to quiver, a sign that she was holding back tears, or something much worse. “I’m the temptress or I’m the falsely accused. I’m the ditzy stage girl or I’m the chaotic wingman. I’m the slut or I’m the King’s prize. But I’m not me.”

Of all people Kat would think to have an existential crisis, it was not Anne. Her cousin always seemed so confident and sure of herself, but here she seemed so confused and broken down. “Anne, you aren’t defined by just one thing.”

“Then what am I defined by?” Anne shot back, her eyes red. “The documents of history? They’re bullshit,” she spit. “Am I defined by my show persona? It’s seventy-five minutes, that can’t be it, Kat!”

The genuine fear on Anne’s face as she tried to figure out how to define herself frightened Kat. “I know the real you.”

“Do you?” Anne asked, the pleading in her voice real. “Please, tell me who I am, because I can’t take this any longer. I’ve tried so hard to do what they want,” Anne’s voice broke. “And they’re never satisfied.”

Grabbing Anne’s hand and pulling her closer, Kat made sure they were face to face. "You are my cousin. You're loyal and caring and you would kill anyone who looks badly at your friends. You're the life of the party, always encouraging people to be their best self. You are educated and smart, even though you tend to hide it. You're human and you have emotions just like anyone else. You are Anne Boleyn."

Choking back tears, Anne threw herself into Kat’s arms. “What if I can’t be that? What if I’m not who you want me to be?”

“Oh Annie, I don’t want you to be anyone but yourself. No matter who you are, I’ll still love you.” For a moment, Kat thought Jane must’ve been rubbing off on her because of the sudden role reversal. But Kat didn’t mind being the one to comfort her cousin, especially when she needed it so badly. 

Anne flopped back on her bed, taking a giggling Kat with her. “Can you stay with me tonight?” Anne asked, her voice small.

Rolling to the side so she could face her cousin, Kat immediately agreed. “I’d love to stay with you Annie. But we should probably change into pajamas. And you need to eat something for dinner.”

Kat started to get up, but Anne pulled her back down, hugging her tightly. “No, Cousin Cuddles first.”

“Cousin Cuddles are the best cuddles,” Kat mumbled contentedly.

Before they knew it, both cousins had fallen asleep together, safe and sound.

for the record, i have experienced abuse! thanks! i was sexually abused by a 25 y/o man at the tender age of 14. when i got into college, i very quickly got stuck in an emotionally, verbally, and physically abusive relationship for over a year. i know what abuse looks and feels like. let’s try to hold back on making assumptions about people just because you don’t like a post they made. it’s common courtesy.

furthermore, i said that people are allowed to view harringrove as an abusive ship. they’re allowed to dislike the ship for that very reason. they’re even allowed to talk about it being abusive, if they so choose. in their OWN PERSONAL SPACE. the problem arises when these people try to force their viewpoint on everyone else, unprompted. no one has to see anything the way you do. this is FANDOM, it’s FICTION, and not only that, but everyone’s perceptions are different. when you start leaving your own space to infringe on other people’s spaces with your opinions that no one asked for, that’s when we have an issue. i, an abuse victim, do not see harringrove as an abusive ship. i never will. no amount of throwing your beliefs about it in my face will change that. you’re well within your rights to believe otherwise. just stop trying to force everyone around you to believe it, too.

(oh, and as a sidenote, most of the people fueling this discourse and harassing other people over it are not marking their statements with trigger warnings. they’re literally posting novel-length replies about abuse without any sort of caution. but that’s no big, right? as long as you get your shitty point across, it’s all fine and dandy.)

my point is: leave people alone. including me. this is the last one of these kinds of asks that i’m ever answering. they don’t hurt me the way they hurt others, so i’ve taken a lot of shit and laughed about it, because honestly the shit y’all say is ridiculous. but this topic is important to me, so i feel that it should be answered. still, it’s important to set boundaries. so i’m setting them. get out of my inbox, get out of other people’s inboxes. i am a person too.

i hope this helps you feel sufficiently ashamed, because you very well should be ashamed of yourself for harassing strangers on the internet and accusing them of shit you could never know anything about, because you don’t know me personally. don’t pretend to, you don’t have insight into my life just because you see some of my personal posts. it’s honestly weird, and you kind of fucking suck.
