He absolutely did. And as Kíli got older, he started to return the favour.

I think, both of them have each other's back, though in different ways.

Kíli strikes me as a rather impulsive person, which gets him into plenty of trouble, like accidently breaking stuff or getting into altercations. Fíli probably saves his brother's butt by discreetly fixing the issues. Since he is more mature and doesn't cause much trouble, he likely gets away with more things than his brother and so it's only logical for him to take the blame from time to time, for example the one time Kíli broke their uncle's axe. He also caught more than once a black eye or split lip to help Kíli out, when he offended the wrong group of people.

Kíli, on the other hand, knows his brother well and is the first to notice, when Fíli gets overwhelmed by his duties as a heir, and so he helps his brother sneaking out from time to time, or even causes trouble on purpose to give him a brief respite. Like the one time Fíli was supposed to lead for the first time during a field manoeuvre and everything (like the weather and such) worked against him in such an extent that he was completely out of his depth. And so Kíli's pony "accidently" ran away and the whole manoeuvre had to be paused, until they managed to recapture the beast, while Fíli had a moment to collect himself. Kíli got a major bollocking, but didn't mind too much.

They take great care of each other and everyone, especially their mother and uncle know that it is futile to try and find out, who exactly caused trouble and why, because Kíli will keep his mouth shut under all circumstances, while Fíli whips out his inner lawyer and debates long enough that Thorin's head is swimming in the end.

At one point Dís and Thorin just let the lads do their thing, knowing that Fíli will keep them out of trouble and Kíli will keep Fíli from getting too stressed out by his duties, and in the end it all works out.

The last few months— the last year, really— had been rough on everyone, but things were improving. It was good to have everyone together like this again, in a backyard, surrounded by the smell of grilling meat and the sound of laughing children. And there was so much to celebrate, too.

Baby Han was growing more and more each day, and Jee was taking so well to being a big sister. Maddie was doing well, having open and honest conversations with Chimney and her doctors about how she was feeling and it wasn't anything like how she was after Jee-Yun was born.

Mara was officially part of the Wilson family, and the grin had hardly left her face since they left the courthouse after her adoption. The knowledge that she was home and never had to leave again—could never be made to leave again— settling something deep within her, putting to rest a lot of her worries and fears after everything that had happened with Councilwoman Ortiz.

Athena was smiling more often, accepting more dinner invitations. She wasn't her old self again, but no one expected her to be. They just didn't want to lose touch with her, and Buck especially didn't want her to be alone.

And, of course, they were celebrating the newly promoted Captain of the 118.

But the happiest thing, the thing that was the most important, the thing that Buck wanted to shout from the rooftops, was that he and Tommy had sat down and talked about their fears, their pasts and baggage, their expectations for their relationship and the future and had gotten back together. They were on the same page and fully committed to both each other and to doing the work to make their relationship last.

Buck is in the middle of telling Ravi a story when Tommy comes up next to him, crowding in close and resting a hand on his hip. He presses a quick kiss to Buck's cheek in greeting before he presses carefully assembled plate of food into his hand.

"Thanks, babe." Buck says to Tommy with a grin and a kiss to the cheek, before turning back to his conversation with Ravi, now embellishing and emphasizing with his fork. Tommy has to dodge the occasional bit of food when Buck gets too excited in the middle of taking a bite and waves the fork around before it gets to his mouth.

He's a warm, steady presence at Buck's side, interjecting when there's an opportunity but largely letting Buck steer the conversation. Buck is so overjoyed that he gets to have this, Tommy at his side, his family all around him. It's different than it was last year in a lot of ways, but for the first time in a long time he's truly content.

Ravi's drink runs out and Tommy offers to get him a new one, because he also needed a drink and 'do you need anything, Evan?'. Buck does, and he watches as Tommy makes his way across the yard to the coolers, chatting briefly when he's stopped, but he doesn't take too long, pointing over at Buck and Ravi with an apologetic expression on his face. He comes back with bottle of water for himself and beers for Buck and Ravi, opening them before handing them out like the gentleman that he is. Buck gives him a kiss in thanks.

"Thanks man, but I'm not going to kiss you. You're not my type and also I like my ankles the way they are." Ravi says, and Tommy chuckles, laughing even harder when he sees the pout on Buck's face. He kisses the pout away and Buck decides to forgive him, he did bring him food and a beer, after all. Ravi tells them that they're gross, and then asks Tommy to clarify something that Buck had said while he was gone, because he didn't believe that Buck was telling the truth, which, rude!

Tommy obliges, crowding into Buck's side again, but rests his hand at the small of his back instead of his hip. He rubs his thumb up and down while he tells Ravi a story from when he first started at Harbor.

Buck finds that this beer is making him pleasantly buzzed, and he finds himself leaning towards Tommy, just wanting to be close to him. Tommy takes his weight without a word, easily carrying the conversation with Ravi, and runs his fingers up and down his back, right on top of his spine. Buck finds himself going even more boneless and sighs to himself, happy to be here with his family and the man he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

They're both extremely social, Ruth being especially high energy, and they are both passionate workaholics that keep busy 24/7. They're good loving moms but you can easily guess why Flea peaced out and decided to go to uni all the way in Vibe City - they can be very intense to live with.

The album Que Pasa by Babe Ruth is the inspiration for their sound and design. I own a CD of it and love blasting it when I'm alone. 💃

oh geeze, thanks! 💚💚💚 I'm really glad people enjoy my stupid sense of humor; mostly I just draw things to make myself laugh, and if it makes other people laugh too, then bonus points! usually it's just one joke or mental image that gets stuck in my head (every time I saw Fellow spin his cane, all I could think about was him go-go-gadgeting away on it...) and in my quest to justify it, it picks up other jokes and bits along the way and usually doesn't even end up as the main focus anymore. entire narrative arcs have spun out just so I could use a single bad pun in a throwaway line. this is a terrible way to explain it but I'm not sure how else to put it into words!

and sometimes it's just "weird things my sister has said that I make fun of her for"

obsessed with the fact that if you choose the last purple option in lucanis' romance chat before going off to tearstone island ("they MOVED the MOON!!!" still in the running for the best delivery in the whole game btw it's so ineffably hilarious to me), it's rook who flinches away just a little bit (if still warmly <3) and tries to change the topic and lucanis who's steady even though he's clearly still so afraid. 'don't tempt fate'/'*the softest fucking voice you've ever heard in your entire life* I don't intend to'. pain and suffering

lucanis looking at rook and helplessly, with a wonder that verges on despair, saying 'what would I do without you?' is soooo. especially at that point in the relationship and with what's about to happen. and for whatever reason rook can't quite stay with the fact that they do mean that much to someone, that they are so reverently and so groundingly 'I want to know what your favourite food is so I can make it for you any time you want it' everyday loved, it's too much and they have to deflect from it or the fear of losing it. can say some very interesting things about them, too.

(there is also a Pattern in that in my estimation lucanis frequently responds better to inviting humour than to earnest shows of concern -- it seems to help him be more engaged/online to be offered that more neutral space to meet you in and uh 'build' the conversation around something funny together than to be confronted with compassion head-on because that clearly mostly deer-in-the-headlights him, as we also see with some of the early flirt options haha. contrast this especially with bellara, who repeatedly gets genuinely upset if you try to make light of some pressing and painful situation she's dealing with (girl I'm so sorry I'm so jestercore and I canot change this but I'll try :'( for you). I think the times lucanis reacts negatively to the purple options are much more about you siding with other (frequently more charismatic lol) people against him or throwing him under the bus interpersonally -- like seeming to go along with illario's charm offensives, or telling teia lucanis didn't want to come help out with caterina's funeral and he'd just sit alone and brood about it if you didn't force him (???!!! hello??? unprovoked and deeply unkind out of left field???? this option is so fucking MEAN and for what fhdaskjfa you're telling me there's no way for rook to be a bit of a dick in this game?)

when it's one on one conversation he consistently seems to find it quite comforting, though... which makes a lot of sense because in many ways it's how he interacts with illario, just shorn of the resentments and hidden daggers and things they Do Not Talk About but really should beneath the levity that makes it sharp. it's gone ugly between them, but I think the affectionate instinct beneath is real and goes back a long way before all of that festered -- it's a form of play he does with people he loves. and uh. not really caterina huh. notably.)

Hi Shuu!! ✨🐿 What a fun question!! I never really sat down to think about what Mayu'd wear outside of the NRC uniform, so I spent a couple days browsing and selecting clothes on several sites (hence me taking so long to answer this 😭) and came up with a few outfits ⬇

I think she generally gravitates towards comfy and practical styles! In addition to the stuff I drew above, she also likes big jackets and cardigans - kinda very "girl next door" vibes? Berets and capes also look really cute on her imo, you can see it on her chibi in this post. I really need to draw it some time, but if she could fully customize the NRC uniform she'd totally add a cape to it ww

In terms of accessories, she doesn't really wear them often! Maybe the occasional bracelet or necklace if it matches the outfit (or hair accessory if she styles her hair), but usually she doesn't have any.

Also how would Leo do in more populated areas similar to Senior Hueso’s place Run of the Mill? Would he be nervous or none the wiser about it?

And I have a lot of thoughts on Hueso!! I like to think that after the invasion attempt, and after Hueso learns what happened... He'll be dealing with his own grief too. After all, Leo was the guy who not only helped cleared his name and got him off the Hidden City's Most Wanted list, but he was also the guy who helped him reconnect with his estranged criminal brother AND helped him with local crime bosses who threatened the peace of his restaurant.

Whether intentional or not, and while it had been a lot of trouble at the time, Leo's actions had impacted Hueso's life drastically for the better. And when he hears what Leo did... Learns that he's gone... He'll be devastated. But more importantly, Leo's brothers were beyond hurt-- and they needed help more than ever before. Hueso knows how important Leo's brothers were to him, even if it had been a passing comment at the time of one of their adventures. After the invasion attempt, Hueso becomes one of the adult figures who turns his attention towards the children who saved the world... and needed the emotional support in the aftermath.

That being said, I purposefully made nods to Hueso at the ofrenda because I love to believe he helped the boys build it. Offering what little comfort he could in giving Mikey, Raph, Donnie, and everyone else, and a means of expressing grief. I sincerely believe that after the invasion attempt, the Hamatos were more than just customers to Hueso now. He'd always give them the care they deserved whenever they visited, though that was somewhat rare after the invasion. (I also like to think he'd catch Mikey at the ofrenda at times and send him home with special pizza pies.)

Though in Rise fashion it would be absolutely comical if Leo just. Showed up one day and scared the crap out of Hueso-- but I'd think that the boys would give Hueso a heads up prior to coming. (The emotional pain of Hueso being told but not believing until he sees Leo is far more delicious to me hehe)

As for how Leo would feel in a more populated place? well. hehe. ;3c
