Do you know when those narratives of bighit using jikook to cover up taekook started? I remember in my baby army days (early-mid 2017 ish) those narratives were already around but there were no specific ships accused of being used as a "cover up". It was just "taekook interactions were cut from aired footage" or "bighit doesn't allow taekook to be next to each other in official content to protect them". For context i'm a returning fan, i fell out with bangtan back in 2020 because life got too busy, now i'm back and suddenly i see taekookers saying jikook is a cover up for taekook 😅 it might have been a regional fanbase thing since baby army me didn't specifically engage with the west side of the fandom but rather south east asia?
I've always been a jikooker (for fun at the beginning since i liked their vocals together, then mr jeon jk dropped the bombshell that is gcft and i was gagged) but i used to watch a lot of taekook theories, which was how i came across that company covers taekook narrative. I know jikook has always been a sensitive subject in the fandom but i learned just recently how bad it has gotten over the years. AYS?! and their military enlistment really got fire under people's seats.
Hi anon.
As someone who’s been in this fandom for a while, I’d say those narratives really started gaining traction around 2017, especially after GCFT.
You see, in the early days, Jikook as a ship barely existed. The most popular pairings were Taekook and Namjin, and to a lesser extent, Vmin and Yoonmin. Jikook hardly got any attention. Taekook had a lot of cute and playful moments…they were always seen goofing around, being mischievous, and just having a lighthearted bond. In contrast, not many people paid attention to Jimin and Jungkook’s interactions, partly because their dynamic didn’t always appear as wholesome or easygoing as Taekook’s. Naturally, many fans gravitated toward Taekook because it was more digestible, more heartwarming, and lacked that sense of emotional push and pull which people just looking for an escape from the real world weren’t ready to deal with.
Now, as is typical in fan culture, people tend to ship characters they enjoy seeing together regardless of whether they believe anything romantic is truly happening. That’s what happened with Taekook. They were the two youngest members with an adorable bond, and since romantic love is often wrongly seen as the highest form of love, everything had to be framed as romance. Taekook quickly became BTS’s biggest ship.
Fast forward to around 2016, and there was a noticeable shift….Taekook weren’t being seen together in content as much, and when they were, something felt different. Around this time, many people claimed there was suddenly a rise in Jikook content, but that’s not entirely true. Jikook had always been there. It’s just that their moments were overlooked because Taekook’s interactions dominated the spotlight. As the members matured, Jikook’s bond also evolved from roughhousing and teasing to something much softer and more emotionally grounded. Naturally, people began to take notice. But what really changed the game was Jungkook’s GCFT.
Once GCFT dropped, it became impossible to ignore Jikook. Even those who hadn’t paid much attention started to see the dynamic between them. And because Taekook was the most famous and widely accepted ship at the time, this shift was something many Taekookers couldn’t handle. To make sense of it…and to keep believing in their preferred narrative, they latched onto the only explanation that fit their perspective: the company was using Jikook to cover up Taekook.
These narratives began circulating around 2017. While I can’t say for sure who started them, there’s no doubt that Taekook-lives played a major role in making them widespread. Taekookers were desperate to explain why Jungkook was suddenly doing so much with Jimin even though they had long believed that the person he truly loved was Taehyung. So when someone came along offering an explanation that allowed them to maintain that belief, they clung to it no matter how absurd it sounded. Many had formed a deep emotional attachment to the fantasy of Taekook, and they weren’t ready to let it go.
As with most things in life, if you look hard enough for proof of something, you’ll find it. There are plenty of instances where interactions between members get cut and there are a number of plausible reasons for that. Coincidences, editing choices, off-camera behavior that couldn’t be aired… the list goes on. But Taekookers were looking for confirmation, so Taekook-lives began combing through content, cherry-picking any moments that supported the idea of Taekook being “separated.” She ignored the fact that every member pairing has had moments like that, and since no one else was compiling those kinds of edits for other ships, it created the illusion that only Taekook were being “targeted” by the company….even when the so-called cuts made no sense at all.
As people consumed these long, dramatized YouTube videos titled “Taekook Being Separated by Bighit” or similar misleading content, they developed a kind of protective instinct. They truly began to believe Taekook were being oppressed and that belief gave them a cause to fight for. When people feel like they’re defending something pure and hidden, especially in the face of adversity, it creates a kind of loyalty and determination that’s hard to break. That’s how the group kept growing. And this also explains why so many Taekookers developed such strong animosity toward Jimin. In their eyes, he became the villain…a bad friend to Taehyung….because they believed he was helping the company keep Taekook apart without caring how his actions hurt Taehyung.
In short, these narratives gained traction in 2017 because many Taekookers couldn’t accept that human relationships are complex. Sometimes, people drift apart…because of age, life changes, or evolving circumstances….and form deeper bonds with others. But instead of acknowledging that, they created a storyline where the company was forcibly separating Taekook and using Jikook as a smokescreen.
Because in their world, Taekook couldn’t have naturally grown apart. No…..it just had to be sabotage.

The Sewer Squad's designs are fine, actually
If you ask me, the Sewer Squad from KHUX are a really great visual example of Kingdom Hearts' approach to writing and design.
That approach being: it's fine to make design and writing decisions that come across as silly, campy, unbelievable, or "cringey" if those choices are meaningful in context and contribute something significant to the story.
Tumblr media
On the whole, the Sewer Squad are a mess of character designs. Minus the Leader who just kinda looks like a normal character tbh, the remaining 3/4ths of the group don't look particularly cohesive or even...aesthetically pleasing? At least for me. If you were to judge these designs purely on a visual and technical level, using commonly accepted character design guidelines, I personally don't think they would score very high.
Function has been thrown out the window with their accessories, with a lot of said accessories looking either bulky, heavy, face/movement obstructing, or just plain uncomfortable, despite them presumably fighting Heartless on the daily.
Color palettes are all over the place, especially with the Gummi Girl who's sporting three different hues of pink all conflicting in one design. Themeing is likewise all over the place—using the Gummi Girl once again as an example, she's pairing futuristic Gummi ship wings with a ninja outfit and a modern-looking frog hat. Which like, normally you can marry vastly different themes/time periods together into one character design just fine if you do it well, but here these elements are just kinda pasted all over the design separately with no blending/discussion between them. (Yes I know this makes perfect sense given the lore; I'm getting there.)
And then characters like Fancy Bowtie Boy are wearing gimmick-y clothing pieces based off of canon characters, such as Ansem SoD and...Halloween Town Goofy, for some reason. Which makes the design look derivative and nonsensical. (There's a way to justify this in canon thanks to the Book of Prophecies and the medals, but it's still kinda weird and offputting to see one of the Big Bad's gloves on a silly side character.)
It also doesn't help that their outfits/hair/facial features weren't designed specifically with them in mind, and instead are comprised of various disparate, pre-existing Player assets slapped together haphazardly. And not being able to give these characters more thoughtful, bespoke design elements means losing the opportuntiy to communicate who these characters are more precisely.
They do have recognizable silhouettes though (along with some much needed diversity), so I'll give them credit for that.
But, everything I just said and criticized above? THAT'S ENTIRELY THE POINT, BABY!!!
They're not supposed to represent a typical character with a typical character design that follows typical character design rules because they're not typical "characters"—rather, they're supposed to represent the average, real-life players playing KHUX. The people who buy random outfits with whatever Jewels they have and then mix and match the pieces together regardless of whether or not they actually look "good" together or logically connect. The people who are just having fun with customization.
And this distinction is meaningful because the whole idea behind these characters is that they belong to the same party that the Player belongs to. They're not like Player's other friends such as Ephemer and Skuld who are main characters in the plot and thus require more visually pleasing and thought-out character designs; they're not "generic" NPCs that Player runs into only once or twice like the "my friends aren't my power" guy who can just wear one of the basic default outfits and it'll serve its purpose just fine; they are, specifically, Player's fellow party members. And if the Player themself is wearing a silly costume too, well, they'll just fit right in with the Sewer Squad, won't they?
Thus, they're meant to mirror the visuals and dynamics of real KHUX parties comprised of real people, hopefully making it easier for the person playing the game to relate to them (if said person belongs to a party themself) and intuitively understand the role these characters play in Player's life. And despite how unrealistic their outfits are (considering most of them are running around fighting in outrageous, cumbersome costumes), I would argue that their closer resemblance to the actual playerbase gives them the potential to feel more real, paradoxically.
This also just demonstrates KHUX's commitment to its story and gameplay integration. It doesn't matter how "silly" a gameplay feature might look or feel in practice, it is going to be properly represented in the story regardless. Lux, Guilt, Power Bangles, Spirits, Shift Pride, player costumes, it doesn't matter, if it's a part of the gameplay, it's going in the story somewhere. The game takes a risk and trades a little bit of immersion/suspension of disbelief for pure gameplay and story synergy. Perhaps it doesn't work for everybody, but in general it works for me, and I respect it.

An Open Letter to the BSD Fandom
Long post incoming. TL;DR: fuck fandom bullying. Full stop.
Fellow BSDers,
I have been writing for the BSD fandom since August 2021, where I started to write my way out of my big traumas. Somehow, with one image in my head, I started the CAU with A Drop of Black Coffee in the Pot. I'm not entirely sure if that makes me a "big name" in the fandom or whether that gives what I'm about to say more "clout," but hey... it's worth a shot, yeah? Because maybe people will listen.
Maybe.
Since coming into this fandom, I've made a lot of friends through Discord, and I have had a blast creating for, with, and among them. Through Discord, I became a rare pair aficionado and gained a soft spot for Chuuatsu, ChuuRan, and others. The conversations I had with fans, in short, brought me more than peace from my traumas. I found myself among a community who, through shared interests in pretty anime characters based on historical authors, held me up as I faced more traumas, enjoyed more successes, and just... lived.
HOWEVER (emphasis), in the last year or so, three of who I would consider my closest Discord friends--three people I care deeply about--have been bullied out of the fandom for their unconventional ships or portrayal of characters or preference for dead dove content, and two more have been targets of cyberbullying.
In one case, I was also targeted by Dazai Anon (one of the cyberbullies mentioned above). My response to this is always simple: I laugh at the death threats because I'm already dead inside, I delete the comments, I block the posts, and I keep writing what brings me joy. Sometimes, that's ChuuAtsu. Sometimes, that's a more popular ship. And in all cases, that's totally fine.
But that's me. And not everyone is like me.
I've written this post a dozen times in my head. I contemplated, as the "adult" in the room, putting everyone in timeout or putting on my disappointed parent face. But instead, I settled on this.
BSD fandom, respectfully, what the actual fuck?
Let me be perfectly clear: there is no good reason to ever bully anyone, but ships, tropes, character preferences and readings? These are among the worst. And don't even get me started on what's "canon."
What I guess I'm really trying to say is this: the three people I know who stopped making BSD content did because certain members of the community took their fun away. And that's never okay. There is room in the fandom for the main ships and the rarepairs. There's room for the fluffmongers, angst fiends, and dead dove aficionados. In fact, many of the friends I mention write content I personally don't, nor do they tend to write fluff and explicit consent the way I tend to, but guess what? We appreciate each other's art. We share ideas. We hold each other up. And, most of all, we're friends, anyway.
So if I'm in any place to ask this fandom for anything, it's to keep your own space as a writer/creator without taking someone else's space away. It's to have fun creating content SKK, but stop taking fun away from the people who create DaRan or DazAtsu or KuniDazai or Kouyou x Dazai or whatever ship. Most important, be kind to one another, regardless of what characters, tropes, or ships we love because at the end of the day, we're not just pseuds or creators; behind the screen, we're human.
As people, I don't think we have anything to lose in this. We can still work around tags and tropes and ships and characters we don't enjoy. Plus, who knows? You might make a new friend, gain new perspective on a character dynamic you never thought about, exchange ideas and share excitement about the newest manga chapter... and that might bring joy to both of you.
I really hope this letter to be the start of something bigger, maybe something that will move through boundaries between fan communities. I've thought about events, challenges, movements... but my limited resources as a creator with 99 mental health issues mean that for now, those ideas will have to wait. This letter, inadequate as it feels, still says most of what I want it to say.
I often say I appreciate people taking the time to read my fics. I mean that for this letter, too. So thank you, truly.
And as always, don't forget to drink water.
Until my next update,
ChaoticQuill

tbh there's also something a loooot of ppl need to learn calling "setting realistic expectations." i personally wouldn't want eddie back without an on-screen conversation between him and CHRIS about what CHRIS wants, otherwise his entire plot in texas would feel kinda moot with a throwaway "yeah chris is fine with coming back to LA :)" since this plot was big enough for eddie to drop everything to go finally make things right with his son. i didn't expect for him to show up for the two-parter. meanwhile, everyone i saw who was momentarily disappointed bc no tommy was like "ah well, we know we're almost definitely getting him next episode bc of leaks" and went on to enjoy the episode as a whole
its genuinely fine to go "aw no eddie? :(" its Not fine to review bomb an episode and repeatedly bitch about the director not putting ur favorite man in the episode when it makes 0 sense for him to come back so quickly and without showing us that he IS still working on being a better dad to chris. hell, go write fanfic about it where eddie IS back instead of review bombing!!! that's probably a way more fun use of time than review bombing!!!
honestly, these fans make me dislike eddie more and more ngl which isn't even the actor or the writers faults at all. if he leaves the show then it's not going to impact me that much unless his ending is fully unsatisfying, and that'll be more of a "cmon, writers, you knew this was where this was going, do better." i have never watched the show only for eddie like these people have. came into the show expecting to love madney + henren and ended up very emotionally invested in bathena while enjoying buck and eddie as well. i'm on the same page as a lot of ppl who have been here longer than i have been: we love the entire show rather than just eddie. honestly, i think half of these people don't even like buck. i already know most of them don't give a shit about the rest of the show from insulting ravi over him distracting buck with tommy to turning josh into the "number 1 b*ddie cheerleader" to ignoring henren unless they can use them as a "gotcha!!! you don't actually care about queer rep!!!" like.
@ BoBs: do YOU? because every time there's queer rep that threatens ur fanon ship, u actively get homophobic about it down to, what, 600? of you PROUDLY admitting you would commit a hate crime to make your stupid ship canon--including both real men and fictional characters like josh and tommy in your "i'd hate crime for them teehee!" bullshit.
idk queso its just wild to me how often i also see the "eddie diaz pretty pretty princess who wants to paint his nails!!!" like. painting ur nails isnt gendered, the fuck? BoBs see anyone gender non-conforming and goes "wow, inherent sign of queerness, i am very smart :)" while feeding directly into toxic masculinity with the idea that if you don't adhere strictly to what's deemed masculine, then clearly you're queer. even if you say you're straight and know you're attracted to women and only women, you're gay because you (checks notes) have emotions and cry over your friends and did ballroom dancing when you were younger.
anyway if im being petty then i kinda hope that eddie leaves to focus fully on chris and making a life for the two of them in el paso and ravi takes his place on the team so that we get indian rep permanently on the show for a bit! i think he could bring some new life into the team (regardless of whether the show goes on for one season or more) and it'd be nice to see buck in a mentor position to him. plus i'd love to see his dynamic with the rest of the team <3 i am still available to play his love interest who is there for a single episode before being relegated to one-off mentions <3 /hj
Yes to alllllll of this, Annie!!!
What's ironic to me, based on something you mentioned, is the nail painting. They want sooooo hard for RG to actually be gay yet an actor who does paint his nails (for self-harm reasons) they call a slur and tell him to die.
Like???? Wtf are we doing???
(I know your ask is about the characters but that shit will always rub me the wrong way about Ryan stans)

Top 3 ships and why? -c.d.
The top 3 is too little... uhh holy moly, I need to remember what ships I love THAT much.
In no particular order—
1. Jazzchet (Jazz x Ratchet)
This is probably been talked about before, but their hypothetical dynamic between them both is extremely interesting and fascinating to me. That's part of what got me into the realm of rarepairs, to be honest. A mutual of mine mentioned how Jazz could show Ratchet how to unwind and enjoy the wonders of music, and honestly, it's just really soft to think about.
2. Simpatico (Brainstorm x Perceptor)
Ohhh, their dynamic is both comedic and sweet if you think about it. I'm not sure how I could accurately phrase it into words, but in a way, they understand one another. Despite their vastly different personalities, they can work together. It seems almost... unexpected? But their dynamic is fun to explore further. Regardless, their duo works and is surprisingly cute. Simpatico? Simpatico.
3. Jazzterwave (Jazz x Blaster x Soundwave)
Damn you, Tumblr artists... I mean— they have a very nice dynamic together. Plus, they're all related to music. Bickering aside, I think the trio has a really cute dynamic being together, whether it's platonic or romantic. The posts I've seen of the three have been absolutely adorable or funny. It's a bit hard for me not to like the ship with that said.
EXTRA 4. Fort Max x Therapy
Truly the best pairing in Transformers.

Shipping in the Loki Fandom
alright so I’ve seen a lot of posts and… I have some thoughts.
please read the whole post before getting mad at me, and if you do get mad at me, go outside. I can’t help you.
okay so, I’m sorry but. people saying they won’t watch the show unless lokius becomes canon??? guys it’s not going to be canon, and it’s fine. I’d love to be wrong about that, but. the prospect of a ship becoming canon is not what’s fun about shipping in any fandom.
please can we take off the tumblr lens of shipping being the most important part of every media and focus on the story this show is telling? loki said himself that his biggest priority is his friends. that’s canon!! and that’s super important for him and how far he’s come as a character!!
like don’t get me wrong, I ship lokius with my whole self. but the part that’s fun about shipping them, for me, is the fandom community and the art I’ve been making, NOT the hope that they’ll get into a romantic relationship onscreen, and I think people need to take a step back 🤷‍♂️
yes, it’s fun to point at the lingering glances and touches and heartfelt conversations and comfortable dynamic and say “they love each other”. they DO love each other. people working on the show (tom himself) have acknowledged that! whether it’s romantic or platonic doesn’t actually matter. but I’m obviously not going to beg anyone to watch the show. don’t watch it if you don’t want to! just remember that the point of this show has never been romance!
but regardless of that, can sylki shippers stop calling us “delusional” for participating in the fandom in ways we enjoy??
and can we acknowledge that the story means something apart from who we want Tom Hiddleston to kiss???
and keep your shipping hate off this post, please! and don’t put words in my mouth. if you disagree with me, feel free to tell me why (after which I will likely again encourage you to spend some time offline)

henriam, payjay, fanbulb, testbulb and t.......tickle... GO!!!!!!!!!!! 🫵🫵🫵🫵🫵🫵
Tumblr media
I feel like this is pretty self-explanatory, I love them whether it's in a crackship way or in the genuine ship way or platonically or even queer-platonically / a secret fourth way. You can never go wrong with Henriam fr — I've never seen a dynamic where a duo are so in sync in CANON, (*cough cough* literally finishing each other's thoughts in one of the earlier episodes...) unless you're talking about me and @misiahasahardname [proud]
Fun headcanon (I'm doing this for every free space because I can and no one can stop me): They visit each other's homes so often that their parents probably don't even bat an eye and maybe even have designated mugs, slippers, etc. for when the other visits (inspired by AGGGTM's Cara and Pip except these two are NOT like brothers)
Tumblr media
Payjay's pretty cute, and I genuinely do like it even tho it doesn't occupy my mind all that often (tbh most II ships don't... sorry y'all 😭). But yeah I do love myself these two sillies who have been through quite a bit together, and the Payjay EPIC AU absolutely rocks <3
Fun headcanon: Museum dates for them to relax. That's all I have to say about them.
Tumblr media
I don't have much to say about Fanbulb tbh, they're cute and I can get behind them and I can actually be normal about them, regardless of the type of dynamic they share. <3
Fun headcanon: Probably have a fun get-together every couple of days-a week specifically dedicated to rambling and/or presenting detailed powerpoints about whatever interest they get really into, in my mind.
Tumblr media
Again, I don't have too much to say about them, sorry Misia </3 They're genuinely adorable and tho I ship them casually, they're really wholesome, so I get why you love them
Fun headcanon: I feel like they'd propose at the same time, but I just get the vibe that Lightbulb would propose with some sort of necklace because it's more practical and Test Tube goes with a ring (both, ofc, being more than suitable for the other)... Just a gut feeling. I hope that's something good to think about-
Tumblr media
They're cutie patooties, and their ship name more than highlights that whimsy, what can I say? (It's Taco/Pickle from II in case no one else got it 😔) I ship them in the "they were exes" type of way, but I definitely wouldn't complain if they made up as long as it was handled correctly... Ik people tend to see the two as a gay man/lesbian duo and I definitely respect that and can see it, but yeah, Tickle just um... tickled my fancy is a fun ship for me <3
Fun headcanon: Would've probably made picnic dates an ongoing tradition had they not completely broken down in terms of their relationship (and yes, there would've been flower crowns, I won't take any other arguments). Key word: would've. :)
Anywayyyyyys PLEASE feel free to send me more ships for this (template will be added below)

Just saw your post and I was wondering how you would write any of your ships confessing. Like how would they realise they're in love? How would they tell the other?
I'm about to go on a Long Rant so, bear with me !
- Jegulus, for me these two had to build a sense of trust and friendship before confessing their feelings. James has a bad history with coming off too strong and Regulus' insecurities make it hard for him to jump headfirst into anything without overthinking it. So regardless of how smitten they are with each other, they start off slow and gentle, work their way up to stealing glances and touches and feeling hopeful about their feelings being reciprocated, and then they'll have a chat about it, confess in the astronomy tower while stargazing and sharing the softest of kisses (can you tell I'm obsessed with them?)
- for Wolfstar, I am a firm believer in them falling in love at first sight, but not being able to pinpoint the feeling due to their young age. So the moment they start to understand what causes their hearts to beat harder when they're too close or why they simply can't take their eyes oof of each other, they are a tangle of limbs and would confess after a steamy makeout session. I also like the friends with benefits to lovers trope, especially when it's Remus pining and Sirius not realizing how in love he is. But overall I'm a firm believer in Sirius confessing the SECOND it makes sense to him. He's just not the type to think it through beforehand.
- Dorlene 🥰🥰🥰 I love the rivals to lovers trope with them. Whether it's quidditch or school, both of them are too talented and too brilliant, and confuse the excitement they feel around each other with a competitive streak. Up until the moment one of them is dating someone else, and the bitterness and jealousy they feel is too distinct to be mistaken for anything else. Cue the pining, then hopefully the kissing and dating because for me, they are made for each other in every possible way.
-Rosekiller are friends with benefits. They are both too unhinged to start it off in any other way. They're paired up on their first year with Regulus, becoming instant friends, wreaking havoc together. Then they start to grow and discover themselves, and nobody is better for them than each other. But after years of them fooling around without feeling the need to date or sleep with anyone else, they figure out that they're basically dating already, and they just settle into it more comfortably.
- For lily, I see her as a lesbian, but I'm still discovering whether I prefer her dynamic with Pandora or Mary. Maybe both. But yeah, I don't really have any specific thoughts about it yet.
And that's it !!! This was very fun to do, so thank you for this ask 🥰🥰

Why is Angie your favourite character?
This is really funny I just got off call with Glownary and was talking about how much I don't miss Danganronpa discourse. Anyway I hope someone finds a way to get mad at me in this post!
((Admittedly I'd probably actually place Korekiyo above her because he ACTUALLY has a relevant and specified canon story,,, but, y'kno))
Plain and simple, she just has a handful of design and character tropes I super adore in characters! As a base, I'm usually not super into,,, well-adjusted, well-liked , reasonable, and rational characters. LMAO. They're fine but I live for exaggeration. I LOVE when they're little freaks and not watered down at all for the viewers sake/comfort, I love when they (both the writers and the written) just keep twisting the knife for no good reason other than the bit despite how unconventional it may be.
One could argue that her not being watered down and being as shitty to the other players as she is is a trauma response, or just a mentally ill person being mentally ill. It can be neat to think of her that way sometimes! It's of my opinion that almost all Danganronpa characters are super open-ended lore/personality-wise and we as fans are just making up canon as we go because it's FUCKING FUN, and, as such, all the ways that Angie can be interpreted is very interesting to me-- EVEN if that's seen as "the irredeemable annoying religion-force-feeding zealot antagonist." Which is, of course, an objectively awful way to view anyone REGARDLESS of media illiteracy, but, you know! I like weird freaks so this "flaw" they see is simply more food for me. Yippee!!
Whether I think she's canonically A) genuinely malicious and sadistic, B) traumatized from an abusive religious sect, C) honestly caring about the other players, and/or D) none/all of the above? I'll never tell! Oops all bangers!
Tropes I enjoy, whether or not I found myself enjoying them BECAUSE of Angie herself;;
Religion, especially if it's horrifying and...bad! (Most of my own characters deal heavily with religion and religious trauma, I think it's cool to play with, whether or not it's a fantasy religion like I think Angie's is)
CULTS! Cult behavior! Let's live in a commune!! (GUYS I LOVE MIDSOMMAR)
Dark skin / light hair contrast color combo goes hard!!!
+ The pansexual flag palette is literally my favorite color combo ever!!!!
Manipulative little shits!!!!!
Small scary women!!!!!!
Islander stuff, it's very nostalgic to me and I just have a deep love and appreciation for the beach and ocean!!!!!!!
Piercings!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cutesy sunshine character who could and would stab you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BLOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IDK HOW THIS WASN'T MY FIRST POINT!!!!!!!!!!
AND SHE'S JUST FUCKING SILLY!!!!!!!! SHE'S GENUINELY SO FUNNY AND CUTE ESPECIALLY IN HER INTERACTIONS WITH SHUICHI!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE HER SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She was an IMMEDIATE favorite when I played V3 and when I found out that, like, everyone fucking HATED her and she's probably the least liked character in the entire class by the fans, my brain immediately went the contrarian route to find reasons to like her even MORE. I tend to do this a lot, but when it's a character I already enjoy, it's even worse, dude.
ummmmm obligatory Shinnaga mention sorry but I frequently tend to appreciate a character a lot more based on potential dynamics alone. Ships, romantic or not, have legitimately gotten me to enjoy characters I hated before, based on interesting interactions unique to them alone. So while Kiyo and Angie's (they're making out btw) ingame dynamic and dialogues aren't REALLY what my sick and twisted mind views them as, it's worth noting that my honest belief and interpretation of the two of them could even give me a sliver of that dynamic being possible .......... means she's fuckin slay ............ it means love wins..... It means Vote For Yonaga 2024

I feel like you are hypnotizing me to ship Billy and Marcus, and it's working!
All according to plan 😈
For real though, I don't do much shipping and when I do, it's usually pretty casual, but for some reason Billy and Marcus decided to be low key flirty in the fic and I decided to go with it! It wasn't even planned lol.
I love the two of them together, regardless of whether they're platonic, romantic, or somewhere inbetween. They just have a fun dynamic (and really fun banter).
So if this converts a few people to shipping them and/or getting into Monkey Prince I'm more than happy with that!

Man following you was one of my best decisions. So much of the joy has been sucked out of 911 because of this dumb ship war, and it's been so disappointing to watch some people become so mocking and hateful about two characters who are so great and whose dynamic is so amazing regardless of whether you ship them or not, just because of disappointment that the other ship is over. It's just negativity and bad faith. I happily ship buddie, whether they go canon or not because they truly are eachother's person in every way that matters. Let's all focus on what brings us joy!
i get feeling cynical and disappointed by a show. (i actually WAS personally pretty disappointed in how they ended bucktommy and i think they could have done without the whole WE'RE GONNA GIVE YOU THIS GREAT EP BEFORE THE BREAK UP JUST SO IT HURTS MORE), and i don't begrudge people their hurt. and, honestly, with this show, i still don't discount anything. anyone can come back any time and tim is a man who just kind of yolos his life sometimes.
but i'm just - from the moment i met eddie diaz on screen, that dynamic has meant the world to me. i can't help it. it speaks to me and i love it and so i will be a silly little clown about buddie canon until the last episode airs i will scream it from the rooftops and if i never get it i will still know that i had fun the whole time with my silly little friends on my silly little blog about our silly little weewoo show, ya know? their whole relationship and history is just so compelling to me and it inspires me to write some fun fics and i will always see fandom as a way to focus on what brings me happiness. right now that's buddie. and a lot of the negativity and, quite honestly, mocking towards people who are just having fun about their ship (because believe it or not a lot of buddie shippers aren't threatening tim or the actors or sending lou hateful comments or being nasty - they're just having fun) is starting to push me further and further away from wanting to multiship or AT LEAST from interacting much with other ships because i just have more fun clowning about my buck and eddie and being silly and a little stupid.
anyway that was long and not what you asked for but i'm really glad you like my blog and it gives you something fun and light to see on your dashboard!

(hot take) Lumity is cute and very important for LGBTQ representation but bland. They're adorable but that's all they are - fluff. Nothing wrong with just being unapologetically cute though, esp for an LGBT ship when previous LGBT ships have historically ended in tragedy
(hotter take) Lunter is more interesting, more dynamic, parallels Caleb & Evelyn, AND is still LGBT representation cause they're both bi, although not as explicit LGBT representation (unless BOTH their biness was made important and visible in the show itself)
Like seeing Luz and Amity actually kiss was groundbreaking and they're adorable and pure and I love them but Lunter just works for the overarching story more.
This preference really depends on whether you liked the fluff parts or the story parts of toh more tho
But regardless of your opinion on Lunter, Lunter antis go WAYYYY too far like, no. There are actually problematic ships and Lunter is NOT one of them. Lunter is cute in its own way and I'm tired of seeing Lunter shippers get harassed with claims of incest cause of the harasser's personal headcanon.
I don't want to erase the impact Lumity had but please, don't ruin other people's fun.
Not Lumity hate, just a take

Ship ask, since it's like-- the only hetero ship that has even vague traction involving either Ted or Booster, but--
Babs/Ted? Ship or no ship?
i love and chuckled the phrasing of how you introduced this ship, lmao, because tedbabs definitely feels like a "blink and you'll miss it" pairing that a lot of people probably wouldn't even realise has been canon(ish? i guess? they did go on a date irl!) — that, or they simply don't get talked about a lot. i learned about their history when my friend who roleplays babs brought it up!
but whether this is surprising coming from me or not — i do ship tedbabs!!!!! it's one of the very few canon, especially m/f ships that make me happy. in my experience, i've seen m/f ships feel unbalanced or unconvincing or just not well written enough, especially in comics or any medium where love interests are pushed, but tedbabs is so cosy <3
i actually enjoyed their dynamic when i was reading bop, they seem to get along pretty well and respect each other, and they seem so sweet and fun. in the grand scheme of things, i'd prefer them to be wlw mlm solidarity best friends, since i would love for them both to be queer (manifesting that helbabs and boostle double date fingers crossed) and also for them to hang out again, i wouldn't mind reading more of tedbabs if that wholesome dynamic stays :) regardless, ted and barbara respectively will always have a special place in my heart
does this entire thing count as an unpopular opinion considering i haven't seen a lot of posts about them...? /lh
anyway, thank you for the ask!!! 🩵🩵🩵

Hi your thoughts on whether Moira is switch bottom or top or what's her prefences I uh explodes
It kinda depends. I have a couple different versions of Moira running through my head at any given time, if that makes sense? But I'll share the main two I typically gravitate towards. (Putting it under a read more to not flood you guys with text)
First Moira is pansexual, where she will have sex with someone regardless of gender, but can only make meaningful, romantic relationships with women. I would say she's a tentative switch, who is typically a top but on a rare occasion with the right person or situation she is a bottom. Her relationships with men are more so transactional, and she'll usually toss them out if they show an inkling of romantic inclination towards her.
Second Moira is a lesbian, where she only has sexual and romantic relationships with women. Similarly to the first she's a top with some switch tendencies, but I would say to a lesser degree. She's a lot closer to being a stone top.
It can get kind of complicated because most, if not all of my ships for Moira have an asterisk tacked on them can range in meaning from 'I don't think this relationship lasts for long' to 'i am shipping this for the bit.' I think a general good rule of thumb would be to not take my ships too seriously, because I'm not either, I'm just speculating on possible dynamics for characters cus it's what I have fun doing, so Moira can change kinda wildly for me.
As an example, when I ship her with Angela or Odessa, (and funnily enough, Cassidy, because they never get together sexually or romantically) she's most definitely a lesbian. With someone like Mauga, she's a pansexual with only romantic feelings towards women. But with Niran, or Sloan, she's a pansexual that CAN have romantic feelings for someone regardless of gender. It just depends how I'm feeling in that moment!

I'm like...really tempted by the idea of a loumand server. But like. Other than not being sure there would be enough interest, I also don't really like modding spaces where I feel I'd need to make a lot of mod calls/it would be difficult to set really concrete and clear rules. Just the way this fandom is with this ship specifically is so frustrating. Because...like it would be understood in a loustat or DM server that the people there ship this ship and want them to be together, regardless of whether they acknowledge that the relationship had problem. While with Loumand there are lots of people who say they "like it" or want to talk about it but either lowkey hate one of characters or actually just want to talk about how bad for each other they are/how toxic it is. And that would really not be a goal of such a space but rather something to share more positive interpretations, headcanons, squee, works, etc. But I also wouldn't want to be like..."no discussion of the problems in the relationship" because well...that's not all that fun, given that they surely have plenty of problems and issues and that's part of the relationship dynamic, or be like "you have to want them to be/wish they were endgame' or something because that's all of like 3 of us lol.
