I guess I'm glad how this turned out, I tested many pallets and colours to find favourite ones (for future works as well thehe) ><

Small note:

1) here I drew the hairstyles in an older style, so they differ from the previous sketches

2) I know that Emma has green eyes, but for convenience I made them orange, don't hit me with slippers for this–)

I feel how I overdone with my RayEmma hyperficsation, I think I should slow down a little bit haha– (I love them too much ughhh💥💥)

I love Donald Davenport because yes all his actions are uniquely fucked up but at least at the start they came from a place of concern. Concern that children were being used as weapons of mass destruction. Concern of how he was going to raise them safely without them hurting themselves of others. And gradually over time that concern started focusing less on them and more on himself. How he could use their bionics to find a solution to things. How in order to do that he would have to distance himself from his kids. Stop seeing them as fully human children because they were capable of so much more. It drove him to become the one thing he didn't want to be. The one thing he wanted to stop. It doesn't matter if he went about it the "right way" he still molded his children into soldiers who would never be able to truly connect with their peers in the way that they longed for.

I love jealous Sua, at first impression I didn’t think she’d be the type because she had such a mature air about her. But I’m always surprised at just how childish she can be at times. Researcher!Siffrin does have his own sus event (although I haven’t actually gotten that event in my own game so I can’t properly explain how it goes at this moment-) for Traveller!Mirabelle. He does have minor knowledge on Wish Craft through his research and tests, but due to their memory can’t really bring it up unless prompted in certain situations, and it drives them crazy. I will certainly update this when I get the sus event with how it actually goes, but for the time being, I hope this is good!!

So I read Don't Let the Forest In by CG Drews and it fucked me up a little [in a good way]. I heard this book had body horror [<- my favorite thing ever], fucked up gay people, monsters etc which made me think this would be my cup of tea and it definitely is that it feels like this book was made for me. I will not be able to stop thinking about it for a while. God I am so normal

can i once again reiterate how much i love interpretations of Dark where they were personally hurt that Alan didn't care about them. i love that interpretation so much.

i think that they were hurt on chosen's behalf, sure! but how much must it hurt to be used as a tool to destroy someone else, only for that person to be the only one to show you kindness? every night you dream about killing them and it feels good but it's so terrible at the same time.

and like. in showdown dark didn't HAVE to hurt the other sticks but it almost makes sense that they do when they're hurt by Alan not caring. these sticks don't deserve it any more than Dark did! why would he change his mind???? it's not FAIR, it's not FAIR— they hate him so much, they wish he would just die...

but in the end that isn't what chosen wants. so dark is the only one left with this horrible boiling grudge. because like it or not he left an indelible mark that made them forever want to hurt Chosen
