So, this was originally going to be a piece of scrap paper. I had cut it with scissors and it was horribly lopsided. But I recently got a paper guillotine, so managed to even it out. But it ended up smaller than the standard paper size I draw on.

So I said "Fuck it. Yagi."

I've been wanting to redraw that piece by Horikoshi (I might not care for his writing, but damn do I like his art)

And because it was a scrap piece of paper, I wasn't really worried about messing up (although I did mess up his hair a bit- thank god for white ink). It was refreshing to turn my brain off, not worry about crisp lineart, and just crank out some art in 3 hours.

I love drawing his bangs so much. They're like ribbons! I just wanna tie them under his chin like a bow on a sunhat!!
