your post in the ftmblr community made it onto my for you page so uh just a heads up. femboy is a transmisogynistic term & tme people shouldn't rlly be using it /info
?
I've never heard that anywhere, and regardless, I'm not going to stop using it. Femboy describes how I feel in my gender almost perfectly. It makes me feel secure. It makes me feel cute, but still masculine. No way in hell am I giving that up. I've NEVER heard it used in that context ever. I have no idea what TME means, I've never seen it used, and Google can't tell me.
Edit: ah. It's one of those radical trans feminists. Public service announcement. I AM A MAN!!! I HAVE NO DICK!!! I DONT WANT A DICK!!! I AM STILL A MAN!!!! I AM A FEMBOY TWINK WITH A GORGEUS VAGINA. I HOPE EVERY RAD CHOKES ON THIS POST LIKE A STRAP. Cry about it 🥰💔

Really cool that 90% of the published articles I’ve seen about transandrophobia/transmisandry/whatever the fuck floating around the internet are not only an endless echo chamber of “why this term fails to describe the transmasculine experience” thoughtpieces, but also are just. Openly written & speculated on by non-transmascs. The article itself? Not written by a transmasc author. The sources (if any)? Theory on transmascs by non-transmascs. The comments? non-transmascs (including cis people 😳) thanking them for their thoughts and agreeing that “it just doesn’t work for us!”.
The lengths people will go to avoid including transmascs in a discussion ABOUT US makes me want to rip my fucking hair out. Jesus.

FINALLY SOMEONE POINTS OUT HOW ASKING SOMEONE TO SAY IF THEYRE TME/TMA IS BASICALLY THE NEW "do u have a penis or a vagaina?"/"are u amab or afab?"
I've been told so many times that's not what it is totally "don't worryyy were not looking to categorize you as a girl nonbinary or a boy nonbinary whaaat, now put tme or tma in ur bio dw haha"
like, it rlly just comes off as asking if I have a penis or not
i'm glad people are starting to wake up to this
like, it rlly just comes off as asking if I have a penis or not
that's all it is. all they want to know is what genitals you have so they can judge you and tell you how you live your life. it's invasive and predatory. it's intersexist. its transphobic.
to everyone reading this, do not use tme/tma. do not put them in your bios. "transmisogyny exempt/transmisogyny affected" don't exist. it's just the afab/amab binary again. people are trying to figure out what genitals you have. they are not entitled to know. don't ever give strangers that info.

I'm not really sure what tme and tma are tryna mean but it's pointless.
Trans women, Trans men, and Non binary folks need to stay strong together we are at war with ppl who think being gay is the same thing as trans. They will KILL US we gotta band together. You don't have to like everyone in the community but you have TO WORK WITH THEM you have to believe we all deserve to live
Anyone arguing against coming together and community is a psyop or worse an idiot

they done treated me like 1950s housewife who needs to be leashed by her man and scolded and shitted on the same way they do to their own trans wives which just made me scared for these women they date cuz if they treat a random trans woman who is not in any way part of their life, what's gonna happen when their trans wife does a mistake and has a mental breakdown, she will be thrown under the bus and everyone will trust her man about how problematic her kinks are, inviting everyone to openly sexually harass, and pry into her sexual lives and desires, post her fetishes all over the internet and make a pedophile zoophile out of her, those trans women are not free, this isn't a relationship held together by love and support, these women are in relationships built on fear of violence and relentlessly harassing random trans women is a tool to keep them in check and remind them waht;'s gonna happen if they leave or speak about their TME partner's abuse.

Toyota FT-Me Concept, 2025. An electric microcar prototype from Toyota Motor Europe (TME) designed for inner city mobility. The 2-seat cabin can be adapted for cargo (folding the passenger's seat) and the vehicle can be driven solely by hand commands using the steering wheel, so it can be operated by wheelchair uses without the need for aftermarket modification. The main battery can be charged by the FT-Me’s solar panel roof, adding 20 to 30km of driving range per day in urban settings.

“You’re not oppressed for being masculine or a man, you’re oppressed for being transgender and because you experience misogyny” You’re literally so close to actually listening to what transmascs are saying. Come on buddy. Think just a little bit harder for me

TMA/TME binary is complete nonsense in the way it gets used. We don't call people "racism exempt" or even "misogynoir exempt" bc those categories would be incoherent. We are all deeply affected by these things! An Indian woman might be affected by misogynoir, even if she's not the primary target. A black cis woman can be affected by transmisogyny even if she's not the primary target.
which is, of course, not touching the way "TME" has become a snarl word for "transmasculine" and/or "queer afab"

@help-im-not-original I hope it's alright with you - I've made this into its own separate text post because these are points worth addressing and I want to do so in more than just a reply. I understand what you mean, and in a lot of ways you're right. I know that transfem/TMA separatism is a concept that hasn't been advocated for a lot. (That said, I know I'm not the literal first person to advocate for it, I've seen both TMAs and TMEs saying that its time for us to split into our own communities). I think that's because we, as trans women, are used to getting absolutely nothing. Like I said in my post, we're hunted down and murdered, and that's treated like a good thing. I think almost all of us see the abuse we suffer at the hands of the trans "community" and call it good enough. Trans women/TMAs are normally so, so bad at standing up for ourselves. I don't think the rarity of what I'm advocating for makes it bad or unneeded. On the contrary, I think that just shows how desperately we need our own spaces. Second, I'm seriously so glad that you haven't been victimized by the trans "community" yet. It's rare to find a sister of mine that has been treated the way she deserves by her allies, and I'm glad to find it in you. That said though, that's a woefully rare experience. Talk to other trans women that have had interactions with transmales, look at what's going on in the aftermath of the r/Trans debacle, look at TME/transmale spaces and you'll see so, so many of them victim blaming and out right hating trans women. While your experience is wonderful, if it was universal I wouldn't be advocating for us pushing away our allies. To speak on that. You say I'm pushing away people that want to help us, that I'm rejecting solidarity. I'm very much not. The trans "community" has always called itself our allies, but we're also the first people they demonize, we're put under the most scrutiny so they can kick us out as soon as we do anything they don't like. These aren't the actions of allies. These are the actions of people that tolerate you for you use, and of ones that are eager to get rid of you as quickly as they can. They are not trying to help us, they are wanting to use us for all we can do for them, then discard us as soon as we are no longer benefiting them. Lastly, again, you are correct. One Tumblr post is not going to save any lives. (Although TMEs seem to think you've taken one if you so much as make a post calling them out for their bullshit...) But what will is standing with your trans sisters when someone from outside of what should be our community tries to kick her out of said community by way of some callout post or some such. What will is not letting someone from outside our community tell you that you're not allowed to be friends with that trans girl because she had the gall to stand up for herself. What will is not letting them divide us any more because of their own hatred for us. What will save lives is standing with your trans sisters no matter what. That is what I want to inspire by giving us our own community. That is my goal with trans fem liberation. Not one more trans fem death because she was socially isolated. Not one step backwards.
