Stealth!Donatello x reader

A/N: I decided it probably would be a good idea, to write a little for the ones I hadn’t been writing too much about, just to cover some ground. Therefore I thought it would be a fun idea to write some base “facts” about some of the Stealth!Turtles. Now, as these are based on the TMNT 2003 Unused Production Art, there isn’t really much known about these (at least not much that I could find). I’ve therefore based this on my own idea of what the Stealth Turtles are, and what I think their roles would have been, and then writing a fanfic off of that. Yeah, just a little bit confusing. Anyway, hope you’ll enjoy🖤💜

One thing was a mutant turtle, another was a kanabo clone of a mutant turtle. But have you ever experienced the stamina of a stealth robot, based on the personality and skill of both a mutant turtle and a kanabo clone of a mutant turtle? No? Well, holy shit, are you in for the ride of your life.

Talking about stamina when it comes to this version of Donatello, is kind of out of place. Robot Donnie doesn’t have such a thing as stamina. It’s a thing only for living beings, measuring how long they could keep going. No this Donnie could keep going pretty much forever. And if you allowed him to, he would. But the only thing that kept him from going at you all day and all night, every day and all time, was your own human needs to eat, sleep and all these other things he did not have to worry about.

But you wonder, why in all of the galaxies, would a robot be interested in sex with a human such as yourself? Well, when Darius made a robot off of two very sexual beings, and gave it a mind of its own, it didn’t take long before it developed what could be considered feelings and emotional needs, along with urges that could only be stimulated through physical acts. And with Donnie’s brilliant mind inside a robot, he wasn’t above doing a little rewiring or physical addictions on him and his metal brothers, to make such activities with living beings possible. Luckily for Donnie and his brothers, the society of the year 2105, was very accepting of relations between robots, androdis, aliens and humans, allowing them to gain their own experiences - of course without Darius’ knowledge.

Stealth Donnie found the human body very interesting. During sex or sexual acts, he genurally enjoyed watching his partners reactions. And your reactions was more than just interesting and fascinating to Donnie - it was straight up addictive. The way you whimpered and moaned beneath him and his - at times - rigited movements, made him feel like a real living being. As if he wasn’t made of cold metal and steel, but that he was a real and loveable person, who you had decided to put your love and attraction onto.

Donnie enjoyed putting you in different positions, seeing how each of them had their own effects on the pleasure you received. He always took notes on the things that you liked and disliked, using the data to make sure that each time you were together, would bring up pleasure in ways you had never experienced before.

Hello, hello! No need to apologize for this request that ended up making me very happy to write. However, I didn't want to put all four in one part, so I decided to do it separately. And I have to admit, it's been a while since I've seen anything from Demon Slayer, but I hope you like it! ♡♡♡♡

It was late one evening when Leonardo first met you, and needless to say, your presence caught him off guard.

You had come into their lives through April, who insisted that you’d be an asset to their team. At first, Leo didn’t understand what she meant. Then, he saw you take down a handful of Kraang droids with strength that rivaled Raph’s, all while laughing like it was a game.

You were... different. Not just because of your insane strength, but also because of your look. Your long hair was streaked with vibrant shades that seemed almost unnatural, your appetite could rival Mikey’s, and your outfit choices? Let’s just say they weren’t exactly “ninja stealth material.”

Leo first noticed your unusual strength during a sparring match in the lair. He had approached the fight like any other, underestimating you just slightly—not in a mean way, but because he wasn’t used to seeing someone as strong as Raph who didn’t have a temper to match.

But then you disarmed him with a single flick of your wrist and sent him sprawling to the ground.

“Oops! Sorry, Leo!” you said, crouching down to help him up, your cheerful smile shining brightly.

Leo stared up at you, dumbfounded. “How... how did you do that?”

You shrugged. “I guess I’ve always been strong. My family says it’s a blessing or something.”

From that moment on, Leo couldn’t help but be fascinated by you.

Then there was your appetite.

It was movie night, and Mikey had insisted on ordering enough pizza for an army. You happily joined in, grabbing slice after slice, keeping pace with Mikey without breaking a sweat.

Raph raised an eyebrow as you polished off your fourth slice. “You sure you’re not part turtle? 'Cause you’re puttin’ Mikey to shame.”

You laughed, wiping your mouth with a napkin. “I just love food! Besides, Mikey’s still the champ. I’m just warming up.”

Leo watched you with a small smile, amused by how effortlessly you fit in with his brothers.

What really threw Leo off, though, was your taste in clothes.

You often wore vibrant, eye-catching outfits that seemed more suited for a festival than sneaking around the shadows of New York. Today’s choice was no exception: a bright, pastel-colored ensemble that clashed hilariously with the lair’s dim lighting.

“Isn’t that outfit a little... Too much?” Leo asked, his tone carefully neutral.

You tilted your head, your hair falling over your shoulder like a ribbon. “I guess so,” you admitted, “but I like feeling cute, even when I’m fighting bad guys. It makes me happy!”

Leo didn’t know what to say to that, so he just nodded, silently wondering how someone could be so unapologetically themselves.

It wasn’t long before Leo found himself going out of his way to do small things for you.

Like when he noticed you always tugging at your socks during training because they kept slipping. At first, he didn’t think much of it, but then he overheard you complaining about it to April one day.

“They’re always falling down! It’s so annoying,” you said, huffing. “But I can’t find any that stay up!”

The next time Leo went topside, he kept an eye out for anything that might help. Eventually, he found a pair of long, durable socks in a shop window. They reminded him of something a samurai might wear—simple but sturdy—and he couldn’t help but think of you.

When he handed them to you a few days later, you were surprised, to say the least.

“Socks?” you said, holding them up.

“They’re supposed to stay up during activity,” Leo explained, rubbing the back of his neck. “I noticed yours kept slipping, so... I thought you might like these.”

Your eyes lit up, and you tackled him in a hug before he could react. “Leo, you’re the best!”

He froze for a moment, then slowly patted your back, his face heating up. “It’s... nothing. Really.”

But to you, it wasn’t nothing. It was thoughtful, and it made your feelings for him grow even more.

As time went on, Leo found himself admiring all the little things that made you... Well, you.

Your strength, your appetite, your eccentric clothes—all of it was part of the charm that made you stand out. And the more he got to know you, the more he realized that you weren’t just a colorful whirlwind in his life—you were a light he didn’t know he needed.

And for you, Leo’s quiet acts of kindness only made you fall for him harder. Whether it was a pair of socks or a word of encouragement during training, he always seemed to know just what you needed.

She didn't enjoy being an assassin... plus, as a Mutant, it's not like she had many friends.

She dedicated most of her life to killing her brother, that is all.

Yet before she got to do such a thing... She was convinced by other Mutants to reconsider.

This was when she met the Turtles... and by extension, you.

After sparing her brother due to Leo's words... Alopex fully planned to leave.

She'll head back to Tokyo... and figure out what to do next.

However... Next thing she knows, she's invited by the Turtles to stay a little longer.

She's confused and tempted to turn down such an offer... yet suddenly you insist.

Maybe you're human... or maybe you're a Mutant like her.

Either way... Alopex finds herself oddly curious of you.

Why do you want an assassin like her to hang around?

She isn't really the friendly type.

Despite this... You and the Turtles seem oddly on board with the idea of inviting her to the hideout.

Her ears flick as she considers such an option... then her gaze glances back to you.

Maybe... She should take advantage of this opportunity.

This is how you end up befriending the fox assassin.

Originally it was simply because she was invited.

Sure, the sewer smells... unpleasant... Yet the company is appreciated.

After that she decides to stick around since it seems like you and the Turtles will still be dealing with Tiger Claw related problems.

She says she'll stick around in case you all need aid.

In reality... The fox is getting quite attached to you.

You seemed interested in her when you both talked after convincing her to give up revenge.

Despite the horrible things she was forced to do... You didn't view her any differently.

You claimed you've seen a lot worse... and Alopex didn't seem to mean what she did beside her brother.

It... was such a naive outlook, yet it gave her some comfort.

Perhaps she does deserve companionship...

You seem so willing to give her a chance.

I feel Alopex is a yandere hard to leave.

She knows how to hide her emotions, yet her physical abilities can make her quite the foe.

Alopex is known for her speed and stealth.

She runs fast, lands quick strikes, and knows to stay in the shadows like any assassin.

So, if you ever felt you needed to escape her for some reason... It would be difficult.

Alopex has proven she's a good tracker and is fast.

You running would not outpace her.

It's best to keep her controlled rather than outright trying to flee.

Alopex overall doesn't seem too intense.

She likes to keep things to herself, especially emotions.

She no doubt hides her obsession with you most of the time, no doubt knowing romantic feelings would be strange between you.

Alopex is not keen on leaving you alone for long.

In exchange for being so kind to her and helping her see past revenge... She vows to watch over you until Tiger Claw is no longer a threat to you.

After all, she kind of feels responsible for her brother causing problems.

I can see Alopex taking this 'vow of protection' to the extreme.

When you go on missions or just live your normal life... Alopex watches from the shadows.

She doesn't see this as wrong because she's done... worse things go track targets.

This, however, is just looking after you.

Alopex comes off as overprotective towards you at first.

It's out of gratitude for giving her a chance.

Then I can see her checking in with you more often meeting you at the lair to speak.

As OOC as this sounds... I like to think Alopex likes physical affection with you.

At first she doesn't since distancing herself seems safer.

Yet later, even just a hug or laying against you is comforting.

She'll accept friendly hugs... but part of her can't help but think of it in other contexts.

Alopex, as though indebted to you, doesn't mind attacking others for you.

She knows the remaining forces with Tiger Claw/Shredder will be hunting you down.

It's only right for her to lend you her aid....

Although the idea of attacking others out of jealousy sparks in her mind... She keeps it under control.

She bottles her romantic feeling in fear of it damaging the bond you two have.

She hasn't had a companion like you... almost ever.

Despite it all, I of course see her pent up romantic feelings causing issues later.

She may not kidnap at first, viewing it as low...

Although she finds herself growling when others get too close to you.

It shouldn't be her business... Yet she's defensive about her companion.

She really does try to keep a muzzle on such behaviors... although others will notice eventually.

You accidentally teach Alopex to be affectionate.

You hugged her one time, petting her fur.

While she nearly bit you the first time... She ends up craving you rubbing her ears and face.

You make her feel comfortable... wanted...

She hasn't felt such a way since realizing she's a monster.

You make her feel like she can be loved.

She tries not to confess to you, always acting stoic as she helps hunt down potential threats.

Yet... what if she can't anymore?

In theory, she could go forever hiding her emotions....

But what if she nearly lost you?

What if she felt she had to risk it all to have you?

I can see Alopex feeling forced to take you with her, despite her views on kidnapping, if she has to leave.

She wishes to go back to Tokyo... but she can't part from you.

Or, maybe someone else has your heart... and she can't take it anymore?

A number of things could probably make her snap... it doesn't matter too much for this...

What does matter is how dangerous she becomes.

Alopex would be fast when she snaps to take you.

She'd hit you hard, knocking you out before you register what's wrong.

By the time you wake up, she'll have you miles away from the lair...

Maybe even smuggled somewhere back to Tokyo.

When you try to confront her, she shrugs with her ears down.

It's obviously too dangerous in New York for you.

Plus, if she's dealt with Tiger Claw, there's no need for her to be there anymore.

But... You're different to her.

You may not accept it... but she's in love with you.

You've taught her she's no monster... she just needs love.

With you, she gets that love.

She apologizes for making everything so sudden... but she had to work fast.

If she was too slow, you or someone else would stop her.

But now... Now no one can take you from her unless they want her to gouge them.

Now that she's found a companion who can show her a better life... She isn't taking any chances.

She'll find a home for the both of you, one where it can just be the two of you.

She'll cuddle you, kiss you, and finally experience proper love with you...

Now... she'll have a better life with you... with no one to interrupt... she may have done horrible things before... but this time...

It's for a purpose she actually believes in.

“That’s their Raph?! He’s enormous! And he was their leader? He seems so … openly emotional. Our Raph bottles it up until he explodes; this one just feels things, loudly. He’s clearly strong, and fiercely protective, which I respect. But his leadership style, if it was based on that much overt emotion—I don’t know how that would work. Still, you can’t fault his dedication.”

2012!Leo finds Rise!Raph an anomaly, shocked by his immense size and former leadership role. Accustomed to his own brother’s anger, he finds Rise!Raph’s open emotionality unprofessional, as it conflicts with his entire understanding of command.

Leo expects another hothead, but is thrown off by this Raph’s gentle nature. He leads with a kind authority that messes with Leo’s head, making him wonder if his own Raph could have been that type of leader if things had been different.

Leo finds Rise!Donnie excessively theatrical. While his advanced tech is impressive, the constant dramatic pronouncements are distracting. Leo values efficiency and focus, making him question how this performative counterpart handles stealth, and whether his style overshadows his obvious intellect.

While our Mikey is a distraction, this one seems to weaponize his creativity in a very literal sense. Is he ever serious? He’s got the heart, I can see that, but the discipline …”

Leo observes this other Mikey with a mixture of apprehension and curiosity. His whimsical use of dangerous mystic powers is unsettling to him. While he sees the same boundless energy and heart as his own brother, it’s channeled into chaotic, creative expression instead of disciplined ninjutsu—the opposite of the order and control Leo values.

Leo can’t help but smile, seeing so much of his Mikey in him. But where his own brother is often brushed off, this Mikey shines and is respected. Leo feels a pang of guilt, wondering if he has underestimated his own brother all this time.

Leo sees the raw creativity and mystic energy, but what catches his attention is the respect this Mikey commands. He’s still a goofball, but he’s heard. Leo realizes he’s spent years dismissing his own Mikey’s ideas because they seemed silly, and wonders if, given this version’s competence, his brother has always deserved more credit.

2012!Raph is first struck by Rise!Raph’s immense size. He expects a macho rival but is thrown off by his counterpart’s calm, more soft-spoken, and fiercely protective nature.

2012!Raph is confused by Rise!Raph, who wears every feeling on his sleeve and leads with his heart. He expected a fellow hothead but instead finds a counterpart who is surprisingly gentle and sensitive despite his immense strength.

The way Rise!Raph protects his brothers lands hard. 2012!Raph softens, realizing that maybe strength isn’t just about fists and fury.

2012!Raph watches Rise!Raph openly listen and care, defusing arguments and offering hugs without a second thought. He’d never admit it, but the guy has his respect.

Rise!Raph is gentle with his brothers, carrying his strength as the tank with humility. 2012!Raph is surprised to discover that he genuinely likes him a lot.

It also makes him wonder what kind of brother he could have been if he hadn’t always felt the need to be the angry one.

What 2012!Raph thinks of Rise!Leo

“This pretty boy is their Leo? He’s all talk and flashy moves. ‘Face man’? Give me a break. He’s cracking jokes while he’s supposed to be leading? Our Leo’s bad enough with the Space Heroes obsession, but at least he tries to be serious. This guy seems like he’s always trying to be the star of the show. Those swords are fancy, but can he actually fight without teleporting away?”

Raph instantly dismisses Rise!Leo as a poser, annoyed by his constant quips and flashy fighting style. Unlike his own serious leader, Raph doubts this version has the grit for a real fight and would just teleport away from trouble.

Ugh. This guy? He’s like if Mikey and Leo had a baby and raised it on a diet of pure sarcasm. Raph is infuriated by this sarcastic show-off. But when he sees him working hard to protect his brothers while pretending not to care, he’s hit with a damning realization: that behavior is all too familiar.

Raph tries not to roll his eyes at this Leo’s constant jokes. But the more he watches, the more he sees the pressure and instinctual leadership behind the humor. He realizes this smart-mouth isn’t just a clown—he has bite, making him wonder if his own Leo has been carrying that same weight all along, just in a different way.

What 2012!Raph thinks of Rise!Donnie

“So that’s their Donnie. Even more of a nerd than ours, if that’s possible, and way more dramatic about it. ‘Soft shell’? What kinda ninja advertises their weak spot? His tech looks like it could do some damage, I guess, but he acts like he’s in a bad play. Our Donnie’s annoying with his science talk, but at least he doesn’t make a whole song and dance about it.”

Raph finds this Donnie, if possible, even more of a brainiac than his own brother, and twice as loud about it. The dramatic flair and theatrical pronouncements are incredibly irritating. While he grudgingly admits his gadgets are powerful, the personality is like nails on a chalkboard; his own Donnie is annoying, but at least he isn’t putting on a one-turtle show.

Initially, his smug, theatrical nature annoys Raph more than his own Donnie ever has. But then he sees him fiercely protect his brothers and starts to see the care underneath the ego. Okay, maybe he’s not that bad. Still too dramatic, though.

Raph doesn’t trust him at first; he’s too smug. But he protects his brothers without hesitation and pulls off insane tech saves that make even his Donnie raise a brow. Raph realizes this version hides his care under bravado, much like he does with anger. He doesn’t like it, but he gets it.

What 2012!Raph thinks of Rise!Mikey

“Another Mikey. Great. This one’s got weird fire things and calls himself an ‘artist.’ He seems even more hyper than our goofball. Does he ever shut up or sit still? He’s probably even more annoying than my Mikey, which is saying something. Though, gotta admit, setting your chains on fire is kinda cool, if you’re into that flashy stuff.”

Raph braces himself for double the pranks and noise. The mystic powers are different and maybe a little impressive in a chaotic way, but mostly he just sees another goofball who needs to learn to be serious.

This kid makes Raph laugh. He’s creative like his Mikey, but bolder, jumping into danger with a grin Raph deems either brave or dumb. It makes Raph see his own brother in a new light, wondering if he’s always been this gutsy and he just never noticed.

Raph is blown away by this Mikey, who launches into fights with fearless confidence. More than that, he listens, adapts, and leads in quiet ways. Raph realizes his own Mikey might have been doing the same thing all along; he just never gave him credit for it.

What 2012!Donnie thinks of Rise!Donnie

Initially, 2012!Donnie is impressed and overwhelmed by Rise!Donnie’s tech. Creations like his transforming battle shell are leagues beyond his own bo-staff inventions in sheer offensive capability and integration.

They butt heads at first. 2012!Donnie with his pragmatic approach, Rise!Donnie with his dramatic pronouncements. But then 2012!Donnie sees the genuine genius behind his counterpart’s creations, finding a kindred spirit in his passion for invention, even if Rise!Donnie’s dramatic presentation makes him roll his eyes.

An instant rivalry forms—not hostile, just hypercompetitive. They swap blueprints and finish each other’s calculations, and 2012!Donnie hates how much he likes his counterpart, who is obnoxious, brags constantly, and flaunts his tech with absolutely no scientific humility.

2012!Donnie secretly admires his counterpart’s confidence and wants to study his dramatic tech, recognizing him as a fellow, albeit flamboyant, genius.

What truly sticks with 2012!Donnie is how unapologetic his counterpart is. Rise!Donnie owns his brilliance, never explaining it away or downplaying it to seem humble.

That stings a little. He’s spent years being the behind-the-scenes problem-solver, and now he wonders what would happen if he allowed himself to take up that much space.

What 2012!Donnie thinks of Rise!Leo

“Fascinating. This Leo relies on spatial distortion and improvised, quippy maneuvers rather than traditional strategy. His grasp of leadership seems unconventional. He calls himself the ‘face man’? The scientific principles behind his portal generation are intriguing, I’ll admit. But his lack of overt planning and constant need for witty banter seems counterproductive to mission success. Our Leo would have an aneurysm.”

Donnie finds this alternate Leo a fascinating, perplexing study. He analyzes his portal-based tactics and “face man” persona as unconventional methods of team cohesion and enemy distraction. While the science behind the portals is highly intriguing, Donnie considers the lack of pre-planning and constant one-liners logically unsound for a leader.

Donnie is annoyed because this Leo reminds him of his own, if only 2012!Leo wouldn’t hold back. But he also has style, tactical creativity, and an uncanny way of staying ten steps ahead. It’s frustrating, mostly because Donnie respects it. He thinks the two Leos could learn from each other, if they ever stopped arguing.

Donnie is immediately annoyed. He’s loud, dramatic, and somehow more chaotic than Mikey. But when Leo lays out three-dimensional strategy in real time during a fight, Donnie’s brain sparks. What 2012!Donnie thinks of Rise!Raph

“The largest of them, and apparently their former leader. His emotional responses are … highly demonstrative. The mystic amplification of his physical strength is noteworthy, turning emotional drive into tangible kinetic force. It’s an illogical system for leadership—relying on feeling over tactical assessment—but the raw power output is undeniable. He’s like our Raph, if our Raph’s anger had a more constructive, albeit equally loud, outlet.”

Donnie’s first data point is Rise!Raph’s size, followed by the clear correlation between his emotional state and his mystic power. He finds his past leadership, driven by overt emotion, an interesting variable—a stark contrast to 2012!Leo’s more calculated approach. While he privately deems it a suboptimal system, he concedes the raw protective instinct and resulting force are undeniably effective.

He confuses Donnie. Not in a bad way, just different. He’s used to Raph being a blunt force, but this version is thoughtful and empathetic, which is refreshing. He’d never say it, but he sometimes likes him more than his own Raph. Just don’t tell anyone.

Donnie watches him carefully. He’s unlike the Raph he’s known—quieter, gentler, more stable. He’s the foundation, not the flame. And that’s confusing. But also comforting? Donnie starts to see what Raph could be like without the constant pressure to prove himself. It makes him want to check in on his own Raph more often.

What 2012!Donnie thinks of Rise!Mikey

“This Mikey manifests mystic energy in highly variable, almost whimsical forms. An ‘artist’ who fights with what appears to be a superheated, psychically controlled kusari-fundo. His energy levels are comparable to our Mikey’s, which is, frankly, exhausting to even consider. His contributions seem erratic, yet occasionally, surprisingly effective. The physics of his abilities are … perplexing.”

Donnie observes this Mikey and his mystic kusari-fundo with keen, analytical interest. He finds his energy projection, weaponized art, and “Dr. Delicate Touch” persona to be highly irregular and fascinating from a scientific and psychological standpoint. While he doesn’t gravitate towards the artistic approach, he can’t deny its surprising combat efficacy.

He’s chaos incarnate, and Donnie wants to study him. He uses creativity the way Donnie uses machines—like a weapon. Watching him lift spirits and push limits, it hits him: has he been underestimating his own Mikey this whole time?

This Mikey is like his little brother given mystic energy and permission to go full creative god-mode. It’s ridiculous—and weirdly inspiring. When Donnie sees Rise!Mikey turn wild ideas into real solutions, it clicks: his own Mikey’s brain isn’t like his, but it’s no less brilliant. Maybe it’s time to stop calling his plans “dumb” before hearing them out.

“Dude! Another Mikey! And he’s got fire chains?! JEALOUS!”

2012!Mikey instantly vibes with Rise!Mikey, seeing a kindred spirit in his creativity, imagination, and love for his brothers. Awed by his art and mystic powers, he feels completely understood.

He’s like the version of himself who was never told to tone it down.

This version of him is vibrant, mystical, and bold. An artist with a warrior’s soul. He isn’t just tolerated by his brothers; he’s valued.

It hits hard. Mikey knows he’s treated as the comic relief, but Rise!Mikey is a wild card who is also a pillar—funny yet wise, and soft without being weak.

He’s proud and a little sad, because he now sees he could have been more than the joke guy all along—if only his brothers had taken him seriously sooner.

What 2012!Mikey thinks of Rise!Leo

“Whoa, their Leo is so cool! He makes jokes, and he teleports! It’s like he’s got his own awesome catchphrases! Our Leo needs to lighten up and learn some of those moves! He seems super fun, and those swords are wicked!”

Mikey thinks this Leo is the epitome of cool—confident, flashy, and funny. His fighting style is slick, the portals mind-blowing, and Mikey is an instant fan. He’d probably nudge his own Leo and whisper, “See? That’s how you lead with style!”

This Leo is hilarious, and Mikey loves it. But he also sees the layers—the hard work behind the jokes—which makes him wish his own brother would loosen up a little.

Mikey loves this Leo. He’s hilarious and dramatic, but underneath all that swagger, Mikey sees someone who deeply cares. He wishes his own Leo would let loose like that and decides to mess with him more. For his own good, of course.

What 2012!Mikey thinks of Rise!Raph

“Their Raph is HUGE! And he makes giant glowing fists! That is SO animesque! He was their leader? And he’s all sweet and cries and stuff? Awww, he’s like a giant, super-strong teddy bear who can totally smash things! Way different from our Raph, but super cool in his own way!”

Mikey is floored by Rise!Raph, fascinated that he was their former leader and is so openly emotional. He finds his affection endearing and would probably try to hug him, much to his own Raph’s annoyance. To Mikey, the stark contrast with his own gruff brother is incredibly cool.

He’s like a warm blanket with fists, so different from Mikey’s Raph, and he feels genuinely safe around him. He treats his brothers with a softness that makes Mikey wonder why his Raph never does the same—and if he thinks Mikey doesn’t need it.

Mikey feels safe with him in a way he doesn’t with his own Raph. This one is more soft-spoken and gentle, offering a comforting energy instead of tough-love yelling. It makes Mikey wonder if his own Raph always wanted to lead with that kind of heart but simply didn’t know how.

What 2012!Mikey thinks of Rise!Donnie

“Dude! Their Donnie is like, a super-scientist rock star! His shell transforms, and he’s all dramatic and stuff! ‘By the power of SCIENCE!’ Ha! Our Donnie could use some of that pizzazz! His tech looks awesome, like it could make even bigger explosions!”

Mikey is totally jazzed by Rise!Donnie’s theatrical inventions and dramatic declarations. He loves the purple aesthetic and thinks this Donnie makes being smart look incredibly exciting and action-packed.

Mikey thinks he’s absolutely nuts—and he loves it. To him, this mad scientist in power armor in the form of a battle shell, with his absurd tech and theatrical flair, is what his Donnie would be like if he finally stopped being “responsible” and just went off the rails.

Mikey is obsessed. This Donnie is extra in the best way: a pure tech diva who never hides who he is. Mikey realizes his own brother could use a little more of that fearless weirdness.

BONUS: Overall as a team

Learning that the Rise!Team’s Splinter is a lazy, ex-movie star is a massive shock for the 2012!Turtles. The stark contrast to their own wise, stern, and traditional father figure is difficult for them to process.

The sheer chaos of the Rise!Team is something to behold, making the 2012!Turtles feel orderly by comparison. The Rise!Team’s fighting style, a mix of mystic powers and individualistic flair, is completely different from their own synchronized ninjutsu.

The 2012!Turtles are initially alarmed by the Rise!Team’s lack of traditional discipline. But then they’d see them pull off incredible feats. There’s a period of adjustment, of trying to understand the Rise!Team’s dynamic.

Slowly, they find common ground in their love for pizza, their dedication to protecting the city, and the unbreakable bond of brotherhood—even if it’s expressed very differently.

The 2012!Team learns adaptability from their counterparts, who in turn learn about traditional focus, creating a weird, loud, and surprisingly heartwarming cultural exchange.

I’m absolutely deranged right now BUT

2012 AU where April is the only one left. Ever. Life on other planets is gone too. The turtles got warped into a cosmic eldritch state (technically gods but like them as people are for sure super dead). The remnants of them follow April.

Donnie is now a force of inspiration, Raph of strength and passion, Mikey of chaos, and Leo of clarity and stealth.

April travels dimension in their ship now, searching for a world just like hers that she can just hop into. Since the multiverse is infinite but she no longer ages she can search infinitely. This drives her a little insane obviously. She’s also run into a LOT of worlds where one of the main four or splinter is dead or where they don’t exist at all.

Then she crashes into ROTTMNT world. Wants a break to hang out there for a moment. Needs a break.

Anyway, then the Rise gang has to deal with this alternate dimension “”April”” who’s clearly Unwell mentally but also can keep up with every turtle in their respective field for some reason?

April goes “MIKEY! Why’re you so small here? You still a weirdo? Good. RAPH! Whoah are you guys different species here? Donnie! You’re even more purple that I was expecting, nice! Can you help me with a tracker—LEOOoooo…. there’s nothing familiar about you to me! but I am happy to see you too!”

After a LOT of convincing they let her stay. They slowly bond discussing their dimensions differences. Eventually April starts saying some really weird things, asking questions about death in fits of solemness, talking to herself as though the tmnt are there, stuff like that. Especially to Rise!April.

Rise!Donnie after snooping investigating her stuff gets it in his head that she had gone insane and killed everyone and was plotting to kill them. His evidence? The braided cloth she wore around her neck was actually all their masks.

Rise!Raph calms him down like “hey. That’s crazy.”

Leo integers with the evidence that SHE (Other [2012] April) is crazy.

Mikey, who’s been oddly silent and hasn’t stopped staring at the masks, (the only one who’s put the empathetic pieces together of the loss April must be going through) begins to ask “What if she just—“

Other April is standing in the doorway with her hockey stick, casting a shadow on all of them. She’s visibly furious, and honestly terrifying as she rushes toward the brothers.

Instead of attacking them, though, she just shoves them out of the way and frantically begins braiding the masks back together.

“You can’t separate them,” she scolded, panic and anger and a deep forlorn in her voice. “They have to stay together. How’d YOU feel if I tore you from your bro—“

She stops realizing how they’re all looking at her. Apologizes. Says she’ll leave now.

Mikey says wait and asks very very gently if she’d like to talk about it. Other April stops. Then breaks down a little.

One emergency session with the whole family gathered later, Shedder asks Other April to begin talking, if she’s ready. She numbly shrugs and says “it’s a short story. I lost everything.”

Splinter goes into a really wise and comforting lecture about how there’s always something left as long as she’s around but Other April snappily stops him.

“You don’t understand. I lost EVERYTHING. It’s not just my dad, or Splinter, or Casey, or Leo, Mikey, Raph, or Donnie. It’s all gone. I can never go home because I don’t have a home to go back to.” She starts tearing up, processing emotions she’s spent lifetimes avoiding with her search. “When Earth was destroyed I thought ‘that’s it. I’ll never be sad again. I just watched billions of people die, I watched my whole life—every human’s entire world—implode. How do you even grieve that?.”

She explains her whole story, though the others ask a lot of questions when she gets to what exactly happened to the turtles, and her goal of finding a home exactly like hers but without an April.

They all agree she’s 100% insane, but genuine, and IS their friend. Lots of good family stuff happens and In the end, Other April is unable to be convinced to abandon her mission of finding HER friends again, but is a lot less one-minded about it. Donnie helps rig her up a way to track the dimensions she’s in both so she can search easier and so she can return eventually.

They all say goodbye, Rise!April gives her the biggest hug imaginable and a bunch of weapons. The boys send her off with a copy of just about every Lou Jitsu and JJ film they can think of, and she’s off.

I know there's episodes and comics where the TMNT are in ancient Japan in samurai armour.

[I know there's an episode of them in an old European setting but this is different. I have seen 87 Leo as a musketeer.]

But the idea is the turtle in a full suit of armour, like European armor, or Alphonse Elrics armour. That is kinda stuck in my head.

And all because I was thinking about what they could wear to blend in, and armour or very big robes, is the best I could think of.

They're ment to be stealthy, but when the best stealth technique in the moment is a clanking suit of armour, then so be it!

Though a few of the other guards might be jealous of the tails if applicable to the Turtles in the scenario.

While familiar faces like Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael routinely navigate its bizarre streetscapes, battling mystical threats and befriending peculiar denizens, a new, equally resourceful young hero is quietly making her mark: Corey Jones. Not one for the spotlight, unlike her more boisterous twin brother, Casey Jr., Corey operates with a blend of stealth, intellect, and a dash of daredevil spirit that positions her uniquely within her family.

Corey’s quiet brilliance often goes unnoticed amidst the high-octane hijinks of the Turtles and her twin. Where Casey Jr. might charge in with a hockey stick, Corey prefers precision, preparation, and, most importantly, discretion. Her current obsession? A highly ambitious personal project – a cutting-edge device that, she believes, could revolutionize interdimensional travel or energy sourcing – but it requires a very specific, highly volatile mystical component. And the only place to find it, according to her meticulously compiled research, is deep within the labyrinthine depths of the Hidden City.

Her solo infiltration was a masterclass in urban stealth. Dressed in dark, flexible gear, equipped with an array of Donnie-esque gadgets (some borrowed, some reverse-engineered, all significantly upgraded), Corey slipped past spectral street sweepers and shimmering, multi-limbed vendors. She ghosted through bustling marketplaces scented with alien spices and ancient magic, her movements as fluid as the shadows themselves. Her target: a rarely charted sector of the Hidden City known only in obscure ancient texts, said to be a nexus of raw, untamed mystical energy.

Hours passed as Corey navigated crumbling arcane architecture and shimmering, illusory walls. Her internal compass, augmented by her tech, led her to a forgotten grotto, overgrown with luminous fungi and pulsating crystal flora. It was here, amidst a swirling mist that hummed with latent power, that she found it – not the expected guardian beast or arcane trap protecting the mystical artifact, but something far more delicate, yet undeniably potent: fae.

Dozens, perhaps hundreds, of tiny, luminous beings emerged from the mist. Their wings shimmered like iridescent oil slicks, their forms fluid and ever-shifting, sometimes resembling miniature humanoids, sometimes just motes of pure light. They had mischievous glints in their eyes, tinged with curiosity and ancient wisdom. Corey, expertly trained in observation, quickly realized they weren't hostile, but rather protective of the very magical nexus she sought to tap.

The artifact she needed – a "Shard of Whispering Starlight," as the fae called it – was central to their magical ecosystem, pulsing with an energy that sustained their ethereal existence. A direct grab was out of the question; the sheer number of fae, combined with their unknown, likely unpredictable, magical abilities, made any forceful approach suicidal.

Corey, quick-witted, didn't resort to force. Instead, she engaged in a delicate, almost whimsical negotiation. Drawing upon her scientific knowledge and her understanding of energy dynamics, she explained her project, sketching out complex schematics on a holographic display from her wrist-mounted device. She didn't seek to take the Shard permanently, but to borrow a fraction of its energy, promising a new, stable conduit that could potentially benefit their habitat without depleting their life source.

The fae, captivated by her human ingenuity and the promise of new "sparkles" for their world (in the form of data streams they could interact with, or perhaps even a more efficient magical flow), agreed to a temporary loan of the Shard's energy. It was a bizarre, almost unbelievable exchange – cutting-edge human technology bartered for ancient fae magic, facilitated by an ambitious teenage girl.

Her successful retrieval of the Shard's energy – and her unprecedented encounter with the Hidden City's elusive fae – isn't just a personal victory. It marks Corey Jones as a significant, albeit covert, player in the Hidden City's intricate web. Her project, now powered by the Whispering Starlight, promises to be even more extraordinary than she first imagined. And her secret alliance with the fae introduces a whole new, mystical dimension to the already sprawling lore.

Will her paths eventually cross with the Turtles, perhaps when her experimental device causes an unexpected temporal ripple, or when the fae require her unique blend of tech and understanding? Or will she continue to carve out her own secret niche in the dazzling, dangerous world beneath New York, a brilliant, stealthy force for good operating just beyond the Shell Bros.' radar? As the world continues to unfold, Corey Jones’s adventure stands as a testament to the boundless possibilities and hidden wonders yet to be discovered.

Ahah, well, I don't talk about them as much these days, seeing as me and Aden have basically adopted the cast of Fast Forward as our OCs...

But yes! I do have a couple! When it comes to TMNT there's two big ones!

The first one is one of my very first OCs, Mona Lisa! (I named her before I found out tmnt already had a Mona Lisa) Look at this!! I made this with a stolen base on MSPaint when I was like thirteen!!

You guys remember bases?? Do any of you remember those?? Crazy times...

She was at first someone's love interest I think? But as I worked on her she kind of morphed into just being the 03 turtles' little sister? She had a playful rivalry with Raph and clung to Leo specifically a lot, to the point of going with him to see the Ancient One and then watching him go through his lessons like "I'm just along for the ride this is your business man" lmao

Anyways now check out her awesome updated character ref that I made when TMNT 03 hyperfix reawakened in me a few years ago! I can happily report she got fluffier! :D Also her eyeliner slays now!

(don't mind the "about a year older" note, I might make her the little sister again tbh)

She has pronouns now! Also yes she ate toxic waste. The idea is that after Splinter and the turtles left the place where they came into contact with the mutagen, a stray cat passed by and ate some of it. And now she's a little freak!

I had her participation in the ENTIRE SHOW planned out. She would affect the plot in smaller or bigger ways, notably I gave her her own dragon for the fight in season five but decided since she's not a turtle, her dragon would be fluffier, taking on her fur and horns shaped like her throwing stars, as well as butterfly/moth wings!

To this day she is my favorite, but I don't do much of anything with her these days... (Here's her ToyHouse if any of y'all care about that)

Another one I have is teeechnically my sona, Lockdown AKA Trauma! He's based on a snake-necked turtle but through trying to shape him to fit the 03 artstyle she's become a bit of a dinosaur and I love it that way tbh!! It has a tendency to wear seven billion accessories and outfits and is very very extra! (Again, TH here!)

If they existed for real in the tmnt 03 universe they would be in one of three places: 1) getting caught by the EPF, cussing out Bishop and getting killed instantly, 2) working for the EPF and designing all those god damn mugs Bishop owns, or 3) selling illegal substances to Torbin Zixx for half the price because he's very polite and brings her treats from Earth she can't get herself. Speaking of the AHC AU, an OC a regular visitor of my blog might ACTUALLY be vaguely familiar with would be Ro Glowborn! They are one of Bishop's bodyguards that look after the Kanabos and Cody, and are a Jeskyr, which is a Fast Forward alien species I made up!

Despite her stature, Ro is great at stealth missions, though they have to wear little caps on their lekku (the fleshy antennae, I'm stealing the word from Star Wars) and tail because they glow in the dark! (A clue to why he's named Glowborn, aha)

Fun fact, Ro was originally a very elaborate Among Us OC I made for a roleplay! I was assigned imposter, so Ro was a kill-for-hire!

I kept their lethality and just turned them into a person with morals :) (If you wanna see more of this guy, their TH is hereeee!)

Thank you for bringing my OCs up because I LOOOVE to show them off. As the AHC AU progresses there will definitely be more of them showing up. character sheets for my fan iteration I like apocalyptic settings so I thought it would be fun to set a tmnt iteration in. The setting was caused by the discovery of a ruined krang ship (no one knows what happened to them) and the discovery of the tech set of an arms race so you know one basic ass humanity causing its own down fall later funny setting happens. The foot is a faction that controls the ruins of NYC and they used some secretions from the modified krang tech from the war to create mutagen. I haven’t designed splinter yet but these guys left after an accident that happened to Donnie.

the war time weaponry I wanted to make it look like they crammed the krang’s biomechanical tech into existing models. The tech in guns is mostly used as an ammo source that’s easy to fuel and also as a way to put more power in it.

this is very much a work in progress as I’m still doing some ideas for the world

Fun fact Oroku saki thought these guys would mature at the age of regular turtles so they got sent to fight rival factions at around 7 to 8 the only one who wasn’t deployed before leaving was Leo

also splinter taught them to prioritize stealth so the guns they carry are only for emergency purposes due to loud. anyway someone get them a therapist

Mikey:

for some stupid reason I made Mikey the oldest and therefore the leader (it’s so joever) he uses humor as a coping mechanism with jokes mostly making fun of hand he was dealt the such as “imagine being child soldier couldn’t be me” he also uses art as a way to relieve stress. He very much does not like being leader. He is the most agile due to his size.

Raph:

raph is the biggest guy who will willingly throw himself in front of his brothers for their safety. He seems to like gardening and helped Donnie make a greenhouse to grow food. It’s also a way to destress for him. (still figuring out stuff 💀)

Donnie:

ah yes the guy. The accident in question was due to him tinkering with land mines he was supposed to place and one fell and blew up (skill issue) since then instead of having a normal reaction it made him more interested in technology especially the war era ones. He does not care if he gets hurt while messing around with building things and due to this splinter has placed a rule where he has to be supervised which that responsibility usually falls to Leo.

Leo:

ah yes the only one without a body count. He wanted to learn more about medical stuff after Donnie’s accident as that was kinda his wake up call into noticing this world dangerous. He does not like the idea of killing. He’s kinda innocent to some things and a lot more optimistic than the others. (Still figuring things out for him)

a friend has been helping me with personality stuff as I’m not that good at this and I usually focus more on the world itself still figuring out how to tell the story :3

Easy TMNT episode shorthand: if the episode takes place on Casey’s family property, it’s gonna be a good one. These episodes seem to always have character focus, jokes and ninja stealth action aplenty. It helps that most of the time the gang comes here when the Turtles need to recover from some big fight. Using injured characters limits the scope the fights can take and the healing process aids the focus on characterization. Even the episode with Casey’s mom required the Turtles to stay hidden, just for different reasons.

My only complaint is that this episode didn’t utilize Raph properly. He had plenty of lines, but most of it was limited to one of two jokes, either calling people boneheads or his bones cracking when he tries to do something. Considering this is the only time I recall Raph being this badly injured in the show, and how he doesn’t seem to get half the traumatizing stuff his brothers do, it really does feel like the writers are actively avoiding writing Raph as being vulnerable like that, which is really weird, considering how hard he took Leo’s coma.

It's something to keep an eye out as a possible pattern.

Gah, I love Turtles of Grayskull!

I'm on record for rambling about how much I love MOTU origins, an action figure line that provides solid value, craftsmanship, and a sense of fun in an era where everything is increasingly none of those things.

And Turtles of Grayskull understands both its contributors spirits intimately in a way many nostalgia projects don't.

Because nostalgia remembers the cool very easily. But it rarely remembers the silly and the stupid-fun.

You buy a bus ticket to "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" or "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" and you have to know that route will be winding almost exclusively through Historical Crazytowne.

And the Turtles of Grayskull/MOTU Origins team gets this. This isn't some Batman/TMNT crossover where they give you a bunch of cool mutant Arkham Villains and deny you toys of them (but a Michaelangelo wearing the bat-cowl is worth a sculpt, eye-roll).

Recent-ish stuff to ramble about:

Okay, not only is this just an awesome Hordak variant, he's conceptually blended with Lord Draxum. You've got the mutant bat-wings, to go with Hordak's vampire thing, but his shapeshifting weapon arm from the toon is very clearly a mutagen-blaster evoking the mutagen-mosquitos. You've got the shoulder pads evoking Draxum's little gargoyle boys. Fantastique!

I had wondered who Casey was taking inspiration from for awhile, but apparently the lore got revealed from his packaging, he's combined... with the WEAPON RACK/Pack.

Well, technically he raided it, but it's a clever option when it would have been easy to just put him in Man-at-Arms gear or give him a Man-E-Faces gimmick. Deep cuts are appreciated, as is that delightful amount of accessory swag.

Stealth Leo is just a cool Leonardo figure. He's the reason for my hypothesis that Mattel is low-key pitching to be the main TMNT figure company. April gets a sweet power up by being Combined with Zo-ar and the Sorceress, and the amount of new sculpting is impressive there. Nobody would have blinked if she'd been 90% Sorceress parts, so I appreciate it.

He-Man goes stealth ninja after he's de-mutated. that's cool I guess, but He's probably going to wind up with a different head when I get him. Skeletor, however, is everything you want in a repaint guy. 90s neon? Check, kusari-gama with goat skulls? Check. Tube of mutagen? Check. He's obviously a premold for the 2005 Samurai Skeletor but who cares? He's green!

Splinter-Skull is mostly OG Playmates Splinter, down to the face design, but he's got just enough King Grayskull in him to keep him a fun hybrid. In fiction, this is is the spirit of Grayskull taking on a form to match both sets of heroes asking for his help. Fun!

Leatherhead, on the other hand, is just Mattel auditioning to make normal TMNT toys again. Toss some WWEternia legs with some pants on that guy and he's basically the best and most in-scale Leatherhead to not come out of NECA. I look forward to the use of that tail on many, many snakemen related characters to come.

And yet there's more!

I thought this was going to be a four-wave limited thing. But apparently they're just keeping the train rolling until the wheels fall off, to which I say...

Wave 5 has been semi-revealed (no pics yet) and it's:

Variant Donatello, Variant Raphael, Mekaneck, and Rattlor!

Donnie and Raph are going to be costume variants like Stealth Leo, though I'm hoping they're not also stealth versions, because there's tons of other options to pull from.

My druthers would be them with accessory pak themes (cliff climber Raph, Scuba-Attack Donnie (to nod at the wind-up swimming donnie toy), etc). The Dontatello #1 gauntlet could be a fun accessory, and I wouldn't say no to a "slime pit zombie" Raph, but we'll have to wait and see.

The real thing that has me hyped is Mekaneck and Rattlor. I love reptile-people, and the Snake-Men give me a lot of them, so I'm always glad to get more options.

Mekaneck is one of the dorkiest MOTU characters and is thus one of my favorites. He's immensely goofy, and his origin implies that Man-at-Arms decided to fix the guy's broken neck by chopping off his head and giving him an extendable robotic spine. He also has the advantage of just being somebody's dad.

His son is named Philip, by the way.

I can't imagine them not making Mekaneck a wildly mutated weirdo. They had to pack his origins figure in with the road ripper to make him appealing, so I'm pretty sure he's gonna be a mutant. Fingers crossed for a giraffe head. Bonus points if its some kinda blue eternian giraffe or something.

And Rattlor, man, I want him to be a full on character hybrid so bad. Options: Tokka (snappers do have long necks), Snakeweed, Rat King (King Ratsnake?), Hothead & Scaletail.
