Were you planning to go Download this year and/or last?

I deffo wanted to go for System of a down! I'm gutted they're no longer on the bill! I am undecided about new year just yet because they really need to stop recycling the headline bands!

Super gutted the april tour got cancelled, so treated myself to Amsterdam tickets too!

Planning is stressful.

Coronavirus is making it incredibly hard to make tour plans! What with Italy on lockdown, I don't want to book my flights for the show to get cancelled. Logically I know that I still have the better part of 4 months, but I hate waiting to book flights because they just become more expensive. 

Then there's the UK Dates and having to book it all off work and finding travel and accommodation. I'm also going to have to find time to work in between these dates because I do not have enough holiday or saving to just book the whole time off. 

Planning. is. Stress. 

(Even if I know it is all going to be worth it in the end!)

In honour of Nothing is True & Everything is Possible, im going to dig out some old Shikari photos/videos i have taken over the years. 

Enter Shikari are one of my all time favourite bands and will always hold a special place in heart for being the first band i ever saw live. 

Also, with the state of the world as it is, its important to hold on to the things we love. Once this is all over and we are in a safer place we can all reconvene and become a sweaty mess in the pit once more.

Proper gutted about the amount of shows getting cancelled. I feel as though half my plans are going to be cancelled in the upcoming weeks which is devastating. The government just need to get us on lockdown. Get on top of this virus so we can get on with life. Delaying the inevitable will only result in more casualties therefore just pull the plug already, no?

We can live without these gigs and festivals as much as we don’t want to. But this has already gone on to long and it's time they begun to act on it.

It's been just over 2 years since the Seaway tour and it's an experience I will never forget. I originally decided to start this blog in order to share my experience following bands with my friends. This was one of the first tours I embarked on and it is the one that sets the standard for the rest.

Along with my 2 friends, we hired the biggest van we could and kitted it out; Blow up mattresses, blankets, duvets, pillows and snacks galore. We did 7 out of the 8 UK dates, missing only Glasgow. We spent the week exploring the country and living out the back of our van, dubbed Casa De Cool Hands.

Thinking back it probably wasnt the smartest plan but it was a fantastic experience nonetheless.

Here's to many more adventures on tour....
