Hello, sorry if this is a weird question but I read your intro and it said that you Successful Transitions to having Asthma and Insomnia and I was wondering how you did it and if you have any tips bc those are two of my TransIDs I'm working on transitioning to /NF ^^``
Hihihi!!!
Insomnia
- caffeine!!!!
- sleep with a lot of technology
- drink water and keep lights on during the night, and move around frequently
- sleep a lot during the day!
Asthma was easier since I had it as a kid, but I used subliminals I found on YouTube! :3
Hope this helped <3

do u have voice training tips? ur voice is actually goals
Sure thing!
So the basics I learned are pretty much this (Also just to note, I'm not a speech therapist, this is just stuff I've learned, I'm not a trained professional!)
RESONANCE IS KEY
Resonance is where your voice "sits" when you speak, so hum and feel roughly where your voice is coming from. If you're trans femme, and don't have much experience with voice training, it'll probably be in your throat, it's hard to explain but it's just where your voice feels like it sits. What you wanna do is move that up towards your nose/lips, the best way to practice that is by humming. So take a deep breath, and hum, feel where your voice is now, and try to move it up towards your head, put your fingers on your nose/lips to help get a feel for it being there too!
Once you've got a handle on that, the majority of the work is just practicing that! Try humming a bunch in a row, holding it in your nose/lips as much as you can. Once you've got that down, do sirening. Sirening is starting low down with your resonance, and moving it up to your face, then back down again. You'll make a kinda ambulance siren sound doing this, it's silly, but that's part of it! Do this a few times over to get a feel for it. And that's pretty much it! It's just practicing that over and over! Once you've got a good hold on that, try saying letters and words, then sentences, while holding your resonance in your face, you're kinda relearning how to speak so it takes some practice!
Keep an eye (or ear) out for vocal strain. If at any point you feel like your throat is tight or tired or strained, stop, and take it easy. Last thing you want to do is hurt youself and set yourself back! Drinking lots of water, or tea with honey can help soothe your throat (or try some Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa, literal miracle solution), as well as doing all that humming each time to help warm up your voice!
Now pitch can play a part, but don't stress about it! The majority of a natural femme voice is in the resonance, not the pitch. This doesn't mean you can't practice a higher pitch to go with your resonance, just don't be worried about it as much! Remember, when you speak, your voice resonates in your skull, making it sound deeper and richer to you than other people hearing you (It's why hearing your voice in a recording sounds weird to you, you're hearing what other people hear, not just what you hear!)
Singing can also help, I usually sing in the car or shower (though if you're doing straight into this with no warmup be careful of vocal strain) to help stretch my range a bit, and ngl I sang a bunch of Sabaton on the way to and from my vocal therapy appointments
One thing you might wanna do, is a kinda transition timeline of your voice! So record your early stuff, reading passages from books or poems or other things you like, and keep your vocal training going, recording as you go, then after a while go back and compare where you are now!
That's pretty much all I can think of, I hope this all helps!!

Just saw a thread about hrt and balding, so I wanna share my experience.
I've been on HRT for 2 years, almost 3. And the balding is very VERY real - my father is completely bald, so idk what I was expecting.
And, of course, it makes me really insecure, since I wanted to grow my hair down to my chest and still do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
my hairline around 6 months on T and now. I used to shave the sides but I'm sure you can still see it
So please if you don't want to go bald
1)VITAMIN D AND VITAMIN C AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Even if you are not yet on T, but starting it in a few months, C and D are amazing for your hair! I used to have ~30 hairs fall out while I shower, now it's just 2-3 hairs!
2) Saw palmetto is something my endocrinologist suggested to me and IT WORKS! It's a medication for prostate health, but it actually makes your hair stronger and prevents hair loss!
3) DON'T USE CHEAP HAIR PRODUCTS! Once you go on T, your hair will completely change it's texture. And you'll have to find new products that suit it.

Okay I'm gonna be so for real? I haven't written a blog in literal years. I just thought someone out there could find this useful or comforting if I documented my transition. I'm in college right now and reader? This is not even my first try at transitioning. I have transphobic parents and I am terrified that they'll find out I'm transitioning in school. I'll talk more about that later. We've just met, let me be normal before I start divulging you into my anxiety. I'm a sophomore in college. If my school had frats I'd fit right in, not in an asshole way, if that tells you anything. Unfortunately I wasn't blessed with a passable face. I'm gonna level with you here reader, I'm not skinny either, further complicating my ability to fit in. I've been midsize since I was 9. I could blame it on a few different things. I got my first device when I was 9 and I was an art kid, not an athlete. I started puberty too and I have a hormone condition that's made the whole experience worse than it could've been. On the topic of said condition, it's the bane of my identity. I realized I'm not a girl in 4th grade. Between me and you, it's because I watched Ouran Highschool Host Club. Loser. I didn't know girls could be boys though. But then I started trying to come out to my mom. Never my dad, he was not an emotionally sensitive guy. At first she'd just blame it on my period and starting my period so young. It isn't untrue that I got my period kind of young, I was 9. I think it's unfair to treat that like it discredits my identity.
But I digress, I'm getting kind of distracted. I found out I have PCOS when I was 13 or 14, I don't really remember anymore. If you don't know, the simple explanation is that cysts grow on my ovaries and my testosterone is too high. Sounds awesome right? I would only be so lucky. It makes me sad and angry and I break out all over my body and my periods are like I'm being ki11ed. Because of this, my mom blames my PCOS for me saying I'm trans? Dude...I'm 20 now. I've been dealing with this bullshit for 6 years now. It's definitely not the hormone condition. I quit birth control last year and got an IUD at the beginning of this school year. Best decision I've made for my body but I'm gonna be honest? Careful with hormonal birth control. It brainwashed me into acting like a woman and I am being so very serious when I say that. The point of saying all that though is that being trans is complicated. It's okay to change your mind a few times.
Moving on. I've realized the easiest part of transitioning is telling your professors your preferred name. Lightwork, no reaction. Fitting in and passing? That's where the challenge has presented itself. Some things I've learned about men
They keep everything in their front pockets?? Wallet sometimes in the back pocket but usually not.
WIDE STRIDE. It doesn't matter if they're tall or not. I'm a short king if you will. I cannot keep up with guys the same height as me. They step so wide and for what.
Hands in the pockets!!! And you know what? I started walking with my hands in my pockets and feel like it's made me look more masculine
Stop waving at people, just nod at them???
I will admit I can't figure out what the situation where it's okay to dap someone up is. I'm also autistic which has complicated my ability to discern such things. I'll keep you posted on that one. I imagine you're wondering why it sounds like I'm trying to fit in with straight men. That would be because I kind of am. I'm a criminal justice major, which is a department in my school that's dominated by athletes. I hate to stick out I thought I liked being different but I actually don't like when people are staring at me. It's uncomfortable and I feel like the longer they stare the more feminine traits they'll notice and the facade of manhood will be clear as glass to them. Yeah anyway that's all for today, I'll probably post again in like 3 days or a week idk. I'll try not to be so disorganized next time.

"oh what if i just-" no thats the devil talking, eat a proper amount plus a tiny bit more. youre growing, everyone needs more when growing. you wanna get thinner and grow tits? go for walks or something.
i know girls on hrt for half as long but with just as much or bigger boobs than me cause they didnt skip meals or treat adderall and sugar free energy drinks as breakfast
I’ve shared this bit of advice before, but it’s worth sharing again.
I am almost 8 years on HRT and before I even started taking estrogen, spiro, or progesterone, my doctor looked me in the eyes and asked a very important question…
She asked: “Do you want big boobs?”
I said yes, I wanted something that matched my frame.
She immediately told me: “Then do not go on a diet, maintain your fat, because your body will be using that and whatever you’re eating to build up your breasts and other features.”
And bless her because I’m rocking an H Cup these days.
So my trans girlies who are just starting out, I offer that bit of advice to you as well.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
astro obs pt 3
hey guys! I hope you all are fine :) hope you enjoy this post
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Venus in Sagittarius people are so in and out of love so very quickly. In the moment it seems that they are so in love but the colours fade away very suddenly. I assume it usually can be surprising to them as well because I think they don’t think their feelings through that well anyways. They might also love the idea of love from distance mostly! However once they have anchored themselves on someone or something, it’s their world.
Tumblr media
Venus in Leo people like people to admire and validate their romantic partners I have seen. Almost like, see I have such a shining golden trophy.. I very much think these people admire mass appeal themselves so it may be a part of that thing. But they do love loud and proud for the most part. They like sociable people as partners is one more thing.
Tumblr media
Venus in Libra people are other folks I have seen you’d never see with questionable or eccentric choices in partners. They usually want people that are admired or at least socially acceptable, someone they don’t have to defend or explain. Also, LOOKS ARE IMPORTANT lol.
Tumblr media
Venus in Cancer people are the types to put their family before their partners a lot many times. They do try to be nurturing and kind in relationships, and very much are, but they need that warmth first to give it back, Also very nostalgic and don’t move on very fast, In love with memories. Also very confused and non confrontational in matters of love. I don’t know why but most people I have seen with this placement low-key like the grief that comes with love.
Tumblr media
Venus in Virgo people are super avoidant about topics of love for some reason, they usually don’t speak about it very openly and loudly. Conversely, these people don’t speak but SHOW their love. They show it, prove it, even if they may not be able to articulate it well. They should never be with a person who likes to HEAR more than SHOW. I have often seen they don’t give up until the very last straw :(
Tumblr media
Venus in Scorpio people may have this thing of having “rebound partners”. They may or may not pursue this desire depending on how self aware they are. They may actually create a situation like that somehow knowingly or unknowingly lol. They might also like the idea of showing off their current partner to their exes, not because they still like them but as a form of a revenge almost lol
Tumblr media
Venus in Taurus people do not like the roller coaster love I have seen. I mean if you are SUPER in your feels type of person they might not be able to understand it a lot. They’d like to understand if they are genuinely into you tho but won’t keep up with that attitude for too long I have seen.
Tumblr media
Venus in Aries people are actually people who love bravely, someone who would STAND UP for you, but at the same time they are also quick to scapegoat, I would say they are rather unpredictable and volatile in matters of love. I have seen people with this placement can be SUPER LOYAL and fixed on their partners and also cheat on them in heat of the moment intentionally or unintentionally. Unpredictable is the right word loll
Tumblr media
Venus in Gemini people are the realest people to not give 2 fs and move on pretty fast not Venus in Sag people lol. I have seen they like to live in the moment and enjoy stuff for what it is now, It is usually easy for them to have their foot out if something happens or just because they aren’t feeling it enough. Many people I have seen with this placement either give or like that hot/cold treatment just to have something going in the relationship lol.
Tumblr media
Ok I don’t want to be offensive but Venus in Aquarius people DO love people who are intellectually curious and able to hold conversations with them and talk about deep things with them, but more than intellectually stimulating and being open to “wider perspectives ” they usually like someone who’s rather agreeable I have seen. Venus in Sag are far more accommodating to a partner with conflicting views because it kinda becomes disrespectful to these people if you are not agreeable to them mentally and intellectually yk.
Tumblr media
Venus in Capricorn folks usually “delay” falling in love no matter how much they have options or how many people like them. I think they really have some “mental timing” of most things especially love and like if it falls into that bracket or it can probably give them severe doubt and anxiety (for example: finishing school, getting that job, making that money). They are very loyal and would stand through thick and thin but usually do not like to have a struggle in love.
Tumblr media
until the next time xx

Let's talk about transitions.
Transitioning between fast-paced and slow-paced scenes is essential for maintaining the flow of your narrative and keeping readers engaged throughout your story, allowing for moments of reflection, introspection, and character development.
Here are some strategies to smoothly transition between different pacing levels:
Use scene endings and beginnings: End a fast-paced scene with a cliffhanger or revelation that propels the story forward, then transition to a slower-paced scene that allows characters (and readers) to process the events. On the flip side, begin a slow-paced scene with a hook or question that intrigues readers and draws them deeper into the story.
Bridge paragraphs: Include bridge paragraphs between scenes to provide a smooth transition. These paragraphs can briefly summarize the previous scene's events, set the scene for the upcoming events, or transition between different settings, characters, or points of view.
Change in tone or focus: Shift the tone or focus of the narrative to signal a change in pacing. For example, transition from a tense action scene to a quieter moment of reflection by shifting the narrative focus from external events to internal thoughts and emotions.
Utilise pacing within scenes: Even within a single scene, you can vary the pacing to create transitions. Start with a fast-paced opening to grab the reader's attention, then gradually slow down the pacing as you delve deeper into character interactions, dialogue, or introspection. Conversely, speed up the pacing to inject energy and excitement into slower scenes.
Symbolic transitions: Use symbolic elements within the narrative to signal transitions between pacing levels. For example, transition from a fast-paced scene set during a stormy night to a slow-paced scene set in the calm aftermath of the storm, mirroring the shift in pacing.
Foreshadowing: Use subtle foreshadowing in fast-paced scenes to hint at upcoming events or conflicts that will be explored in slower-paced scenes. This creates anticipation and helps to smoothly transition between different pacing levels by maintaining continuity in the narrative arc.
Character reactions: Show how characters react to the events of fast-paced scenes in the subsequent slower-paced scenes. Use their thoughts, emotions, and actions to provide insight into the impact of these events on the story and its characters, helping to bridge the transition between pacing levels.
See my post on pacing for more! ❤

Sesquiquadrate or sesquisquare : it is a slightly difficult aspect. This is when two planets aren't willing to work together... And in that case it is recommended to not force it and just give in..

Would you maybe do permahospitalized tips? (Without actually going to the hospital)
Tumblr media
Perma Hospitalized
Keep your room minimal and clean ! Hospitals don’t have clutter, so try to keep surfaces clear and only have essential items !! Sterilizing your area with disinfectant once a week can help with that clean / hospital smell !
Get a hospital - style bed setup ! White sheets, lightweight blankets, and maybe even an adjustable bed frame if possible !!
Consider adding a bedside table with water, tissues, and a small tray for a hospital feel ! If you can , getting those steel rolling trays to fill with care items can be even better !
Wear hospital gowns or loose pajamas for that patient aesthetic !! If hospital gowns aren’t comfy , oversized T-shirts and soft pajama pants work too !
Try using medical tape or bandages decoratively - wrap wrists, fingers, or arms for that medical touch !!
Use a medical wristlet !! Print this out , cut to fit , write your information and glue onto the red parts !
Tumblr media
Have a medical chart close to your bed !! Heres a whole website full of printable charts that you can fill out !!
Have a day-to-day plan !! Heres a default made by me to get started : 7:00 AM — Wake up & morning check-in (write in a health journal) 8:00 AM — Breakfast & morning meds (use vitamins or candy as "meds" if not needed) 10:00 AM — Light activity (watch TV, read, therapy-like journaling) 12:00 PM — Lunch & rest 2:00 PM — Pastime (drawing, listening to music, puzzles) 5:00 PM — Dinner & evening meds 7:00 PM — Wind down (relaxing bath, writing, low-energy hobbies) 9:00 PM — Bedtime (dim lights, ASMR hospital sounds, white noise machines)
Hope these helped !! Good luck my little patient <3
