Can't help but imagine that in the Lucky Clover AU, if Frisk were to manage to sneak away and end up befriending Undyne and the skelebros whilst everyone in the Dunes is probably having a panic attack (maybe Flowey caused a distraction or something, like some scaffolding collapsing causing everyone to focus on figuring out how that happened, giving Frisk the ability to sneak away), by the time Martlet finds them they've already managed to make the Underground a bit safer for at least themself.

Doesn't stop them from being grounded though-

That's exactly the plot set up I had in mind for this AU!

Even though Frisk is under very strict rules by Clover to not leave the Dunes without them, Frisk is constantly wandering off (perhaps influenced by a certain someone...) and exploring the other parts of the Underground. This is how Frisk eventually meets Papyrus, Sans, Undyne, Alphys, and others! And yes, Frisk is always grounded by Clover once they're eventually found and brought home. Doesn't stop them from sneaking out again, though. Clover is getting a taste of their own medicine trying to control this kid LOL.

TACO CAT GOAT CHEESE PIZZA: imagine all of them sitting around waiting to hit the card deck. Yeah. After one shift ending in a hospital visit it was banned

SECRET HITLER: apparently, hearing "YOU ARE THE FASCIST JUST ADMIT IT" isn't a calming thing to hear when walking into a fire station for help.

FAKE ARTIST GOES TO NEW YORK: similar reasons to above, but add on the fact that Buck always is said to be the fake artist when he really isn't, because his brain went around 25 corners. He swears it makes sense

HUES AND CLUES: at least two people found out they were colorblind trough this game (it was Chimney (in deep denial about it) and Bobby (accepted it))

WHAT DO YOU MEME?: Eddie is a technophobe and Bobby does not understand memes. The only people truly in on it are Chimney, Buck and Ravi

After being called old for the third time, Chimney banned the game

TRIAL BY TROLLEY: imagine the point with secret hitler and now apply it to this game. Yeah

Board games that have been banned at the 118 and why:

MONOPOLY: Ravi kept talking about real estate, Chim made an awkward lawsuit joke when Eddie got sent to jail and Buck kept demanding he be allowed to pay the bail.

SETTLERS OF CATAN: Buck and Eddie just simply end up sharing all their resources because they can't say no to each other. Buck said "thanks I'm so bricked up now" after Eddie traded him bricks once and Bobby threw the board off of the loft balcony.

CLUEDO: Chim has NO poker face (poker is ironically also banned after an LAFD wide notice was sent around following the poker date) and Bobby kept trying to call Athena for tips.

UNO: No one could agree on the rules and Hen ended up trying to use the official Uno twitter posts as proof and Bobby stormed off. On a second attempt, Chim started a +2 chain that went around the group twice and ended up with him having to pick up +16 cards, and as revenge he said the Q-word. Bobby burned the pack at the next group barbecue.

PICTIONARY- Eddie and Hen are too good at it because they've had to spend recent years deciphering their kids' drawings.

They also tried to do heads up but Buck didn't know any of the films and Eddie refused to use a phone for a "board game".
