Other migraine fun fact for migraine and headache awareness month: in the context of chronic migraine or chronic headache, “chronic” means something different than usual. Normally, chronic refers to a condition that’s long lasting (contrasted with an acute illness/injury/etc, which resolves relatively quickly), but episodic migraine is a chronic illness too— all people who get migraines generally keep getting them (with variations in frequency and severity) for decades if not their entire lives. Instead, the “chronic” in chronic headaches refers to the frequency (15+ headaches a month, for 3+ months). Chronic migraine is a more specific diagnosis where 8+ of those headaches days are migraines. Treatment options do differ slightly between chronic and episodic migraine so it’s something to keep in mind when looking into treatments, but people also consistently underestimate their number of headache days, so don’t just eyeball it. Just tracking information as basic as “I had/didn’t have a headache today” can be really helpful for your doctor, but there are lots of apps and templates that can help you track a lot more information if you’d like.

do you feel like buster bros is behind the other divisions in terms of character development? not that im saying didnt get anything at all, im just seeing other people complain that theres still a lot of questions left unanswered (like as to why ichiro wants nothing to do with rei/why he lied about rei to jiro and saburo in the first place)

y’know, i’d love to like, hear why this is a common thought about bb honestly. bc what you just used as examples are proof there’s still more to the yamada story despite all that we’ve been shown and further plot developments aren’t a bad thing????

like sure we don’t know why rei left his kids behind yet, but he did and that at its base, ignoring whatever mystery is left between rei and ichiro about nayuta, is enough to justify ichiro taking himself and his bros to an orphanage; they needed to be able to survive. why should ichiro tell his bros the father who left them is alive when he, in ichiro’s eyes, didn’t want anything more to do with them????

the orphanage director at the time was like a father to the bros, by ichiro’s words, so when ichiro’s inevitably betrayed by all parties around him and loses his brother’s trust in the process, he begins to only trust himself and that’s the crux of everything bb has gone thru since the start of the series; ichiro believes only in himself has a hard time placing trust in others and it’s dragged down everyone around him. my generation, the recent bb track, put a close to this particular arc for the bros, ichiro’s willing to let go and they can all further flourish. and that’s just ichiro’s arc, we can go all day about the inherited issues and how ichiro passed a lot of those hang ups to his brothers that they’ve been working themselves to unpack and unlearn (jiro not relying on others, saburo’s performance anxiety, etc)

and why just bb???? 😭😭😭😭 we’re getting an entire play to talk about juto’s backstory bc that is something that hasn’t been expanded upon, we don’t know the origins of the ramuda project or what exactly happened to niitaro, yotsutsuji still isn’t awake, neither is nayuta and kuukou arguably has the most unexplored background of the leaders at the very least. so why does bb get the flack for ‘lack of character development’ based on unknowns that the story’s just taking its sweet time getting to???

True Detective season 1 is an achievement of storytelling and the medium of television. I can’t even praise it by wishing to see it for the first time again because it’s just as enjoyable on the third watch as it is on the first if not more.

I think fundamentally speaking the world of hetalia does not work like ours. this is obvious because of mf countries being humans but i mean also on philosophical level too like i think if ghouls were real then tokyo ghoul could probably happen. if countries cultures were humanized hetalia would still not be able to occur. Unless we completely deconstructed our sensibilities and reshaped them from the ground up, looney tunes would never be real and something around the same can be said for hetalia. Although I think hetalia is slightly more leaning towards being able to be real compared to looney tunes; it's a sliding scale and hetalia is around where the muppets are at in terms of their sensibilities working in real life. Actually the more I think about it the more I do believe that people with hetalia-like sensibilities do exist, but they're incredibly rare and fucking crazy. Since I dont live hetalia life but i have lived always sunny in philadelphia in real life which is arguably even more implausible of happening. Like bro have you ever read the wikipedia page for the guy who holds the guiness world record for being struck my lightning the most times. that shit is fucking crazy i genuinely believe he was being hunted down a malovelent force and i dont believe in god or anything like that tbh but if i had to then i would say that is probably the second biggest red flag i have ever seen of a higher entity being real. So anyways I think if the bullshit he endured happened then someone having the same disposition and sensibilities as hetalia italy isn't that far out there actually. our world is magical and wonderful isnt it!! :D

Taking this into account, my vision of Itager plays by these rules (warped sensibilities). I think that if someone like Italy is real, then he is not going to be meeting anybody who likes Hetalia because Italy would not be into this gay shit. And i don't think italy could be considered himself anymore if we put him in the same mindset as a normal person in our society; he actually has to genuinely be like the person he is in the show. It's a tall order, but i do think that is reasonable and something that could feasibly happen with how many crazy and insane things that can happen on his planet, you just need to seek these things out! I'm sorry if this is hard to understand with my wording because I also started writing this long ago and kept forgetting to finish. BUT THANK YOU FOR SENDING AN ASK LIKE THIS I REALLY LOVE IT.
