WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!

From what I can tell, you've hintd at TS 12, Rep TV, and Debut TV within a very short time frame and then didn't announce anything tonight. Do you enjoy watching us clown and then die?? Here's my brain dump for all of the Easter eggs recently:

Debut TV: New surprise song dress tonight with very debut colors? Tim McGraw (the very first song she ever released) as a surprise song? Pictures from debut era on a slideshow before the show? (That last one I'm not a hundred percent sure about)

Rep TV: THE BODYSUIT!!!! The intro to the Rep segment of the concert was different? The gold velvet outfit with the snake purse recently?

TS 12: Yellow. There's a like of posts with yellow on her Instagram. Yellow does not really represent an album yet. The yellow crewneck in the reel? The sunglasses in the reel aren't a usual shape? The influx of plaid she's been wearing out?

There's some dude (derogatory) on FB who is PISSED people are pricing their farm fresh eggs at $2 and $3 a dozen instead of $4+, saying it's "disrespectful" and "undignified" and "I'm trying to feed my kids" like Sir, you are on a Facebook group page bitching about your neighbors egg prices because your pet chickens aren't earning you a living wage and you think it's your neighbors' fault, you do not have a leg to stand on here wrt dignity.

Also half the answers are like "I give them to friends and family free" or "I donate them to food banks" or "I'm making them affordable to folks who might not otherwise be able to get them now that they're so expensive in the store" and "if you think you're going to turn a profit keeping backyard chickens you have been wildly misled" and so on, and so forth, and I'm so living for it.

and I can tell you right now, he did NOT like my answer of "if you're trying to feed your kids, I hear eggs are edible."

the text at the top of your vision appeared like always, saying the same thing every time.

"Find Lampert!"

the task itself wasn't daunting. quite simple, in fact. you just weren't really in the mood to see him right now.

you took a few steps off the Regretevator into the knockoff Ikea, halfheartedly making an attempt to find the individual in question. it wouldnt be all that hard to NOT find him, in the endless aisles of furniture. a part of you wished that he wouldn't be found. it would save you the trouble of seeing him. unfortunately, one of the other passengers on the elevator found Lampert, and you sighed as the supernatural force teleported you back to the Regretevator.

red ball temple. as everyone rushed out of the elevator, you stayed. not to say you were bad, per se, but you were bad at this obby in particular. you stood awkwardly in the corner, hoping not to be seen or heard by the lamp person. you found your arms wrapping around your body to be most comfortable. you started to daze off, letting yourself get hypnotized by the music of the temple.

"are you all right?"

a quiet voice broke your stupor. Lampert was looking at you.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just tired,"

"..m'kay. you know you can...get off...right?"

you stared at him for a second, trying to find the intent behind his words. they seemed genuine, if not plain blunt.

"i'm aware. But I need to keep going. i dont really know when my floor is gonna show up," you responded.

"huh. what floor are you looking for?" Lampert shifted to face you, arms relaxing on the railing behind him.

"Eh, any floor with Mach. HALL OF, WALL OF, so on. I've been staying with her and Pilby for a bit," you explained, "but i gotta question for you,"

"don't those railings have unholy amounts of germs on them?"

watching him panic was almost like a comedy. he yelped and started wiping his arms down aggressively. you bit back a chuckle. Lampert was quite an interesting fellow. too bad this was the very thing that kept you away from him. you averted your eyes as he continued his futile wipedown. ever since you first saw him, he always sparked your interest. a walking, talking lamp? truly a spectacle! as you got to know him, the more you wanted to know. and somehow you found yourself adoring this wonderful being, wanting to get closer. the only problem being he was deathly terrified of germs. so, you stood, and watched respectfully from a distance.

it was heartbreaking. at least to you.

a few people returned from the temple, with most being flattened by the large Red Ball that guarded it. you chatted away with some of the survivors as the floors changed. the Regretevator dinged, and the doors opened to HALL OF. most of the others in the elevator groaned, but you were relieved. Mach taught you how to do this one easily anyway.

As you stepped out to the fiery walkway, you didn't notice the eyes watching you. you didn't notice the slight frown on his face, didn't see the tickets clamped gently in his fist. and as you dashed to escape the incinerator, you certainly didn't hear the small whisper that he hoped to see you again.

So you ask your professor (the department head) about the white bear experiment and how it relates to the current research article we're discussing, and he goes, " Oh, actually I don't understand the White Bear experiment function, since all current literature disproves it (HUH) and no one uses the self reporting of a bell or clicker anymore (i agree, too freaky). I'm going to email the author of this current article and see if he can connect it to ironic process theory! "

You should’ve known better.

Your voice was barely above a whisper, full of frustration. The argument with Inho had gone on long enough, and you couldn’t take it anymore. You grabbed your bag, throwing everything in as quickly as you could.

"Y/n, please just listen to me," he pleaded, stepping toward you. "I love you. I was wrong to distance myself. Just hear me out. I have my reasons."

You pulled your arm away from him, your anger flaring. "Reasons? Is that what you call them? Excuses?"

You shoved more things into your bag, trying to leave. But Inho wasn’t giving up.

“So that’s it? You’re just gonna run away?” He scoffed, his voice mocking. "You're acting like a child, Y/n. Always running from your problems."

You could feel the tears starting to fall, but you wiped them away quickly. How could he be so cold? So ruthless?

"I'm not running away!" Your voice cracked, breaking under the weight of everything. "I'm just done."

Inho softened his tone, his voice desperate. "Then talk to me, Y/n. Please. I love you so much. Just talk."

You froze, looking at him. His words hit you like a punch, making you second-guess everything. He cheated on you, and yet here he was, begging for you to listen. Maybe he didn’t mean it, maybe it was a mistake…

His hand grabbed yours, pulling you to a stop. You didn't want to move.

Was this manipulation?

He looked deep into your eyes, his gaze full of need. You saw the sincerity, but you also saw the anger behind it. You wanted to pull away, but you couldn’t.

Before you could say anything, he leaned in and kissed you. It was wrong. Everything about it felt wrong. You pushed against his chest, trying to break free, but he held on tighter.

He then pulled, realistically forced, you into a kiss. It felt gross. It didn’t feel genuine at all. For the first time in a while.

"Get off me!" you shouted, panic flooding your voice.

He pulled back, his face twisted in anger. "So that's how it's gonna be, huh?" he sneered. "You think you're so much better than me?"

You stood there, shaking. He didn’t look guilty. He didn’t care. He walked away with that smirk on his face.

This is who he was. A monster.
