The Steve Community - A Guide For Confused Mutuals
(and other people seeing my steveposting who may have no idea what im talking about...)
Intro
Hi! I'm your local artist, jsdimensions, who is currently revisting a childhood fandom!
I've come to the realization that some of my most loyal followers and mutuals may have no clue what I'm talking about, since, sadly, this community isn't very well-known at all. I'm here to provide a definitive explanation for everything I'm going to be posting about pretty soon!
The rest of the post is under the cut.
History
Were you ever a kid on YouTube watching Minecraft videos in the mid to late 2010s? I sure was! Even though I knew they were staged, I still found a ton of entertainment from Minecraft creepypastas and other "scary" Minecraft videos. I used to watch channels like GhepoMC, Sharky, and UnspeakableGaming to get my fix.
Have you ever heard of those [color] Steve creepypastas? These guys down below.
(From left to right: Green Steve, Rainbow Steve, Blue Steve)
These are Steves! Often recolors of the default Steve skin in Minecraft, they started out as "scary entities" you can find in your world. Basic, not that scary creepypastas, and that was about it.
However, one day in 2017, a YouTuber by the name of FavreMySabre made a few videos about these Steves. They were the typical "Steves are SCARY and will CORRUPT YOUR WORLD and MAKE YOUR COMPUTER BLUESCREEN!!1!1!1" kind of videos often seen in that era of Minecraft YouTube, but something ended up happening that would eventually cause the birth of the entire genre.
Rainbow Steve was created when a Blue Steve asked Sabre through signs to fuse him, a Green Steve, and a Red Steve together through a redstone machine. At first, Rainbow Steve was treated about the same as thr others - a mysterious, spooky entity that could speak backwards - but after some experimentation on him, Sabre felt bad and decided to set him free into the world to do his own thing. Rainbow Steve was revealed to be a well-natured, quirky guy who built his own house. The first example of a colored Steve not being framed as a scary entity, but a character of their own. This is one of many reasons why I consider Rainbow Steve to be the father of the entire genre! Steves as characters weren't even considered until he came around. Rainbow Steve also had a particular energy about him that helped form the unique sense of humor often seen in Steve-based series as well.
One thing led to another, Dark Steve and Light Steve were introduced, and this first series was dubbed The Steve Saga.
The Steve Saga was a long-running series that lasted 2 years, until about 2019. New villains like Dark Steve arrived and were defeated, new characters introduced and left, and the series really fleshed out its own identity over time. Looking at it now, I can see that it's definitely flawed, but my pre-teen self LOVED this stuff. I remember being there when the final arc of The Steve Saga was being completed, and thus, the series ended.
In the following year, Sabre worked on Steve Saga Origins, a spin-off series centering around Rainbow Steve. He also tried to revive the series at least twice, but both attempts were never completed.
Towards the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, Sabre made a reboot of The Steve Saga called Rainbow Quest. Fans were absolutely hyped to see this new series! Unfortunately, sometime in the middle of Season 2, the series got too dark and depressing for my already-sad self to endure during quarantine, so my personal timeline ends right there. I've heard that, allegedly, I quit watching soon after the series started actually getting good, which kind of sucks.
During all of this, some people in the community decided to make their own series inspired by The Steve Saga and Rainbow Quest, thus forming the Steve RP scene as it is today now that Sabre isn't making Steve content anynore: made up of fan creations!
Rainbow Quest Ramble
A couple of months back, I tried to watch through Rainbow Quest again. I wanted to get back in touch with the community while rewatching a childhood series.
However, I've heard that the series isn't exactly the best early on, and I can't help but agree that, in some ways, it's a bit hard to watch. After watching early Rainbow Quest, I think I understand pretty well why this fandom is so small, but I also understand why people still love it enough to stick around.
(Disclaimer: In my most recent rewatch of Rainbow Quest, I was only able to make it to Episode 43...out of 288. All of my current knowledge is of those first 43 episodes, so anything after that is what I've heard about the series rather than personal experience.)
Let's go over the good and bad of Rainbow Quest!
Good Stuff
Audio balancing issues are non-existent. This may seem like a given, but many fan-made Steve series have music or in-game sounds that drowns out people's voices. Sabre's stuff never has this problem.
The series LOOKS great, too! There are shaders, a couple of mods for immersion, and the builders Sabre hired for the series clearly know what they're doing. Every environment is beautiful and well-made!
Out of every episode I've watched, there's only 1 filler episode where nothing of much substance happens. There's always something important going on in every episode, even if those things are minor sometimes.
When the series is engaging and fun, it's VERY engaging and fun.
This series has gotten me to laugh multiple times.
Orange Steve is a great character...before episode 30. I'll talk about my opinion on him after that episode.
Every episode feels like it's planned out and that the story is going somewhere.
The series knows how to do action that I'll remember. I'm not going to spoil anything, but trust me when I say that Sabre knows how to do action.
Character writing is pretty solid for the most part. Not perfect, but definitely good enough. Characters stand out from each other, which is really important when multiple characters look extremely similar.
Not-so-good Stuff
It's very clear in certain episodes that Sabre is trying so hard to hit that 10 minute mark on his videos. Lots of padding sometimes, from Sabre talking in circles to things going on a little longer than they should. Pacing is an issue sometimes. At some point, I started watching the videos a 2X speed.
I wouldn't be surprised if some people watched the series and found Sabre to be annoying! He doesn't bother me too much, personally, but there are some moments where I'm thinking, "Just get on with it..." He also doesn't drop the YouTuber act that drops the immersion at the beginning and/or end of episodes until season 2, but at least he does it at all, I guess.
A few minor things kind of come out of nowhere with no explanation, like Sabre's knowledge of making redstone machines for particular purposes, such as trapping Steves. Where did that come from? Who knows? Not me.
If you don't like comedic relief characters whose entire personalities are made for comedic relief, Orange Steve from episode 30 and beyond may be a hard watch. I'll put in my personal complaints here - it felt like, in between episode 29 and 30, Sabre gave Orange Steve a lobotomy. He doesn't even realize something happened to him that EVERY OTHER STEVE can clearly notice, and when episode 30 began, he randomly started going on about eating pufferfish. An episode or two before that, he went on about sticks all of a sudden with no explanation. It was hard for me to watch Orange Steve, a character who sticks around Sabre almost constantly since the first few episodes, devolve into this. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually or it'll improve once I start watching the series again, but this frustrated me so badly I stopped watching.
I'd love to see people outside the community watch Rainbow Quest and form their own opinions, though. These are just my opinions, and I'd say the series is very good for something Sabre uploaded almost daily.
What Is A Steve? (More In-Depth)
This section will go over the most common portrayals of Steves. Some series, like Fragments: Reimagined (PLEASE WATCH FRAGMENTS REINAGINED), imagine Steves slightly differently than the most common interpretation.
Steve series often include:
Main character is either a Steve or a player who came across the Steve world by chance
World inhabited by various different kinds of Steves, most commonly one color of the rainbow, but some are multiple colors or even themed (time, elements, space, etc)
Steves usually have some kind of powers. The more powerful Steves can smite you with lightning, throw fireballs, create blocks or convert blocks into other blocks, cause explosions/fire, create stuff, float/fly, teleport, and more. The weaker/more common the Steve, the less strong their powers are. Steve powers are most often associated with lightning striking, whether it's raining or not. Some series don't give certain Steves any special powers at all.
If they have any, the powers a Steve has usually have some kind of connection to how they look or their name.
Some of the most powerful Steves barely resemble the original Steve skin, and on rare occasions, not at all. This is normal.
Steves are often, if not always portrayed as an all-male species.
There will ALWAYS be a great evil that must be defeated. I've never seen a Steve series without that.
Steves do not know about real-world objects or concepts that don't exist in Minecraft, such as sandwiches or circles.
Having a voice rather than talking in chat means one of two things: either you're the main character, or you're VERY powerful/special in some way.
Very often, there's some kind of powerful item(s) that need to be collected.
Good Steve series are very hard to find. I highly recommend you ask the community for recommendations.
Outro
I hope this guide helps introduce people to this community! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I'll probably know the answer.
The Steve community is very small but very welcoming. If there's anything I don't know, I'm sure another more knowledgeable fan will be eager to help.
I have a feeling I'm going to be doing a lot more steveposting pretty soon, so be prepared for that!!!

RAAAAAAHHHH!! AFTER 9 HOURS OF CARVING ITS DONEEEE!!!

IVE FINISHED THE LINOCUTTTTTT!!!!!! >:3
Close-ups and rambling beneath the cut 🥰
My first attempt I made a mess of the left background 😭

So that side is a mess but ehhh it's Lore now-
Anyway. On each side we have 15 eyes and 9 arms. Arms, top/left to bottom/right: Parasite, Virus, Great Librarian, Fake Blue, Guardian, Antivirus, Blue, Plague, Shadow Sabre.
Eyes, left/top to right/bottom: Gold, Blue-Red (Origin mutated), Faceless, Galaxy, Negative, Ghost, Origin, Diamond, Dark, Time, Demon, Yellow, Shadow, Chaos, Void. Reality is the center eye's left half.
And then the right side, which is cleaner.

Arms, right to left: Hypno, Scientist, Green-Blue (Origin mutated), Lucas, Nightmare, Moon, Red, Green, Sabre. Eyes, right to left: Galaxy Ship, Red-Green (Origin mutated), Overseer, God, Positive, Infinity (my fave eye), Alex, Emerald, Light, Elemental, Rainbow, Purple, Reverse, Ultra, Memory. Illusion is the right half of the center eye.
Anddd then here's a close-up of Saga themselves!

Goddd, I'm surprised I was able to get so many details. I'm tired but excited!! I won't be inking it yet tho haha- I have to get special paper 😔

HEAR ME OUT
So one day Sabre Galaxy and alex are talking, at this time Galaxy and alex are partners when Sabre brings up void and starts talking about him only for alex to realize "wait so we only think he's dead what if he's still in Galaxy" Sabre would dismiss it but alex wouldn't she would start getting worried and ask Sabre to build a machine just to check and get Galaxy to agree wouldn't you know it she would end up correct void was alive but very very hurt and on the verge of dying and as guardian, sabre, and alex stand there looking at a weak nearly dead void Galaxy would push past them and start healing void as void asks "why would you help me I hate you" for Galaxy to respond "because everyone deserves a second chance" alex trusting her partner would let Galaxy heal void though void is still not healed fully so Galaxy decides to keep healing him despite knowing that void will probably betray him and alex trusting her partner would also start to help well after many outbursts from void Galaxy would have had enough it finally thinking he's given void enough chances he would stop helping only for void to realize he needs them both so void realizing this starts trying to come back to and apologize to Galaxy but Galaxy is not letting up until Sabre has a conversation with him like "hey I know you don't like him and I don't either but I think he's actually changed so I know it maybe hard but give him just one more chance" Galaxy agrees but says "okay but if he messes up one more time I'm out of this" void now being told this becomes overly kind and too careful not to mess up acting unlike himself around Galaxy galaxy tells him that he's not being himself and to just cut it out meanwhile void has been gaining a relationship with alex be truly himself around her and even venting to her so this time it's her that gives him mercy telling Galaxy to maybe lossen up on him because he's going to have steps back Galaxy agrees because it's alex and he trusts her judgment so void starts opening up especially when alex is around void would have already fallen in love with alex just due to his closeness to her how kind she is but knowing she's in a loveing relationship he's not gonna cross that bondey but then he hears via lore drop they're poly and all he can think is "Yes I have a chance with the beautiful kind woman" and because he's opening up around the both them especially when alex is there and Galaxy happens to be their he sees how much of a kind and loving partner Galaxy also is and can't help but want to be that for him to realize "well shit I've fallen for them hard" and more then likely confess that he likes them to Sabre while drunk at some party well void has times were he spirals so does Galaxy but they do it in very very different ways void will start planning relentlessly again the best ways to cut contacts so he doesn't have anyone to care for him and would only plan and pray (witchcraft) neglecting all his other needs despite still being quite weak while Galaxy spirals in a different way he's had all his mortal friends ripped away from him by the pasege of time this weighs on him heavy so when he sees Sabre (or others its just mostly sabre) neglecting his own health Galaxy steps and and becomes overly caring to the point he doesn't worry about his health (and while Galaxy alex and void are all immortal they still feel conditions that can be caused by lack of sleep and other things like that) well alex decids to start a bakery to help get Galaxy out of one of these spirals which Sabre doesn't even now happen but Alex and guardian do
Well void sighs up to be employed there and recently void been more accepted in to the overall friend group and voids still quiet and rarely smiles but Galaxy being who he is starts making jokes that void smiles and chuckles at causing Galaxy to fall alex had already fallen from a few of voids rants before so cue mutual pinning in the bakery while Sabre, guardian, and a few Steve's start becoming a gossip group getting on who's gonna confess to who well one night alex comes to Galaxy like
"so you know void right" "yeah?" "Well I know you don't really like him but" "that's not really a problem anymore but go on" "I think I kinda maybe like him" "shit for real me too but also your better at confessing seeing as you kinda just said were going on a date so yeah can you ask"
"Sure" only for alex to ask like "me and Galaxy have been thinking" void thinking he's about to get fired and lose everything "well we've talked about how we would like a poly relationship and both me and Galaxy really like you so would you be are partner" voids mouth would open in shock "what so you guys like me?" Yup alex would respond
But whos gonna write that?

Ya probably won't see this till after the ask a thon, but I had to share this cus I wanna share it. It's funny
Regardless of canon, in a Steve Saga SMP, Memory would be the one people forget is on the server. Not because he uses his powers (they're allowed tho), but because Memory's the quiet one.
He just randomly scares them unintentionally when he speaks in chat or dies to smth (it's like a mix of them having their Steve powers, but also act like a player, so they can still die but they respawn.)
So cus of that, this is how the galaxy fam is on the SMP
Memory: the quiet one who's doing whatever and scares everyone half to death on the server when speaking/dies to smth somehow/goes to someones base (he knows where everyone is even tho nobody told him)
Time: the only serious one, having to deal with Elemental being stupid.
Elemental: "what happens if I use a stack of TNT on Illusions dirt hut?" *Elemental_theelementbender blew up* (The hut isn't even used by Illusion anymore lmao)
Illusion: following Sabre around cus he's the only one willing to help Illusion figure out what to do (somehow everyone else knew what to do as a player-like entity, but not Illusion lmao)
Galaxy: fishing til nightfall and just stays in a hole in the ground
Void: laughing at everyone accidentally dying to something (mostly Galaxy cus he just fishes all the time and gets too into it)
The mix of canon probably and noncanon. *Funny evil laugh*
I 100% agree with Memory being the quiet one that people forget is around.
btw, you have slain me with the mental image of Illusion following Sabre around. That's so precious to me. Illusion gets to learn how to play Minecraft from Sabre.
F in the chat for Elemental dying. Hopefully he gets back to his death location before all the pumpkin pies he had despawn.
Thank you for sharing!

Yall are getting spoilers for my One Disaster After Another Steve Saga AU~
Sooo this is a modern au where the Steves are all humans that are transformed into Steves. And Sabre is a social worker trying to find the root cause of all this, and keep tensions down. All of the transformations are connected to the Macguffin™ and Sabre's backstory, and let's just say most of them would've died if it weren't for that.
((Okay yall this is 2,235 words so FAIR WARNING. This is LONG 💀))
Dark Steve was betrayed by a close friend in a volcano-cavern hike, thrown off a bridge into the flowing lava far below. He came back confused and angry, but was quick to get vengeance. He haunted his former "friend", burning messages into their walls and flesh, covering windows in volcanic ash, and, eventually, consuming them in lava. No one ever found out what happened, just that they were seemingly haunted by a demon.
Nightmare Steve was originally transformed into a Yellow Steve, his friend becoming a Red Steve. He was overcome with bloodlust and desire for power, taking his friend's life and becoming the beast he is now. He is wanted for murder, and was hiding in alleyways at first. Dark found him, and was the one to guide Night towards his villainous legacy. Nightmare eventually gained confidence and became the King you all know.
Light was on a snow trip and was consumed by an avalanche, transforming into something furred, icy, and yet warm. The only reason they found him is because he figured out how to turn his fingers into long icicles, long enough to reach the surface. The rescue dogs couldn't tell the difference between him and the snow, the two were indistinguishable. The local rangers escorted him back home, including on the train.
Rainbow, ironically, is one of the few people I don't have a solid concept for. He was transformed after the first 5 colors, and shares a house with Light.
Red Steve was the first, transformed after his house caught fire. Everyone thought he did it on purpose, and thought he was a demonic entity haunting the town. In reality, he'd scraped together what little he had left, and tried to run away into the forest. But he was caught stealing food, and that's when the police surrounded him. They would've killed him if it weren't for Sabre stepping in (ironic compared to the og series...). Sabre took him to his car and they finally cleared up what happened, and he lives with Sabre now.
Green Steve was the second, and was caught by a grove of trees changed by the Macguffin Magic™. Their vines and branches swallowed him up, transforming him into something wooden and leafy. He was a teenager at the time, and had taken many walks through that forest. His parents called Sabre to help find him. Green met one of the talking trees, who does not take people. The tree explained there was a burst of magic that changed this forest, and some chose to use their power selfishly.
Blue Steve was the third, and, naturally, drowned. His leg was caught in coral and rock, and he wasn't strong enough to pull himself out. The body recovered was slimy and nearly unrecognizable as a person, until he woke up. Sabre once again was on the front lines, and helped Blue recover. Blue is a college student, and let's just say the second Blue Steve has a...sibling that caused a lot of harm. Her sibling caused the second Blue transformation.
Yellow and Purple were both transformed during a Macguffin Magic Storm™. Both are kids. Yellow Steve was riding his bike home from school when he was struck with lightning. He was lucky that the mom in the car next to him called Sabre immediately. He was found glowing and muddy, but his backpack and such were fine somehow. Sabre put his bike in his trunk and tried his best to dry him off, and was driving him home when he got a call for Purple.
Purple Steve is one of the youngest, under 10 years old, and is directly related to the Macguffin™. Something her currently-missing father built was activated by the storm, bringing an enderman from an alternate reality into their home. They weren't scared up until when it attacked them. The remnants of her father appeared to them, defeating the creature, but Purple was forever changed. This is not abnormal to her. Their father has appeared to them before, giving her information on the creatures he has encountered. She has an enderman plush from him, one of the few physical objects he has brought them. Purple was struggling to control their teleportation, as they kept getting frightened by Lucas, who called Sabre. Yellow decided to come with, and was able to calm her down.
Sabre, as a teenager, helped Purple's father build the Macguffin™, and wears a bandanna due to a...scar, of sorts, from the thing malfunctioning. He originally wanted to be a cop as a kid, but discovered all the corruption and politics surrounding that. He figured a social worker is better for everything he really wanted to be and to do. Compared to the og series, it's ironic how good he is at conflict resolution. It doesn't work every time, of course. Eventually, he founds an organization to assist Steves in both law/safety and daily life, and that's where the Rainbow Town comes from. It's not so much a place, as an idea, though it does have a physical space at one point.
Plague Steve had died from disease when he was transformed, and was poked and prodded for months by doctors. Those very "doctors" refused to tell him what he'd died from, or let him leave. He suffered a lot of medical trauma in that time frame. There were holes rotted away in his skin. He had to wear a gas mask when he finally left, as per the contract he was forced to sign. Despite the fact that it was understood that he was not inherently contagious. He despises the alienation the whole thing brought upon him, and just wants to be close to someone for once. He turned against Sabre and Rainbow violently the moment they believed he was dangerous/evil.
Positive Steve and Negative Steve were Yellow/Red twins experimented on by Nightmare, who was trying to replicate his backstory. It didn't work as he'd expected, but brought promising results after they were able to fuse together. They weren't even teens yet when he took them. A mix of Frankenstein-style experimenting and a bit of psychological torture brought them to their hybrid-like appearance. If they didn't distrust everyone who wasn't Night and Dark, they could've found a safe haven in the Rainbow Town.
Hypno Steve was meant to replicate the Infinity experiments, but led Dark to create something else entirely. Hypno is one of the few Steves that utterly despises what he has become, and never truly embraces it. Of course, plenty spend a few months being Angsty about it, but that is a defining part of Hypno. He's not sad - he's angry. If it were up to him, he'd end every Steve, every source of magic, from this world. He'd purge it all. But Rainbow is the one thing holding him back, that reminds him that his existence has a place in this world. Unlike Pos and Neg, he distrusts the place he comes from the most.
The Galaxy Family is one of my favorites. Illusion ran away from home as a child, and lives alone in an abandoned house, stealing from local chain stores. Galaxy and Void are feuding brothers, which begins to hurt everyone around them, including those most important - their sons. Galaxy is at fault for Void and Memory's transformations, and this is the final straw that brings Void to villainy.
Galaxy Steve was walking home with groceries in the rain when he fell into a wormhole. He witnessed the stars, supernovae, and far-away planets, eventually landing in the purple/galaxy dimension completely changed. He's fluffy, with four arms and a sort of alien-wolf look. He gets distracted by all the sights before remembering the groceries and his kids, going back to find all his paper bags soaked and ripped. He carries everything in his arms, and finds his sons changed too.
Time Steve loves clockwork and gears, and was fixing a clock in the basement when he got caught on something and...he blacked out. There was blood. He fused with the clock. No-one is quite sure how or why, but it happened. Elemental found him after his own transformation, and was devastated, thinking his irresponsibility had killed his dear brother. El took his brother up to the living room, finding he was still alive. Time woke up not long after Galaxy got home, and was surprised by what had happened. But he wasn't afraid, for he had his family by his side.
Elemental Steve was enjoying the storm outside when he was struck by lightning, falling into a pond. He woke up underwater, barely having time to adjust before he remembered his brother. He worried he'd burn/soak things with strange liquid-solid hands, but they seemed to work normally. Time snuggled up to his lava-arm after waking up. He can change how solid his arms are, shifting them in size and, eventually, making them float. He grew his vines around his brother to keep Time close after finding him unconscious.
Illusion Steve was transformed after a severe panic attack while he was stealing late at night. He'd lived with panic attacks and anxiety for a long time, but this one was so overwhelming he fell unconscious. His new body did give him a pocket dimension to put goods in, though, so he used that to his advantage. He took some clothes to hide himself, but the whole experience led him to almost getting caught. He revealed himself as a last-ditch effort, discovering his powers. He's even more distrustful of people than everyone else.
Void Steve and Memory Steve were both transformed as a result of Galaxy and co. visiting. Galaxy was trying to explain what had happened to a very tired Void when his powers tweaked out and he summoned a darker version of the wormhole beneath his brother. He jumped in after him, even though Galaxy wasn't sure he'd make it back. He bore witness to Void's transformation, just out of reach as they fell down, down, down, past black holes and asteroids. Until they landed in the Void Dimension, where Void blew up in Galaxy's face about everything. Everything that has hurt him, every stupid decision. By the time they came back, Galaxy could barely stammer out an apology.
Memory Steve witnessed the wormhole, and ran, but Galaxy asked Time and Elemental to make sure he's safe. He'd run to the basement, and in the dark fell into his own dimension. The two went after him, bearing witness to his transformation, too. In the lava-swamp of the dimension, Memory couldn't speak, running nowhere. He was naturally selectively mute, but here, his thoughts were written on signs trailing behind him. His human face became something of a distant memory by the time he stopped. His nephews comfort him and take him back home. Void discovers what happened and is even more furious with his brother, banning them all from stepping anywhere near him and his son. Void's protectiveness of his son takes him down a dark path that hurts the very one he loves the most. Memory kept in contact with them in secret, until he just...didn't. Void started getting in his head.
So..who did I skip...Shadow, Reverse...oooohh!! Ghost and Faceless, yesss!!!
Ghost Steve was the first prey of the Catacombs, getting lost and, eventually, losing himself. The catacombs are alive, and hungry for an identity. Ghost was a young adult, tired of the life he was living. He decided to leave the touring group, wandering the musty halls alone. But soon he found himself in a shifting maze of bleak, mossy brick, where only his own voice echoed. The longer he stayed, the more it hurt, until it didn't. Ghost doesn't know if he truly died down there, or if he simply changed. But by the time he'd found the touring area again, he wasn't human. He was see-through, a ghost of what he once was. And, slowly, that's all he ever was. There was nothing before this. He was just...Ghost.
Faceless was once a failed businessman, frustrated with his life, and went into the catacombs to get away from it all. But it wasn't long before the dust of the dead called to him, too. He slipped between the cracks, finding an old mask with not a single facial feature, just gray... He put it on, and was choked by the smell of death. But it wouldn't come off. He could feel his face practically melting away. It wasn't long before the color faded from his skin, and the only facial feature left...was a single, sideways eye in the center of his face. It wasn't long before Ghost found him, and asked who he was. ...Everything that provided identity for Faceless was fading, too. His license was unreadable, and anything else with his name was falling apart. Ghost etched what little he could figure out on the stone bricks around them. And that is all that remains.
