Something within them,something small and broken,hisses that she’s lying to them,that she’s just saying that because she’s soft,that they need to carve themself with grit and suffering to be worth something.

She silences it by threading her fingers through their wicks.

They swallow,whimpering in the most humiliating way possible.

Something within them snarls a filthy word beginning with r.It pulls them under,and they start to drown until-

Let me clarify this confusion for a bit

As you know, my TTS oc appears differently in "Thorns of a Rose" which is a pre-series in itself, but it's a CONTRAST towards the pre-series of Marcellus. Cuz Marcellus throughout the pre-series (which is Thorns of a Rose) appears or if not depicted him in a different outfit and hairstyle than the pre-series that has him appear with the beiges and revealing (Or rather exposing/showing) his facial scar, like comparing these two sides by side:

It's night and day, Marcellus in "Thorns of a Rose" HID his facial scar always with the length of hair he had at the time as well as dark circles under his eyes and a bruise from someone. The teenager is more vulnerable, emotionally unstable or even shows a tendency towards combativeness, and Marcellus appears less assertive.

Marcellus in "Thorns of a Rose" is timid, quiet and obedient and always has been even in S1, S2 and S3 even post-series. While he warms up to Varian (Yes, Varian. Not Rapunzel since Varian is the closest he sees to someone who views him like a person) and he kinda has positive traits like creativity, optimism, empathy, discipline, lightheaded and humility but also negative ones like awkward, clumsy, morally grey, short-tempered, trust issues, anxious, impatient and sensitive. While Quirin, the leader of Old Corona was the first he opened up to. Varian was the second, and first time he opened up to someone who was 3 years younger than him.

Quirin does carry Marcellus, like Varian. He either carried him when he fainted or slept on the floor, unlike Varian. He picks him up if he is too afraid to walk a.k.a petrified, anxious, crying but can't get up and struggling or having a flashback to an event either from the orphanage or his parents and brother. Well, he asks for Marcellus's permission so it also counts as Quirin getting worried 101.

Marcellus gets attached to Varian a tad bit too much, I mean. You could tell how much he hates seeing Varian get hurt, in trouble, yelled at verbally and bullied emotionally or physically. Yet, if he tries to defend Varian. It's like defending himself all over again by having people say "he talks back" as if his defending himself or others is a "jerk move". But he does hate it when Varian is hurt, and often cries when Varian gets severely hurt. No, that's not an obsession. He legit grew a bond, or attachment to Varian since he is the closest thing to him being able to show his emotions or rather express it through conversation, that's the key to Marcellus's potential. Varian, yeah. I get Varian ain't Rapunzel, but c'mon. I like the idea of an OC warming up to Varian, a outcast like them but for a different reason.

i do wonder sometimes if entrapta was really written to be an adult. because by the looks of it, it seems to me that nate just said that entrapta was around 30 when he realized that her relationship with hordak could be viewed as problematic if she was younger.

it's not just the way she's characterized as acting younger than she actually is, which isn't uncommon in the autistic spectrum so i'll give that the benefit of the doubt. but just the way that the princesses treat her like a child, not even as one of their peers, and the way they boss her around seems to me like typical highschool bullying.

crew-ra could have at least made entrapta look a bit older than the other princesses but no, she actually looks younger than most of them. and no, it's not the same as having a youthful face, entrapta literally looks like she's 14 or 15.

idk, while i do like entrapdak, it seems to me that entrapta was originally written as a teenager and hurriedly turned into an adult so that she could date hordak. there's nothing in canon that confirms that this character is an adult woman.
