I was thinking about my study methods lately and decided I need to study my vicab in context more, and I thought reading webcomics, as you suggested, would be a good idea. But I am so lost! I dont quite know which webcomic is good for my current level - or good at all, since I dont want to be reading something boring. Can you recommend me something?

Hey there! Well, I’m not exactly confident of where your level is or what your taste in comics is. But I can recommend a few. 

I always recommend 유미의 세포들. It’s such a cute and well developed idea, plus they’re short chapters that are focused on daily life and emotions. So, if you didn’t want to look up vocabulary, there will be a lot  of useful stuff. 

There is also a cute webtoon called 걸어서 30분. It’s like a sweet story of a crush and friendships. It will also be a bit easier than other webtoons comparatively to start. 

Honestly, all webtoons are going to be too hard a first. When I started reading them, I could only understand like 30 percent! So, don’t worry about what you don’t understand. Focus on what you do understand and just read and read and read is my best advice. I would get overwhelmed trying to studying all of a webtoon. It’s more fun to just read it again months later to see your improvement haha. 

The real tough stuff would be fantasy or historical stuff. That is much more difficult because of rarely used vocabulary and out of date speaking styles. But, I recommend just going to naver or daum and looking through the webtoons. Open the ones where the title or art attract you. You’ll be more into reading it even if you don’t understand it all. (^-^)

July 11, 2017 Travel Log 17 Today was a rough day. My aet teacher had NOTHING nice to say about my artwork. Nothing! It made me really sad. So I took a nap. I had a nice dream and while I regret taking the class, I know things will be okay. I'm really good at Korean though! Today I learned 12 new verbs and can actually do exercises to start remembering vocabulary. I'm super excited to actually study my vicab for once. Lastly, me and my friends went out to eat. We had 2 types of pasta and 2 pizzas. There was so much food @.@
