FINALS - Simblr's Saddest, Wettest Meow Meow - Losers Bracket
Saxen (@herecirmsims) VS. Nancy Landgraab (@fallstaticexit)
(polls are presented left -> right unless stated otherwise)
The penultimate matchup of the entire tournament! The winner will break through the ceiling and re-emerge in the mainline finals! Who will go head to head against Geoffrey Landgraab for the title of Simblr's Saddest, Wettest Meow Meow?
What is a ‘Meow Meow’?
(taken from tumblr user @/torturelabyrinth) “The thing about a true poor little meow meow is they have to be 1) downtrodden 2) morally questionable at best 3) deeply and pathetically miserable”
Saxen
Things Sax does extremely well: fainting and bleeding (separately), fainting and bleeding (combination), rotting in bed, crying or being completely stoic (no in between), causing more problems while trying to fix his previous problems, omitting certain truths (aka lying).
Now, I don't know if he really counts as an SWMM because he's not a classic villain... but in his pursuit of Doing The Right Thing he has made some awful choices. Good intentions, poor outcomes.
I present the evidence beneath the cut:
Some of his crimes:
In an attempt to save his sister, he left his post and facilitated the escape of a world-devouring entity which he was supposed to help contain.
After his sister died he made another attempt to save her, via necromancy, and instead doomed her to an endless cycle of death and rebirth. Until recently, none of her reincarnations were healthy enough to survive infancy.
He befriended the parents of this latest incarnation without filling them in on the backstory, or his motives. After they were killed by his enemy, he took the baby and kept her hidden for 11 years (did she have grandparents, uncles, aunts? Yes, probably. He claims they couldn't have cared for her like he did and technicallyyyy he's right, since her survival required magic, but...)
He broke the arm of one of his 'adopted' adult kids (he has an enchanted cottage which has been a refuge for a lot of people) when said adult tried to prevent him from killing someone else. Yes, technically he did only push Thom and didn't intend for Thom to hit the wall so hard, but...
Long story short but his home world didn't end, it was just knocked out of its timeline for a while. Unfortunately, due to his actions on the day the Grim escaped (attacking portal guards and forcing his way through the rift, just as an unrelated-to-him group stormed the castle), he was a) assumed dead and b) immediately arrested on his return for treason and attempted regicide.
He's a constant menace and cause of stress to his man, the kindest and sweetest soul to ever live. He doesn't mean to be, it's just that his attempts to keep Fen safe often seem to involve risking himself in increasingly creative and fatal ways.
Why should you vote for Sax? Well, I think his endless complex trauma and the fact that almost all his misfortunes happened because he was trying to fix things/help people makes him pretty damn tragic and definitely very damp. He could do with a win. Plus... look at him. 🥲

Nancy Landgraab
What makes Nancy a Sad, Wet Meow Meow? Our famously known townie turned OC is the Queen of Melancholy. She's closeted, she's religiously repressed, she's h*rny, she's rich, she carries the burden of her deceased elder brother, she's the bane of her mother's existence. When she's not internalizing her self loathing, she's gazing longingly into the distance thinking about a life free of her mother's judgement and status that she never wanted in favor of running free through a sunflower field kissing beautiful women. And when she manages to actually show up for her two sons, she's still so emotionally detached that this will very much come up in a therapy session later. Her husband is almost on his knees begging for her to smile but she's still pining after her first love while being married to said husband (who's a second runner up for SWMM tbh).
She's a cheater, she's a liar, she's about to get into some risky, sketchy business, she disappoints her children, she's morally grey, she's a top, she's catholic, she's a cougar, she likes to splurge on dr*gs and strippers, the list goes on. ahhh.

For the ask game: 5, 12, 16! ♡
thank you for the asks mars <333
5. did you consult wand lore when choosing their wand? if so, why did you pick what you did? if not, would you ever change wand details to match your mc?
I did consult wand lore before choosing Matty's wand. Her wand is made out of alder wood. Which not only does it have mythological roots in Irish mythology (or Celtic mythology in general), which Matty is very well familiar with but it also suits her needs very well.
It's very loyal and it is also one of the better suited wands for non-verbal casting. And well, since Matty becomes an Auror later on in life, that fact certainly helps. :)
12. did your mc open the repository? why or why not?
Well-- yes and no? It technically wasn't her, even though she ended up with the magic from it. During her 5th year, she ultimately chose to keep the repository as it was. Unfortunately, the following year, fellow classmate and former friend turned enemy Apollo Morganach (that's a whole different part of the lore I'd have to take a hot minute to explain LOL) re-opened it to take its magic.
After his defeat, Matty was then in possession of it. But if she had it her way, she would've kept the thing sealed and hidden forever.
16. how does your mc’s story continue after 5th year? how do they cope with everything that happened with ranrok, sebastian, etc?
Matty takes some time to grieve and it definitely affects her greatly and unfortunately she doesn't really get a big break till after she graduates from school. But in a short summary:
She copes over the summertime, visits family and starts to feel better. Helps Sebastian (and her other friends) during 6th year cope with everything that happened to them in 5th year-- later that same year she starts her relationship with him and that was probably the happiest thing that happened to her in a hot minute lol.
7th year is a whole mess but eventually, after she graduates, she moves to Feldcroft to live with Sebastian and thankfully, for the next handful of years she's living the life she dreamed of and is doing very well with a good career and good husband and family <33
If you would like to know more about Matty and into the details, you can check out my ao3 and wattpad for the three books about her life from fifth year up to seventh year! everything is under the user "sallowspoet" <33

Trying (and failing) to brainstorm this samurai RPG campaign and I distracted myself reminiscing over this old ass campaign I ran in college in what was supposed to be my original fantasy western dust bowl setting that I never really got to build out nearly as much as I had wanted. The party consisted of
a young "samurai" fleeing a civilwar in his homeland, having lost his lands and title without ever properly come of age, he'd never seen war and was helpless to defend his lands from the peasant revolts that uprooted his family and their retainers and scattered them to the wind. He was technically also sort of a confederate soldier analog, to play into the wild west theme. He was very Katsushiro (Seven Samurai). A high pretense of valour and propriety with very little practical experience to back it up.
A potbellied cardshark, multiclassed artificer/rogue. Very much a Charlie Daniels Midnight Train grifter crossed with countless other wild west goons, with a little bit of Han Solo for good measure. He was constantly at odds with the not-samurai over ethical matters.
A menopausal emptynester tabaxi ranger Having lost her husband and seen all her children to adulthood, she was embracing a kind of second wind at having nothing left to hold her down to see the world. One part awkward tourist wine aunt, and one part rustic skilled hunter/tracker turned bounty hunter. She was also a little flirty and a tease, especially with younger men, so a bit of a cougar.(pun fully intended)
A mysterious dysphoric and amnesiac princess who insisted she was trapped in an unfamiliar warforged body. She was frequently embarrassed by her appearance and lack of coordination. She was a weird sort of bootstrapped mix of the NPC pseudo-class of Noble and Monk/Fighter that the player and I whipped together to account for her mental/social skills being different from her physical skills and capabilities. She and the not-samurai took to ballroom dancing together in their spare time, as it reminded them both of their last lives, and helped the princess hone some of her coordination in her robot body.
Oh and an insane gnomish prospector warlock guided by the literal spirit of gold itself to wander into the wilds of this lawless dust bowl to find treasure. I honestly sort of forgot about him...
There was also my DMPC lizardman paladin who'd been imprisoned by the magic school that had monopolized magic in the region and also was basically just a pyramid scheme. Theyd promise to teach people magic if they could pay their dues and enforce the school's monopoly on magic by apprehending/disposing of/recruiting unaffiliated magic users. He used his own broken slave chains as versatile flails/gauntlets.
And along with a small crew of largely nondescript NPCs that I never got to flesh out, they lived on a steamboat chugging along the lone river cutting thru the region. Due to the presence of a giant magical sandstorm all semblance of law and order had been lost in the region and so the party had been deputized by an eccentric philanthropist trying to remap and govern the territories lost to the storm.
Due to the magnetic particles of the storm as well as it's latent magical properties and just the sheer magnitude of the storm as a sand storm, compasses no longer worked, magic of all forms had become wild, the steampunk machinery with it's primitive and exposed mechanisms were prone to jamming, and the landscape itself was prone to change as landmarks and whole manmade settlements were buried overnight by the storm.
Oh and roving gangs of vampires began "riding" the storm, hiding themselves in the shadow of the storm where the sun couldn't penetrate to roll from settlement to settlement.
I miss that party

here is the link to the original post and I've went ahead and copied the body text to put it under a read more jic it gets removed (though I'm sure wayback is gonna get this one) including her update
"champion flight" is a user who is constantly commenting on relationship_advice posts but basically what he said was that the husband was trying to use magical thinking and technicalities to cheat on op and explore his sexuality without admitting to the reality of it
at one point op does call it "sissy stuff" but generally doesn't seem entirely homophobic (she kept calm during the discussions, she said if he were gay or bi that's fine, they'd just need to figure out what that meant for the marriage and she didn't want to be cheated on regardless of the other person's gender) the husband is not in the right here at all lol
My (42F) husband (42M) has informed me he intends to go on a "gaycation" with his BIL (35M) in Ibiza. How do I handle this?
Hi there, I really wish I didn't have to make this post but...here goes. So me and my husband have been happily married for about 16 years give or take. We both have stable careers, good family life and are fairly fortunate despite the cost of living racking the UK right now. We have two boys (15 and 10) and up until this Sunday, thought we had it pretty good. We argue sometimes of course but never gotten too bad and we have a pretty decent sex life with some exploration but I won't get into that. Long and short is, on Sunday, just after I dropped our boys off at their friends, my husband asked me if we had the house alone and more importantly, do I have a minute. I said yes and he sat me down then got out this printed poster for some sort of orgy and started explaining to me the concept of a 'gaycation'. How it's where straight men go to somewhere with "sun, sand and booze" and "become gay" for the duration of the trip but that's fine because it doesn't actually count, because "what happens on the gaycation, stays on the gaycation". I was just completely silent and mortified, even moreso when he said he was looking into booking a trip to Ibiza next year with his BIL (his sister's husband) to experience it for himself. When he finally let me speak I just said, I need him to be clear with me, is he gay? Because if yes, that's "okay" but we need to figure out what happens going forward. I didn't let myself get angry or upset, I was just...stunned. He swore up and down how he's not gay and he's 100% attracted to women and of course still loves me and our boys. So I said well do you think you're bi maybe and he got very defensive, saying how I need to drop the accusations and that this is the beauty of the gaycation, it allows straight men to "experience" gayness without actually being gay and how it's like going to an aquarium??? And again he was adamant he doesn't find men's bodies or genitalia exciting at all, but he needs to experience this apparently. I said well I'm really not comfortable because even if he was bi, this would be explicitly cheating on me and he got angry and reiterated he's not, because "that's the beauty of the gaycation" etc. I just had enough and left the room.
I ignored him for the rest of the day but we spoke at tea where I again asked him, why does he want to do this so bad if he's not gay? He said how he's interested in how gay men's live differ to straight men's and that unfortunately, once the gaycation begins, it's simply impossible for a man to resist and he must "surrender himself mind, body and soul" to the gaycation or "be destroyed". I really cant't put into words how surreal it was, because he was speaking so matter of factly and he again insists this is a thing that straight men do all the time and how he's actually "doing it a bit late". I just said to him if he has any love for me then he can't go ahead with this and if he does, the marriage will be dead. We didn't speak anymore after that. Since then he's mentioned no more of it but somehow, and this is what scares me a lot too, that decision genuinely seems to be tearing him up??? He didn't go into work on Monday (and only went in half a day yesterday) because he told them he just felt too ill and he just looks distraught every time I see him. I really don't think he's wholly gay though I can absolutely believe he's bi but I'd rather we talked about that in a healthy way rather than this incredibly weird denialism around going on a sex holiday to Ibiza.
Has anyone known straight guys to do this and come back and just go back to being straight. Like surely that can't be a thing that happens. I'm so out of my depth here and I just don't know how to even initiate the conversation. For the record I also haven't mentioned it to his sister yet, I don't know how I'd even break it to her. Thanks for any help, I just don't even want to think so being able to get this out there has helped even just a little bit.
Edit: Wow this blew up! This has been incredibly sobering and I think I've now confirmed what I already knew to be the case. The marriage is dead, one way or another. In a way I was in denial myself about that. I have contacted my SIL and she initially screamed at me, calling me a liar and even insinuated I was trying to steal her husband. She rang me back shortly after, apologised and admitted she was in deep, deep shock. I have asked my parents to look after the boys and we're going to meet tomorrow to discuss this deeper. I have also texted my husband and told him he will need to make alternative accommodation arrangements but he will not be sleeping here tonight and a bag will be waiting for him. Not sure if the mods want to lock the post or not but I think I've got my answers. Thank you for all the kind words, especially Champion Flight who really gave me the good dose of reality I needed.
P.S. I see a lot of people asking about the aquarium and at risk of doxxing myself - there is a pretty famous aquarium in the UK called "The Deep". At the very end you walk through a tunnel that goes underneath the main fish tank so it's quite 'immersive' I suppose. My husband explained the aquarium thing in that it's a bit like that. You go there and you "observe" the fishes, you even get a bit up close but you never actually enter the water (get emotionally invested) or "become a fish "(gay) so it doesn't really count. It was a very bizarre analogy and I pointed out it still makes no sense and he just got more in a huff and how I just "don't get it". And frankly I still don't

Oh come on lady, you can't deny a man his gaycation

Look, y’all, I just had a dream where Trump decided that elemental bending was illegal and benders needed to be eradicated, so he sent troops after this big old fancy building where a bunch of us were for a convention. Somehow we found out that they were intending to burn the building down and had to start a MASSIVE evacuation order of everyone in, bender and nonbender, adults and children and animals. Aang was considered illegal—being the Avatar was a major crime.
So we’re running around trying to get everyone out before the building gets attacked. I’m looking for friends and kids and helping them. Dante Basco is there but he’s Zuko; he’s also a little freaked out that he’s a firebender. There’s one kid, a little blond boy, who seems to be buying into the anti-bender maga bs. I’m like “kid, you are LITERALLY a bender. This applies to you, too.” Kid doesn’t believe me and just watches the chaos with big eyes. I work on getting other kids out. At the same time, I’m orchestrating a massive bender effort to protect the people outside from any of the fallout from the building being destroyed.
At one point, I see one of my church buddies. He’s blind, and usually his wife is there to help him, but she’s nowhere to be seen, so I rush over to him and grab his hand o get him out of the building. “Where’s your wife?!” I demand.
“I don’t know. She said she’d be right back!”
“Well, maybe she’s already outside. Let’s get you outside and I’ll keep an eye out for her.”
I get him safe and don’t see his wife. The building seems to be finally empty. I assume his wife is somewhere in the crowd and start explaining to the benders what we need to do.
“Firebenders, you’re the first line. When they set that building on fire, the flames and heat are gonna come right towards us. You need to direct the fire UP and AWAY. It’ll be hot, but diverting flames is our priority. Waterbender, you’re behind the firebenders. You need to make a wall of water to absorb some of the heat. It’ll turn to steam almost instantly cause it’ll be so hot, but that’s okay. And Aang, that means you need to use your airbending to push that steam and hot air AWAY from the parking lot where we all are. Got it?”
Everyone nods and gets ready. My church friend is still missing his wife. Someone tells me that she was last seen in the basement of the building that is now on fire.
I run into the building, using magic and water ending as best as I can to get through the flames. I find cages in the basement with rats in them—Trump has magic users on his side and they were turning people into rats to better control/burn them. I unlock the cage that my friend’s wife is in and grab her. There’s no other animals down there that I can see, so we run.
We make it to the parking lot looking no worse for the ware. The building is smoking, but everyone seems to be alive and okay. The kid is still watching the fires in admiration. He’s buying into the maga bs and I can’t convince him otherwise. We gotta figure out what to do with him when we find a new place to hide because he’s guaranteed to rat us out. But we can’t leave him either because he’s just a kid. My friend’s wife slips out of my hands and starts to dart away. I’m so frustrated I raise a finger at her and undo the spell, turning her back into a human. She looks around and finds her husband. At least they’re safe for now.
Then I start searching for other magic users. The only witch I can find is Eglantine Price (from the movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks). We band together, and I’m so upset I start yelling and crying. She nods at me, also frustrated by events, and looks out at everyone who is still alive. “It’s a step in the right direction,” she tells me, and starts singing the song “A Step in the Right Direction” (also from the movie, but technically a deleted song). Soon, more and more voices join in, and it’s weird because we’re all tired and just survived a near-death experience and we know it’ll happen again and again, but for right now, we survived, and it’s a step in the right direction after all.
Yeah, I’d say current events have been on my mind lately.
#the life of me#i have weird dreams#I know where the rat thing came from#that’s 100% from the episode of Buffy I watched last week#not sure where the bending stuff came from#but it also feels exactly like what would happen#being the avatar—a literal force for good—was fucking ILLEGAL#BENDING was illegal#even though you can’t control if you’re a bender or not#it was such a weird metaphor but it all fit together#anywho#I’m gonna drink my coffee and try not to think too deeply on it

15 Question Tag Game | OC Edition
Cheers for tagging me @queer-cosette - I don't have many OC's tbh (Shea is the only one I can think of that's named, and he's a Sidhe so some of these qestions wouldn't apply), so you'll have to do with one from my oft-mentioned but never shared NaNoWriMo from last year.
Said OC is named Simon Trevethick, a "Weaver" who has had a rather unfortunate past (which both is and isn't his fault - at the same time, for the same reason) and he is the deuteragonist of the story and the mentor of the protagonist.
Rules: answer the questions below as yourself and/or your OC. (I'd also add that you make your own post).
Are they named after anyone? Not really. The surname is mutated a bit from someone I knew at school, but is otherwise just plucked from the ether.
When was the last time they cried? That depends on whether you're asking him or not. According to him, it would be the day that he and his husband separated, about seven years prior to the start of the story; in actuality, it was much more recent, only a couple of days before he's introduced.
Do they have kids? Simon and his partner had adopted two kids, a girl and a boy named Olivia and Jack. It's a fairly major plot point as to why he no longer has them, and should I ever be able to pluck up enough courage to edit it and post it I don't want to spoil it by explaining why now; suffice to say I fridged them as part of a time paradox.
Do they use sarcasm? Sparingly, but he's rather biting with it when he does use it. He's a rather depressed man, for reasons, and tends to shun most social interactions anyway.
What’s the first thing they notice about people It's really how curious people are. In his line of work, you wouldn't even get to meet him unless you had the setting's gift, and he's a researcher of sorts into it. He likes to see if people take notice about the weirdness around them, and what exactly they focus on.
What’s their eye colour? Very dark brown. Simon's eyes are rather thin and hooded as well, so the pupil and iris take up a lot of the space that you can see, and makes the eyes look almost black.
Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings. The poor boy suffers enough with his day job and a rather sad past to want to watch horror.
Any special talents? Simon is a Weaver, which is essentially a magic user in modern times - technically he's manipulating the fundamentals of reality, but we'll go with magic. He's also a nifty sword fighter (again, "job" related).
Where were they born? Like me, he was born in Portsmouth and so has a special connection to the place. He's a bit older than I am though, having been born in 1976.
What are their hobbies? Simon lives an almost monastic life (by choice), and doesn't really do anything outside of his day job to be honest. The only hobby he really has other than that is rock shaping, but that's mainly to keep him in practice for his research. He does do recreational maths, but even he knows that's rather geeky and keeps that to himself.
Do they have any pets? He and his husband had a dog (a Springer Spaniel named Irene) when they were married, but Simon made sure his partner took it when they separated; unfortunately Irene had passed away before the story started.
What sports do they play/have they played? Simon used to play Rugby at school, and also fenced/sword-fought with his co-workers regularly until he retreated into his work.
How tall are they? 5'7" - He's a short king
Favourite subject in school? Maths. He's always liked now neat and predictable maths is, and the man finds solace in numbers where he can't in people as an adult.
Dream job? He has his dream job now, being a Weaver, but if he wasn't one he'd most likely want to be some kind of accountant or computer programmer.
Tagging @imstressedx, @areseebee, @derrygirlstrash @notactuallyerinquinnfromderry and anyone else who would like to talk about their OC

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
synopsis - The Addams family go looking for a tree.
I would like to thank @sincerely-bats to let me use his si Oliver for this fic and for all the wonderful chats that help inspire this.
Snow crunched sharply under black shoes and boots as the Addams family wandered through their local forest. The moon illuminates their steps as the rich smell of pine surrounds them. A chill hung in the air like a hangman’s rope, rattling their bones and sending a fine layer of frost to set over their skin. Oliver shivered, shedding that thin layer off himself like a snake.
“It's too bad Fester couldn’t be here” Oliver said conversationally, breaking the silence over his peaceful family. A Jason mask sat on top of his head, shielding his scalp from the falling snow. The long-ish black hair which grew out to salted caramel locks swayed with the magic users every step. The musical voice of his mother answered him back,
“It can’t be helped Mon Petit Merle, he’s spending the holidays in Arkham” ah that bad idea, as Oliver was to learn by his father’s lightning comment of, “Tish that’s french!”
He ignored his parents as the sound of kissing and loose clothing grew louder. Instead he turned his head to his sister Merope, watching as she skipped and jumped childishly over wooden lodges and stick-out roots, oblivious to anything or anyone else. Her red swing coat swished with her as she twirled in the moonlight, arms arched upwards in some strange dance to music that only she could hear as her long hair fanned out as the breeze blew past them.
He pulled away from the sight and huddled his thin frame deeper into the dark grey hoodie to get away from the blistering cold. Well, technically it was his husband's but that was neither here nor there. A hint of Dick’s cologne still clung to the fabric, making Oliver miss him more terribly. Due to his husband’s ‘nightly activities’ he couldn’t be here with him. With little else to do on a Saturday night, that left him with this.
“How come Grandmama isn’t here too?” Oliver questioned, as to take his mind off its current wanderings. A head of him he could see their younger siblings as they walked. The two appeared to be arguing again. Though what about he couldn’t be sure but if the heavy and spikey morning star had anything to say about it - Oliver would say that Wednesday was winning.
“Her and Aunt Ophelia always go to the Dreaming to see Grandpapa, they like to travel there - give them some girl time” Merope said as she twirled on a particularly thick tree root. With some added flare she pulled out a photo from thin air and passed it over to him. In the picture was his Grandmother and a dishwater blonde woman he had learned to be his Aunt Ophelia, were sitting on flying broomsticks next to tall, icy stalactites that looked like they could break from the ceiling with even the slightest vibration.
A loud squeal alerted his attention onto his youngest sibling. In the baby carrier on his back hung his brother Pubert as the babe squealed louder than a pig at slaughter. The cold had no effect on him as his toddler brother continued his happy gurgling.
So focused on his youngest brother was that the eldest Addam's son barley notice his family stopped. Oliver cranes his neck upwards. The tree they stopped by was massive, giant even. Easily 12ft tall if not more and thick too. Lurch could arm his arms around it and his hands still wouldn't touch.
And dead, long dead. Whatever leaves it once had had now become brittle shells of themselves. When Morticia had come too close to the tree, its leaves had cut her check to the bone. The flesh healed itself within a couple of minutes but it was still impressive. All the noise had drowned out at that moment. It was so quiet, not even chirping robins could be heard.
“Children, ready for the climb” Gomez called cherrily, knocking Oliver out of his daze.
Wait, climb?
He looked up in time to see his siblings as they started to climb;
Pugsley bumbled his way up, missing some branches and falling from others till he settled a particularly sturdy one. Wednesday slivered up the tree, ever the apex predator with dark dead eyes. Merope fell somewhere in-between, though Oliver did notice that she avoided looking down
“Oliver my boy!” Oliver turned, this time towards his parents.
His father, in his pint striped suit and thick fur coat, offered him an axe as his mother happily signed. Its handle was made of a dark polished wood and an equally lustrous blade which was decorated with nordic designs of snakes and dead men.
“Oldest boy cuts the Christmas tree down while the rest of the children sit in it”
With a grin Oliver gingerly took it from his father’s grip. For a moment he held the axe in his hands and watched the moon glitter off its pale blade. He could feel its power flow onto his skin and into his veins. It felt nice, wicked, like a warm duvet being thrown over him in the dead of night. It felt natural for the axe to be in his hands, like a missing piece of his arm was returned to him.
With a grin that could rival the Jokers, Oliver pulled down the Jason mask onto his face and swung the axe, embedded it into the tree. Above him he could hear the happy cheering of his brother and sisters. Behind him Oliver could feel his mothers proud gaze upon him as his father too cheered him on and on his back, he could feel the comforting weight of his youngest brother as Pubert giggled at himself, clumsily clapping along to the beat of the axe.
As the ring of his phone spilled into the air a loud crack rang out throughout the forest as the wood gave way and the tree finally and slowly fell to meet the ground below.
He answered the call. The air filled with laughter as he heard his boyfriend voice in his ear. From his position on the ground Oliver could see siblings;
Mischievous Merope with her hands thrown high into the air and dark hair also bleeding into the night sky, laughing loudly in joyous revelry. Sweet Pugsley as he clung onto the branch he was sitting on, though the stripes of his top did make it harder for Oliver to see him. Sadistic Wednesday, as silent as the grave with her grin just as wide as Olivers and eyes alight with the same glee as the rest of their siblings.
He laughed along with them. Ah it truly was the most wonderful time of the year.

Once In A Millennia...P1.
Summary: A thousand years ago you were married to the Sukuna, a mortal man with the power of a god. Bound to him, his "death" leads you to wander the world alone, against all odds. However...his spirit remains and was resurrected by an unknown boy...
Word Count: 1k-ish.
Warnings: Gn!reader, mentions of a past life & family arranging a marriage.
The days had begun to blur into one incoherent mess.
That wasn't too out of the ordinary. You couldn't be expected to remember every moment of every day, not when you had several lifetime's floating around between your synapses. The mundane and monotonous would naturally be forgotten to make room for the impactful and important memories. The one's you hold onto like your life depends on it and maybe in some way it did, life was mysterious in its ways.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that you had seen everything. Every advancement in every field from science to medicine, going from horse-drawn-buggies to vehicles and letters to text messages. Safe to say that nothing was a surprise anymore. What was life's great surprise now? In a thousand years you had seen and experienced everything, from the divine to the depraved.
Life had begun easy. Being only the child of simple country folk who took pride in their work, worshipping the gods in their own special way, you were given more freedom than most in your childhood. Father and Mother had let you wander the secret places of the village until the sun set and dinner was ready, fed and ready for bed you'd lay down on the comfortable cot they had purchased with the earnings from that season's harvest to let you dream the night away. Until he came, that fateful day where your parents made the decision to sacrifice you to the warlord baring down on their home and land. The ultimatum that sealed your fate was simple: you or them and being the pragmatic people they were chose themselves to save.
Now hundreds of years later you weren't sure you should curse or bless them for their decision because that choice set you on the path to where you are now, browsing the morning market like the days of old with the luxuries of the modern age.
That's when you were made aware of it. The creeping cold of being watched, of being found. The inescapable reality of a person exhaling their hot breath against the back of your neck at an angle your neck simply could not turn towards. The feel of a large palm bearing its weight against the curve of your spine with the addition of three more to various hand-holds across the expanse of your body.
"Have you been well, my sweet spouse? The years haven't been kind to you, have they?"
The deep chuckle of a man thoroughly sadistic in the uncaring manner of which they dispatch those he deems maggots, a man changed, a curse upon the world.
Your husband: Sukuna Ryōmen.
"Don't tell me you've forgotten. Wouldn't it be a pity if you've forgotten your husband?"
And when you understandably twist your head around to venture a guess why he of all beings was behind you at a random stall? There was no one. Not the copious amounts of people shopping for their meal ingredients, not even the shopkeepers or the one that was impatiently waiting for you to purchase that fruit and strangely enough: no husband in sight.
An odd hallucination perhaps?
You were being followed, very conspicuously might I add. Clearly they thought themselves to be a master spy by the way they hid behind dumpsters, peeked around poles and made themselves the most obvious person in the ocean of people. Pure lunacy or a power move you weren't sure of yet, the garment they wore a dead giveaway to their intentions. The deep navy uniforms of the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. A sorcerer and not a good one if their sneaking skills alluded to their abilities.
Far more inconspicuously you took a look at the figure with the reflection of a shop's window pane. A young man, average, pink undercut and overall nondescript but there was something familiar about his aura. A sinister darkness that was foreign in his kind features. That couldn't be natural. Sepia shaded orbs trained on your figure with a burning intensity that would set your soul on fire with its pinpoint directness. The more important matter was why a sorcerer was following you. To your knowledge they believed Sukuna was a myth and your marriage to him had been forgotten in the past seven hundred years so was it superstition that led him to follow you? Or did you have a curse attached to you and he was doing his job?
Odd, to say the least.
"Excuse me? Uhh, hello? Uhm..'scuse me."
A hand clamped down on your shoulder from the opposite direction you had been watching the sorcerer. Turning back around what did you find? The very same magic user you had been spying. How did he move so quickly? That was a split moment and he was behind you. How did he manage that?
"Yes?" You responded, face rather devoid of emotions while taking a closer inspection at the sorcerer. Upon closer look he was indeed a boy, in the middle of his teen years at the most yet experience had aged his soul considerably. The windows of his eyes closer to that of a wizened old monk rather than a bright-eyed pubescent teenager. The oddest feature that stood out were the dark tattoo's across the bottom edges of his eye sockets, rather distinguished against the otherwise blank face. Fashion statements got stranger and stranger with each passing century.
The boy appeared to have a goal in mind as his eyes searched your face, your eyes and the windows to your soul. Whatever he was looking for either wasn't there or he kept the discovery to himself because after his hand was removed he sheepishly scratched the back of his neck. "Oops, sorry! Thought you were someone else."
"No harm done, honest mistake."
Without another word the sorcerer boy turned on his heel and retreated in the direction he came from. How he had managed to double back and come from your blind spot was still a mystery, there must've been more than meets the eye on that boy.
Yuji Itadori returned to the First Year dorm hall and slid the door closed behind him as he entered. It was late, much later than when he was expected to be in bed and resting. If anyone had noticed his absence then he'd be in a world of pain. What could be worse than the punishment's Gojo could think up? Well, there was one thing. That tattooed psychopath using his body as a vessel. Whoever that person was had set him off. The control he originally thought he had on the cursed spirit had hung by a thread, a battle on who got to control his body raging on. It was a stalemate, mostly. He had control over the vast majority of his facilities but that uppy bastard had gotten his hand in the metaphorical doorway and pried himself into the driver's sleg. Taking over his legs and waltzing up to them and without a plan. They were lucky he had regained himself right as he touched them, what would've happened if he hadn't? There were moments he went on and on about slaughtering women and children like maggots but was the sight of them enough to cause a sudden bloody rampage? Apparently so.
The transition to phase into the mindscape that kept Sukuna contained was seamless. As if he had walked to another section of a home, could be considered as easy as breathing but whenever he was there it was not because he went willingly. He was summoned.
On the pinnacle of the mountain of bones, perched upon on the throne, Yuji noticed there was a crazed grin on the very man's face. Revealing the pearly whites amidst his bloody gums, eyes wide as he leaned forward. Not looking at his host, quite the opposite but something beyond him. Shoulders cloaked in a white robe rose and fell in time with his maniacal giggles, gleeful and relieved. It would be perturbing if he wasn't used to the grating sound by now. The reason why he was laughing was the disconcerting subject.
"Ahh, there you are, dearest spouse. How long will it take until you return to me?"

Round 1 - Simblr's Saddest, Wettest Meow Meow - Mainline
Saxen (@herecirmsims) VS. Nancy Landgraab (@fallstaticexit)
(polls are presented left -> right unless stated otherwise)
Who's sadder? Who's wetter? Read on for more information, and vote with your heart!

She's a cheater, she's a liar, she's about to get into some risky, sketchy business, she disappoints her children, she's morally grey, she's a top, she's catholic, she's a cougar, she likes to splurge on dr*gs and strippers, the list goes on. ahhh.

➥ Second child of House Gillmere, being raised by an heiress in her own right granted Aviana a less conventional upbringing than many of her peers. Though she showed no particular aptitude for the sword (a fact she’s convinced disappoints her mother), she and her siblings were taught under the same tutors regardless of sex, and what she lacked in grace or ferocity, she made up in a voracious appetite for knowledge.
➥ For the most part her childhood was practically idyllic, her family was happy and she trusted that while perfection was impossible, she could expect a safe and happy life ahead of her.
➥ When she turned 19 she was betrothed to a young man not much older than herself, to great fanfare and public approval. He was lovely, and chivalrous, and after a lifetime surrounded by people who loved each other it was easy to believe that a handsome soul glowed from that handsome face. She’d played every game exactly as she should, and being a good and dutiful daughter was paying off.
➥ A year later, when he was thrown from his horse and tragically killed.. well by that time Aviana had learned that evil and good can often look quite similar, on the surface.
➥ Most people thought it was grief that drove her to retreat from society to hide away in the family home, and it was if you think technically; she was never a good enough actress to fake grief for so long when all she truly felt was relief.
➥ The line between “bereaved fiance” and “loony hermit” has grown thinner every year, and Avi has accepted that it’s time for her to return to public life. That doesn’t mean she’s happy about it.
【 ʜᴇᴀᴅᴄᴀɴᴏɴs 】
➥ A talented weaver, Avi can often be found working at her loom, usually conscripting one of her siblings or tutors to sit and chat about politics or gossip while she does. Quite a few of her nicer gowns are made of cloth she wove herself.
➥ Aviana never told anyone her concerns about her fiance, and while she thinks her mother and closest sibling may suspect, she’s decided to take it to her grave. It’s entirely possible they clocked the personality shift, but she doesn’t discuss it.
➥ Her family was always one to emphasize self-defense, and though Avi’s sword and knife skills are rudimentary at best, she makes it a point to keep a rather pretty locket on almost all the time, and really it’s not like it’s anyone’s business what she keeps in there.
➥ Monkshood, it’s full of enough monkshood to kill a horse or three. She’s a wimp, not a moron.
➥ An absolutely terrible dancer, anything faster than a gentle stroll has her sitting out and pretending she just needs some air.
【 ᴄᴏɴɴᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴs 】
➥ Late Fiance’s Family - He was an emotionally abusive jerk, but I’d love to see Avi have to play nice with his living family. Or maybe they knew, and she’s pretending it was all fine for no reason.
➥ Peers - Avi gets along well enough with the others of her social class, particularly the young ladies. She’d be most likely to cultivate friendships with similarly cynical ladies in her social circle, just because it’s much more fun to talk about politics when you know going after each other if the wind shifts is a distinct possibility.
➥ Husbandly Target - If she wants to get anywhere in the grander world (and she doesn’t wish ill on her older sibling) Aviana is going to need to marry. Determined to make a better match this time around, Aviana is involving herself quite a bit more in her search for a suitable husband, and she’s much less bashful about discussing things in frank terms this go-round. Any eligible bachelors will likely get sussed out as possibilities.

The Angel Among Us (Cordelia X reader) Part 1
(This chapter has been rewritten/ edited since original post)
General Notice: I’m trying to get more works out during this time that is rough for all of us. That being said I am trying to keep it’s quality up.
This is technically a prequel to Fallen Angel (Work in progress), however it can be read as a stand alone series.
Summary:
If your reading as a stand alone: A witch heads back to Miss Robichaux's 20 years after she left in hopes of being a teacher there. The only problem is she hasn’t aged a day.
If your from Fallen Angel: The event’s leading up to Y/N joining Michael and the Cooperative.
Warnings: N/A
Parts: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 , Part 4(will be added when done)
It had been years since you left Miss Robichaux's academy or spoken to your best friend from that place. How long it had been exactly was something you were unsure of. It felt like days, but it could have been decades. The school's exterior hadn't aged a day since you first stepped into that academy for extraordinary young ladies. To be fair, neither had you.
The two-story building towered over you as it did at 18. You tried to move on from those days alas your memory of the place remained in your stagnant life. You had ambitions once, now unsure of what they were. You weren't necessarily from New Orleans, but your ancestry was from Salem or at least from what the letter your mother sent you explaining your oddities.
Years on and you stood in front of the cast iron gates just as petrified as you were on your first day. You had nothing to lose except your old way of thinking. Now, there was her. You wouldn't expect someone to accept you as you are. There was no way to explain what has become of you because nothing has, you were the same person you were when you exited her life.
The chuckles of girls playing in the yard filled your ears on the fine summer's day. Break time, you thought to yourself as you tugged your cardigan closer to her frame. You used to spend all your free time in the greenhouse with your friend. Potions weren't your forte, but she loved it so acted like you did...for her. It wasn't until recently that you learned to appreciate the natural science of it.
Your friend was your main reason for your resurgence into the world of magic. Her passion to teach the next generation of witches fuelled your pilgrimage of discovery of the world. To teach the wonderous world of extraordinary beings to the youth of today. You excelled in the history of Salem witches and your passion extended across other magical beings. The two of you used to joke that after years you would be the only two to remain behind. You wished for nothing more than to be with her for all eternity. Some dreams never go as they're planned. Namely, her husband, Hank Foxx. It could have been because you spent years surrounded by women, but that man didn't sit right with you. Nor did he to your friends Mother, one of the few things you got on with that woman about.
Her mother was a vile woman, the supreme witch since she was 18. She rarely took interest in the coven unless it was for self-benefit. She was a distant mother to her daughter, shipping her off to the school at the early age of 7. Your friend sought out a mother figure elsewhere, finding it in Myrtle Snow who ended up working for the council and doing the work the supreme refused to do. Her mother, Fiona, was long since dead, four years to be exact. Her title ironically passed down to her daughter. The worlds changed since your school days. You'd heard the news from your local sources, discovering Fiona's death when news of witches was broadcasted to the world. There was no way in hell Fiona would allow that. You were tempted to go to the opening, say hello to your old friend. But what would you say? It's been years. You left her all alone for years. How were you going to forgive yourself?
With a flick of the wrist, the gates were open. Your heart pounded to the beat of your footsteps. Your breath stilled when you knocked on the door. Maybe this was a mistake, you contemplated leaving. No one was answering. It was probably for the best.
The truth was years ago you had the chance to return but you refused. The only reason you were here now was for purely selfish reasons. The balance of good and bad had shifted and in your trail to correct the scale, you wound up in a lot of trouble. You had nowhere to go. Your home was no longer your own and you were on were on the run.
You sighed, turning around, and heading down the concrete path. The iron gate closed before you could leave. Your ears register a voice a second later. You spun around to be greeted by a young woman. She was short (but compared to you most women where) with long straight brown hair.
"Good, I got your attention, I thought you were going to escape," the woman joked. You chuckled awkwardly in response. Now that you were leaving, you did not really want to be there. "You knocked on the school's door?"
"-Yeah." You didn't even imagine the possibility of it not being- of course, it wouldn't be her. She was supreme now, she had better things to do than answering the school's door. "Yeah, sorry. I'm slighting out of it, nerves and all."
"It's alright. Most girls are nervous when they first arrive."
You chuckled once again, awkwardly, "I bet."
The woman let you inside telling you she would lead you to the Headmistress to fill out all the paperwork.
"Crap, I forgot she's in a meeting right now," the young woman said. "And I have to teach a class in a minute."
"You're a teacher?" The woman was used to the question from how young she was. "What age range are you teaching?"
"Right now, Pre-teen years. They're usually the worst to deal with."
"I bet. I could sit in and watch you teach them while we wait for Cordelia. Hell, you might be able to teach me something." Zoe hadn't mentioned the Supreme's name, so she assumed you knew it from the television segment a while back.
"If it doesn't bother you."
"It's no problem at all."
The woman led you to the kitchen dining room where a bunch of restless girls were mucking about. They all stilled, taking their seats, a few still mucking about as they did so. All the girls stared at you, one asking why you were so tall. You laughed, saying "Platforms" showing your four-inch platforms that were hidden by your floor-length skirt before you stole one of the free seats moving it out of the way so the woman could teach.
As the lesson when on you noticed one of the girls was struggling with her work. You noticed how she seemed to be too shy to ask for help. The girl beside her flying head and boasting about her skills, most likely bringing the girl down (unintentionally), in the process. You stood up and quietly as to not disturb the class and moved over to the girl.
"Hi, my name's Y/N. What's yours?" You asked her quietly.
"Emily," she whispered.
"Nice to meet you, Emily. Do you need any help with your work?" She shook her head. "Can I help you with your work?" She looked at you hesitantly then up to Ms who was too busy to notice you had moved over to the girl.
"If you want."
"How about you tell me what you're learning?" You started with. She shrugged. "What's the title of your worksheet?"
"Types of Magic?"
"Yes, that's correct. Now, what are the two main types of magic?" She remained quiet. "Clue: what's above you?"
"A roof?"
You chuckled, "Technically, that is right, but I meant that-" you point to the light globe.
"Oh, a light. Light and dark!" She got excited, raising her voice from a whisper. This caught the attention of the teacher.
"Yes, that's correct. All magic users fall into one of those two. Us witches fall into the light magic, even the darkest, most evil witch still uses light magic. There are others who would also fall into this side such as angels."
"Angels exist?"
"Supposedly. I've never met one," You said. "Even though there is light and dark magic, the purpose a person uses it for can differ. You know who I mentioned a witch using her light magic for evil?" Emily nodded. "She would be using-"
You went on explaining to Emily. A few of the girls around her joined in listening to you explain the course to her. You added pointers their teacher hadn't mentioned and some you picked up from your years of living a magic-filled life. You only noticed you had stolen the attention of all the girls when the others began asking you questions. The teacher was gone from where you last saw her. You asked the girl what the teacher's name was. You had forgotten to ask earlier.
"I'm so sorry Zoe, I didn't mean to take over your class," you said when you finally spotted her. "I was only trying to help Em with her work."
"Em?" Emily repeated.
"I give all my friends and family nicknames. I didn't think-" She leapt up and gave your waist a hug before you got another word in. She repeated the word friend back to you excited by the prospect of gaining a new friend. You gathered she was new or had a hard time with people since she found the idea of you being her friend exciting. You chuckled, rustling her hair with your hand. "Okay, enough hugging. I better let you get back to class. I stole enough of your time."
"Actually, class is over," Zoe said.
"Oh~ I'm so-" You went to apologise when the woman cut you off.
"No, it's fine. It's better they understand the work then rushing ahead and then not knowing it correctly." She silently conferred that what you had said to them was correct. She would have interrupted, adding her two sense if something seemed off. The teacher found your allegory's to be helpful in explaining the content as well as refreshing.
"Zoe's right, it's better that they understand the work. One wrong preformed spell and it could be disastrous." You knew that voice anywhere. "I was informed that we had a new student, so I came down as soon as I-"
Your head perked up to look at the woman that owned your body and soul. Your eyes begged for her to recognise you, to pull you into her embrace. You smiled sweetly at her in the way only you could. She returned the gesture. Her face was warm and welcoming as ever but as she got a better look at you, you noticed the change in her expression. The shift was slight but noticeable solely because you sought it out. You pulled yourself away from Emily carefully. As soon as you were detached, you headed over to the headmistress offering your gloved hand to her.
"L/N." She accepted your offer of a handshake. Her grip was strong excuding confidence dissimilar to the woman you left behind years prior. You kept a natural level of eye contact to not seem suspicious. Giving your last name was a test. You didn't want to scare her off immediately nor face the slap she will most likely give you when she puts the pieces together. "I was actually here to offer to be a teacher if you needed one," you said. "I know you had a large incline of students recently as well as limited staff. I don't know if that has since changed. Even if you just need someone to mark homework or assessments, I don't mind. I have all the credentials I would need for a normal teaching job along with working with children's card. Everything's in my satchel." You didn't find in necessary to mention the repercussions of not being accepted. Stating your problems wasn't your way. They were yours, there was no need to share.
"We can discuss this further in my office." Cordelia gestured into the hallway. You waved bye to the girls and said goodbye to Zoe.
Before Cordelia left Zoe pulled her aside. She noticed the facial expression shift too.
"You alright Cordelia?"
"Yeah," She whispered back to her friend. "She looks like a friend, I had years back."
"She could be a relative. Sister, daughter, cousin-"
"She had no living family," Cordelia told Zoe. "The girl's too old to be a daughter." She sighed, "It's fine, it's a freaky coincidence."
"You don't need to hire her."
"It would be helpful to have some extra help around here. She seemed to be great with the younger ones and we know how much of a feat that is." They both chuckled. "I shouldn't keep her waiting."
Cordelia kept eyeing you occasionally when talking to Zoe. You gathered she was talking about you, but it wasn't your place to listen. It's not nice to eavesdrop.
You remained quiet, listening for her to talk as the two of you headed to her office. Upstairs, first room on the right, just as you remembered. "As you know, that is Zoe. We had another teacher but unfortunately, we lost her. You will occasionally see an older woman here named Myrtle; she doesn't teach the students, but she helps me with council work." You smiled knowing Myrtle was here and still a part of the council.
Cordelia opened her office allowing you to walk in first. You noticed the familiar redhead in the corner of Cordelia's office drinking. Cordelia told you to take a seat at her desk while she got the paperwork ready. You pulled out your documentation placing it on the table before drawing your attention to the older woman behind you. Myrtle was talking to Cordelia about something irrelevant to you when she stopped mid-sentence, something you had never seen her do.
Cordelia cleared her throat, earning your attention. You spun around slowly. Cordelia told you that your documentation would not be relevant since they had an unorthodox away of job selecting. The past isn't relevant to her as long as you weren't her to bring harm to her girls. You insisted she took a look to ease your mind and to make her away of your qualifications.
"Now Y/N-" She wasn't meant to say that. She quickly went to cover it up, "Sorry I mean-" She picked up your papers searching your name on them.
"No, you were right." You adjusted the wire framed glasses on your face. One of the few new things about you. "Y/N M/N L/N."
"Is Y/N a family name?" Cordelia asked. "Like how some men name their son's the same name but call them junior."
"I don't believe so," You said, acting oblivious. You already came off strong demanding a job. "I don't have much of a family."
Cordelia's eyes widened. It couldn't be?
"Can I see your ID?"
"Sure." You fish through your bag pulling out a worn-down purse that she gifted to you years ago. Cordelia went to say something but held herself back, instead looking over to Myrtle with a questioning look. The oldest woman in the room shared the same level of confusion. "I should warn you; I apparently look a lot younger than my age."
You handed over your card to Cordelia.
"Y/n, what had you want to become a teacher?"
"Well, that's a tough question. I mean, where to begin?" You laughed. "I've always had a knack for the history of the Salem coven and it transformed into a fascination with magic in general. I guess I want to put my knowledge to good use. There's no point allowing it to waste away up here and recording it down in a book never sounded as appealing as verbally communicating it." Cordelia nodded along keeping a hold of your identification. "One of my friends used to joke that we'd both be here teaching together. Things didn't go as planned."
"They never do." Cordelia said. "I hope you don't mind but I need a secondary opinion on your resume." She ushered over Myrtle and the two had a quick conversation. She didn't believe you, she had to be asking about if it was possible, Myrtle would probably suggested plastic surgery as a possibility as to your appearance or some other thing you couldn't do.
"Could she have done Tempus Infinituum or something similar? It would explain why I- we haven't heard anything from her." The two look at you sat there twiddling your thumbs.
You always assumed your ageless appearance was some genetic thing or something to do with your magic. You're still trying to figure that out and was hoping she could help you out with that, or someone here could. Obviously, that wasn't your purpose for coming back.
"Is it really you Y/N?"
You nodded. Her eyes teared up and a smile formed on her face. She shook her head not wanting to jump the gun or overstep her boundary. It had been years and she had no clue what you had been through. It would have to be hell in order for you to leave. The two of you were inseparable before you vanished.
"I can prove it. Ask me anything only I would know."
Your words were enough, the tale you told of your friend and how much of a history buff you were.
"I can do one better, give me your hand." She laid her hand out for you to grab. You didn't understand. "A lot has happened since you left, one being I got The Sight."
As soon as you heard that you grabbed her hand allowing the skin to skin contact to explain away everything it had to. It hit you a second later, you shouldn't have rushed it. There were things she didn't need to know that she may now have access too. She tore your glove from your hand allowing her fingers to slip between yours. She gasped watching your earlier twenties up until now flash through her mind.
She retracted from you, allowing herself a moment to get air in her lungs. "Y-y-you-" she stuttered. Her eyes flicked from you to her aunt. Shock covered her face. Her eyes settled on you and you expected her to say something about how this was unbelievable. "Why are your hands so cold?"
"What?" Not what you were expecting.
"You're freezing, I'm going to find you a blanket."
"You don't need to, I'm fine-" Her glare at you urged you to shut you up quickly. She used to do the same thing back in the day. "I'm serious, I'm always this cold. Why do you think I dress like this?"
You got up, following her down the corridor and up the stairs to a bedroom. You attempted to reason with her that you were fine, you were always ice cold which concerned her more. "That's not normal Y/N/N" 'Y/N/N?' You smiled upon hearing your nickname from long ago.
"You'll learn not a lot about me is-" You kidded.
"Sit down on the bed, I'm getting out the winter blankets."
"But it's summer-"
"And your freezing."
She headed into her closet only returning a few minutes later with the thickest blanket she owned. You were already dressed inappropriately for the weather, cloaked in long sleeved maxi length dress, thick woollen stockings, below the knee boots that were hidden by your dress. You also had a cardigan you removed upon entering the school grounds. Cordelia wrapped the blanket around before forcing you to lay down. You whined, using that you were wearing shoes as an excuse. She removed them, seeing how much big the sole was she asked, "How do you walk in these?"
"How do you walk in heels?"
"Touche."
The two of you started cackling. Soon you were swaddled up in a blanket, lying on what you assumed was Cordelia's bed telling stories and laughing at each other's misfortune like it was old times. You had learned the unfortunate events that led to her ex-husbands death. A witch hunter, you should have guessed.
"I missed you," Cordelia admitted. You remained quiet, wanting to say it back but not having the courage. Like the last time, you had seen her, her wedding. You, the maid of honour, left early. You knew you would have to explain it to her, but you couldn't. You didn't want to force your feelings onto her, that's why you never told her then and that's why you can't tell her you missed her now. You missed her more than she could ever believe. "I saw- I mean... I know. I know you miss me too." She moved closer to you, resting her head onto your shoulder. "I know you missed me too."

Tmnt 2012 ninjago vers crossover/au idea that im gonna ramble about
Im actually writing a story for this...and rewatching tmnt 2012 cause Im forgetting some kinda important details. But I kinda wanted to ramble about this and some of the details about it.
First off in this au ninjago is gone. Something happened and ninjago just vanished. Everyone from ninjago however ether escaped to another world(the serpentine ended up in Chima) or got reincarnated.
However vecause of some magical shinanigans the powers of the elmental masters turned into crystals. These crystals can only be used by the ones who hold the soul(s) of their previous users.
The ninja their family friends and a good deal of their enamies got reincarnated in the world of the 2012 turtles. This is where things get...complicated.
Jay's biological mother was reincarnated as Hamato Yoshi's younger sister. She looked up to him and her adopted big brother, Saki. She was also the one who litsened to Saki when he was having romance issues. She actually managed to get on Saki's do NOT kill list cause of the fact she was in the dark about a lot of things. He sent her off to new york to meet a movie star she'd become a fan of.
Jay was reincarnated as her kid. However due to some underminer in the foot, that Saki killed for disobedance, she had to hide Jay. She ended up hiding him with a reincarnated Ed and Edna walker, who have the same name. She still died, after fleeing to new york which is the last place she thought she'd be found. So yeah Jay is the biological cousin of Karai and the cousin of our favorite turtles cause of this.
Cole's mom was part of a clan that were allies to the Hamato. After Saki killed off all the Hamatos he could bring himself to kill or could find, given their are only 4 or 5 and the clan had been a lot bigger that's not saying much, he went after the allied clans.
Though Saki hadnt been Cole's mom only problem. Her clan was pretty strick on the aranged marage thing. She however fell in love with Lou (again technically). The two married in secret and had Cole. Since this was a secret from her whole damned clan when Saki killed her clan including her there was two thecnical servivors: Lou and Cole.
Lou is very aware of this. He knew the clan didn't know and he knows Cole will probably never know but he still worries. He also misses his wife. (The clan name I havent figured out.)
At this point Im just gonna drop the reincarnated reminders cause it's getting to be a headace to rember to add it.
Dr. Jullian was also from an allied clan, the Hanafuyu clan. However he hasnt died. He hid really well able to change his name without Saki finding out and hiding in Alaska where he built and raised Zane and Echo...and Falcon sorta. The two are very aware they are in danger if Saki ever finds out about them.
Kai and Nya's story is actually relatively the same. Ray and Maya were not connected to the Hamatos. They were still captured and forced to work for an enemy. The biggest change is that Wu went and got them to raise them due to reasons.
Lloyd sorta has a similar backstory to cannon too. However what caused Garmadon to become corrupted was something diffrent this time and the man joined Saki. Misako hid Lloyd with Wu this time around while she went to look for a way to cure her husband.
Wu was living in New York. Lou and cole moved there when Cole was 9. The walkers and Julian's moved there when their kids were, roughly, teens or becoming teens (in Echo's case). Wu trianed Kai, Nya, and Lloyd as ninja since he became their guardian. He started training Cole after the three meet him in elementery school and realized something. Dr.Jullian being part of a ninja clan taught Echo and Zane. Jay ligit is the only one withput ninja training, besides April, of the main cast when the story starts.
Now I know I mentioned the crystals and that is important. Wu and Garmadon both know about them, and Wu had to tell Kai, Nya, and Lloyd about them and later Cole. The ninja actually all have theirs. Jay and Cole wear theirs as braclets, Kai and Lloyd wear them as necklaces, Nya wears her's as a hair clip. Zane's is in his chest as his power sorce.
Jay is the only one unaware he has powers. Zane discovered his durring training. The others were told about theirs. He also never questioned why he never got shocked when working on things.
This only covers the ninjago half jeeze. So for more of the tmnt half. Yoshi is aware that his sister and Cole's mom are dead. They died roughly around the same time and it was put into a news paper. He knew Coel's mom personally, they were friends, and he mourned their deaths. He dosent know what's happened with the allied clans other wise. He also had known Wu before he got mutated though he hasnt seen him since due to well mutation.
I'd say more but then I might ruin what I got planned for the story. But I do say the story starts with Zane and Jay transfering to their high school, which is the same one April goes to, and April showes them around. Theres a few chs before

Winx characters from Earth!!!!
Macy, Mitzi, Morgana in civvies with husband klaus, Morgana in fairy form, Nebula, Diana, Aurora, Sybila, and Eldora
hcs and lore for my ridiculous version of winx below the cut
Macy- yes thats macy , yes she only appeared in one episode(but shes so cute i had to draw her), yes i made her a scene kid. Macy is pretty similar to her in show personality, shes a sweet heart, pretty quiet, and likes plants, she has a new hobby every month or so tho, and is into anime and shit lol (also half of her scene clothing might be hand-me-downs from Mitzi’s emo phase but shhhhh)
Mitzi- I didn’t want to make Mitzi the bombshell cheerleader type popular girl, so instead I went for self important, pseudo intellectual, hipster girl with a quirky fashion sense and “better than you” attitude. She’s a writer and is majoring in journalism.
Civilian Morgana and Klaus- After Morgana steps down from her queendom, she and Klaus manage the Fruity Smoothie Bar together and are looking to expand to a second location sometime soon. Morgana doesn’t really use her powers very often(partially she can’t), but will do little magic light shows for Klaus because he loves them. They are still horribly in love and have a date night every chance they get and Roxy has an instagram devoted to every sickeningly sweet and gushy line or smooch her parents share in front of her.
Queen Morgana- So basically most magic user/magical creature were imprisoned in Tir Nan Og just before the dark ages (300 CE or so) the wizards of the black circle had a couple issues with some of them escaping and re-enforced the barrier after the renaissance so that nothing could get in or out if it have even a smidge of magic. (the winx were able to get in since the barrier started to deteriorate after time) Morgana, in a last ditch effort attempted to force her way through the barrier(her magic would be ripped out of her in the process) her three generals and Sibylla (sibylla is a judge more than a general) didn’t want her to be with out protection so they put their most powerful spells inside four glass marbles, which were then encased in an iron locket Morgana wore.
Her generals, and the rest of the magic users in Tir Nan Og focused on the weakest part of the barrier and Morgana forged her way through, she had to use Diana’s gift to grow a plant boat for her to get to mainland europe. Morgana started to experience slight losses in memory as a result of going through the barrier(which erases all magic, including the memory of it), and started keeping a journal so she wouldn’t forget her purpose. She spent a couple years wandering the earth with out any direction trying to find any magic users who had escaped the wizards, but didn’t have much luck. She knew the more magic she kept around her, the more of her memories she would keep but She used Aurora’s gift to make a compass that would point her in the direction of fairy magic which after a couple MORE years of nothing, leads her to baby bloom, who had the faintest trace of fairy magic on her. but like. you can’t really recruit a baby to fight a war.
Morgana has about half her memories now and sticks around in Gardenia with a vague sense she should be doing something important. She uses Sibylla’s gift to try and cast a memory spell and put her mind in order, but it only helps a little, she remembers she had magic, that she left her friends, and that the locket she’s wearing is important, but not much more. This is about the time Morgana meets Klaus, and as she forms an attachment her memory slides away even faster until the only thing she remembers even slightly related to magic is that her locket is important and must never leave her.
After Roxy is born with semi-intact magic (the wizards can’t really detect it, but it needs to be kick-started because of the lack of environmental magic that’s important to a fairy’s development) Morgana opens her locket to put a lock of roxy’s hair inside the locket which reacts with Nebula’s gift creating a spark of a memory in Morgana and she just KNOWS she has to get back to whoever gave her this locket. She, roxy and klaus find their way to Tir Nan Og, where the barrier has deteriorated enough that some magic is leaking through, allowing Morgana to realize she won’t be able to come back out after she goes in. She uses Nebula’s gift to bring peace to Klaus and Roxy’s memories, effectively erasing herself from them, and returns to her kingdom, much to the relief of her people.
NOTE- All of the earth fairies here are in a transformation called Danix (named after the creator Dana), its generally Earth specific, but could be attained on other planets. Fairies who have earned their enchantix will bind their powers to a source of magic on earth (such as the sacred bud in the amazon, the north or south poles, Tir Nan Og, the source of the Nile river etc.) this can be a very dangerous and time consuming process, which is why any fairy that achieves it is automatically part of the royal court. This transformation gives the fairy additional powers, and increases durability and magical stamina. however if their source dies or is injured the fairy suffers the consequence as well.
Nebula- Nebula has bound her magic to the source of magic found in Trondheim, Norway, which is generally considered the war source, its powers cover strength, metal, and physical magics. She is also bound to the source of peace in Lake Itasca in the USA, which covers prosperity, fertility, and emotion magic. She is one of the only fairies to have more than one power source. She initially was only going to be the major fairy of war, but Morgana could see that ending badly considering Nebula’s aggressive and hot headed nature and encouraged her to pursue the peace source as well.
Diana- She’s bound to the sacred bud which is the source of all of earth’s wild magic. It’s located some where in the Amazon Basin but since it’s the source of wild magic the bud tends to change locations. Diana has the basic nature powers of plants and the like, but also holds power over animals and water. She’s fairly antisocial, preferring to live with her source than in Tir Nan Og. She is also very impulsive, and often jumps before looking.
Aurora- Aurora undertook one of the more dangerous bindings of the north pole, which is the source of ice, wind, and light magics. She lost her fingers and toes to frostbite during the binding. Aurora is very cold and pragmatic, offering a counter balance to both nebula and Diana.
Sibylla- Sibylla is bound to the source in the sibillini mountains, specifically to one large tree, its the source of order, justice, and binding magic. Sibylla was born blind, and tho not even sure if she could hear her eyes, has chosen not to use her healing powers in order to make sure she doesn’t fall prey to visual biases.
Eldora- She’s technically bound to the source in Alexandria(source of mind, information, and paper related magics) and is the major fairy of learning. She was one of the major fairies who weren’t trapped in Tir Nan Og. She and the other fairies mounted rescue attempts, but as they started to be picked off, decided to lay low. Eldora was actually part of the 7 fairies who fought Acheron. During Acheron’s height of power, he used one of the items trapped in his book to curse Eldora. The Red Shoes are very dangerous, feel like hot coals, will literally dance you to death, and you can’t really take them off. Eldora survived by amputating her legs below the knee, faked her death, and went into hiding, believing all of the other fairies to be either dead or trapped. She lost access to her powers after creating and losing her Mythix wand, but regained them after getting the wand back. She usually prefers a wheel chair, but her fairy form substitutes prosthetics.

I kinda want to stick the boys in an urban fantasy setting like the one I’ve been developing for a few years.
Virgil wasn’t born with magic but made friends with a witch and is now a warlock that specializes in rune magic. He knows how to perform blood magic too but only uses it for larger spells. In this universe real, effective witchcraft done through rituals can only be performed by people with a shattered soul. It’s a sort of consolation prize the universe gives them for having to live with the emotional pain that comes with that. Virgil’s soul was broken in increments throughout his childhood through extreme bullying that he never reported to his parents. Like with many other witches and warlocks learning ritual magic and finding a community saved his life. He can see the state of other people’s souls and read what kind of inherent magic they have at a glance.
He’s a student getting a doctorate in the hopes of becoming a research professor at a prominent university. He’s that graduate student that’s also teaching an into to chemistry class to mostly freshmen and walks in to every class one minute late and with a bunch of disorganized papers in hand. A lot of people are surprised he’s trying to become a professor, especially when they see the weird runes tattooed on his arm. “what do they mean?” they always ask. “Some old poem thing.” he always replies, leaving it at that.
His introduction to the underground community was slow because registering witches and warlocks is complicated. Technically they’re not supposed to exist but the government learned long ago they’re not going anywhere so they just have to accept them in if they manage to master their craft.
Logan is an A-class weapons master. A-class is the highest level of natural power one can posses and a weapons master is someone that can summon weapons and learn to master them far faster than any other human would be able to. They also have the ability to enchant or curse weapons. Logan would randomly accidentally curse knives by accident when he was a little kid and the government was monitoring him from a young age because something was detected when he was a baby. When his “little problem” as his mother called it showed up they had people knocking on their door basically the next day.
He’s been taught how to fight and be a killing machine since he was a little kid for two reasons. 1. All magical persons are guaranteed through international law an opportunity to receive mentoring and instruction in their abilities and how to control them and Logan’s abilities are basically only useful if you’re fighting or cursing your uncle’s hunting rifle. 2. Magical persons are actually usually in danger of being attacked or turned into the authorities because most people in the world don’t know magic exists or understand it and A-class persons are especially vulnerable because they don’t always have control over their abilities so able bodied A-class magic users are strongly encouraged to learn how to fight and defend themselves. Logan’s parents took this advice and basically let his mentor shape him into a fighting machine.
He doesn’t like it but he was coerced into joining the marines as a teenager and he didn’t see until he was in the thick of things how much he actually hates the cards that he was dealt in life. It was at about his fifth confirmed kill on a special mission with two other weapons masters that he realized he didn’t want to be there. He tends to not answer questions about all the scars he has. If he does he just claims to be accident prone.
His day job now is working as an editor for a prominent literary magazine. Unfortunately for him he’s still really infamous and his uncle’s hunting rifle still teleports to another room whenever a person with A- blood touches it. His ex-boyfriend broke up with him because he one time conjured a dagger in his sleep and injured both of them in the process. Because of how infamous he is in certain parts of the magical community there’s always someone that wants to blackmail him into helping them somehow. Logan usually ends up snuffing the problem out relatively quickly though. He’s made it very clear that he wants to continue spending his days sorting through poetry submissions and he’s willing to get a little more blood on his hands to make sure that it stays that way. His current interaction with the underground doesn’t go much further than the occasional veterans support group meeting and maybe a visit to the magical clinic to have his energy levels checked.
Patton is a C-level spell caster. Different from a witch or warlock, often called a wizard or sorcerer instead. C-class is the lowest level of magic where inherent abilities are able to be used reliably (rather than just in moments of extreme panic like with most humans) and spell casters are persons with undifferentiated magic that can be directed with helpful objects. Wands, jewelry, magical knives, whatever. Hands only magic is also taught but is less exact unless you put a lot of effort into your training. Patton did not put a lot of effort into his training.
Basically think of spell casters as jack of all trades master of none type of magic. They can do anything, just not super powerfully. They can summon fire, sure, but someone with fire specific magic would be able to easily burn down an entire building while they can maybe light a candle. The most powerful of them might be able to do a flamethrower for a few seconds.
Patton uses his magic for fun, mostly. He works at the magical community center and teaches an intro to history of magic class and a basic magical law course for adults that discover their powers late and parents of magical children. If anyone without an “in pass” (permission to access the underground and granted immunity from memory wipes) asks what his day job is, he teaches adult school. He speaks Spanish and ASL as well as English and just generally shows a lot of love and patience to people being thrown into this world. He’s a supporter of the movement to integrate magic into everyday life and expose it to the world but knows that’s probably not going to happen in his lifetime.
Sometimes his classes will get bored and he’ll ask if they want to see something he’s been practicing and then he’ll try a new spell he’s been practicing with his expensive looking watch that he uses as his casting device and sometimes he causes a power outage. Only sometimes though, as he will quickly remind his boss.
Roman is a B-class charmer. That is, a person with moderately powerful charm magic. He can influence people easily and make them ignore some of the bad things about him and focus on the parts that they like instead. As a rule charmers aren’t usually introduced to the underground or made aware of their status as a magical person unless a friend or family member fills out the paperwork to let them in on their secret or someone int heir immediate family turns out to be magical. The reason is that charming is by far the most common magical ability (they almost outnumber the entire magical population on their own) and can only learn to control their powers to a certain degree. And of course of a B or A-class charmer learns how to control their abilities more the potential of them becoming more dangerous skyrockets. Charmers that powerful are quite rare, but they can’t make an exception for them.
Roman found out that he has this charming ability because as it turns out, his adopted daughter has the ability to control plants. When the scary people with clipboards and neckties and weird looking guns on their hips came to his door to explain to him and his husband that magic is real they also brought up Roman’s own magic. When they explained how it worked suddenly Roman got a horrible feeling in his stomach. Suddenly his whole life made a lot more sense, and suddenly he felt sort of bad for making a career as an influencer (he makes Instagram videos and YouTube commentary videos and confession type stuff, sort of akin to Dan Howell’s old stuff). And understandably this has but a lot of questions between him and his husband and if his husband was influenced by this ability Roman didn’t know he had. He is really conflicted. On one hand, he has something to talk to his daughter about and he’s learning to control himself better and find other people that relate to him. On the other hand, he feels a bit bad whenever one of his videos goes viral now, his husband doesn’t like appearing in videos anymore, and there’s a weird rift int heir relationship they have to get over now.
I’m sure you’re wondering now how they all meet. Well, Virgil and Patton are old college roommates and Virgil is staying with him while he goes to grad school because graduate students make not a lot of money and as great as witchcraft is, it unfortunately can’t make money out of thin air.
Roman is taking Patton’s class with his husband. The husband stops going in the middle of the class and Patton senses something’s up. He invites Roman to have a friendly coffee and Roman ends up spilling everything that’s been going on and probably his coffee too.
Logan shows up at the university from time to time to go to poetry readings or talk with people in the literary community or see a lecture and Virgil catches a glimpse of him on one of his visits and thinks “Oh. An A-class with a cracked soul. That’s some valuable blood for potions and such.” and he proceeds to worm his way into Logan’s life to try and convince him to let him bottle some of his blood. Unfortunately for Virgil he ends up liking Logan so much that this request becomes more and more awkward sounding as time goes on and eventually he gives up on the idea. Logan deduces what he wanted when Virgil reveals that he’s a warlock and then shrugs and goes “I have plenty of scars already. What’s one more?” and then there’s a weird visit to Patton’s house where Roman and his husband are having an informal bit of couple’s therapy and Virgil is thinking about taking Logan int he back room to do some bloodletting which is being delayed because guests are here and Roman and Virgil hate each other immediately of course.
I could take all of this two ways. Magical friends living a weird everyday magical life and doing weird everyday shenanigans, or some weird dangerous event happens like someone killing off witches or Roman’s daughter getting kidnapped, forcing Logan out of retirement and Virgil into using some of those weird bottles of blood he’s been holding onto. Big or small. Who knows? Not me. This is just an outline for the au who knows if I’ll actually do anything with it

the timeline in which they had a person in their life when they needed one the most.
MEME. ; under read more because it became Long.
wherein layla heartfilia lives, lucy has wanderlust, jude heartfilia is a better businessman and everyone is collectively happier.
in this timeline---layla heartfilia has the aquarius key. layla heartfilia survives and the dragons comes through the gate and she has fulfilled her destiny. many heartfilia women knew the tale and since she was a child, this task was of utmost importance. in fact, until she met jude, she did not know if she even wanted to have children: her own mothers and their mothers etc; had burdened every daughter with the task of saving all of humanity through their celestial spirit magic.
but, then she met jude. and the idea of a family became something less burdensome, something that did not have the same connotations as what her own family was. and so: lucy heartfilia was born. in x777, layla did her duty with her keys and the stage was set.
in x777 layla released all her keys from her contract and was officially free of her own family’s destiny. she hugged her daughter tight and lucy made a friend that in another life, was an enemy: brandish. layla never died so grammi was never murdered by zoledo.
in x778, lucy expressed the wish to want to be a mage and use magic. layla, tactful as well as fearful, had her tutored for light magic through various books. of course, after teaching her the basics of all magic: the One Magic. she did not want her daughter to touch celestial spirit magic--the old burden still very fresh. so, caster magic it was.
in x779, lucy started to use magic, as well as brandish and the two would often play fight whenever grammi brought brandish over. nothing extreme, more just practicing spells. lucy was always a bright child and her writing had become even better and layla and jude could not be more proud of their daughter.
in x780, lucy and brandish wrote to each other often with brandish and her mother travelling. lucy missed her friend dearly and layla would make more effort in having her daughter feel less alone. in this timeline, lucy never felt neglected or unwanted: she felt loved and cherished. she was a bit more spoiled in this timeline, but still had a heart of gold and would often look for places where she wanted the heartfilia clan’s money to help aid. the orphan crisis from war, hungry people, the homeless crisis. all of it with good solutions that layla would read over before signing.
in x781, lucy’s light magic has been blossoming. layla and jude make the decision to seek a competent light magic user to fully tutor their daughter. nothing but the best for the daughter of the heartfilia konzern. even if the legality is covered in shades of gray they reach out to ivan dreyar, who was known to be intelligent and one of the very best who was independent. he agrees and lucy heartfilia meets ivan dreyar. in this year, lucy writes often to brandish about how smart her tutor is but also how much he expects of her which is a lot. lucy, always the optimist and hardworking, reaches each and every one of his goals.
in x782, brandish and grammi come back and ivan immediately has her battle brandish. the fight ends with a tie and ivan says the next time, lucy will win. lucy and brandish are still good friends and they spend a lot of time exchanging stories. lucy gets a taste of wanderlust from hearing of grammi and brandish’s travels. layla and jude watch their only daughter with pride as she becomes a stronger mage. layla attempts to reintroduce ivan in what conversations with adults are like and encourages him to speak and have a relationship with his son and mother. lucy also uses her magic in public for the first time. she also meets her first professional mages at a chairty event Gone Wrong when dark mages try to steal the money. she meets the strauss siblings of fairy tail and becomes enamored with them all (to ivan’s displeasure). the three of them keep up a correspondence with her from there on.
in x783, lucy’s wanderlust caught up to her and she wants to travel to a different part of fiore, at the very least. without her parents and ivan (who, at this point, is something of a third parent). her parents agree only after hiring mages to accompany her, should anything go wrong as she is a rich heiress. the mages they hire? the strauss siblings, who take this instead of an s-class quest since this one both pays more and they get to travel with lucy. ivan quietly broods as layla pours him some tea and jude asks him for his opinion on a business partner. there’s a reason why lucy thinks of him as a third parent. lucy meets her tutor’s son, laxus, when he visits. laxus is something of a jerk and lucy kicks him after ten minutes of meeting him. this makes laxus laugh and the two become friends as laxus and ivan restart their own familial relationship.
in x784, brandish and grammi return yet again and the two have missed each other a lot. lucy tells brandish of her crush on mira and brandish offers to confess to mirajane for lucy, to which lucy finally beats her in a battle. brandish and lucy both attend magnolia’s fantasia parade and lucy meets other ft members and also threatens makarov dreyar (to the amusement of both ivan and laxus. and to her parent’s quiet approval.). at the end of the summer of that year, key people from fairy tail dissappear and lucy regrets never telling mirajane how she felt about her. she and ivan both grieve and she comes out to ivan first, who then informs her that her parents would love her no matter what at this point, and lucy comes out to them. as always, ivan is right.
in x785, lucy heartfilia at 18 can finally go places without any supervision from her parents, her ivan, or people hired by her parents. she uses this time to travel around and have her own adventures as an independent mage (who does Not accept any cash from people). she writes home often, but does not return there. strangely, ivan is still there. she ends up meeting people from guilds: she runs into lamia scale’s team lyon and enjoys them all and trades stories with them. she pays for dinner. she meets some quatro cerberus members and parties with them and is hungover for two days after partying it up with DJ Hook Wizard Puppy. DJHWP is also responsible for hooking her up with a mage from MH, Viviana Webb.
in x786, Lucy stays closer to one place for the first time since travelling, but she has not joined a guild, nor has she returned home yet. ivan is still living at the Heartfilia compound. after ten months of dating, her and viviana webb break up on amicable terms. lucy once more, begins her travels and goes to iceberg. there, she meets a lot of different people and becomes more academically inclined here and goes to a higher learning facility, to ivan’s immense joy.

in x790, lucy finally attends the GMG and laughs at DJ’s shout outs to her as he is an announcer. gabrielle joins her in crocus and they make a vacation out of it. they watch as saberooth wins. sherry and viviana both tease her for supporting QC instead of lamia scale or mermaid heel and gabrielle laughs at her gf’s embarrassment. lucy is happy and her and gabrielle make it to the heartfilia compound at the conclusion of the games.
in x791, gabrielle proposes to lucy in the spring. lucy, who isnt ready for such a permanent life decision, rejects her. the two have a deep talk afterwards and once more, lucy amibably breaks up with her girlfriend. she goes back to fiore and finds out sherry is dating lyon vastia and makes her way to zinnia demanding details. in june, she returns home for a bit and ivan sits her down and explains that the GMG has something going on. he, layla and jude are going to investigate and since lucy is an adult, technically, she can join them. she does. when key fairy tail members return, both her and ivan go to magnolia and lucy is reunited with the strauss siblings as laxus and ivan are reunited with each other. during the games layla realizes that toma e. fiore went back on his word and in return, has Words with him with her husband and boyfriend watching. lucy takes photos. then, dragons come and well---it descalates from there and lucy works with the strauss siblings and DJ to help. when tatarus attacks, she is with the strauss siblings catching up and she aids in the crisis they present. she does a lot of releif work and ensuring the safety of others. her parents all give money to the destroyed home and her parents begin to quietly investigate makarov’s movements. brandish and grammi give them grave news about the alvarex empire.

fiore is given warning as alarez descends upon them. lucy finds herself fighting in hargeon with lamia scale with brandish by her side. ivan called in contacts of mages he used to know and it helps tip the battle in their favor. when acnologia descens upon them all, layla heartfilia’s heart almost gives out, but she along with levy mcgarden, work to make fairy sphere happen. acnologia is killed and layla, jude and ivan all hug each other.

DJ has never been happier.
lucy heartfilia grew up loved and happy. by the time she wrote her first fictional book, it is an lgbt romance between a demon and a princess. some may like to draw parallels to her life and the ones of the main protagonists, but the only character that was based off of lucy was an old hermit witch who never settled down.
