This Bychance discourse got old the second it started.
For Bychancers: If you sent death threats over it, that’s embarrassing and I hope you feel bad about it and learn to be better people. When I first got on Tumblr I thought crosstagging policers were annoying, but I started abiding by the rules and respecting them. If you choose to keep crosstagging into Byler because you have some righteous belief that “bychance IS an aspect of Byler and its plotline, themes & symbolism. And it’s inherently tethered to it”, that’s annoying and you need to get off your high horse. People have most likely already read what your theories entail and they don’t agree. Stay off the Byler tag or use *Byler, be respectful.
For Bylers: I fear this is unfortunately a great example of maybe what Milevens feel minus any homophobia they feel towards us. We don’t like how Bychance has invaded our space, we shouldn’t do the same to them. We can’t change their minds and we shouldn’t try to, just like the Bychancers are kind of doing now. Please don’t call them delusional, it’s not nice and we don’t like being called that either. They’re not crazy, they’re theorizers just like we are. We need to stay respectful and as people have said, block the tag if we feel so strongly.
My opinion: I don’t like Bychance at all. I understand some of you may think it’s a potential plot device and I enjoy that you have all looked deeply into the show just as we all have. Bychance unfortunately just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t think that’s something the writers should/will go for. I’ve been icked since the beginning because of the age gap and I understand the “parallels” you’ve drawn up, but a gay boy who doesn’t believe he’ll fall in love switching up from Mike to date a random who is too old for him is really gross to me. Having a shitty first boyfriend would just be too cruel. There was one artist in particular I will not name who used the caption “I heard Byers is dating a senior” and I immediately hated it. I know Chance’s age isn’t confirmed (on the wiki it says he was born 1967-68), but if he’s on the basketball team (if I remember correctly Lucas was the only freshman allowed on the team) and he’s as close to Jason as he seems to be, he’s probably the same age as Jason. No thank you. There’s plenty of reasons why I don’t like the pairing, I know Bychancers think it’s a plot device for Byler, but I think it’s super unnecessary.

you're safe here, promise
welcome to my blog! you can call me bambi, or you can call me melon!
this blog is a safe space for proship, radqueer, paraphile, and other folk! i have no true dni but i will block as i see fit - mostly if you're mean or i don't like your content.
before you follow:
like i said, this blog is a safe space for people! i post primarily about proship, transid, and propara stuff, but sometimes other stuff comes up! i am strictly anti-harassment - that means i don't believe in crosstagging or hate mail or anything, even against people i don't like.
i will never post discourse. i will never post or reblog scary real-world news - i have a main blog for a reason. you can follow that here! this blog is exclusively for feel-good posts and posts that might be affirming/comforting for "scary" people (like paraphiles and transharmfuls!)
that means that sometimes i might post content that's upsetting or potentially triggering - these posts will be tagged as both what they are (eg "#noncon") and an accompanying tw tag ( eg "#tw noncon"). please block these tags as necessary, and block me if you think this blog overall would be stressful for you!
more about me under the cut!
i am a chrono adult and would prefer if minors did not interact with my nsfw posts (for legal reasons!) tagged "#suggestive/nsfw". other posts are perfectly safe, though.
i'm autistic, and i like to ramble sometimes! mostly about the art i'm interacting with or about stuff my friends are doing!
i'm the host to a system! we might make a properly system blog at some point but for right now, my buddy xay has a blog he uses for stuff! soon he might even start posting regularly!
i won't post hate mail - anon or not - for the safety of my followers! everything posted to this blog is meant to serve as a safe space - that means no posts with inherent anger or bitterness. those go to the main blog!
in the same vein, i don't like getting into discourse or other heavy topics here on the blog. if you want my opinions about things like the proship/antiship discourse, the syscourse, or radqueer stuff, please go send those asks to my main! this space is solely for safe, civil discussions and for having a good time!
my tags
#melonmarkings tag for when i am rambling or saying something that doesn't belong to any specific community.
#askbox my inbox response tag! wanna see if i answered your ask? check here!
#repot a tag specifically for if i've updated/redone something. not currently in use, but i'm leaving it here anyway!

While I'm venting about the SN, I should finish this draft post that's been sitting in my draft box for a while now... so here is me venting about a couple more of the bullet points from that document.
(Here are my responses to some of the other bullet points laid out in the document. [1] [2] [3] [4])
Tumblr media
This is just objectively true. 😉
In all seriousness, this point is really bizarre.
Reminder that this is the context for the bullet points:
During November of last year, a moderator made a post on tumblr speaking to Ghost of the SophieinWonderland system. It was angry, it was charged, and it was bad. For context, during that month, Sophie had posted the following: [bullet point list of things I did in November] As well as more posts that I feel are unrelated at this time. The reason this is all detailed is to provide context (but not excuse) the behavior of the admin.
This along with the other bullet points is to provide context and help explain why the SN admin was in a mental state where they were intentionally trying to hurt me through fakeclaiming and malicious misgendering.
(You can find screenshots of the post the admin made here.)
So supposedly, part of the reason they were so "emotionally charged" was because I said God, who under the Trinity Doctrine where God is 3 people who are simultaneously 1 God, is plural.
I've talked before about internalized pluralphobia, and this absolutely reeks of it.
If calling the Trinity plural sends you into a rage spiral where you're fakeclaiming and misgendering systems, you need to seriously evaluate why you find the concept of God being plural so deeply offensive to you.
Tumblr media
This one severely needs context. (Here's the post that was about for even more context.)
This was about retaliatory crosstagging. Ever since I got to Tumblr, anti-endos have constantly invaded pro-endo tags. This has pretty much exclusively gone one-way, with nearly all pro-endos besides myself avoiding anti-endo tags. And general DID and OSDD tags get to be completely free of posts from endogenic systems most of the time aside from positivity posts.
And one thing you certainly NEVER see is endogenic systems going into a traumagenic tag and posting hate about traumagenic systems.
It felt at the time that there was an anti-endo hate post in the endogenic tags almost daily.
There's an inherent unfairness when a double standard exists that a hate group is allowed their own spaces while endogenic systems aren't allowed safe spaces to exist.
So what I decided around July of 2022 is that if an anti-endo crosstags into our tags, I would write-up a response and post the response in their tags. These response posts would be tagged as anti-endo to make them appear to their community. And I would be sure to @ the offending user and request the anti-endo community take it up with that user if they didn't want me to continue posting in their tags.
This was actually a more respectful stance change for me.
Before this, I would occasionally just make random pro-endo posts crosstagged to anti-endo tags that I thought might convince them to change. Especially those that showed scientific support of endogenic systems back when I was naive enough to think you could convince anti-endos with evidence.
What I did here was turn around and say "if you don't want me in your tags, I'll stay out of yours and leave your community alone as long as you do the same for ours. But if we can't have a safe space, then neither can you."
I stopped making random posts in anti-endo tags like I had done before, and switched to a more defensive tactic where I would solely crosstag as punishment for bad behavior.
The reality is that my "support of crosstagging" late last year was me trying to prevent crosstagging in pro-endo tags, while resolving to only crosstag into anti-endo spaces in retaliation when they crosstagged to ours.
And... I think it worked. I think there have been fewer anti-endos breaking into endogenic tags since I started doing that.
We still get occasional offenders, but I don't see it happening every day or two like it had been before.
Of course, I'll acknowledge that correlation doesn't equal causation so I can't be certain how much of this was because of me. But personally, I believe that if I hadn't taken that step, we would still be seeing the same level of constant crosstagging in pro endo tags that we did before.
One SN mod, the one who I believe wrote up that list and the rest of the document, believes this is wrong. They argued with me over my tactics last August, and believe it should simply be our responsibility to endure and ignore a barrage of fakeclaiming and hate sent to our tags from the other side, while all the other anti-endos plug their ears and rant about the evil endos "invading spaces" the next day, spinning a fiction of victimhood while they're ones entering our spaces to attack and harass us.
I believe, as I did then, that the end this tactic has achieved has justified its means, and helped secure safer spaces for endogenic and pro-endo systems.
(For full transparency, you can see my history of posting in the anti endo tag here. It looks like I only broke this rule once since August, when instead of calling out crosstagging, I called out anti-endos engaging in art theft from endogenic systems and passing it off as "reclaiming".)

i don't think the show is mocking the comics, and i also don't think the writers are malicious, and i don't think the people who are cross-tagging are malicious either— a lot of us are just really frustrated that the tv show is using names/titles from the comics without realizing what made those names/titles special to the comics. the issue with the comics isn't the main reason i dislike and am uncomfortable with the show, though. but the biggest reason i see that people are upset about the show using names/titles from the comics is because it hasn't been allowing them to be separate things—
the plot of the show and loki's character arc in the mcu is drastically different from the comics, so it feels really strange to a lot of people when they start hinting at things like loki becoming the god of stories, or verity willis being there, when this fresh out of 2012 loki hasn't had the same years-long emotional build-up to the ego death, and verity and loki don't really have any scenes together
which means, when people do start crosstagging, the tags then become filled mostly with a show that has a completely separate plot from agent of asgard, a ship that isn't amora x loki but still called enchantricks, a character implied to be the god of stories but doesn't have a similar character arc, etc
i, and a lot of people i know, are mostly just upset that there isn't a solely comic book space on the public internet anymore. i use countless blockable tags for venting about the show and i've still gotten insults in comments and in my inbox, telling me that i clearly don't read the comics or that i know nothing about the character, that i should shut up, that i'm stupid, etc for not being comfortable with the show's contents and feeling that it's offensive
/nm /info
Me who adores both the MCU/The Loki show and has read and loved all the Loki comics watching all the infighting going down 🧍🏻‍♂️
Please tell me I'm not alone. A lot of comics fans are shitting on the show and saying it's mocking the comics and stuff. I genuinely don't understand that (could be the autism, though). They're different universes and different versions of the characters. Of course it's going to be different. The MCU has NEVER been an exact recreation of the comics. Certain things, yeah, but never completely. I have read and own all except for the newest comics. This includes the Ragnarok storyline, Journey into Mystery (the original and the Kid Loki run), Young Avengers, and Agent of Asgard, along with the other necessary reading in between. I read all this a few years back and absolutely loved it all. It's not like I'm not aware of all the things in the comics. It's not that I'm stupid and know nothing. I know the comics and, for me, it actually enhances things. I just think it's neat that they're putting their own unique spin on things in the comics (the TVA itself was in the comics and I've read part of that run as well. Yes, it was very similar to how it is in the show). I find it fun, honestly. I don't understand the twisting to make it seem like the writers are doing this for evil purposes or to erase the comics from existence. I'm sure some people have watched breakdown videos for the episodes and decided to read the referenced comics afterwards. The exact opposite of what's being claimed. Yes, the tags are in chaos and could use some differentiation. I fully agree. Both sides of the fandom need their own space. But I don't think the majority have malicious intent. Yes, there's some shit heads, but there's shit heads in every fandom space that just want to cause problems and piss people off. Honestly, the Loki fandom, especially the Lokius side, have been some of the chillest people I've ever interacted with in fandom spaces.
This stupidly long vent is just to express that all the negativity has really bogged me down and upset me. Even having the tags for negativity towards the show blocked hasn't really helped me much. I know it's still there and it makes me anxious and upset. I know, I know. Touch grass. Blah blah blah. Listen. My personal life is a complete shit show right now. Loki season 2 has been one of my few comforts. Let me be upset that people are insulting something that makes me happy, alright?
(note: this isn't saying people don't have a right to their opinion and that everyone has to like what I like. I'm just stressed about the negativity is all. Also, if any of the tags used on this post aren't correct, please let me know and I'll remove them. I don't want to cause any problems with my venting)

People be hating on Lila but turn around and praise five and klaus saying their precious baby angels even tho Lila is literally a female version of them both like five is praised for murdering people but as soon as it’s Lila all of a sudden the fandom turns into a damn cop
In my opinion the same can be said about any character and any fan. Some fans are toxic and will defend a character no matter what and that happens with fans of Klaus or Five but can also happen with L*la too. All fandoms have toxic fans and they aren’t all fans of just one character all characters have at least a few toxic fans. But you are right that fans need to stop being hypocritical in hating on characters because we need to criticise all characters over their bad actions not just one.
I love Five and Klaus a lot but also don’t agree with everything they say or do and won’t praise them for it. Five is very protective of his family and is trying to save them but also talks down to them and can be harsh and Klaus is very emotional and supportive of his family and great at finding out solutions when focused but I also see that he can be insensitive, rude and thoughtless at times. I like them but will criticise the things I don’t agree with and with L*la I originally liked her but as time went on I started to dislike her and criticise her but I’d still admit when she said something funny or was helpful (like when she helped in fights or joins forces with them) but I also know that some people who hate her will hate for reasons that don’t make sense. If a character I like did something I didn’t agree with and L*la also did the same thing I’d criticise them all for it not just her.
I personally think that if you don’t like a character because that character just isn’t for you (you’re not interested in them) that’s valid and if you hate the character for reasons such as them being bad or doing something you’re not comfortable with or you don’t agree with that’s valid too. We all just need to remember to keep our hate posts in the anti tags but fans should be able to dislike them as long as they’re polite and try not to cause drama like going into anti posts to fight or if someone crosstags on purpose.

[2025/04/04]
Not expecting this latest shit to collapse the floorboards under us more than any of the prior disasters have, but since we have to be lucky every time...
My bluesky, if anyone wants it.
Not expected to become active there until Tumblr collapses, but I've got the name reserved all the same.
[2024/11/28]
With fear of HR9495 passing and being signed into law, you might be panicking about how to download hundreds or thousands of fic from AO3 ‘just in case’.
If that’s a concern, or if you want to know how to download fic from a bunch of other sites (FF.net, Spacebattles, AlternateHistory.com, and more) I wrote up a brief guide [tumblr post] on what tools are out there.
[2024/11/6]
What’s my expertise worth? Whatever you want it to be worth.
Anyways, my immediate thoughts of ‘what you can do’ [tumblr post], if wanting any direction or wanting to see what randos on your dash are recommending you do.
In short: learn opsec/infosec, make sure you know how to garden or fix things, and start thinking now of what you want (or need) to back up off the web.
I don’t know where to begin giving you tips on how to get out of the country fast, but: whether you can or can’t get out of America, you might want (or need) to learn some of this shit to make it through whatever the fuck is coming.

[Tags and Tag-Related Content]
list/explanation of my tags (...missing ~3yrs of tags and needing to be updated lol)
ao3 profile
bluesky profile (inert until this own site collapses, but if you want to follow me in advance of that...)
(Otherwise, feel free to shoot me an Ask if you’re curious about what a tag means or if the wording is original/pulled from somewhere! Always down to explain in more detail!)
New Subject/Content Tags
Apparently I didn’t have a proper ‘matters of ongoing censorship’ tag. I do now: where they have burned books (they will end in burning human beings)
For if certain Supreme Court rulings occur For how to survive Roe. v Wade being overturned: abortion resources + reproductive choice resources + bodily autonomy resources (crosstagged in case any of these words ends up on Tumblr’s ‘blocked tag’ list for, you know, “purely coincidental” reasons)
for protesting tips, keeping one’s communication secure, practicing triple redundancy on info-storage (but not too private info on stuff like GDoc), and similar ways of covertly surviving a Big Data world: opsec matters
for information/web-usage sanitation (like VPNs), and for general knowledge-resources for communicating: tips and tricks and warnings (communications and infosec)
the human urge to glorify and worship stimulants: to vibrate like a tuning fork and see the shadow people
stitching, mending, and patchwork: a stitch in time saves nine
for talking (semi-)hard SF, from space SF to military SF: grognards talking tinkertech
Outdated ‘Current Events’ Tags
twitter implosion speedrun and the tailspin of reddit, devoted to the respective social media sites blowing up live (hopefully not in prophecy for tumblr itself...)
pride month, wrath month, and a particular recognition of the fight on all fronts as of mid-2023: it takes a certain type of wrath (to laurel oneself in pride against the fangs that aim to strike us down)
USA Abortion ban threat Roe. v Wade actively being overturned: the assault on roe v. wade (and what might come after)
Tumblr Blaze: tumblr has enabled PvP mode
about everyone walking off their jobs, and the impacts that are becoming known: the old normal is gone & the new normal is not yet certain (now is the time of taking your chances elsewhere)
CW possibly being sold: brought to you by the CW (for how much longer?)

I'm inclined to agree with all of these points, I'd say. To put it REALLY simply: "omegaverse" on its own, refers to the fictional trope, found in works of fiction. "omegaverse lifestyle(r)" is a term that's becoming outdated and was confusing from the start, but this is what a lot of people, including myself, who found themselves identifying with the omegaverse dynamics on a personal identity-basis were calling themselves for a while BEFORE we had a proper term for the real-life identity. Then came "Misce" (also variations, such as "misceanimalis", "miscelife", etc) is the current term for real-life people who strongly identify with dynamics from the omegaverse trope, I.E. Alpha, Beta, Omega (and others, if you include subdynamics like Gamma, Zeta, Sigma, etc.).
I still personally use "omegaverse lifestyle" at times, though I'm in the process of switching to only using "misce-" terms specifically because of how confusing it can get. "Lifestyle" gets the point across well enough, but even to me it sounds more like... like I'm "emulating" or "mimicking" being an omega for fun, or for k!nk reasons- when that isn't the case- I genuinely do fully identify as an omega, it's a part of my identity the same way me identifying as (trans)masculine is. I'm not emulating it because I think the trope is fun, I'm not "playing pretend" as though I was an omega in an omegaverse setting- I genuinely just AM an omega. Discovering misce a while ago felt like a puzzle piece clicking into the right place the same way coming to terms with my own gender identity did, just in a slightly different manner. It's like, oh wow, there is a word for what I've felt like for a long time!
Anyway, long story short;
misce- and adjacent terms = lifestyle/Identity for real people
omegaverse = fictional trope in fictional works and headcanons
At least this is how I personally understand it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Misuse often happens when omegaverse (a.k.a. FICTION-related blogs based around the headcanon/fiction trope) see misce folks crosstagging misce tags with omegaverse; this is done because often misce folks have their own personal headcanons of what the "misceverse" could look like if it were an everyday every person thing, based on their own personal experiences with their identities. These headcanons often also fit fictional narratives of omegaverse, and I'd imagine most misce folks would just be happy to see someone who writes omegaverse incorporate their personal misce headcanons into their fictional worlds. However, a problem arises when posts that are purely about fiction and fiction ONLY get cross-tagged as "misce" because: 1. The blogger/OP doesn't know what misce means but has seen it in the omegaverse-related tags and assumes it just means the same thing, 2. The blogger/OP has misunderstood the usage and meaning of misce, or 3. The blogger/OP is tagging every single tag they can think of to try to get more exposure for their post regardless of whether the tags are actually relevant or not. Posts about the FICTIONAL "omegaverse" trope being tagged as Misce is an issue, because Misce is NOT fictional, but rather, a community based around a real identity.
How does one know if they’re misusing misce or not? I am very curious because I don’t want to do so on accident! I am not sure if I am misce or not because I didn’t know about it until like, two months ago, but I’ve been very interested since while also interested in omegaverse separately too. Any like bullet points that describe ways people could be misusing it or improperly using it to describe omegaverse?
Thankies
I'll answer this one through my miscecanis blog, @miscealignment.
I'm trying to separate things a bit. So keep an eye on the replies for the answer.

New Ownership! Kidhearts Future
Tumblr media
Hello everyone! My name is Rissy and I’m the new owner. You can find me at @cottage-fairy if you need anything at all. I want to talk a little bit about my plans for Kidhearts and why. It will be quite lengthy, so it’s ok if you need to come back to this later!
First off, no one will have to change their dni or leave if they do not want to. However, if you feel uncomfy with our new policies, you may feel free to leave. No need to tell us or explain your reasonings. :)
Tumblr media
Make-your-own-DNI
Kidhearts will be picking back up a make your own DNI policy! This means that as long as you follow our base DNI, you are free to have your own DNI with whatever you want on it. Because of this, we will have a very strict banner policy. Please make sure you read banners. Anyone who cannot follow banners will be banned from Kidhearts.
Our Base DNI
No kink or nsfw
No cg//l, dd//lg, md//lb, ab//dl, etc.
No maps, nomaps, or related
No gore
No hate
Nothing you wouldn’t show a young child (drugs, weapons, politics, etc.)
Yes, this means those who identify as cglre, nsre, csre, agedre, etc may now join kidhearts! However, this doesn’t mean you have to allow them if you already were a member. If you are still uncomfy with such interaction, you may have them on your DNI. Maybe you’re fine with nsre and agedre, but not the others. Maybe you just don’t want a specific community because of past experiences. Whatever you need to do to feel safe is fine. If your DNI is broken, please message us. There will be no tolerance for those who don’t respect your DNI, I assure you.
Currently, chire does not allow interaction with cglre. If you are a chire member, you are more than welcome here, but we understand that you may feel more safe switching to only chire. This is our open invitation to chire and chire-like communities to co-exist peacefully, but it is up to them if they want to accept or not. It is totally acceptable and understandable if you don’t want to open that door at this time. Just know you are all welcome here at any time!
Discipline Policy
We follow a standard process for discipline/blocklisting. That way, no one will feel they are treated unfairly. If someone has spoken rudely, broken a DNI, or acted otherwise in a way that is unfitting of our values, we will follow the same process.
First- we gather information from all individuals involved so that no one’s side of the story gets overlooked. We collect screenshots where applicable.
Second- We ask the offending party/parties to apologize and correct their behavior. This might include removing a post or providing clarification.
Third- If the individual(s) fail to comply with our policy, only then will they be blocklisted and banned. *Please note that we understand the delicate nature of our members’ mental health. If someone reacts in a seemingly hostile manner at first, they will be given an opportunity to calm down and reply at a later time either that day or the next. **Please also note that there are some offenses that will not be taken lightly, and may result in immediate banning. These include: crosstagging with kink, threats of harm or suicide baiting, repeatedly harassing members.
Tags
Our tags will remain the same as they have always been! Feel free to continue using them! Crosstagging is only allowed between communities we allowed, and noncom safe agere terms. Do not crosstag with kink terms, or you will be banned. The community blogs will only use kidheart specific tags and general agere tags for the comfort of members who don’t want specific community interactions.
Mods
I’d love some more mods to help out! Send in a message if you’d like to volunteer. The more people we have the better! Especially in order to monitor tags as closely as I’d like. Safety and comfort are our main priority.
Joining
We will not be requiring an application at this time. If DNI breaking becomes a problem, we will start requiring applications. For now, just follow the DNI and use the tags and you’re a member!
Discord
There will be a new Kidhearts discord! It will also follow the same rules and DNI. Stay tuned for the link!
That's all for now! Feel free to message me here or on my main if you need anything at all. I love you all bunches! 💖🌼

I wanted to write this to be very clear about the Skam Italia situation. And yes, I’m going to crosstag this post so everyone can see this and hopefully understand where we’re coming from. Not necessarily accepting it, but at least understanding it. This post is probably going to turn out pretty long, but I hope you’ll stick around until the end.
I’m going to start by saying that I do agree with what most of you are saying. I agree on the fact that Sana should have been played by a non-white actress, because what they did is in fact whitewashing. What I don’t agree on is the part about the actress not being muslim, because religion is not something you can see on someone’s face. There are many non-christians that have played christian characters, there are many non-jews that have played jewish characters and so on. So I don’t feel it should me mandatory for characters and actors to have the same religion, just as much as it shouldn’t for what concerns sexuality. That being said, I’m not trying to make up an excuse for choosing a non-POC actress to play a half arabic person, because like I said before I don’t think that was a right move. But what I do want to say is that that happened because of ignorance and not because the people working in the show are racists. They just didn’t think it was going to be a problem, they thought it was somehow normal. They’re definitely not racists because they wouldn’t be fighting this hard right now to have the show back if they didn’t care about the muslim character. Now, they know they made a mistake and Bessegato apologized for it and he said that the next time they’re going to do better. Because now the damage is done and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. But if there’s no turning back it doesn’t mean you should just give up and don’t care about what the character in itself means. Sana is a half-Tunisian teenager living in Italy, a country that has many racism problems. And most of these problems that the country has come from ignorance. So, showing on a tv show a whole 10 episodes about a muslim girl in Italy, struggling with racism and discrimination would be so important for a country like ours. For a country that is this close to bringing the Mussolini period back to life (yes, the situation is this serious). It is important to show it because it’s the only way for people to understand that there’s nothing wrong about muslims, that they’re just people like all of us and they’re not here to steal our jobs or to take the power and make Italy a muslim country or something (yes pt.2, these are real arguments that people in Italy use). And it will hopefully make people understand that they don’t need to trust anything that comes out of the mouths of those motherf****s that we have in our government. So all of you that are happy that our show has been cancelled should really start to understand how important it would be for us to have this kind of representation.
So for me, to see all of you cheering because SkamIt has been cancelled, it really hurt me and it’s frustrating to see people hoping that the show isn’t picked up for another season. Because over here we’re fighting so hard for it to be renewed because we want to prove a point to many people, we want to share the love, you know.
I saw many people on tumblr and twitter who keep on talking about how much they hate SkamIt, how much they hate the cast, how much they hate the actress that they chose for Sana, how much they hate this, how much they hate that. And they don’t talk about anything else, literally. They just rant about how much they hate everything that concerns Skam Italia. They have so much hate inside of them for the wrong reasons, because if you only tried to understand us, even just a little, then maybe you would be able to live a life without that much hatred in it and we would all just live better and we would all be happier.
Hope you understand now and remember, share the love.

serious talk but i’m honestly stumped as to why jcs are the ones sending hate. i’m not saying anyone should send or receive hate but in every other fandom i’ve been in the ‘problematic’ shippers are generally chill and stay in their lanes, while being the ones getting sent hate. i’m not saying jcs never get hate but i’ve never seen taboo shippers be the ones doing the harassing before.
*shrug*
I had an anon addressing that at length in june so if you want that entire discussion it’s here https://janiedean.tumblr.com/post/185642667908/hello-im-sorry-for-disturbing-you-but-im-quite
that said I’ve been considering it for years bc honest I never was in the situation where I argued with **problematic shippers and like you can ask anyone in the theon corner who’s also in th/ramsay fandom that I’ve defended them countless times regardless of the OMG YOU’RE SICK people coming from (sadly) my side because they got trashed to hell and back, and like… I have it on record that even if I’m not into badwrong stuff I will defend people who ship it bc everyone should ship what they want. and everywhere even within this fandom **problematic shippers usually stay in their lane - I mean ffs I don’t think I’ve ever ran into anyone shipping idk th/ramsay or sansa/lf or whichever other badwrong ship being like that. and jcs get way less hate than any of them and half of that is jb people telling them to can it after they crosstag hate on purpose and then pearl clutch that ohmygod we’re so hateful, but if you want my two cents, under the cut bc it’s long and is2g if someone shows up telling me this is me accusing jc shippers as a whole of whatever I’m blocking on sight:
that part of jc fandom has done that since I remember being in this fandom, and with that part I mean that there’s a bunch of jc people who either multiship or are like sane people who aren’t partaking in fandom or left bc they didn’t want to be associated with that attitude
that part of jc fandom has spun a narrative since 2011 that if you didn’t like c. or thought j. was a better person than she was (or tyrion too) you were a closeted misogynist and like… a lot of those people were bnfs back in the day so basically criticizing c. and/or saying that jaime isn’t a bad person now automatically means that you’re problematic/a misogynist/hate women and no one countered it bc apparently saying that grrm is not necessarily misogynist for writing c. as a villain is a controversial opinion which means that if they coat their analysis in performative feminism they have the upper hand *shrug*
in this context c. being the abuser/bad person is downplayed/turned over on its head and no one recognizes that jc is indeed an abusive rship where j. is the abused/wronged part and you can see that because 90% of the meta published in this fandom villainizes j. in nonsensical ways just so it’s an argument that he’s as bad as c. if not worse and jc is seen as codependent toxic but not as abusive with power imbalance which means that it’s not seen as necessarily *problematic* or badwrong which means they don’t get the shit that everyone else shipping badwrong gets which… good for them bc no one should get shit for shipping what they want but basically they never were on the side of receiving anon hate all day long and they actually were on the side of sending it all day long
and like sorry but that’s factual, some people in that side of fandom were making burned ground around jb before S2 and the moment jb became popular they were on us/the ship like woah because obviously if people shipped jb they should buy the narrative where j. is redeemable/not a terrible person, and the moment people buy that narrative then theirs is automatically put in question, and so they started painting us as the problematic straight women who are homophobic bc they don’t think brienne is lgbt and want her with j. bc we want to fuck him and we’re projecting, which at the same time makes us sound like we’re making shit up and have no textual analysis to base stuff on when in fact we do, but again in this climate where saying c. is terrible = you’re a misogynist you’re automatically discredited the moment you say that and that j. isn’t as horrible as she is
also, since the people enabling that shit in jc fandom were bnfs (like there’s… one bnf in jc fandom who’s an a+ person and didn’t engage in shitting over us at least but everyone else enabling it was a bnf) it meant that the ‘let’s shit on jb shippers’ behavior was always condoned/let slide, so basically if anyone wanted to get popularity points being asses to us was the best way to go at it, and that’s why 90% of what’s remained of them rn is more interested in sending anon hate to jb shippers than producing content, and every single time it’s turning things over on their head making it sound as if we started it or anything of the kind. too bad that I’ve been here since before jb was a show thing and I can 100% remember the times people asked me privately questions aimed into guilttripping me from having jb as a sideship in t/hrobb fic and I was terrified of what would happen when I put it as a sideship in sfbd which is btw one of the reasons I dropped it for a year the first time round *shrug* (yeah it’s been long enough that I think I can say that *shrug*)
basically: I think that those specific jc shippers have…. issues in the sense that they’re caught in some very unhealthy internet presence thing in which they’ve been doing this thing since like 2013 if not earlier and now they can’t stop and the new ones who fall in that crowd follow suit and no one ever told them to can it or that it wasn’t okay or whatever, and now it’s too late to do anything except waiting for grrm to publish wow, have c. die somewhere j. is not and have the entire ‘they’ll die together’ discourse die and maybe they’ll stop. but like… again: i made the blog private for three months, I put it back to public, before I could even make the post saying it like three minutes after I went public again I got a jc anon. within the first week I had twenty. and they showed up the moment I put it back to public. just that is a level of unhealthy that should be enough to state whoever’s doing this needs help like very much because it’s like basically stalking, but hey, it’s all my fault because I said jc is an abusive rship and he’s not the abuser. *shrug* like: at this point I’m legit worried for them because this isn’t healthy and I really hope they get help because there’s no reason why they should come at me like that when I’m in my lane all the damned time except for the single occasions pointed out in the first linked post. the only explanation is that they can’t handle the fact that I’m existing and expressing an opinion they disagree with when I don’t even know them so if it’s the problem………. I really hope they get a grip. because it’s not healthy. period.

butchspit mentioned you in a post
@kinarchist I need you to explain to me why there’s a #actuallyotherkin tag. I need you to explain to me why otherkin are equating being teased to being oppressed by non-otherkin. Also, I’m BEGGING YOU to pick up a urban dictionary. This was pretty snarky.
Against my better judgement I’m replying to this thread one more time, because I think you severely misunderstand how otherkin are treated, actually. Otherkin are not just teased. Teasing is the most reductive way you could possibly frame that, and shows me you honestly have no idea what it’s like from the inside. Putting this under a cut with content warnings for: verbal abuse, physical abuse, suicide baiting, ableist slurs, dead animal/gore mention, threatened forced hospitalization, transphobia/medical gatekeeping,
The #actuallyotherkin tag is before my time, technically, and I have absolutely zero affiliation with it. It’s not even where the main community tag is and if you’d look you’d see the posts are all spread like 2 months apart minimum. It’s a tag people probably just use now for visibility, not knowing that no one is really looking there. But you know what my guess is as to why it exists? For the same reason #buttereggs, and #oddnose and every other “secret, no-crosstagging” otherkin tag existed a few years back -- there was so much verbal abuse and harassment being directed at our communities and individuals within them from so many angles, the #otherkin tag was literally just full of hate. Full of people telling us how mentally insane we are, how we all belong locked in insane asylums, how we deserve to be shot or physically abused like animals because we ‘think’ we’re animals, how we should kill ourselves, how we’re [insert more slurs], and the best of all are the people who swear they’d beat and physically abuse their own children if they turned out to be otherkin,  -- OH! and dont forget the gore spam where my co-host has seen wonderful things like gifs of dead dogs being thrown out the window. :D And that’s just some of the worst of it. Of course we get your garden-variety name-calling, but you need to understand how far it goes. In addition, people are afraid of being outed as otherkin at work/school/home (yes these conversations happen and people are outed at work, especially when they’re doxxed by Kiw/i/farms and this has happened), I personally know someone who was physically beaten with newspapers and sprayed with water as abuse from their ex-parents because they were outed as a wolf therian. And I know just recently someone who was denied HRT for being famously and openly trans and otherkin. This is not just “teasing” and that tag was probably meant to get away from it. And I’m not saying otherkinity is inherently a mental illness, nor am I necessarily saying otherkin are systemically oppressed, but discriminated against? Absolutely. We’re targeted heavily by ableism, among other forces, even if we’re not mentally ill. I think you can forfeit a tag prefix started several years ago for a dead tag where people probably ran to get away from endless harassment and abuse.

Another day, another anti-endo crosstagging hate and misinformation into pro-endo tags
Okay, let's go. To start off with, I do not normally like posting endogenic content in DID and OSDD tags, but at this point, I feel it's necessary. @constellation-archives was politely asked by @ecosystim to remove the pro-endo tags from their post. This was their response:
Tumblr media
By this same logic, it would be irresponsible to allow their misinformation to go uncorrected in the tags they shared it in. So I will be posting my rebuttal in every tag Constellation-Archives tagged in their original post. If you do not like seeing this type of content in the DID and OSDD tags, please request that @constellation-archives cease crosstagging with pro endo tags. Thank you. 😁
Now, onto their post.
Tumblr media
First, if we're going to have a conversation about endogenic systems, we need to actually define what a "system" is. With the broadest definition, a "system" consists of all of biological human's personalities and subpersonalities, as seen in internal family systems.
The way system is being used here is in reference to something more specific, which we'll call a "plural" or "multiple" systems. Or, what a psychologist might describe as "system of dissociated parts." All of these are functionally the same thing, whether a system's members identify as parts, people, alters or headmates.
As a general rule, each headmate in a plural system must be both autonomous (able to act outside the host's control) and self-conscious (having a sense of self and identity.) That seems like a pretty straight-forward definition that we should be able to agree on.
Tumblr media
Now, there are a few things to know about the theory of structural dissociation.
It's a theory. It's not confirmed, and psychology is riddled with theories that were later disproven. See most of what was written by Freud. While it contains some truth, it should not be blindly taken as fact. One of the claims made by this theory, as I understand, is that systems with OSDD will only have one ANP (a non-trauma-holder.) This contradicts the experiences of many OSDD systems.
The data that it's based on isn't substantial. There is a lot of research into DID, but next to none into OSDD. There is a growing body of research into endogenic systems but most of it happened AFTER The Haunted Self was written. It's likely that ongoing research will challenge various aspects of this theory in coming years, with the science of multiplicity quickly evolving.
Most importantly though, the authors of the theory of structural dissociation do not endorse the claims constellation-archives is trying to tell you they do.
Tumblr media
The above is a paper where they acknowledge that spirits communicated with by mediums and states created in hypnotized subjects may be experiences of self-conscious dissociated parts of the personality. This would, by the previous definitions of systemhood, be an endogenic plural/multiple system.
Endogenic systems are directly acknowledged as possibe by the creators of the theory of structural dissociation.
Tumblr media
I feel like 1 and 3 could have been combined into a single point. Regardless, this claim doesn't make much sense. Most endogenic systems are not claiming to have DID or OSDD. Importantly, while someone can cause themselves to gain symptoms of a disorder psychologically, they still have those symptoms. If someone thinks they have an illness that gives them a rash, the rash is real, even if the illness isn't.
One might convince themselves they have Tourette's and experience tics. In this case, whether the Tourette's is real or not, the Tics are.
If multiplicity is a symptom that's generated due to psychological reasons, the multiplicity is still real. It's not fake multiplicity.
Regarding number 2, a growing number of psychologists are recognizing that voices experienced in psychotic disorders are also dissociated parts of systems, that are autonomous and conscious enough to respond to psychotherapy. And these dissociated agents are not always caused by trauma.
Based on recent research, some DID specialists have made the case that voice hearers with Schizophrenia are experiencing a dissociative subtype of the disorder, and that the acknowledgment of the dissociative symptoms is integral to successful treatment.
After this, they then go on to try to convince people that endogenic systems are dangerous and that our existences are harmful. I'm not going to address these claims as they aren't scientific and have nothing to back them up besides anecdotes. There are harmful individuals in any group, and their claims of demonizing persecutors or pushing system hopping have also been done by traumagenic systems, as is the belief in alter death. (In fact, it being called "alter death" should be a tip off that it's not an endogenic thing, given that many endogenic systems don't like the term "alter." And you don't see people calling it a "headmate" death.)
Again, I don't want to be posting syscourse stuff in the traumagenic and OSDD/DID tags. But unfortunately, many members of the anti-endo hate movement have decided that endogenic systems cannot have safe spaces to exist, and they invade our tags with lies, hate and misinformation, not caring how many people they hurt in the process.
I see no other alternative than to crosstag my rebuttal to the same exact tags in an effort to correct their misinformation. If you don't want my responses to these posts in these tags anymore, please ask @constellation-archives to not post their misinformation in the endogenic and plural tags anymore. If they remove the pro endo tags from the original post, I'll remove the DID and traumagenic tags from this one. Until then, this rebuttal will use the same exact tags as they used so that the people who saw their misinformation can read this, with links to actual academic sources.

Time for a moment of self-reflecting and apologies?
Alrighty, folks. Long story short, I’ve been checking out a block list within one of the regression communities, and I’ve also been learning what makes communities different.
Let me say first that I am not in or associated with any community. I do not have a DNI, on here or on my main blog, and anybody can purchase from me. I have also read that businesses fall outside of most DNIs, so if you would like to purchase from me, I’m pretty sure you’re allowed to. (Not positive though, so ask your mods if you’re unsure! Of course, do whatever makes you comfortable!)
All of that being said, I will admit that I’ve been pretty ignorant about communities and what different terms have come to mean because it was never like this when I first joined years ago. I decided to stay away from them, and thus, did not educate myself. I was even upset and hurt by DNI banners because I did not understand fully. I thought it was just silly terms and petty drama, like, “You say to-may-to; I say to-mah-to; we can’t be friends.” I thought that all words and terms were two sides of the same coin, two words that meant the same thing, etc.
Man, I am rambling a lot before the actual point!
Getting down to it, I’ve crosstagged in a lot of my posts. I’ve even tagged #crosstagging, and I will tell you why. I simply wanted to get the word out there to as many people as I could who like pacis. I started this blog to help people, and I know that people would like a low-cost pacifier from all kinds of communities and for all kinds of reasons. I tagged crosstagging because I thought that meant something like, “Hey, just showing that I am purposefully crosstagging, not trying to hurt anyone, not in any of these communities, just trying to include everybody.” I had good intentions.
Because I hadn’t taken the time to educate myself on terms, communities, etc (I’m still not completely knowledgeable or aware of them all), I didn’t realize that this was bad. I figured it was okay because I myself was not posting any NSFW material.
I’m starting to understand why I was wrong, and I wanted to say that I am sorry. I did not mean to make anybody feel unsafe or uncomfortable in any way. I also was not trying to ignore other people’s comfort to selfishly promote my business! I swear, I just wanted to help people get a paci, no matter what community they’re in. I still feel this way.
I wanted to take the time to post this, explaining myself and apologizing, but unfortunately, most of the people who I potentially hurt have probably blocked me due to my ignorant mistake. This means they’ll never see this post. Still, I feel that this is important to publicly apologize.
I plan to go back through my posts and delete any community tags and terms, and I will not use these tags in the future. I will most likely stay away from tagging all together, other than tags that organize my blog, until I have a better understanding of the concept.
I’m not sure if I’m on any block lists, or if the “businesses don’t count” rule applies on some blogs. Either way, I hope that moving forward, I can prevent myself from being added to any other DNIs due to cross tagging and prevent anyone from getting hurt because of me.
Bottom line, I love all you paci-lovers, no matter what you call yourself or who you interact with! I hope to learn more about what it means to truly respect this. I want everyone to feel safe coming to my blog, and I want the experience of getting your own paci with me to be positive and comfortable for all! If I do anything that potentially goes against this, kindly tell me please!
Thank you for reading <3

I seriously don't understand what was "rude" or "threatening" about the email from ao3... I got one of those a few days ago, it's just a standard "hey you applied the wrong tag and we ask that you change it" message?? can you show us what was threatening in the message the author you mention got??
It was a second email in reply to the appeal the author made, not the initial notice of mistagging. Also, the email had to do specifically with RPF, which had been crosstagged into the Hannibal (TV) tag.
The line that kind of freaked us out was, “If you do not wish to change the tag, I will be happy to do so for you.” It was tonal. Other parts of the email felt condescending. “This isn’t a TOS violation, but tagging it back would be.” We worried about it leading to other rare pairs facing the same tagging issues. It made us nervous.
“I will be happy to do so for you,” does not sound…nice.
Now that there’s, y'know, actual conversation taking place, it sounds more innocuous than it did before. I’m not sure why it wasn’t just, “The tag is used incorrectly, so you need to change it.” Why throw in the other half?
The only reason I even mentioned it is because that’s what started the whole thing rolling: feeling like our fics were in danger. I now doubt that was the person’s intent, but we can’t edit reblogs, so. Here we are. Tension was high, and we likely read more into it than we should have, but I don't regret that it's led us here, to trying to figure out where the fics actually belong.
Discourse is hell. I’m sure this ask will secure my place on fandom fail. But yeah, the initial email was fine, and the way the response to the appeal was worded unnerved the author, and unsettled us, and it wasn’t because we were being asked to follow the rules. Which I had thought we were following, because rare pairs are murky waters. I know better now.

Unpopular Opinion Time
I know a lot of BNHA fans are...“Unhappy” with the fact that the latest chapter/arc concluding with Endeavour implied to be on his way to a character redemption arc (or at the very least on his way to being a less shitty person than usual). I know a lot of you feel very strongly about this, for very legitimate and understandable reasons, and are concerned about what is will mean for Todoroki and the story in general.
All I ask is that you not be assholes to any of the fans who ARE happy about it (Esp. the Endeavour fans who have probably been waiting for this since the dude first showed up in the Sports Festival Arc). You don’t have to like the fact that Horikoshi is deciding to go this direction with his character, but don’t be “that person”.
Same to the fans who are excited about a potentially Redeemed!Endeavour - if someone’s complaining about not being happy or not wanting to accept the fact that Endeavour is getting character development, don’t be jerks to them. You hate it when other fans harass you about him, so don’t go doing the same by stooping to their level.
If you just feel like sticking to the people who feel the same about it as you and want to just talk with them - that’s fine. If you choose to engage with fans who don’t feel the same as you on the subject, try to be polite and respectful to each other. And people can’t stay in their lane or crosstag or start throwing hate and don’t want to do the above, block them, because they clearly don’t want to be better fans than their acting like.
