#when Jinx asked

I think little Powder created a rule for herself to not talk about Vander after she was taken in by Silco. She listens when he talks about him, she answers questions when asked directly but she never shares her thoughts. It probably started out of fear of fucking everything up and loosing Silco too, but after some time it just became a habit. 

But Felicia? Jinx didn't know Silco knew her, she didn't know she was the reason Silco became… Silco, so she just mentions her from time to time. 

The first time she did, Silco was teaching her about explosives (because that's what he had learnt they could bond over, even if he knew that Jinx's abilities would soon exceed his). He was working on one of Jinx's bombs, trying to help her figure out why it wasn't working when he just mentioned he used to deal with dynamite on the mines when he was Jinx's age.

There was a moment of silence. She wondered if that was how Silco and Vander had met, but she couldn't ask, so she tried to get that thought out of her head and said the next thing that came to her mind.

“My mum was a miner too.”

Silco froze for a second. Then continued to work in silence for a few minutes.

“There,” he said, handing the bomb to Jinx, “go test it out.”

Jinx smiled, excited, taking the bomb and Silco's sleeve to guide him outside the office, lightening the mood without even realizing it. 

They never really talked about Felicia. The same way they never really talked about Vander. One spoke, the other listened. No comments, no opinions, just letting the other one express their thoughts and feel listened to.

There was only one time Silco broke that unspoken rule: the last time they talked about her.

He had a meeting with a new investor in shimmer. An old contact, Silco had explained. After hours of negotiations, they had finally gotten to an agreement. The man looked around the room while Silco was pouring them a glass to close the deal. He shared a look with Jinx, who had been drawing on the coffee table the whole time. 

“Isn't that…” he began to ask, turning to face Silco, acting as if the kid couldn't hear him. “That's… Felicia's daughter, isn't it?”

Silco and Jinx looked at each other from across the room, both looking for the correct answer to the question in the other's reaction. People had asked before if she was one of Vander's kids and the answer had always been a simple and dry “no” from Silco that made them know not to ask again, but no one had ever recognized her because of her mother.

Silco seemed to keep his cool, thought, and quickly recomposed himself and looked away so Jinx did the same and continued drawing, pretending not to listen. Whatever he had decided was the correct answer was okey with her, she trusted him, trusted his calmness.

Silco handed the man the glass.

“She is, yes.” His tone was cold, a slight threat the man didn´t seem to get.

“Yeah, I figured," he took a sip "the three of you were inseparable back in the day after all.”

Trust? Trust was not was she was feeling anymore. Jinx had her gaze fixed on Silco. She was staring at him so intensely she could almost hear his thoughts going 'fuuuuuck'. But the coward  was. Not. Looking. Back. But then their eyes met for a brief second, and he was the smallest she had ever seen him. Guilty and ashamed and he wasn't Silco but the man he claimed Vander had killed long ago. Her father was showing vulnerability, and she wasn't about to dig in the wound. Not in front of other people.

She slowly returned to her drawings and noticed Silco physically relax. Only when the meeting was over and the investor had left, he acknowledged her again.

“Jinx…” He approached her.

“No.” She didn't move. “You can't do that”

“Do what?” He sat beside her on the floor but leaving some space between them.

“You knew my mum?” She looked at him, anger turning into tears.

Silco doubted for a second, “Yes.”

“No.” She stood up, tears uncontrollably running down her cheeks at that point. “It's not fair. You do not get to say I'm the daughter of the woman you knew. You do not get to feel grief or guilt or whatever the hell you… You can't tell me about her, or think of her when you look at me. You… you can't… She is mine. She is my mum. She can't… I've already…"

Silco got on his knees to hug her tight and she melted into his arms, all the anger transforming into muttered cries, they ended up on the floor again.”Shhh, don't cry. Don't cry, Jinx, she's yours, all yours. Shh, stop crying.”

They stayed like that for hours. Jinx eventually calmed down, but neither of them moved.

“You know, if you ever…” Silco whispered, breaking the silence.

“No.” Jinx interrupted in a weak mutter. “Grieve alone… Please. I don't want to know someone I've already lost.”

Not a request, but more of a thought that I wanted to share with you was that, I feel like remmick would mistakenly treat human darling like a pet multiple multiple times!!!

I feel like he has forgotten what it’s like to be human due to being a vampire for centuries, but he knows that humans are mostly like vampires. Except for the whole… blood sucking and… lurking in the dark part.

He knows that they get hungry [like vampires] and honestly… that’s probably all he knows actually. So when he meets human darling, he’s so confused on how to treat them. And in doing so, he unconsciously treats them like a pet on more than one occasion.

Whenever he comes around at night, and he’s spending time with his darling, he’ll probably notice how on certain days human darling is more tired than usual and how because of that, they fail to be extra alert. They aren’t as lively as he is [who’s just come back after a hunt] and he’ll just be like ‘hm…’ After time though, he’ll probably realize that ‘oh! They need rest! They’re tired!’ And he’s quick to usher them into their bedroom so they can get the sleep they need. He probably watches over their bed as they sleep like ‘aww my favorite human 🥹’ and it probably awakens the more protective instincts in him, to see them all vulnerable and soft like that.

It takes some time getting used to, but after he gets used to it he starts treating it like a routine. He’ll take human darling with him to places, letting them tag along with the rest of his vampire cult and if he notices darling beginning to yawn or get cranky, he just smiles wide and pets their head [like you would a sleepy kitten] and he’ll be like ‘I gotta go, my human needs to sleep’.

He probably finds it so adorable. On many an occasion he’ll be laying with darling and just petting them unconsciously. Either playing with their hair or rubbing their back/stomach. He can’t help it! You’re just so warm and alive. He’ll gush over his darling constantly.

To him, you basically are a little puppy or kitten. He makes sure you’re fed and content. And for female human darling, he’d be so happy taking care of her when it’s *that time of the month*. He finds it adorable that she’s so cranky and he’s ever the enthusiastic one to keep her in bed and massage her lower back if needed. The whole time he’s just suffering from cuteness aggression. The whole time hes just thinking ‘awe isn’t she just adorable when she pouts?’ Because we know damn well a human darling can’t actually stand up to him for shit. He just finds them so harmless and adorable when they get upset or angry.

He’s constantly thinking that ‘oh my human must be fed’ or ‘they need rest, they must be tired’ or ‘why are they upset? Do they need anything?’

It’s safe to say that I wouldn’t mind being coddled by him

I think Remmick with a human could be something so interesting. He’s spent centuries going from place to place, never sticking around too long, always just looking for another meal or people to incorporate into his hive mind in his search for a community that accepts him. You’d captivate him—the first human he doesn’t immediately want to kill to satiate his own hunger, and one he finds himself longing to be around. In all honesty, there’s parts of him that miss being a human man and yearn for it, for those days long since passed and faded with time. He takes enjoyment in watching you go about your life, full of an almost envied fascination when you eat and sleep and succumb to purely human needs, simple things he hasn’t experienced himself or been able to witness in years and years.

It makes him take extra care with you, adhering to your every whim. He treats you like something precious, like you’re his final tether to humanity. You want a specific meal? He’ll cook it for you, even if he doesn’t really know what he’s doing (but he’ll try his damndest). Your body is sore? He’ll give you the most thorough massage, his calloused and experienced hands working out every knot. You want cuddles? He drops everything he’s doing and will be by your side before you can even fully say his name, his body wrapping around yours and holding you impossibly close. That’s always his favorite part, getting to keep you in his arms while you sleep and give him some of your warmth. You always run hot, so you love sleeping with Remmick next to you, his cooled body nicely combatting some of the oppressive heat and keeping you comfortable.

He’s extremely careful with you around the other vampires. Remmick was hesitant when you first asked to join him, thinking it’d be too much for you, even with how tough you are—human stubbornness won’t do shit against a clan of supernatural beings with claws and teeth. He eventually relents, thinking it’d be nice to have you along anyway so he doesn’t fret about you when he’s gone. But trust he will be glued to your side pretty much the entire night. He’ll also be keeping the ghost of a leash on all the others to make sure none of them decide to get too daring and taste your mortal blood.

Let’s talk about if you get sick because oh god. He’s been immortal for so long he’s forgotten that that’s a thing that can happen until he hears your sniffles and congested breathing and then suddenly he’s panicking. The only thing he recalls about illness is the plagues of ages gone by, of people dropping like flies and being ravaged by sickness, and the poor thing thinks that you’ll be next. You reassure him endlessly that it’s just a cold, that you’ll get over it in a few days, and that modern medicine works wonders, though he remains skeptical. He plants himself right at your bedside, not even leaving to feed in his worry. You have to admit you greatly enjoy the way he cares for you though, doing all your chores and making sure you’re eating, running a hot bath for you to soothe those aches and chills, using his body like a built in ice pack for your fever, keeping a dutiful watch over you and your condition. You can’t remember the last time you were so well looked after.

Safe to say Remmick would be obsessed with you and everything about you, without a doubt.

Oh yeah definitely! It's a bit frustrating, as much as Vi and Cait are very hot, I've got my eyes on someone else. Some people be missing vital points of your post about people forgiving jinx but not Caitlyn. Just because she’s a rich nepo baby, doesn’t make her trauma any less significant than jinx’s. Like wtf. That’s shit I��m sick of. Mental illness and grief don’t stop because you have money. Ppl have an understandable anger towards privilege but i think it’s warped some of their perceptions of the show. Both Caitlyn and jinx’s reactions to trauma/grief are realistic, neither better or worse than the other. I’m more interested to see the end game for both of those characters and how they manage that grief/trauma in the long run. I have my thoughts on how they will mirror Cait and Jinx’s endings to reflect that

And you know what's worse than that is when I saw a post saying that Caitlyn was going to kill the child because she's a cop, what does being a cop or an enforcer have to do with killing a kid?

They completely ignoring that she's in a condition of hysteria from fear and anger at that moment, (literally, was Silco a cop when he decided to kill Vander and his children in episode 3 in season 1, or not? He's from Zaun so he has the right to do bad things, but if he's someone from Piltover, then no. "Of course I'm not saying that these actions are good, of course not. I just want to show how hypocritical these people are when it comes to comparisons and accepting actions from other characters and characters even though they're exactly the same actions")

But anyway, the important thing now is that they should know that trauma is trauma no matter what, whether the character is rich or poor, adult or teenager. Sadness and anger are emotions that are difficult to control, and this is the reality. There is no need to lie to ourselves. Go and search even on Google, and you will see that when writers make a character act in a certain way, whether it is good or bad, there is a clear and logical reason for it. And if these people sympathize with Jinx and her actions, then they should sympathize with Caitlyn as well because she is also a victim like Jinx, not only in terms of trauma, but Caitlyn also became a victim of Ambessa's manipulation. Same when Jinx was a victim of Silco's manipulation.

In my opinion, these people should calm down a bit because until now we haven't seen anything from the show. They should trust the writers of the show to make the characters look like this.

In Act 2's "Dirty Little Animals" sequence, we get a shot where masked men armed with short staffs guard a building called, "The Herald's Palace".

In the next episode, we see the silhouette of the Machine Herald illustrated. in the Magician tarot. The mask is unlike any skin that currently exists, because no other mask has been decorated with three shards to resemble a crown.

Within the Herald's grasp is Jinx's graffiti tag rotated onmits side, which is placed at the center of what should be the hexcore.

The wall that frames the sign of the "Herald's Palace" is decorated with blue swirls lit blue by the surrounding neon, that resembles the blue swirls of Jinx's cloud smoke tattoos.

But that sounds far-fetched doesn't it? How can we be sure these swirls are meant to represent Jinx?

I say we can because Jinx's tattoo swirls have been used as her calling card in another music video, Ekko's. In the "Misfit Toys" mv, we see a shot where the now deceased Eve's mask lays on the ground framed by scattered bullet shells engraved with swirls.

Once again, how can we be sure these swirls on the bullets this time are meant to represent Jinx? The storyboard tells us so.

The storyboard draft of this shot has the bullets engraved with more scratchy doodles in Jinx's style, but the final product shows they decided on using her tattoo patterns for a more subtle and uniform reference. It's all to subtly message that Jinx is responsible for this scene

So what does any of this mean?

It means that at least twice the Machine Herald has been referenced in-show with symbolism for royalty and Jinx tied to him. Could this foreshadow that Viktor will have a meteoric rise to power in Zaun to mirror Jayce's own in the first season? Maybe. Jinx will probably partially facilitate it somehow. Sevika will "quit smoking" next season, so there might be an even bigger vacuum than we thought.

One more thing! Before Arcane's premiere, they hosted a live event called, Undercity Nights, where you play as a Zaunite and join a chembaron faction to take control of the Undercity. This is the call to action.

It's interesting that they included two different quotes in here. One from Caitlyn, and the other from Viktor. We know Caitlyn is poised to not just become Sheriff but inherit her mother's seat on the Council as well next season. What does it mean to include Viktor?

Actually hold on. I know I said that probably Klavier doesn’t greet people unhinged in canon, but his first meeting with Phoenix involved getting him disbarred, so there are actually two points of evidence in favor of that being canon. Maybe more I haven’t played it yet.

This had me curious about how he greets people when he first meets them canonically, so here's how he greets people canonically:

"I was just thinking, is this what all the fuss is about? Bit of a buzz-kill, really." is how he greets the judge at the start of Zak's trial. sir this is a murder trial

"I know what you're thinking: 'You're out of your league, rock-boy.'" is implied to be how he greets Phoenix; it's not exactly made clear if he's referring to Phoenix specifically, but Phoenix does think "You're out of your league, rock-boy" right before Klavier says this so

"I must say I'm used to being inspected by the ladies… But this is the first time I've felt this way with a man." is how he greets Apollo when he first meets him

"Ah, Fräulein. What is a sweet morsel like you doing in such a dismal place? Can I help?" is how he greets Trucy when he first meets her. I don't know if it's relevant but this is immediately after he greets Apollo

"Why, I do believe we have a fresh face here. Greetings, Fräulein. I am Klavier Gavin. Some know me as a prosecutor, but I'm most famous for my former rock band. We were quite popular you know, but regrettably, the band went kaput. Perhaps you've heard of us? The Gavinners? I was the lead vocalist." is how he greets Athena when he first meets her. Athena almost immediately asks for his autograph so I guess they're equally unhinged (Apollo even points out that she's asking for his autograph despite having met him "like three seconds ago"). Klavier then proceeds to tease Apollo about Athena being "his type"

I would personally say how he greets Apollo is the most unhinged and every other way he greets people is slightly less unhinged. Like honestly Klavier's just a bit unhinged generally. I think it's funny to imagine the most unhinged possible ways he could greet people he never canonically meets even if he doesn't canonically greet people in the most out of pocket way possible though lol. I'm thinking if he ever had the chance to meet Clay he'd greet him with a space pun or something
