Life Update; #2

I FINISHED SCHOOL TODAY!!! not really its more so the last working day. on like the sunday after the next i have to go to school to take my exams and leave but that's easy so YAY!!! i did t-shirt signing on my fuck ass school uniform and it was GREAT DO RECOMEND! only problem is i'm upset about finishing my literature exam and not having a reason to rewatch course hero videos about lotf for no reason. LIKE I USED TO LIE AND SAY I WAS REVISING WHEN I JUST WANTED TO WATCH THEIR VIDEOS FOR FUN 💔💔💔 oh and i'm most probably gonna be separated from most of my friends because of shuffling next year for fucking pre-ig bro 💔 WHY 💔 eh im not too worried rn anyways i'm more so concerned about wtf happens ti the boys after the book ended. yeah sure the deus ex machina thing happened but like...what now??? why did golding never specify what happened next...💔 i will post what my uniform looks like now later btw!!! like a before and after because it's like a huge drastic change bro 😛 yeah thats it

My uni semester is done done done ! I received my good results, so I can finally exhale. My friends and I reread the Bell Jar and went to see the Dead Poet’s Society in theatre, and it was SO nice to think about something other than my uni assignments ☕️

#I feel so differently about the book now #I first read it right before I started my psychology degree. I liked the writing but didn’t think much of Esther #Now I’m older and felt suffocated while reading about Esther’s internal world. it always brings a smile to my face, remembering the first ever title drop on doctor who. it became a tradition for our titular character to introduce himself as the doctor and then have someone else understandably ask “¿doctor who?”. but no, the first time was susan mentioning that he was a doctor before anyone ever met him. then, since susan is his granddaughter and her last name is foreman, ian called him “doctor foreman”, leading this centuries-old mf who apparently doesn’t understand human naming conventions for a society he’s been presumably hiding out in for months to be the first ever character on the show to say the words out loud: doctor who
