I’ve given my sonadow kid dead siblings cause I wanted some added angst and some people on here inspired me to do so because of all their sonadow kids so I then made an AU where they’re alive cause I felt really bad about them being dead but now I’ve grown insanely attached to them specifically the oldest and now I just think about my main one as if all of their siblings are alive which means my shadow and sonic just have an army of kids

Giving me credit for the things I've made is respectful and helps me in my career, and I would hope that most people intend to respect my work... And the people who don't respect my work were never going to whether I asked or not.

this all being said about the light dragon and how it is definitely the biggest highlight of totk (for me at least), i Do think a lot of the reaction to it Is dependent on botw and zelda's characterisation from that game... a lot of which is kind of lacking in totk because of her more passive role (e.g. you are told about her + see her actions after they have already happened)
like. if you didn't already really like zelda and were sold on her relationship with link (and not even just from a shipping zelink perspective, like. just UNDERSTANDING they have a strong bond from everything they've gone through together) then i'm not sure if any of that stuff in totk would've hit as hard as it did. the game does very little to build on what we already know about them, which i think is both a letdown to new players (which. i am not sure why they are playing the sequel before botw, but that is how totk acts most of the time lmao) and returning ones, and as time goes on it's become harder for me to blame people for not caring for it as much.

#which also makes it bizarre that totk treats itself like its Not a sequel. even though it is at the same time#ugh the names are escaping me but i am pretty sure this is a thing thats happened in other Sequel games too#just acting like the first one never happened or only when its convenient. stuff like that#i would loveeee to know how bad covid hit totks plot development or whatever. if anything. else they may have been planning#theyve gone on record saying that apparently the plan was for zelda to Always have turned into a dragon#and assumedly the beginning/ending parallel as well (eg hands and link catching her)#but i have to assume or at least HOPE that the buildup may have been stronger. idk man its so strange truly#ANYWAY SORRY FOR RAMBLING but i do find this discussion intriguing. and i LIKED totk even despite my criticisms#its genuinely some of the most fun ive had in a video game ever and creating content for it and talking about it has made me very happy#this being said. there are some choices that were made and i do not and likely will not ever understand them#because they said nah we're done now. bye <3#like oh okay. thank you aonuma. can i at least have wind waker on switch now please#personal.txt

I just realized I didn’t really announce this despite it being a Big Deal but. finally got a top surgery date and secured it with a big ol deposit. august 5th. kinda hard to process in a way
#I have like only one friend at this point irl so i didn’t exactly have anyone hyping me up when it went through#I was like. this is a huge deal and something I’ve been waiting for for over a decade now. anyway time to go to work#on that note the one close friend I have Also does not have a license so im not 100% sure how im getting there/back (mostly back)#but at least I have three months to figure it out#considering asking a family friend who lives in the area but I feel weird about it since I haven’t seen/talked to her in a long time#like she’s a friend of my mom’s not all that close to me#but anyway at least the lodging should be doable since I have 3000 different ways of getting hotel discounts#(I get big discounts with three big companies two of which are Hyatt and Hilton and the other owns a bunch of franchises with other names)#I don’t know how/what to tell my mother about it#like she knows I’ve been trying to get it figured out and get a date settled but. telling her the actual date and that it’s definitely#happening is just. more real and im scared.#it’s funny how she thinks she’s supportive but also am constantly walking on eggshells re: my gender because the topic is#a trigger for rage and disgust or at the very least disapproval so like. yeah#I genuinely don’t know if she’d rather drive me or not have anything to do with it#because on one hand she’s a hypochondriac and will probably be freaking out about a Big Medical Procedure like this#and I can see her Needing to be around or something. on the other hand she generally doesn’t want anything to do with Gender Stuff#usually so she can pretend it doesn’t exist but I mean. no matter what that’s gonna be kinda impossible to avoid here#anyway. uhh. yeah. im glad the date is a few weeks before school starts in the fall i genuinely was expecting to have to deal with#recovering at the beginning of the semester and boy that’d suck. re: "good girl" i think they say it once randomly as a joke and its just one of those things that gets him wayyy more than they expected it would. so now its their secret weapon and they use it very sparingly and every single time he gets super embarrassed about it but it works ill tell you what.
