Fuck I love this. It’d basically be like the familiar au, except without the animal transformations- they can become shadows at will, phasing through objects and going anywhere they want. She’s very lucky she scored these ‘friends’ on the other side... unlike literally all other shadow monsters, they don’t want anything in return for their services and they certainly aren’t going to drag her into the underworld if she can’t pay her debts. Spending time with her is honestly payment enough.

My thoughts on Zelda expansion pass (and what exactly is this whodoo DLC nonsense anyhow?)

They laid it out pretty plainly.

Get trivial chests when you buy it.

Get DLC packs holding newer content they develop beyond launch when they’re ready.

If you’re worried about Nintendo “Locking us out of part of a game for 20 bucks” Final Fantasy XV did/is doing the same thing, and none of the major features of what is in the Season Pass/DLC like the multiplayer mode is in the current game now (except for the cosmetics, which just come with the SP anyway)

//IMPORTANT// Keep in mind that none of what the pass encompasses is even/will be done developed when the game launches, so it works more like an expansion preorder with immediate in game bonuses. You aren’t withheld from more of the game you get at launch for 20 bucks. Unless you really want whatever is in those three (yes, they numbered it) chests.

TL;DR: DOES THE EXPANSION LOCK YOU FROM A COMPLETE GAME?: No. Watch the trailer again closely. They have scheduled releases down into Holiday 2017.

SHOULD YOU BUY IT?: I mean… It’s more Zelda, and you purchase both packs for less than what they would be individually, so if you like that stuff, sure.

I’ll just wait for the Four Swords Multiplayer DLC that will probably not happen (I want it to happen so bad, maybe we’ll see Vaati again, who knows)
