About

Two high fantasy boys cannot conceal their mutual affection to save their lives.

Dara is a wanderer and an individual defined by the phrase "living in the moment". He crosses worlds with but a breeze. They stumbles upon Mir, a Bloodling Witch, who has a passion project he desperately wants to accomplish. The two are naturally drawn to each other and despite outside circumstances, they deepen their relationship; that is - until a bright, blood red light swallows their little world.

Doing this with Histoire's Destiny , a webcomic spinoff of my "main main" story, which I talked about in another prompt.

Histoire's Destiny 's main genre is High Fantasy. I write a lot of fantasy and the series this story is connected to is Portal Fantasy (therefore, this was supposed to be mainly portal fantasy as well). As I brainstormed the story and the world it takes place in I just kinda stumbled into High Fantasy. I'm excited about the reveals of circumstances and happenings inherently magical/fantastical within the story, that are explained by The Whimsy. To drop hints of the overarching Lore also makes me eager.

What if Histoire's Destiny was, for example, a Contemporary Romance? It would have similarities, of course, but would look very different in terms of setting, design, character motivations, design, arcs and plot. Since the initial plot relies on certain fantastical mechanisms within the respective, fictive world. Also, the Romance aspect would contradict the aroace/queerplatonic storyline I'd like to explore with the main characters.

TFWGF - A young man mauled in Limbo is fast enough to outrun the beginning of the end of the world. A demigod assists him.

Double O - Adventurer sisters stumble upon a forgotten death and are joined in on the fight by the equivalent of a semi deity. Normal days are interrupted by pests.

B|C - Twin flames destined to destroy existence decide their own career path which ends them up in a war with plagued creatures that cannot burn but which ignite.

BAD TOKENS is a fantastical project consisting of multiple creative works and stories, told through various artistic mediums: writing -> prose = books (the Standalone Tetralogy, B.T's 1st story); visual art -> webcomics (a Tetralogy's Volume's Spinoff Prequels: H.D + AE) & a print comic (another new B.T story); video/physical game -> (battle) card game (the GFUG story, B.T's 2nd story) ; audio-visual -> musical (some other new B.T story); streaming -> vtubing /larping (the final B.T story). Huge project.

Love manifests in this story through quality time, touches, small declarations and sacrifice paired with selfishness. But dominantly, it manifests through encouragement and serving as inspiration.

Love is a central focus of many stories. Family. Friends. Partners. Love in a lot of forms. How does love most frequently manifest itself in your story?
