I'll be happy to better spitball some ideas when I get home/am not on my phone, but any little tidbits you can share to give an idea of the villain or plot you're trying to hash out to get a truly detestable little guy? 👀
Ooh thank you so much!!!!
Okay so, here's what I got so far:
Still deciding the name and gender but this character will be in their mid 20s.
(Setting info) Its for a dark high fantasy WIP I have become hyperfixated on during the past few days.
This character will be a recurring minor villain/side character who is a twist on the "Twist Villain" trope - in which the fact that they're detestably evil isn't exactly hidden but they sure are ANNOYING at first, enough that the audience will go "UGH I WANNA THROTTLE THIS MF SO BAD-" every time they show up even if they don't say anything in the scene lmao. So, when they're revealed to be more than just an annoying obstacle but a complete psychopath the audience and the MCs can go "I KNEW IT--"
This'll be the kind of character for whose death the audience cheers (:<

I'm trying to figure out how to describe an character's voice, and I'm struggling. I want her to sound confident and a bit sassy, but still friendly. My best comparison would be, like, Roxy, minus the synthesizing, from FNAF Security Breach or like Wendy from Gravity Falls, but a little higher pitched.
Does any of that makes sense?
This is how I have it described at the moment, and I feel like it doesn't really get across the idea or even make sense
Tumblr media
Any advice, y'all?

Hello! May I just start by saying that your blog is one of the most helpful resources I've ever come across! The physiology of love has been particularly helpful for writing a very logically driven character who would absolutely go on a tangent about that kind of thing!
Now, I've encountered a recent roadblock in writing the relationship between that character and a very esoteric driven character (if you can't prove it with logic, they believe in it). The two are in a romantic relationship and get along very well, they respect and even make time to go to events regarding each other's interests/beliefs.
The problem is, they bond by debating. Like, they debate about the possibilities of the supernatural existing, do ghosts exist, etc. They don't argue, that's the key here. I... don't get it. To me, debating is arguing. If I believe something very strongly that I can back up with facts, I can get riled up in seconds if someone even jokingly goes against me.
Could you help me understand debating? Or even why some people do it to bond? It's my biggest struggle with writing these two characters and every time I try to research myself I just keep getting "benefits of debating" articles.
Hi! The first thing that came to mind after reading this was studies on sensation seeking.
Sensation seeking - the tendency to search out and engage in thrilling activities as a method of increasing stimulation and arousal.
Perhaps your characters experience debating as a thrilling activity.
Zuckerman's Sensation-Seeking Scale (SSS)
A questionnaire designed to measure the extent to which a person needs novel or exciting experiences and enjoys the thrills and excitement associated with them.
Contains 4 subscales, each containing items and phrases as a forced-choice between two distinct options:
First is thrill and adventure seeking, with items such as “I would like to try parachute jumping” versus “I would never want to try jumping out of a plane, with or without a parachute.” These items ask about desire for outdoor sports or activities involving elements of risk, such as flying and scuba diving.
The other scales are experience seeking (e.g., “I am not interested in experience for its own sake” versus “I like to have new and exciting experiences and sensations even if they are a little frightening, unconventional, or illegal”) These items refer to the seeking of new sensory or mental experiences through unconventional or nonconforming lifestyle choices;
disinhibition (e.g., “I like wild, uninhibited parties” versus “I prefer quiet parties with good conversation”). These items indicate a preference for getting “out of control” or an interest in wild parties, gambling, and sexual variety;
boredom susceptibility (e.g., “I get bored seeing the same old faces” versus “I like the comfortable familiarity of everyday friends”) reflected in items that refer to a dislike for repetition, routine work, monotony, predictable and dull people, and a restlessness when things become unchanging.
If we look at each subscale, perhaps your characters are high in "experience seeking" and "boredom susceptibility" and this might be reflected in their love of debating. As a whole, perhaps they both have what is called an HSS personality.
High Sensation-Seeking Personality
If you have this type of personality, it means you prefer to live your life with boundless energy and enthusiasm. You constantly seek out new experiences that will delight, surprise, stimulate and invigorate you – and you may indulge to excess.
Typical Characteristics of High Sensation-Seekers (HSS):
A continuous need for novel and diverse experiences that stimulate them*
A low boredom threshold*
Dislike of routines*
Doesn't respond well to authority or rules and regulations
May not be able to resist impulsive urges
A tendency to make unusual choices that may frighten those around them
HSS personalities often:
Are drawn to high-risk hobbies and sports
Build relationships that contain chaotic elements*
Like music, art and cinema that is daring and stimulating*
Challenge people by provoking raw and intense emotions*
Are fast and sometimes reckless drivers, which may be reflected in their history of accidents or speeding tickets
Become restless or depressed and even more desperate for exciting experiences if sensation is denied*
*Perhaps these characteristics and behaviours apply to your characters.
And we can always use The Five-Factor Model of Personality to help us understand certain traits and behaviours.
Using this model, we could say that your characters likely have high levels of openness and extroversion, and may not be as agreeable, to explain their love of debating.
(Of course, in reality, psychological tests and qualified assessors are needed to make these conclusions using these models, but I think that they can also be used by writers as guides for character building and development.)

Thanks so much for your kind words! Really happy to hear the Physiology of Love post was helpful for you. Hope this one would be too :)

I've been deeply passionate on making my own book (Dearly Possessed), but I'm like… scared that it will turn out to be corny or just cringy- and I really don't want to cringe at my own book. And I also don't want to fall on stereotypes or anything else like that. My book's genre is horror, thriller, fantasy/supernatural and what not. And I don't want people going "Oh… another edgy book written by an edgy person, so lame" or something along that line.
So far- for the shortest description of the book: " Vivian hates people, she really does. She makes that clear. There's been 9 people who 'unalived' themselves at the school- why not make it ten? She likes even numbers. She doesn't want to 'unalive' herself because of the bullying, that happens to everyone in the school- unless you're preppy snobby little fucks- if not, if you're a little different? Yeah, hate to you then. But Vivian didn't fit in anywhere, she didn't want to. The alts? Yeah, not really. The sports people? She hates P.E. The nerds? Yeah… nope. Vivian hates everyone. But one bully went too far, they were just meant to pick on Vivian, just a little- they… they didn't mean to push her that hard. They didn't know her head would land on a rock- it wasn't their fault. So they hid her body, throw it down into a opening, in a deep cave- left to rot. But what happens when Vivian didn't actually die? She just passed out- and now she found a weird looking book down there… and her blood gets on it when she reads it and- oops, looks like a demon is now attached to her, body and soul bound. "
Of course, not everything is written here, this is just a short draft that sums up most of the story that I have thought of so far. The main characters (or who I have fully thought of, and why they're in the story): Vivian Vrost, Kiaran (that's the demon) and Caleb- one of Vivian's 'friend's', she doesn't see him as a friend, but he sees her as one (he might also just be delusional and hopelessly in love with her)
but yeah, that's all I have so far. Feedback appreciated. Also, this might change in the future or not, but yeah- is this too much? Or does it interest some of you guys? I'd like some tips<3 Just a little scared this will be a failure like all my other passion projects
(ps. I'm not using the word 'unalive' in the final project, it's only there as a censor<3)

Is in my fic, now my question is, should I keep it?
The conversation is between a brother and a sister, and the relationship in question is between friends.
So. Should I keep this. Or not?

I'm working on Raina right now, and one aspect of her design that I've been thinking about is her holding a dagger in reverse grip. She usually dual-wields them, holding one with the standard grip and one in reverse.
I know, through research and general common sense, that a reverse grip on weapons just generally isn't super useful, with very few if any benefits, but I'm wondering if it's so nonbeneficial that it would override "rule of cool"
I feel like I need a source that evaluates both. Any discussion about reverse grip weapons is usually by swordfighting nerds, and they might not be very knowledgeable in writing and this "rule of cool", but people who ARE writers that understand the concept might not have a very good grasp on the efficiency...
if there are any swordfighting nerds who are also knowledgeable on writing, worldbuilding, or character design... hit me up in the reblogs ig

Writeblr Garden Advent Calendar
December 20: Relationships
Judas and Rose embody and fit every stereotype about twins (whether this intentional or not on their part is unknown to everyone except for them). They can finish each other's sentences, they have strikingly similar looks, they always seem to know what the other is thinking, they feel that their souls are linked together, and they would do anything for each other.
Judas is the first one to see that Vlad is the man Rose has been waiting for, and the first one to see that their love is one for the ages. He is the one to convince their parents (mostly their mother) to let the courtship happen, and not to interfere with the relationship. He is also the one to politely warn/threaten Vlad about treating Rose correctly, which amuses Vlad and also causes him to have a slightly higher opinion of Judas than he had previously.
Rose is deeply appreciative of her brother's constant support, and seeks him out for comfort and advice throughout her marriage (such as when she learns she can't have kids, and then later when she's frustrated with Vlad for being reluctant to turn her into a vampire). She also is the one to turn him into a vampire after he is mortally wounded trying to save her from Van Helsing — who in turn is trying to harm Vlad — solely because she cannot bear to lose him.
While Judas appreciated the choice she made, and was glad she made it, Vlad was not necessarily so keen on it. His relationship with Judas had always been largely cordial and occasionally familial (as in, they would sometimes act familiarly with each other and share moments of brotherly bonding), and of course he loved Rose with every fiber of his being, but he felt as if this decision was disrespectful due to Rose not giving Judas a choice in the matter. He does eventually come around, however, when Rose and Judas explain that they always planned to have the latter become a vampire, since neither twin could bear to think of a life without the other.
Vlad and Rose's relationship is like Judas and Rose's relationship in that it is intrinsic and full of deep love and loyalty. The relationships are unlike each other, however, in that Vlad and Rose's is infinitely more complicated. They view the world differently due to having spent their mortal and immortal lives in different eras, and because Vlad has a far more complicated and traumatizing past than Rose does. They also view vampirism very differently, and often argue about it (Judas has kept a tally of the arguments), but these arguments always end in each realizing the other won't ever truly understand their side (though not for a lack of trying). Perhaps the only thing they do agree on in that particular argument is that they will never agree (this is something Judas finds incredibly funny, as the repeat argument indicates that two clearly never truly learn this lesson).
The relationship between all three is interesting because they all balance each other out in some ways. Judas is able to give perspective on Rose to Vlad, and Vlad to Rose, and this in turn helps both understand the other better. Meanwhile, Vlad often plays the role of the mediator/peacemaker when the twins start arguing/bickering, and usually talks Rose down, or firmly warns/cautions Judas against further provoking her (lest Vlad have to physically separate them). Ironically, Vlad and Judas' relationship with each other is improved largely by Rose's presence and influence, as she is what ties them together. She is also the one who encouraged them to curate a proper relationship in the first place, and is in turn the one responsible for the creation of their bond. They have both often said that without her and her influence, they would probably be more of the traditional in-laws and consider each other to be more like acquaintances than friends (or even brothers).

WRITEBLR INTRO
Yo, what up bitches, its me, ya girl, Snellod, Goddess of Snails and I... am a writer!
For just 2 months shy of a year I have been plugging away at my own original fiction, Dawn of the Planet of the Snails - A soft sci fi story featuring snails and such. It currently sits at approximately 36k words and I plan to begin uploading chapters online soon, with ideally one released a week, for so long as I can keep the schedule.
But, you see, I have hit a bit of a snag. Of late, I have been afflicted with a terrible sleep deprivation, and I do not trust myself to continue writing (as it will be dreadful, and I fear I'll just create a big ol' mess that'd be more work than I'd like to fix) and I certainly don't trust myself to do the Very Important Edit that needs doing.
But, the poison has seeped into my soul, the rot afflicted my mind, and I feel the need to be creative building. My thoughts are consumed by my sweet baby DotPotS and in the absence of being able to actually work on the damn thing, I feel the urge to talk about it.
Hence... Writeblr. I've intended to make a sideblog dedicated to my writing a while, a place to share my thoughts, updates and perhaps even extracts from my stories or my various escargoverse MSpaint doodles. Now seemed like a good time. A tradition of two means little but it nontheless makes me happy to have started both my blogs so late in the night as to be inadvisable.
And hey, a little self-promo's never hurt anyone!
Who is Snellod?
Alleged Goddess of all Snails. Confirmed trans woman writer.
My literary loves are the alien and fantastical, and such, I lean strongly towards sci-fi and fantasy of all stripes. The more unique the world the happier I is.
Additionally, I adore an adventure. I love the feel of exploring vast universes, of journeying across unknown lands. Extends to my real life too, where I'll joyously seek out small towns and villages of little note, just to go to a place I have not yet been too.
Talking of my real life, I am an obsessive lover of stories. I strive to attain cinephile status (actually studying film and television at uni! My focus is on screenwriting), I am a Doctor Who fanatic (classic and modern), still think daily of the Magnus Archives and of course, love to read. In terms of physical books, I have just begun the Dune trilogy at the behest of my brother, and with regard to webnovels, my favourites are The Wandering Inn and AUU-16. The former my girlfriend got me into, the latter I got her into.
Sidenote, read AUU-16, its really fucking good, and really fucking under-appreciated. Link here: Zynima Network.
I'm also in love with nature. Yes, being away from cities and such, I enjoy the odd hike into the country, but also just learning about the multitudes of plants and animals and bugs and birds and such of the world. In a similar vein, rather fond of spec-evo. I like to think this fondness seeps into my writing at least time to time, but I don't think I'm clever enough to do spec-evo well, at least not yet.
Oh, and one last thing. Literally incapable of shutting up. Did not mean to spend four paragraphs talking about myself, kinda intended this to be more of an Escargoverse introduction than anything. But hey-ho.
What is Dawn of the Planet of the Snails?
Beneath a kaleidoscopic sky, and adorned in a forest of titanic grass blades, swarming with predators, and home to intelligent life… this is the Planet of the Snails.
Or at least, so the tagline says. Inspired by the sage writing advice of "to write a story you're passionate about, you gotta be at least a little self indulgent" this is my very self-indulgent passion project.
When a research mission to investigate an inexplicable hole opened on a near-future Earth goes awry, its ragtag crew of misfits find themselves castaways in a land as familiar as it is utterly alien. Can they survive this hostile terrain? Can they uncover the secrets of the anomaly that lead to their marooning? And will they ever make it back to Earth to spill the beans?
A pulpy sci-fi adventure you don’t want to miss!
Its science fiction and snails!
Revolutionary!
Thrilling!
Join Arnold, Kasia, Samantha and Ty as they adventure across the mysterious Planet of the Snails… and beyond!
So reads my WiP blurb. Inspired by old adventures stories and cooked up in the middle of a classic who binge-watch, DotPotS is a soft sci-fi action/adventure original fiction. It is fun, exciting, and if I've played my cards right, at least a little camp.
I will likely be dropping more snippets and details as this blog goes on, I have plans for a Characters post, in which I give details on me blorbos, and a setting post, to tell you more about the titular Planet of the Snails.
If you're interested, feel free to ask questions, or suggest ideas for future posts on the road to release. Although, uh, I fear I haven't given much detail for folks to latch onto, be curious about. You'd tell me if my blurb was lacking, right? Right?
Eh. Issue for awake Snellod.
And what is the Escargoverse?
As of yet, highly hypothetical. DotPotS began as a simple short story, a quick dance into a universe, before dancing neatly back out. But as time went on, ideas for new arcs, settings, stories exploded into my brain and my plan for a larger world took shape.
The escargoverse will be a vast semi-interconnected universe full of strange places and peoples, a world that goes beyond the human understanding of what 'should be.'
Ever since reading Discworld as a teen, I have loved connected universes, especially when they're the passion project of one, or a few people. I have always sought my own, to be my legacy and I really think this could be it.

all of this is good advice, and you should definitely try to separate the creation aspect from the social aspect, and even find different ways to feed both if you need to, but there's some stuff you can play around with if you haven't already.
ways to help get eyeballs on the fic you already wrote:
make a tumblr post about it! put a link and the first few paragraphs as a teaser, or give a summary and some of the thoughts you had while writing it or why you wrote it in the first place. you can absolutely make more than one of these. your followers might be interested, or know someone who is!
is it a small fandom? try making a sideblog just for that fandom, and collect all your favorite posts. people will be looking for a content repository, and you can put your fic in with all your other favorite stuff so they can see it
look around the fandom and see if anyone is looking for recs that sound like your story, or just looking to promo other people's stories. (some people don't like self-reccing so watch out for that, but other people specifically seek it out)
make your own rec list! other fics in the same fandom, on the same theme, with similar plots or macguffins, etc. can be lots of fun to look at. and then you can put your own at the end, so people can check out the story by the cool reccer with good taste!
if you're familiar with the writer side of tumblr at all, you can find quotes from your fic that might appeal to different parts of writeblr. at least someone can appreciate your clever turn of phrase, if not the whole fic.
I don't have any advice for this, but some people have luck changing their summaries and tags
ways to get eyeballs on your fic in general:
look, I know it's obvious, but bigger fandoms have a lot more people clicking random stories. try writing a story or two in a bigger fandom to boost your self-esteem
this one seems counterintuitive to me, because I love long stories, but people are most likely to read a fic that's around 1k. so try writing in that range - especially for very long fics, a lot of people won't put in the time for writers they don't already know. a lot of people will look at a drabble too!
look at the popular characters, ships, and ensembles in your fandom. any of them appeal to you? it can be easier to find an audience if a lot of people already like that thing - but if you really don't like any of them, don't bother. it won't be fun for you. stick with characters and/or interactions you like.
any common tropes you like? popular plots, AUs, and motifs can grab people's attention, and some people search by those regardless of fandom. soulmates, pet adoption, and found family are pretty popular cross-fandom.
alternately, look at the least popular ones. when some people are really into a tiny fandom/character/trope/whatever, they'll get very excited over new content! you might make friends!
you can try interacting with prompt blogs. if people find a prompt interesting, they'll often look through the notes for stories, and stick around if they like yours. if there isn't one for your fandom, you might also consider starting one. that way you can find people who like the same things you do.
share other people's fics! if you see other fics on tumblr, or links to AO3 fics, and you like them, keep them. then when people scan through your blog for cool writing, they'll find your writing too, and maybe migrate over to your AO3.
post WIPs. people love WIPs
none of this may be helpful if it's that one story that's deep down part of your soul, but any of it might help if you're just feeling isolated from the rest of fandom. mix and match and see if it helps. and anyway it's pretty cool you wrote a story
any advice about how to deal with posting a fic and getting radio silence? I know ppl aren’t owed engagement ofc, but I feel embarrassed at having spent so long on something no one cares about, and although I liked thinking about the characters and fandom before (and was considering writing more about them), now I can’t think about it without feeling that overpowering embarrassment 😭 part of me wants to delete the fic, but that would mean having to open ao3 and look at it again LMAO
sorry for the venting, I know this is probably a me problem, but has anyone else felt this, and if so, is there any way to make this pervasive shame go away??
*hugs* This is a very painful thing to experience and there isn't really any way to make it just go away, unfortunately. However, you can reflect on it a bit, when you're ready to.
Writing and posting are separate activities. If you've enjoyed writing the story but you haven't enjoyed posting it to the Archive, you can always continue writing just for yourself. This may or may not be something you'd enjoy - you know better than I do whether some of your enjoyment came from the anticipation of a reaction to your work.
Try to analyze where your embarrassment is coming from. Is it worrying that your story was poorly written? A lack of a reaction doesn't mean that the story is bad. Being unpopular doesn't mean it's bad, either. If your story is good to you, then it's a good story.
Is your embarrassment from feeling like you were "caught trying." Is it a cringe at the idea that you put effort into something that someone else doesn't (appear to) find valuable?
Is it actually embarrassment at all? Are you feeling a different kind of hurt instead? Did you hope that someone in particular would read your story and now you feel ignored? Did you hope to be embraced by your community and now you feel shunned?
These are difficult questions that I'm asking and you might not want to think about them right now. That's okay. You don't need to if you don't want to. You can definitely delete the fic and pretend it never happened. Or you can log out of that AO3 account and create a new one and never look back. Maybe you just need to take a week or a month off for a hiatus of sorts and when the ache isn't as bad, you'll be able to face it all again.
When I felt this way, it was because I felt like I'd put something into my community and that I'd been ignored. But since that time, I've found one person who gives me all of the community support I used to get from an entire fandom, and now when I post something on AO3 I don't actually need a response anymore. I get all of the fun and excitement and validation etc from my conversations and RP threads with my best friend.
Once you've got a little distance from the pain of this moment, try to figure out what it is that you were hoping to get and then figure out how you can get it. Maybe it's through posting fic to AO3, but maybe it's not.
Let's see what others can suggest. This is not something you're experiencing alone, anon. So very many of your fellow fan writers have experienced this too ❤️

Should I go the science fantasy route or the modern fantasy route? Heeeellllpppp meeeeee! Ughhh >:(
I’m going to drop the most basic ideas/tropes/plot points in my WIP below. Could you  P L E A S E  give me some advice and tell me if you think it fits more of  modern fantasy world or a scifi fantasy world? Both ideas are set in a modern, secondary world like ours but obviously different.
Science & Magic Are Intermixed (Certain Humans Have Powers)
I’ll either have espers who have psychokinetic abilities or mages with magic (whatever ‘magic’ looks like/is called by in my world). I just can’t make up my damn mind on what would work better. Technically they both accomplish the ‘humans with powers’ role I want for this story. It’s incredibly rare for a human to be born with these powers/magic, so majority of the population is non-magic.
Post-apocalyptic Event that Changes the World (Demon Apocalypse)
We’re talking thousands and thousands of years after said apocalypse, so humanity/society has had plenty of time to rebuild. This catastrophic event drastically changed how society had to proceed going forward in order to prevent it from happening again. Certain organizations systemically euthanized people who were more at risk for demon possession and created safety measures and magical safeguards (but most of this is not not public knowledge). While mages/espers took control after said event and there’s class issues with magic vs. non-magic folk, it’s not necessarily a dystopian setting. Society is up and is thriving.
Voluntary Games to Increase Status, Wealth, and Quality of Life (Maybe)
Colosseum-style games run by a magical empire that offer life-changing rewards for those who participate. No one is forced, but people are heavily encouraged to enter. Games vary and could be anything from a race to a battle royal to hide and seek to a talent show. All games are pubic and televised and aggressively advertised to those on the lower end of the social hierarchy spectrum (non-magic folk).
If I Go the Modern Fantasy Route (My Original Idea)
I’ll be able to include other immortal species besides in my story, like werewolves, vampires, shapeshifters, etc. There’s not a lot of them because when mages took control after the apocalypse, many were hunted down and eliminated as the posed a risk to the survival of humanity. Common folk believe that there’s no supernatural creatures left other than the mages (this is partially true, as their numbers have dwindled drastically). I also like this idea because HELLOOOO I can you even imagine magical schools? Criminal organizations with magic? Humans using magic technology to get ahead in life because they have no magic of their own??? So many possibilities!
If I Go the Science Fantasy Route (More Recent Idea)
The only species in the story are common humans, elite humans, espers, super soldiers, and demons. There’s no such thing as immortality, though through thousands of years of medical experimentation the lifespan of all types of humans has increased exponentially. I also thought of possibly creating a dystopia disguised as a utopia type setting. ‘Magic’ is not considered magic as it is considered a type of science.
What are your thoughts??

fantasy writeblrs hi
Hiya writeblrs, specifically fantasy writers, lately I've had an inkling to try a big fantasy book again but I'm realizing I'm not super well read in the genre and I feel like that may be a problem LOL
I've read like. Dark Tower and LOTR. and a bit a tiny smidge of Cosmere so I feel like I should read more in the genre if I'm gonna try and write in it. I can't guarantee I'll have the time to read everything but I do wanna read a lot more in 2023. This WIP idea is SUUUUPER early too so I think reading some good stuff would help it a lot to actually become a thing.
(also if you have like any fantasy writing recommendations in general I'd be rly interested in reading them! I can impart my webnovel knowledge in return if you like)

The best line I wrote today:
"Yes, but foolishness rarely appears as such in the moment. To spy your injury in others and to seek the same salve they seek? Only to later realize the salve is a poison, or to realize the wound would have healed on its own without further meddling, or to realize the so-called friends who share your injury possess no true longing to heal? That, my princess, is a trap into which we have all blundered."

seeking advice
How do you all do it ?
You just sit down and write?
I have set up manageable goals like really, i know i don't write a lot, i know i struggle because i'm a babywriter. My life isn't too busy right now that i can't take time to write, but i have no words or no scenes.
What's your secret ? How do you write ?
With nanowrimo, they give a bunch of advice to set up a routine to help writing and create the mindset. It has been useful.
My main problem seems to be that my stories are character driven. I'm playing with characters like i would be with playmobils. My current wip has a little plot and a little outline (and even a twist, kind of proud of thinking about it) so I'm not totally lost about what is supposed to happen. But my ideas and scenes come when i'm doing other things (like brushing my teeth, like cooking, like listening to a podcast, and suddenly i'm making a connection about my wip). But when I'm in front of my page (notebook or computer) : it gets difficult. After 400 words, i'm done. No more juice.
How do you deal with this and channel through to actually write?
