i just started watching Lucifer, because he's so delightfully funny, annnd

i've reached episode 9, and i can't help but wonder: -> is Lucifer like- genuinely attracted to anyone in the sexual sense?

like... he acts on other people's attraction to him before making a move, or he waits until Maze [gorgeous, gorgeous lady btw] brings someone to him ↑ he never actually seeks out a partner, he just waits until someone approaches

in fact, the only person he seems genuinely interested in at all is Chloe

I saved the best for last.

Behold the Morningstar, Lord Lucifer, Sin of Pride. King of Hell.

It was really cool learning Lucifer's "official" symbol. And coming up with a unique design.

I didn't really change his story much from Paradise Lost, so i won't go too in-depth with that.

I really wanna gush on his design.

If u couldn't tell, I did reference the Kingdom of Heaven, specifically King Bauldwin's design. I feel not enough media/stories give Lucifer a disfigurement from his clash with Yahweh and subsequent fall. I wanted to show the brutal and sadistic nature of Yahweh and how he handles any who pose a threat to him and his power.

As it says on the page, Lucifer is constantly burning from the inside out because of the constant stress of all his contained power.

Also, I love the detail in pretty much all interpretations. Lucifer is drop-dead gorgeous. And I wanted to keep that for before his rebellion. His veil/power still allows him to appear to most lesser beings. However, he wishes, but certain Deamon lords and other powerful entities aren't fooled by the veil. But none will ever see past the veil.

He still has all the charisma and charm and saúve he has always had. His silver tongue still sits beautifully in his mouth. He just doesn't rely on his looks anymore.

I also wanted to show the dichotomy of Pride, for despite his massive hubris, Lucifer does feel shame of both his physical and emotional scars. He plays his facade to its fullest, but he never "shows his true face"

Don't be mistaken, though. Despite most of his power being sealed away, he is still one of the most powerful beings in existence.

But above all, his kin, he knows his kingdom is still just a prison. Lucifer was crowned king because of his power, but I also veiw the title as more ceremonial. A gift of sorts from those who joined in his rebellion.

TLDR: Personally, i always veiwed Lucifer as like, a fancier king pin in an irl prison.

this is a Lucifer Morningstar redesign (kinda)

I was trying to convey a sort of false profit feel with the priest-like sleeves and the crown in the vague shape of a pope hat I was also trying to make them god/goddesslike bc as I said as God's former favorite I think he should be stunning and I gave her a mysterious atmosphere with the body being covered with a flowy cloth making any distinctive features less noticeable along with the rest of my design choices from my last post

Incase you didn't see it: I wanted him to feel more like the sin of pride and king of hell, with a false halo and obstructed face to show how he believes he's superior (kinda like an absolute monarch) and still divine, along with the eyes on his wings always looking at him portraying how self-absorbed he is.

(forgive my rambling I just want people to enjoy and understand it as I do)
