Skimmons!
When it comes to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daisy Johnson and Jemma Simmons are absolute friendship goals. Whether they're taking down HYDRA or getting high on space puffs, the pair are too cute for words. Beyond that, they would do just about anything for each other. And that's why so many fans are all aboard the Skimmons train. Tell us, Skimmons shippers, what do you enjoy most about their relationships? When you think about your favorite Daisy & Jemma moments, what comes to mind?

All Aboard the Stony Train
If there's one ice cream flavor that summarizes the relationship between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, it's rocky road. Tony and Steve's story began long before the two even met, via Howard Stark's stories of the beloved Captain America. While Cap and Iron Man often found themselves on opposite sides of a moral line, they found common ground when it mattered most. And for many fans, Tony and Steve have the makings of a great couple. So all you Stony shippers, why do you think they're perfect for each other? What are your favorite MCU moments between Tony & Steve?

Ode to Loki
The God of Mischief soon returns Still mired in a past so tragic Trust not his rage, for hot it burns But never doubt his wit and magic
A son betrayed, a brother scorned But the Liesmith could be so much more By Mobius he’ll be forewarned Redemption is no simple chore
He has more tricks still up his sleeve Powers gone unseen before A tangled web he’s sure to weave For chaos still reigns at his core
The time has come to choose his fate And choose he must, before it is too late

Coulson Lives
There’s a lot to be excited for regarding the Loki series, and it goes well beyond the clip we were treated to yesterday.
Thank you, Marvel, on behalf of straight women everywhere.
The beauty of this new show is that with timelines and universes breaking and shifting, anything can happen, and anyone might pop in for a visit.
Please, Lord Feige, let one of those people be Agent Coulson.
We swear, we’re not reaching. This is not a Mephisto situation. The AoS finale set Coulson up perfectly to hop around the Disney+ shows. And what better place for Phil’s new journey to start than with the man who murdered him?
(The first time.)
And come on, these two have plenty to talk about. They could start their own resurrection club. It’s just painful knowing Coulson and Loki both live on without a reunion.
We beg of you, Lord Feige. Just give us Phil Coulson stepping out of the dark corner of an interrogation room one more time.
And, ok, maybe a monologue about mind-altering soap.

Ok, it's confession time. Here goes: We hated the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finale. The final season started out strong enough. We loved seeing the team back in action in all their era-clothing. (Clark Gregg should be legally required to wear a fedora at all times.) And the story was progressing nicely, until about halfway through, when the writers went full Game of Thrones. There's so much to criticize in those final few episodes of what had been a solid, enjoyable show. The most egregious offense was the introduction of Kora, a character so shallow and obnoxious she made us long for Betty Ross in The Incredible Hulk. And Kora is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to women being done dirty in the finale. You deserved so much better, Melinda May. If you want to hear all of our rants on Season 7 of AoS, you can check out the series here:
https://link.chtbl.com/iuv2MgYH Fair warning, though. You'll want to adjust your volume for those later episodes. It got harder & harder to stifle our rage.

WandaVision has so much to say about mental health. We relive Wanda's traumas as she journeys through the stages of grief. We see her gas lit by a nefarious woman who is simultaneously helping, harming, and using Wanda. And we can even view her whole arc as an allegory for dealing with mental illness. And that's the irony of a show that damn near drove us into strait jackets. Who else found themselves watching parts of WandaVision frame by frame? Who among you thought that fucking bunny was Mephisto? Did the nonsensical geography of Westview keep you awake at night? You're not alone. We fell down the rabbit hole too, and we made a pact not to let it happen again. (Who are we kidding, though? Really.) So think of our WandaVision commentary series as a kind of archived support group for those of you also driven insane by this mindfuck of a show. Check it out here: https://link.chtbl.com/iuv2MgYH

A lot of shows are guilty of treating their female characters as nothing more than tools to further the arcs of men. Daredevil is NOT one of those shows. Though Daredevil centers around Matt Murdock, Karen Page actually drives the first season of this incredible series. Played by the brilliant Deborah Ann Woll, Karen is one of the strongest women you will find on screen. With her keen intelligence and undaunting courage, Karen truly leads the charge to take down Wilson Fisk. Indeed, Season 1 of Daredevil can be viewed as a testament to the power of women. What are your favorite Karen Page moments? You can hear plenty of ours on our full commentary series on Daredevil Season 1 here:

When we hear the name Steve Rogers, our brains can't help themselves. We immediately picture the Adonis known as Chris Evans. But technically, the Steve Rogers we know spent most of his waking life as a tiny, sickly guy who relied on his best friend for protection. It's impossible for healthy people to understand how jarring Steve's serum transformation would have been. But those of who live with chronic illness understand just how terrifying and confusing this massive change would be, as well as the learning curve it would entail. Marvel announced a major commitment to diversity and representation following the Infinity Saga. And from what we've seen thus far on WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Kevin Feige is gradually fulfilling those promises. Still, I can't help but wonder if disabled people will be ignored, as they often are on screen. Imagine a world where Marvel made a Disney+ series focusing on the trauma of Steve's transition from chronically ill boy to super soldier...
