Friendship...

When I say I want to get to know you. I don't mean your favorite color, food, and your middle name. I want to know those, yes, but I mean, tell me about the time you broke your arm learning to ride a bike. Tell me the nightmares you have, the struggles you've dealt with if you ever feel alone. Tell me if there's a voice in your head that tells you, "you're not good enough." 

Tell me your secrets, your thoughts, about your childhood, why you got that tattoo on your arm. Tell me about your first love and heartbreak. I want to know everything I won't settle for less.

Because if I get to know you, I want this friendship to last. If I'm friends with you, our friendship is for a reason.

What is a relationship?

Every relationship will get "boring" after years being together. Love isn't only a feeling, it's a commitment. A commitment to each other every day, physically and emotionally. I know, it will be hard and sometime it's not always sunny. Some people will quit when it's not fun anymore, they will start looking for someone else, just because " the butterfilies are gone".

No, this is not how relationships work. You want to have someone who is on your side, who will never give up on you, and who will love you because you are different. You have to do the same. Be the change. Life... love isn't what you see on TV, it's not real.

Love someone who doesn't want to be loved. Who aren't easy to deal with. Who are hard to love... and that ladies & gentlemen is the realist thing out there.

Who I am

I will come running when you call for the smallest thing but when I need you, you know where to be found. I don’t sleep to make sure you’re okay but yet you won't make time for me in your day.

We talk when you feel like talking then I will be ignored. I overthink about if you just got bored. You will push me away knowing that I will come back when you need me. But unfortunately one of these days I will be gone for good.

My Silence...

When I am silence that means I am tired of fighting & now there is nothing to fight for. My silence means i am tired of explaining my feeling to everyone & now I don’t have the energy to explain them anymore.

My silence means that I accepted that change in my life and I don’t want to complain. My silence means I am on a self-healing process & I am trying to forget everything. My silence means I am trying to move on.

I am grateful...

I am grateful when I eat fresh fruit when I break out in laughter when I discover a new song when I finish a good book when I wake up early. I’m grateful to have family, friends, a home, food when I’m hungry, hot water when I need to shower. I love being able to live and see the seasons change, to have gifts on my birthday, to travel sometimes, to have a good education and great access to culture. I’m flattered when people compliment me when people smile at me when people are polite to me. There are so many things that make life so simple and easy and I will always think about them more than all the bad things that happened to me. I do not have time to be sad every day and ungrateful; I have every reason in the world to be happy.

Joy & Happiness

Make my life all about joy & happiness. I celebrate all my big and my small wins. I grow every day, learning new things. Excited for my morning coffee. I enjoy my commute, the walk, the people. Giving hugs when I can, and complimenting others. Getting inspired. Cherish who I am. I go outside and try to spend time in nature. Take risks. Making art. Watching the sunrise & the sunset. Because life is too short & fragile to not live it with joy & happiness.

Myself

I’m being kind to myself throughout my journey. Letting myself feel everything I need to feel. Say what I need to say. I’m tired of hiding who I am and who I am meant to be. I started to follow my curiosities. I’m trying to be bad at something new. I’m chasing a life that I really want. Going for it even if there is only a small chance of it working out. I’m not going to worry about how I think I should be., there is no time for that anymore. I have time to be the real me.

I want you. I want to come back home to you after a bad day of work. I want to roll to you in the middle of the night and wake up next to in the morning. Go on late-night runs with you for food because we just want to get out of the house. You’re the one I want to take on cute dates like to the zoo, the aquariums, amusement parks or to an early morning breakfast before we go our separate ways for the day. We will go on fun adventures, like a day at the lake, hiking in the woods, or a late-night walk. I want to stay home with you for the night, watching movies and eating our favorite foods. I want to be happy with you. I want to be with you through the good days and the bad days. It’s you.

No one can decide who are you except you. No one can tell you how capable you are or who you are met to be. People are going to give their opinions like they know everything and you don’t. They look at the world in a different lens.

Being okay/fine/good enough. Art. People who call you because no one ever calls these days, their just texting. Clear skies that remind you of all the possibilities in life. The songs that you listen to when you were younger. Vintage old things. Days like these. Moments like these. Hope. Love. Kindness.

I’m just me...

I’m not perfect, I’m me. I’ve made bad decisions and the right choices, but I’m me. I don’t like everything I’ve done, but I did it because I’m me. I’ve loved the wrong people and trusted the wrong people and I’m still me.

If I had a chance to start over. I wouldn’t change a thing. Why? Because I’m me. There are a lot of good things about me. You need to look at the imperfections of the past. If you can’t see that then your loss.

The Type Girl...

I am a girl who has a few best friends. A girl who laughs so hard at her own jokes. A girl who doesn’t expects too much. I say I don’t care what anyone thinks, but does care deeply. I’m a girl who’s nice to everyone. I’m the girl that will hang up on you and call you back and say “I’m sorry that I hang up on you”. I’m that type of girl who will put all her trust in you until you give me a reason not to. I’m the girl who will never leave your side when you need me the most. I’m the girl who will go out of her way to cheer you up. The girl who says that I’m not ticklish, but I really am. The girl who will never give up on you, if she really believes in you. I’m the girl type of girl who believes in LOVE.

Stop Worrying.

We have to stop getting angry at things that aren’t worth our energy we put into staying angry.

Take a shower, maybe take ten showers.

We can stay in bed and do “nothing!” Watch cheesy romance movies or cry your heart out.

We can stay outside all day.

Try waking up in the morning with the determination to fall in love with your city all over again. Go find quiet cafes and independent book stores that you have never been to before.

Act like you’re a tourist and take pictures. Stay out all night.

Do things. Take care of yourself.

I’ve been thinking...

I’ve been thinking lately about who I want to love, and how I want to love and why I want to love in this way and who I need to become to be that kind of love. I want to break it in parts, I will make it into a single breath, it will come out like: I want to be someone’s secret place to hide, a place where that they can put everything they know to survive, their every secret, every nervous payer, I’ll make sure it will be safe.

Nature

The ocean air, hidden waterfalls, and nature is taking its course. Falling asleep underneath the stars. Listening to people talking about their adventures. Being open, being free, being passionate, being more than happy. Morning markets and home-made food. Crazy moments, daisy chains, polaroids. The moment you step outside in the morning and the air seems fresher and crisp. Endless possibilities and rediscovering myself. Remembering wearing my favorite sweater in the middle of winter.

I’m the kind of girl...

I’m the girl who is quiet in large groups or around people I don’t know; you will only see the real me when or if we are close. I will smile and laugh a lot, then at the most inappropriate times. I’m almost a hopeless romantic.

I am the hardest person to offend, but it's easy then to make me feel horrible. I hate telling people about my problems. No need to worry about me.

I will be the one who will listen to other people’s problems. I feel that we shouldn’t be judging other people before taking the time to really get to know them, yet I feel guilty of doing the same thing.

I love to think not to talk, I may be awkward, clumsy, shy, quiet, strange... but that is who I am. Take it or leave it.
