Types of music the riordanverse protagonists listen to (unfortunately this will exclude the trials of apollo)

Percy: he definitely listens to alt rock/ early 2000s’ “emo” (stuff like panic at the disco, Green Day, paramore, linkin park, fall out boy,) and after a while he starts listening to indie music

Magnus: he’d listen to pop from the late 2000s’ (Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Rhianna, etc)

Carter: tbh he’d be used to classical and jazz, so he never really attempted changing his taste, until one day he got bored and started browsing music. He started listening to alt indie (Tyler the creator, 100 gecs, MXMTOON, Frank Ocean, He started listening to Mother Mother)

Sadie: Lots of pop (90s, 00’s’, 10’, 20���, most types), She listens to P!ATD too!

i think demigods should have more weird traits that link them to their godly parents aside from just their powers so here we go:

children of zeus/jupiter are really light. like no matter how they look they weight about half of what you would think. leo could pick jason up if he tried. it helps them fly better.

children of nike can always predict which team is going to win when they watch a sports game. they’re no fun to watch those with. maybe they do that thing where people bet on racehorses and they’re always right

children of hades/pluto are really short so they can be closer to the ground. they can also see in the dark really well

children of hephaestus are immune to tetanus so they don’t have to worry about getting cut by sharp metal. also they all naturally have higher body temperatures so they can handle heat better than other demigods

children of aphrodite/venus are the best gift givers because if they’re shopping with someone specific in mind and they see something that person would love they can just sense it

children of ares/mars can take one look at a person and immediately know for sure whether they could or couldn’t beat them in a fight. this way they know which fights to walk away from. however sometimes they don’t care and go for it anyway lmao

children of hermes never get caught. it’s partly why they can pull off so many pranks. even if they’re not being subtle or trying that hard to get away, nobody seems to notice what they’re up to until it’s too late (if you wanna turn this dark it’s part of the reason luke was able to get away with being a creep for so long <3)

children of apollo are all extremely tall (most are 6ft or taller) to be closer to the sun. like hephaestus kids, they have naturally high body temperatures but instead of being more heat resistant, they just don’t get cold very easily. also, most of them have seasonal affective disorder.

children of demeter are immune to poisonous plants. they can eat toxic berries with no side effects, poison ivy doesn’t do anything to them, etc.

children of poseidon need to eat more salt than the average person because you know. salt water. this didn’t really make sense but i needed something
