Hot Take: we need to start leaving kids behind. What I mean is, children should not be allowed to move to the next grade if they’re unable to what is required. That’s why we now have 3rd graders who can’t read and 5th graders unable to write a single page essay.

All this ‘no child left behind’ shit really is a disservice, why set a child up to fail by moving them up a grade when they can’t even finish the current one? People talk about ‘oh but the kid who is left behind will feel bad and have low self esteem,’ not if if you shun them. If you tell a kid he just needs more time to understand the concepts then you’re fine. If they feel bad then maybe it’s you.

Anyway, school is not daycare where kids go to play and talk. They’re here to learn how to do the most basic of human activities like reading comprehension, simple math, and being able to come up with their own ideas! Kids can’t even think for themselves. This is the worst timeline

the right tries to stop people from being together, platonic or romantic. Love will always win. You can take away my right I marry but I’ll still do it. Rome couldn’t stop its soldiers from getting married by St Valentine himself! Humans beings are literally built to love, two arms to hold each other and press our hearts together. We are meant to laugh and play. We are meant to be a community, a family. You should want me to succeed just as much as I want you to succeed. When did we forget what it was like to care for each other like people?

Honestly, it feels like people are way too eager to hate things, especially when it comes to Vivzzie. Like it’s insane, just say you don’t like it and move on. What’s the point of continuing watching her content just to be negative. Who wins? You just look dumb.

Another thing is that people keep trying to hold everything to such a high standard. And that isn’t fair, media is meant to be enjoyed at the very minimum. I love listening to MGK, not because I think his music is groundbreaking or poetic, it’s just FUN. Media doesn’t need to be revolutionary to be enjoyable. Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are not trying to be the next Persepolis. Shit is meant to be fun. We don’t need to dunk on people because they like something you think sucks. I hate techno music, I think it’s boring, am I going to scream at every person who loves raves and dubstep? No, I’m not an asshole, I just listen to my own music and when the homies wanna play their stuff, i suck it up like an adult. Life is too short to not be enjoyed and people are too eager to be a buzzkill and ruin other people’s fun because something doesn’t live up to your ridiculous standards. Honestly, just shut up. I don’t need to hear why you hate it, I don’t care. Find a fucking hobby!
