Ive reached the point now where my partners family can see that im autistic. Its funny af.

Cuz you gotta understand, these motherfuckers are irreverent as fuck. They say retarded like its the 90's. They have standards though. They wont say cunt, the N word and the C word, or make fun of actually autistic or disabled people about their disabilities... Calling a non autistic person autistic tho is also fair game.

So when i was first going to family events i inevitably got the "stop being retarded. What are you autistic??".... O_o yes, yes i am. They got horrified.

But i joke about it myself OFTEN. cuz if you know you know. I just accept that i do dumbass shit or cant handle overstimulation or dont get certain jokes cuz im being too literal and so now its a funny game to them to A. Progressively expand my social abilities through trial by fire and B. See how long until i finally bite back/give as good as im getting... And i appreciate that. Its helped me to find a middle ground between what they are and where i was (aka chronically online and insufferably exhausting to everyone around me)

Idk, by the time they got to Jack and the Bunker Sam was... Insufferable. He would have 100% started to say "hey Jack, so, i know you love the flowers and theyre great, dont get me wrong, but im pretty allergic so if you could put that outside?" And Dean woulda had to strong arm him into the next room and lecture him and Sam woulda done some "but they really bother me" and Dean woulda "so take a Claritin and go in another room Sammy, you are not breaking that kids heart." Amd sam woulda grumped out of there acting like he doesn't do that and yeah sure this time maybe its legitimate but most times its him being an ass.

Meanwhile cass is in the kitchen with Jack being all "its... Complicated. They have a difficult relationship" amd then jack doing the "arent they brothers? I thought brothers always get along" blank faced puppy dog thing.

My point is sams an ass and wouldn't be this considerate of others.

Today, Jack brings a bouquet of wild flowers inside to bring some brightness into the bunker. They clean out an old empty liquor bottle to act as a vase and they sit it out in the library as decor. When Sam finds the new centerpiece at the table where he was intending on reading a book, he decided to let Jack have this moment to be proud of their creation, complimenting them on the arrangement before promptly moving to sit on the other side of the room to avoid the pollen.

my most autistic time of day, no matter how hard i try, is probably between the hours of midnight and 4am.

i unwind, i find myself, i even do the flappy hands.

but, most importantly, i draw the lines. its like lining up toys but the adult version. i literally spend hours designing floor plans and refining them, for keeps, castles, hovels and houses.

and the more i set those into order the more my mind becomes ordered.

That is all middle ground though. Its insane when ppl try to sell republican values as centrist. The central neutral point should be all basic needs taken care of. We shouldn't have to worry about shelter food healthcare. We should all have free time and not have to work more than 30hrs a week atp. That is the basic middle of everything view.

Ive been told i must pay the cat tax and so, here it is:

This is from before surgery. She is in her favorite box with her favorite blankie.

watching my kitten sleep under my feet. she had eye surgery about... idk, 4? days ago. it was wednesday, this is early early sunday, so... yeah 4ish days.

anyways, she is sleeping under my feet in her favourite box on her favourite blanket with her new? favourite? donut (Elizabethan collar cone) and looks like a mariah elizabeth character.

shes been acting very... protective. of herself. and its been interesting.

i like watching animals recover from an injury, just because i like comparing it to how humans do. we do the same things but... slightly different. like, she has been recovering under my desk, in my husbands and my room by our bed 'under' as much as possible, at least hemmed in and with a clear exit, under my kids bed, and under the coffee table. she went for places that she knew and went too when scared. we do the same. we tend to go to the couch, our bed, and our media area if we have one, like a gaming station or such.

its been also interesting to see which of us she considers to be safe. my kid, her person, she wants, but you can tell that she does not see them as capable of protection. instead she comes to me, and sometimes my partner. like, we knew that she saw us as the parents, clearly, but this is something more. she truly sees my kid as equally as vulnerable as herself. our other cat NEVER had that dynamic. he was instantly my partners cat, and clearly sees himself as more capable than the child.

im... im enjoying this too, knowing that my kids cat sees me as both her and my childs protectors. there have been other instances that made me wonder, but this has solidified it. if my kid was hurt, for example, she would come by and alert me.

second thing ive learned is that this cat likes to wear clothes maybe? she gets mad if we take off the donut and will willingly put her head through the hole and wait for use to secure it. and now instead of looking ridiculous she literally prances around. so... theres that.

I am JUST trying to write in a slightly more formal old old-fashioned grammatical fashion. LEAVE ME ALONE WORD GRAMMAR SUGGESTIONS. especially since you are often WRONG, even for modern grammar. i swear... no I did not mean the present tense of that word, since the sentence structure is clearly about something that happened IN THE PAST. and when I say ignore it (cuz you're wrong) I do not mean "bug me about it later". FUCK ALL THE WAY OFF.

Like when i have a sentence that states that "the party then moved into the prison proper" stop trying to make me say "properly". and when I say "tensed" instead of "tensed up" LEAVE IT ALONE.

the dumb thing is, i used to remember word getting turns of phrases and colloquialisms when I was a kid and teen, and even young adult. it was what I liked about them over some other writing programs. in fact it was why I liked them over google docs.

but now? now they have "upgraded" their system to dumb as fuck. software was smarter before they bimbofied it as AI. like "oooh look you get less than what you paid for before but now its all "newwww" and SHIIIINNNNYYYYYY!!!" "its AI!!!" *insert sarcastic jazz hands here*
