SHORT THEORY ABOUT THE KNIGHT AND CAROL'S MOTIVES

so ive been thinking quite a bit about dess' disappearence and the theory that shes the knight right?

for some people carol is the knight but for me it doesnt make any sense. to me carol is working with the knight, she pretty much knows about the profecy because shes very ressistant with susie knowing about the bunker, and we already established that susie will be the key to break it.

but why would she be working to fulfill the profecy? what does she gain out of it? what does it have to do with dess? and how is dess the knight in the first place?

what happened in the shelter to both dess and kris is everything we need to know to solve this i think. because, we know kris has been inside, and something is bothering them from their past, something about "killing each other" or whatever the egg room in ch4 said.

what if

the knight will gain their original self once the profecy is fulfilled? what if the profecy is what makes dess come back? what if, whatever happened in the shelter HAS to do with dess becoming a part of it? what if it was kris' fault that she became the knight, thus making them responsible to make sure the plan went perfectly?

what if the knight is not necessarily dess, but some twisted version of herself? what if her mind is not there, but her body is? what if there was something or someone controlling her, just like kris with the player?

what im saying is, and HEAR ME OUT IM NOT CRAZY. what if the voice we hear in the code, yk the one that is speaking about how dark is in there, IS the real dess? like, dess' mind at least.

but then, who is controlling her body?

or friend however you want to call it, and i think they just DONT know it yet, they think that is another version of her

maybe i am crazy and is not necessarily mike, i drew the relation cuz that thing is really weird and mysterious and i dont have anyone in mind, BUTTTTT i firmly believe the rest COULD have some potencial

if this isnt debunked by actual theorist i personally wanna call it the double-dess knight theory just for the funsies
