We are excited to announce that Writer and Beta signups are open for the Malevolent Big Bang 2025! 

Before filling out the signup form below, please review our rules, FAQ, and schedule to ensure that you are able to meet the event requirements. (This is an 18+ event where writers are asked to complete the first draft of a fanfiction at least 5,000 words long over a two-month period.) If you have any additional questions, send us an ask!

The writer signup form will remain open until 11:59 PM EST May 11th. The beta signup form will remain open until 11:59 PM EST July 27th.

If you are interested in participating as both a writer and a beta reader, please fill out both forms.

Once you submit your signup form, you will be sent an email with an invitation to the event Discord server within 24 hours. If you are already in the event Discord, you will still receive this email, but you do not have to leave and rejoin the server – simply reintroduce yourself in the intros channel after you have submitted your signup form. We ask that all participants join the server for the duration of the event, though we will be sending out all important event information via email as well as via the Discord server. If you do not receive an email, please send us an ask or email malevolentbigbang@gmail.com.

Will you ever draw more ghost wax?

I stopped listening to Ghost Wax around last year? I think? I stopped after listening to the VHS store episode, as I was slowly getting taken over again by the Malevolent Symbiote once more. I think it'd be fun to draw more Ghost Wax once I start it back up again!!! Rn, I'm making BTS fanart, though. Perhaps sometime in the future!!

That was in February??? It feels like months back I worked on that!!

Unfortunately, I've been far too busy to continue working on that project, coupled with my waning Malevolent hyperfixation ): . I've been unable to work on --- let alone finish --- any artwork I've set to make recently; I'm in a sort of slump. I've made page sketches up to the latter half of the King in Yellow confrontation, but I don't think I'll post those because I'd rather not post not even half-finished thumbnails for all to see.

Also, I've been trying to make a career out of my joy for writing lately; so it might be a bit before I post artwork. Not that I'll never continue art, I'm just focusing my creative drive on storytelling for the time being. What art I am working on right now is for @/ magnusforgaza .

Also, I don't mind asks at all --- I love it when I get inbox notifs, don't worry!
