I feel like I

speak for the entire fandom when I say that I have very mixed feelings about Infinity War. This goddamn movie, man- it’s killing the whole fandom, slowly but surely. This whole slow release of trailers, gentle hinting at deaths- it”s just a huge to build up to the film that will make or break everything. Loki, Steve, Tony, this whole universe could come crashing down.

I really hate this movie. I really, really hate this movie, because these characters mean so much to me and they’re finally all getting incredible character development, and all coming together. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted, but it comes with so much pain. I hate this movie, but I love it so much.

And the saddest part is that I have’NT EVEN SEEN IT YET.

I UNDERSTAND THAT

the hand Tony is clutching (looking utterly BRokeN HearTEd) in the Infinity War trailer could be his own, but what if it’s someone else’s?

Imagine if it belonged to Steve. Imagine that the battle that finally kills the invincible Steve Rogers occurs just after they meet for the first time post-Civil War. What if they met, and they forgive? Steve apologises to Tony for lying about his parents deATHS (like, really, Steeb?) and they agree to fight together, even if it is for one last time. Or even worse: Tony and Steve have no chance to forgive or to even talk (seriously, fuck the Marvel directors), and Tony is left blaming himself- if only he had spoken to Steve, if only he had stayed by his side, fought with him properly, maybe he could have saved him.

Peter’s? (I know, but imagine Tony thinks he's dead) Imagine that Tony thinks as he fights alongside this kid- this kid who hE dragged into this war. Barely old enough to fight in it, he thinks- but is anyone ready to fight in a war? He remembers making Peter an Avenger, because he saw such potential- one day, he believed, that kid would be better than him, better than them all, and he would save the world. He's given this boy a responsibility far too great for any teenager, with such a bright future- and now because of him, he thinks, that future, that life, has been stolen from him.

Pepper’s. One of the only people Tony is truly close to, that Tony trusts anymore after Obi and Steve, who Tony loves the most in the world (besides Rhodey, of course, but he’s a given). The person Tony has fought desperately to keep alive in the past, to keep happy, even at the price of his own happiness. Who Tony, the self-sacrificing bastard, would give anything in the world to keep safe. The guilt Tony feels for the people who he could not save in the past was enough, but to not be able to protect Pepper Potts? It would destroy Tony, completely and utterly.

The most tragic part, however, would be Tony, regardless of whose hand he is holding, rising from the ground, cut and bruised. His suit is torn and hardly operational, but he raises his head, strides into the battle, and gives it all he has, because this time, Tony has nothing left to lose.

At least, if he goes down fighting, the guilt from his weary shoulders could finally be lifted.

OK, soooo Like in all the Avengers infinity war, trailers and tv spots, we have like only seen Loki in like one scene/place, so does that mean that hes only in a few scenes or is that like where hes going to die? (If he dies). Cause like he looks so sad and stuff.
