THE LAST CHAPTER IS HERE. Actually, I finished it months ago but I forgot or had problems posting it. And then Christmas came and we hosted a huge party at our house. Next was New Year’s. And then back to work, so it’s been busy, but here is the chapter for this short series. And for those of you who enjoy my writing, I am writing a Rengoku x Reader x Tengen fic that’s just about complete. I’m going to post all the chapters at once on Ao3. It’s gone be smutty, so yeah, come and have a read! I go as “starmufasa”. It’s not there YET but soon. I had to take multiple breaks cause I can’t believe the nastiness I wrote. Anyways, enjoy! I might not post on Tumblr much due to me writing these in Google Doc. They’re not transferring well so this will be the last for some time. - - - - - - - - -                                                 Chapter VII: Eternity is on Our Side Those two years together were beautiful. You reminisced over the amazing wedding - the ceremony and reception being more than you could dream of. Not only that, Rengoku had an empty home ready to be decorated however you wanted and he got you your dream job, teaching English abroad. Life is good. Life is great! “Uh! Don’t kick so much!” You fussed as you stood upright, with the help of the family maid. She aided you in cooking, cleaning, and everyday activities to keep you limber as you carried his twins. The surprise and wonder spread on his face when he heard the news, and because of this, you weren’t able to travel to work once your stomach grew twice in size, but you couldn’t be at home doing nothing until it was time to give birth, so you and the maid, Sumi, taught each other how to say certain words in English and Japanese. Ding. Dong. “Tadaima!” Rengoku announced as he stepped through the door, setting his suitcase aside as he slipped off his shoes, running through the halls to find you only to slip and slide on the floor Sumi just cleaned. “Hashiranaide!” (Don’t run!) “Gomen nasai, Sumi-san!” Rengoku got to his feet, bowing before continuing a strong stride towards you. He gently gathered your face in his hands, pressing his head against yours, taking in the moment before he littered your face with kisses. “How is my wonderful wife doing?” “I’d be better if I could eat fish, stand on my feet without them hurting, and without your two sons kicking all over my organs. Otherwise, I’m doing fine. How was work, baby?” “Energetic and fun as always! But I couldn’t wait to come home to you and my sons!” He knelt down so he could nuzzle his face along your stomach, hoping to feel them kick or punch. “I’m grateful that you’re carrying our children,” he moved back so he could look at you, the smile evident in his vermillion eyes, “I’ll make sure to take care of you, and that you’ll never have a need for anything because you won’t be without it.” You felt your cheeks warm up. “You prove that to me every week.” “I mean it! You’re everything to me, my Sunflower.” “And you’re everything to me, too. Now tell your sons to stop ruining my insides!” You hissed at your husband playfully. “And where are the--” “_____-san!” “Tanjiro! Zenitsu! Inosuke! Nezuko! Welcome!” “My dear _____-chan! What has he done to you!?” Zenitsu wailed upon seeing your super bloated stomach. “Is there something delicious inside? Can we eat it?” Inosuke asked as he stared at your stomach in hungry wonder. “No, you idiot! You can’t eat babies!” Zenitsu scolded Inosuke. "Rengoku-san couldn’t wait to see you so he took off in a strong sprint. It’s lucky that we’ve been to your house with you before.” Tanjiro, the sweetest boy, was bright, kind, and positive. He has been helpful to you ever since you started at Kimetsu Academy. His parents loved how close he was to you and Rengoku that they even let him spend some weekends with you two. Nezuko, the caring girl, was Tanjiro’s little sister. She was always by his side so it was only right to have her come along, too. Though she is still working on her English, she’s taught you many helpful Japanese phrases when you guys went shopping. Zenitsu, lover boy fanatic, was smart for being such a crybaby. He knew much about the Western world and had a dream to become a language interpreter. He’s currently crazy over Nezuko much to Tanjiro’s dismay. He has time to mature more. Last, but certainly not least, is the wild child, Inosuke. He’s like a feral boy, as if raised by wild boars in the countryside. He’s loud, rambunctious, and interesting. You love his inquiries and wild statements as they always made you laugh. “I’m so glad that you all came over! We’re going to have a special meal tomorrow. Can you guys guess what it could be?” “Tonkatsu!” You shook your head no. “Okonomiyaki!” “Iie!” (No!) “Shabu Shabu!” “Mou ichido!” (One more time!) “Ramen!” You shook your head no for the fourth time. “I’ll let Kyojuro tell you.” “Yama kujira!” The four of them all gasped in surprise. “My mother said that it’s a sign of prosperity and fertility when one roams up to your home, especially with a pregnant wife!” “Meaning that we have a good life ahead of us, and our children, too. And so, we wanted you all to join us tomorrow for a feast. So, what do you say?” They all cheered and chatted at how amazing of a time they were going to have at the Rengoku house. Seeing the smiles on their faces really made your day. “Hmm? Aren’t we missing one more person?” “Oh, right! Senjuro!” Just as Rengoku was about to call his little brother on the phone, he heard footsteps coming from down the hall. A smile lit up Rengoku’s face as he saw Senjuro sliding across the room. “Hashiranaide!” Sumi yelled again. “Gomen nasai, Sumi-san!” Like big brother like little brother. “Onii-chan!” Senjuro jumped into his big brother’s arms, holding him tight. “I’ve missed you so much!” “So have I! I’m surprised Father’s letting you spend the weekend with us!” “Mother convinced him that it’d be a good idea to let me stay over for the weekend. Isn’t that great?” “Yes, it is, Senjuro!” “_____-chan!” He hopped down and came over to you, gently wrapping his arms around you and your swollen stomach. You ran your hand through his hair. “Are you ready to be an uncle?” Senjuro nodded knowingly with his eyes sparkling bright. “Yes!” “I’m glad you’re excited. Me? Not so much. When they’re born, I’m going to sleep for the rest of the month.” “And you’ll deserve every last day until you’re feeling better!” Rengoku chimed in. You couldn’t help but laugh. You really loved this man, with all of your heart. “Alright, everyone, get your books out! Let me see what you all have been working on.” Your smile reached from ear to ear as you turned to Rengoku and gently pecked his lips. “What would I do without you, Kyojuro?” This beautiful soul of a man was all smiles as he kissed you back, shouting “I love you!” loud and proud. - - - - - - - - - - Chapters: 1 (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3) / 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

Aaaaand I’m back with another chapter! Chapter VI is finally here! I’m happy that I made it this far with the story. So, just to let it be known, the last chapter will be short and sweet, to end this lovely ride of a short fic. I’ve other ones to finish and write afterwards. I’m planning a special one for the month so long as I have the time to do it. It’s gonna be a smut scene that I’ve been thinking about writing ALL week. Anyways, please enjoy!
- - - - - - - - -
                                                      Chapter VI: Pick a Side
Rengoku’s visit has been nothing but a game changer for you. It solidified your standing with him, and now with the red, titanium ring on your finger, it was getting as real as it was getting.
You listened to no one but him and your heart.
Every moment spent with him that week after Christmas came was nothing but magical. You both went out to Korean BBQ, karaoke, bowling, ice skating (he looked good sliding across the ice while you skirted here and there), watched movies at his place, and cuddled a lot.
The only thing he’d let you buy with your money were groceries, since you didn’t want to tell him what you were going to make while he was visiting. Anything else you both did, Rengoku footed the bill without hesitation. He was a man’s man. A man that took care of his woman no matter the circumstance.
So, call you surprised when your dad reached out to you Friday evening, asking, “Hey, baby, how’re you doing over there?”
“I’m doing good. My fiancé and I are getting ready for a night inside. What’s up?” You put him on speaker.
“I talked it over with your mother and we’d like to have him come over so we can get to know him a little more face to face. How does that sound?”
“Let me ask him, hold on. Kyo-kun,” you sweetly cooed for his attention though he was already attached to you from behind with his face buried in your hair, “Dou omoimasu ka?” (What do you think?)
“Kono shuumatsu wa itsu kara itsu made?” (This weekend from when to when?)
“How long can he stay?”
“Your mother’s playing nice this time so he’s allowed to spend the night. Just one though! And in separate rooms.” You groaned. “Her rule, not mine, _____.” He laughed. “So, what does he think? Will he come?”
“Doyoubi kara nichiyoubi made desu yo!” (From Saturday to Sunday!)
“Eh!? Hitoban taizai suru koto ga dekimasu ka!? Hontou ni desu ka!?” (Eh!? I can stay the whole night!? Really!?)
“Hontou ni dekimasu yo!” (You really can!)
“Kare to hanashi wo sasete kudasai!” (Please let me speak to him!) You held the phone up to his face, letting him answer for himself. “Mr. _____, I’d be honored to be a guest in you and your wife’s home! I will abide by any rules made, be respectful, and be on my best behavior.”
“Ha ha, that’s reassuring to hear, Kyōjurō. Well, let me not hold you two up. We’ll be waiting for you two tomorrow. Let us know when you’re coming.”
“Alright, bye Dad! Love you!”
“Love you, too. We’ll talk later.” Your father hung up the phone with a smile on his face. Even though he didn’t have a clue on what you two talked about, it made him happy to hear you, his daughter, sound so happy and enthusiastic when he was around you. Rengoku was a dream come true, a man that treated you right. Honestly, he couldn’t wait until you have a grandchild that he could show off to the world like he did with you. “My baby’s really growing up.”
                ( space )
“Are you ready, my love?”
‘Why isn’t he having a hard time? I’m getting anxious and goosebumps all over!’ You’ve been feeling nervous about this meet and greet since yesterday. Since fucking Friday evening when your dad called.
Rengoku was all gung-ho about this meet-up! Like, absolutely ecstatic as he was this much closer to being your husband.
“You must be nervous!” He got out of the Tesla and came to your side, his hand taking yours. “I’ll be right there beside you. Take a couple deep breaths.”
‘Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out.’
You took in one final breath as you got out the Tesla and followed him to the door. “Well, look who finally made it!” Your father opened the door, having expected yours and Rengoku’s arrival. “Welcome home, baby.”
“Thanks, Dad.”
“You, too, Kyojuro.”
“Thank you, Mr. _____!”
“Please, just call me your second dad.”
“Really?”
Your dad nodded. “We’re damn near family already.” He chuckled. “You’re like the son I never had. That’s a good feeling.”
Rengoku’s face suddenly brightened, his smile somehow illuminating the room when your father accepted him with open arms. He was so elated that he embraced your dad in a tight squeeze. “That means so much to me!”
“Glad for it, but your grip, son, it’s,” he coughed, “Tight.”
“Oh, my apologies!”
“Don’t worry about it. Now, come on inside. The food is ready. I heard you got quite the appetite on you, Kyōjurō.”
Your mother was there, watching from the sidelines. She hadn’t spoken a word. She merely watched him from a distance, sizing him up with every utterance and step he made. She never felt anyone you found to be worthy of her approval, worthy of you, but that night, you completely rejected her idea and ran off with a man she had just physically seen in person.
This wasn’t just some man you clung to, no. You had spoken vows with this man, ones that you stood on that you dared a bold confrontation with your own mother. She wanted to be sure that this was more than puppy love, that she wouldn’t be sending you off with the wrong man.
Her skepticism had nowhere to be placed as Rengoku proved himself honest and trusting despite your outward actions. Like the both of you were attached to the hip, inseparable the moment you two crossed each other’s path.
You felt awkward in this situation, but Rengoku quietly took note of the way your mother gazed at you two, especially him. He had never been in this position before, but he was for certain not going to fuck it up. Rengoku refused to give up the life he wanted to create with you, the life that the two of you didn’t have together.
Pieces of those dreams reared their ugly heads when you returned home, and it worried him every single day that he’d wake up and you wouldn’t answer his calls anymore. That you’d disappear out of his life forever. That you’d be gone.
“Doushita no?” (What’s wrong?) Your hand wiggled in his hands, held tight.
“Gomen nasai!” (I’m sorry!) He loosened his grip as he brought your hand up to his lips, kissing on top of your knuckles softly. “Zutto anata no koto wo kangaeteru yo!” (I’ve been thinking about you!)
“Aww! How sweet. Think about me when you go back to Japan.”
“I will! Every day!” He met your gaze. “Will you think about me every day, too?”
You cupped his cheeks, laughing, “How silly of you to ask that.”
It was hard to tell what you two went on about, like you both were in your own little world. Nothing else mattered outside of the two of you, and your dad saw it. Your mother was the one still adjusting to your relationship with this man. She didn’t want to believe it was there, but his eyes never lied.
“You recognize that look, don’t you, honey?” Your father asked as he went to stand by her side, observing the intimate interaction. “We used to be like that when we first met.”
“Yes, but they're too young to get married.” Your mother commented as you both walked into the kitchen to get some food and as you both chatted away rather loudly. “And she’ll be so far away from us.”
“Seems like she’ll be in good hands.”
“How would we really know?”
“You see it,” he rested a hand on her back, comforting her, “Whether you want to or not. That one right there. That’s not just any man.”
To your mother’s chagrin, she hadn’t yet found a good way to break you two apart. She didn’t want you to go off so far away and never come back, but expressing such concern for her child, for you, would be too much. Maybe even a sense of weakness, something that she doesn’t like to feel.
Your father wasn’t making anything better as he actually agreed with this arrangement. She only had one chance now. One that could make or break this evening. It was a far reach, but it was one she was really to go behind everyone’s back for.
With Ray, she knew him. She knew his family. He was good company during the holidays and on trips. The family loved him overall and it was something that your mother favored most about him. He was safe, he was familiar.
That’s why the ring at the doorbell had you turning, surprised and in fear. A melody Ray always played when he had arrived. Your reaction garnered Rengoku’s attention. He set his plate down and pulled you in close, rubbing his hands up and down your back. “Daijoubu, boku ga tsuiteru yo.” (It’s okay, I’m here with you.) He murmured into your hair as he comforted you.
“I wonder who that could be…” Your father sighed frustratedly.
You watched with horror as your father opened the door, revealing the last person you didn’t think about seeing after you left the other night. If you could bury any deeper into Rengoku’s chest, you’d leave not a trace in sight for Ray to catch.
“Good evening, Mrs. _____, Mr. _____.” Ray glanced your way. “And you, too, _____.” His eyes rose to Rengoku last. “And I guess you, too.”
“What are you doing here, Ray? It’s supposed to be just the four of us.”
“Your mother invited me over.” You frowned visibly. “Who am I to say no to her invitation? It’s obvious, isn’t it? You’re meant to be with me. So, tell him to step off and go back home.”
You drew in your bottom lip, holding back what you wanted to say. You couldn’t believe that your mom was really trying to get you back with Ray. Well, you weren’t going back. Not even in the next ten lifetimes.
“You have no respect.” You covered your mouth just as soon as an audible gasp had left between your lips. “Not for me, yourself, and especially for her.” Rengoku’s muscles tensed up. “She wants to feel safe and comfortable. You are a disgrace of a man for making her feel otherwise.”
“Those are some feisty fighting words. You sure you can back them up?”
“If that is the language that will make you understand, then I accept your challenge.”
“You don’t have to, Kyōjurō.”
“Yeah, Kyoooojurō. You don’t.”
Rengoku’s face drew on a dark expression. “In her honor, I shall.”
“Then come outside then. We’ll handle this once and for all.”
Rengoku squeezed you tight before following Ray outside, where some bystanders might see. He stood a few feet away from him, staring him square in the eyes as he began unbuttoning his shirt. The way that your father and your mother’s jaw dropped upon seeing his fine physique was picture worthy. Ray was in shape, but he was nothing compared to the regime Rengoku’s body had gone through.
“Tryna show off?”
Rengoku bared nary a smile as he folded his shirt and set it on the cold ground.
“Be careful with him!”
“He’ll be alright. So serious--” Ray’s chattiness almost got him swept by a clean grab going directly for his neck. He saw every muscle in that arm twitch with a vengeance. It was then that he believed he made a mistake.
Ray was a damn good fighter, but he suddenly felt he didn’t compare from how Rengoku read his every move, anticipating where to strike before Ray could even get good footing in the ground. Ray retaliated with a one-two and a hook, but it looked as if his opponent was moving faster than the eye can see, weaving and tapping Ray whenever he reached forward.
Unfortunately for Ray, as much as the fight had his adrenaline rushing, he took too wide of a swing and was caught, flipped over, and put on his back with a large, calloused hand pressed down on his chest. One close up gaze into those vermillion eyes made Ray feel like he was encroaching on a lion’s den with fangs bared to snap his neck.
Ray wasn’t ready to give up yet as he wrapped his legs around Rengoku’s arm, rolling off and onto the ground, pinning him down. It wasn’t long until both of them scuffled from another and back on their feet. Rengoku left Ray no time to breathe as he attempted catching Ray off guard by grabbing at his neck. He barely blocked that, going in for a kick at his chest.
Your man was focused like back at his in-home dojo. He quickly regained his stance and was out for blood (metaphorically) as he caught Ray slipping. His calloused fingers grasped tight at the front of Ray’s shirt with force as he cocked back his left hand for a hit that never came.
Ray had always fought and won the majority of his battles. However, tonight wasn’t his night as he faced a beast in the arts of fisticuffs, with attacks so strong that the wind sang in his ear. The war was over as quickly as it had begun.
“Alright, alright…” He heaved hard. “You can have her.” He tried pushing Rengoku off of him but he wouldn’t loosen his grip..
“Apologize to her.” If Rengoku’s gaze could kill. “Now.” He leaned in close. “Or you’ll regret coming here to make her sad.”
Ray’s heart missed a beat. Rengoku was serious, frightening. Not the man he had speculated on before. He had a killer look in his eye, one that he hadn’t seen in a long, long time. He could only turn his head to the side as Rengoku released his grip on the front of his shirt. He was fully overpowered and embarrassed in front of your parents, but also in front of you.
“My bad, _____. I… I won’t be around any more. Looks like you got him to look out for ya. Enjoy ya life in rice town.”
Rude, but you had gotten an apology nonetheless. Ray made a quick exit, jumping into his stick-shift Impreza and speeding off into the distance, disappearing out of the neighborhood as quickly as he had come.
“_____-”
“Daijoubu!? Itai desu ka?” (Are you okay!? Are you hurt?)
“Daijoubu desu yo!” (I’m fine!)
“Hontou ni?” (Really?)
“Nn!” Rengoku wrapped his arms around you the moment you were close, embracing you. “Are you okay, Sunflower?” You don’t know why, but when he asked you if you were alright, tears started rolling down your face as you struggled to speak. He said nothing more as he wiped your tears away with his thumbs while also caressing your cheeks in turn.
Your mother was ready to step in, but your father caught her gently by the shoulder. “But--”
“She’s in good hands now.” He looked on at the two of you with a smile widening on his face. “You either accept it, or we lose her forever.”
Your mother couldn’t fathom the thought. You were their only child, and the more she tried to involve herself in your life, the farther you’d distance yourself. She wouldn’t… be able to handle that.
( space )
“Thank you so much for allowing me to stay the night!” Your gracious and grateful fiancé deeply bowed to your parents. “I shall remain in my room for the remainder of the night!”
“I’m sure you will!” Your father laughed heartily. “What you did today was impressive. I’ve no doubt that you’ll treat and protect our daughter well.”
“You have my word, my second dad!” He was working on the honorifics, but it was the thought that counted. “Goodnight to you as well, my second mom!” When he turned to you, he couldn’t help but smile. “Oyasumi nasai, boku no himawari.” (Goodnight, my Sunflower.)
“Oyasumi nasai, watashi no konyakusha.” (Goodnight, my fiance.) You kissed him three times, for luck. Two on the cheek, and one on the lips. “I’ll be in my room like the good girl I am. Goodnight, mom, dad.” Rengoku couldn’t help but gaze at your walk to your room and catch one more look before you closed your door for the night. He went into his room next, and then your parents. As he snuggled up in the guest bedroom, he believed the night a success.
Slumber was just moments away after having such an eventful day. He’d wake up early and call his family, tell them everything that went down and how both of your families would finally unite as one.
His drift into REM sleep was quiet, peaceful, warm, wet, electrifying, and-- ‘What’s this feeling!?’ His eyes opened wide as he peeled back the sheets, catching the sight of you giving him a blowjob. He almost lost it when you continued on as if your parents weren’t just down the hallway!
“_____!” He exclaimed in a whisper. “I thought we would be separated for the night! You said you’d be a good girl tonight!”
Rengoku was doing his damndest to be serious, but it proved difficult when you crawled onto his lap. Even more so when he deviated his eyes down your soft, pajama dress that outlined damn near every line and curve of your body. Was it deplorable that he wanted to pull the front of your dress down and suck on your nipples as you both grinded on each other? Such a tempting thought, but he must adhere to their rules.
“I am a good girl.” Even worse, yet better. You peeled off the pajama dress and tossed it to the side. “Your good girl.” His whole face went red after seeing you bared no panties and no bra. It was like seeing you for the first time though you’ve spent copious amounts of time together. He never got enough of you. “Oh!” You suddenly mused. “Someone’s happy to see me.” You leaned down and enveloped Rengoku in a series of tantalizing kisses.
He was supposed to hold on strong, but he lost to your seducing little ways. Both calloused hands smoothed down your back, cupping the meat of your ass as you aroused him to no end. You were damn near insatiable and he loved that about you. How you came to him for your needs. He felt that he was the only man in your world that could please you how you wanted, that could make you feel how you do, that could make you come like he did.
It was selfish to think it but who else would compare to him in your eyes?
When he saw into your dark, lustful eyes, he knew the answer. It made him prideful. It made him protective. It made him pursue your happiness to the fullest.
However, he suddenly remembered, “Condomu ga arimasen. Gomen nasai.” (I’m sorry, I don’t have a condom.)
“Zenzen ii yo,” (No problem,)  you filtered through the sheets, pulling one out. “Arimasu yo.” (I have one.)
Rengoku knew he was in trouble then. He hadn’t expected his future wife to be so bold as to pull out a condom like that. It surprised him, and it also turned him on! “My Sunflower is so prepared!” He exclaimed in a somewhat hushed whisper.
“Not so loud, or our little rendezvous will be cut short.”
You looked glorious even with any weight you’ve gained, lost, or maintained. He loved sinking his fingers into you. However, you didn’t leave him much time to admire you as you scooted back, ripping the wrapper open with your teeth, and slipping the cap over his hardened erection.
Seeing him fight made you so hot and heavy from before that you needed a piece of him before the sun rose. With it fit on snugly and oh so nicely, you moved back forward and hovered over it. “Be gentle with me.” You heed as you lowered down on him, your pussy clamping on him every inch of the way down.
Rengoku bit down on his bottom lip, muffling his deep breath as you took him in. You were such a sight to hold in this position that he could’ve come right then. However, that’d be no way to satisfy his future wife if he came so suddenly. And even if he did, he’d continue as if he didn’t at all.
When you sat on top comfortably, you leaned over him as you both slowly rocked your hips, meeting skin to skin. It wasn’t long until the pace hastened, and it was when the urge hit him. He caught your right nipple in his mouth, sucking and licking as you rocked as quietly as you could, damn near throwing inhibition and decency into the wind.
He somewhat came back to when your moans started to fill the air, becoming louder and louder. But you were just a step ahead as you sat upright with your nipple leaving his mouth with a pop. This cowgirl position was dangerous as the tip of his dick often kissed your cervix, but you weren’t tryna play meek and nice. You wanted Rengoku deep inside of you.
Though he worried about your parents waking up from the squeaking bed, he couldn’t help but oblige, especially when you looked so good on top of him. If it wasn’t for the condom, he would’ve cum in you two times by now.
The rendezvous was quick, but oh so hot.
Your clenching walls coaxed the last bit of his seed out, a splatter of a mess on his pubes as you slowly lifted up, looking down at the mess you two made. Fortunately for your man, you didn’t give him a chance to protest your next move as you slowly pulled the condom off and returned to your position from before, cleaning off his sensitive dick with soft strokes of your tongue and visibly swallowing all that he had to offer.
Rengoku hadn’t expected that at all, and you knew that as you stared at him while cleaning your lips. “Mmm, my favorite.” You got off of him, even though you didn’t want to and pulled his drawls and pajama shorts back up. You wrapped the condom up in some tissue and tossed it in a nearby trash bin. “See you in the morning, Kyōjurō.” Kiss blown, you threw on your pajama dress and headed back to your room as if you weren’t on that demon time with your man.
Poor thing was left stunned, satisfied, and bewildered. That feeling of excitement, wonder, and love kept him going on long and strong. ‘There’s nothing I won’t do for you,’ he thought with a smile on his face, ‘No other woman can make me feel the way you do. That can make me smile the way you do. That can make me laugh the way you do! I can’t wait for us to be together!’
He truly felt for Ray now because he had given up on someone as great as you, as wonderful as you, as loving as you. You were worth fighting for and then some because he knew that when the fight was over, you’d be there by his side.
That was why it was going to hurt him when he had to leave. Going back to Japan without you was going to be hard on him just like it was going to be for you when he left. Only one more year was left, but he wanted her to forgo all of that and come with him now. How selfish of him to think that but when it came to you, could you blame him?
Rengoku hadn’t been through something like this before and it was exciting, thrilling, and hopeful. No matter what you looked like on the outside, he loved it. Your skin, hair, and nails? He lived for all of that. He didn’t want you to change anything for him or for anyone else unless you wanted to.
You filled him with something he had long been waiting for. You’ve filled him with love, so much that his heart could burst from the overflow. What he had chosen to do was the right decision. All of the pieces were finally falling together. His commitment to you will never falter.
As waking up in the morning and finding you snuggled up on him helped solidify what everyday life with you would be like, it was the joy and adoration on your face when you looked up at him that made him all the more amorous. “Mornin’, handsome.”
Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Perfect for him and only him. And he was perfect for you, magnificently perfect. Perfect for you and only you.
                 ( space )
Rengoku didn’t let it show, because it wasn’t masculine to express such soft emotions, but he longed to have you in his arms every day. That’s why it hurt to wake up in his apartment in Japan without you there beside him. Though he wasn’t given much time to linger on his thoughts, he didn’t let that get him down. Every day, he printed out any pictures you had taken over the time you both had been together. It kept his mind off of you not being here. Actually, it acted as a countdown to when you were coming.
There was going to be a bit of a gap until you received your diploma and certification to work abroad. The moment you showcased your graduation gown, Rengoku immediately implored you to send in an application to where he worked - Kimetsu Academy as they had just added on English classes and would be looking for native assistant language teachers.
On his word did he swear to put in a good word for you and get you a job, and that he did! Once the eight weeks had passed, you spent the next couple of months getting the necessary documents signed, notarized, and sent. Background check done, and everything approved, you applied and received your work visa and was planning on your next trip into your new life with him.
You wouldn’t believe the plans that Rengoku had set up, thanks to his mother’s guidance. His father kept him busy with financial stability, and having everything in order even though he wanted to work primarily as a history teacher. He wanted to give back to the school that gave him the experience of a lifetime, his friends, and, of course, his soon to be wife.
“Sorosoro iku jikan da yo.” (It’s time to go.)  His driver called from the doorway of the empty home Rengoku just purchased. It was just outside of the city. Space for him, for you, for Senjuro, for his parents, and, of course, for your future children.
With a knowing nod, he was out and in the car, on that two hour drive back to the airport. His stomach turned and twisted in excitement and nervousness. Yeah, he just spoke with you the day before, but he wanted nothing more than to see you coming down the escalator and out into the departure terminal, where he’d be waiting.
Time ticked slowly, from the time he left until the time he got there. He kept himself from pacing by clenching his fingers together over the bouquet of sunflowers in his arms. “Kyōjurō! Tadaima!” (Kyōjurō! I’m home!) His eyes met yours. The moment he saw you coming down in your sweats, two suitcases, and a carry-on bag, Rengoku lost his breath as he met you when you came down, embracing you close and tight. He kissed your forehead sweetly as he whispered in your hair, “Okaerinasai, _____!” (Welcome home, _____!) - - - - - - - - Chapters: 1 (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3) / 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

I haven’t been able to make a post with a gif, so let’s look at husbando from the new trailer for S2 for KnY. Who’s excited because I AM! Getting to see more him will make my day. They know they cannot pass up on giving more backstory for Rengoku. Just a phenomenal character with a movie’s worth of screen time and that was all it took to make us fall in love. /dreamy sigh/ Here is Chapter V. Chapter VI is on the way. Just that one and Chapter VII and this little mini-series will be complete! Hope you all enjoy this one! I may have had a little too much fun with this one, what with adding a bit of drama, but the next one should be better! Until then, thank you for all the reads! - - - - - - - - - - -
                                                   Chapter V: Heart vs. Logic
News was not warmly received about your sudden engagement to a man you had only just met on your trip to Japan. Your parents were in an uproar because you didn’t even mention this man, Refoku Kyogura, or whatever his name was, to which you had corrected them a few times.
Their strong opinions of it being a scam, or not real love, made you feel insecure when facing two people that you really loved. Rengoku was different. Rengoku wasn’t like anyone you’ve ever met. Everything with him felt right, even letting him cum inside of you! It felt like it was all supposed to happen before.
“Does he really love you?”
“He probably wants a green card!”
“He is using you!”
“Don’t believe his sweet little nothings!”
“He’s not even the same as us! He won’t understand your struggles!”
“Do you really want to move over there without your family?”
All of their words cut deep to your core. You were a sobbing mess some days when Rengoku called you, but he didn’t fill you with more doubt.
“I’ll prove to them that I am the one for you! No one will smother my embers for you, _____! Believe me! Whenever you have doubts, come to me!”
Rengoku was understanding and patient… and strict. If you weren’t finishing an essay here, or finishing homework there, he’d cut conversations short so you could concentrate. He’d give you his best smile, and shout out loud into your headphones, “You got this!” And in return, you’d blow him a few kisses. He’d pretend to catch each one and bring his closed fist over his heart. “I’ll cherish every one of them!”
It was clear as day. The longer the distance, the fonder your heart became for him. You wanted to be back with him so bad. Your nights weren’t the same without him warming you like the furnace he was.
You missed his strong hands holding you close, with fingers gently caressing and rubbing small circles on your skin. You missed his strong, unblinking, vermillion gaze. You missed his booming voice. You missed his extroverted energy. You missed that dick. You missed the sex you both had, his kisses.
You missed him. You were so turned on by the memories that you text Kyōjurō …

⦗You: YOU’RE WELCOME, BABE, AND I LOVE YOU, TOO!⦘
                                                   (space)
“One more month until it’s Christmas!” You exclaimed with glee. “I wish I could be spending it with you.” You laid your chin on your folded hands, sighing longingly.
“We will soon! And I hope my gift will make you happy!”
“You’re sending me something?? Again?? Aren’t you worried about spoiling me so much?”
“Why shouldn’t I spoil you?”
“Because I can’t spoil you in the same way and I wish I could.”
You could have sworn you felt the warmth from his smile from behind your computer screen. You both video-called each other almost every day. Rengoku was punctual about these calls and so, in turn, it started changing you. You had been on the lazy side, moving slowly and procrastinating a bit, but Rengoku didn’t give you any slack and you were becoming more and more grateful to have him in your life.
“You spoil me enough by being with me! I’ll be the happiest man alive when we’re married! Just one more year! Besides,” he raised one of his legs, “You gave me so many pairs of socks! I’ve been wearing them every day since I got them! Did you get mine?”
You rummaged around your desk, bringing up the rather large package. “Says that I have to wait until Christmas.”
“Nn! It’s your Christmas present, but you can’t open it until Christmas Eve! At your family party!”
“Why at the party?”
“To show how truly beautiful you are!”
You were lucky for the melanin in your skin or else he’d be able to see you blushing from overseas. “I thought that you didn’t care about what others think of us.”
“I do not!” He answered proudly. “What do people do with their beloved treasures? They show them off and care for them, showing their sentiment for someone or something so precious.” He stared straight at you. His lips curled into a knowing smile. “You’re precious to me, _____. I want to care for you and show you to the world. I will never hide how I feel for you!”
“Stop it!” You wiped at your face furiously. “You always find a new way to make me smile and cry at once! Heh, it must be your special skill when it comes to me.”
“Only if they are tears of joy!”
“Worry about when I see you in person. I’m going to be a mess in your arms.”
“I look forward to holding you steady!”
Your parents were surprised at your changes even though they had generally disapproved of the relationship in the first place. They were against it. At least, your mother still was. She wanted you back with your ex, a good boy who was like you.
Your father listened and watched from the shadows, though. It brought him unbridled joy to see his daughter happy and loved.
Rengoku promoted your studies, cheered you on, was your shoulder to lean on, a provider, a giver— he was a man. Because of him, your focus was sharp and your handle on responsibilities improved tremendously.
After you and Rengoku had spoken, he knocked on the door. “Hey, sweetheart, it’s just me.”
“Oh, dad! Come on in!” You greeted him at the front of your room, all smiles and filled with glee. He loved that for you.
“_____ _____,” he addressed you by your maiden and surname, “I was wrong about him. He is a good, good man.” He placed his large, hard-working hands on your shoulders. “They don’t make many more like him. And I’d be wrong to keep you away from him. All a father could ask for is that his daughter finds a man to love you the way I do.”
“Dad…” there came the waterworks again.
“Oh, baby! I didn’t mean to make you cry.”
“You and Kyōjurō are just good at pulling at my heartstrings, that’s all!” You patted your face and regained your composure. “I really… I really do love him.”
“Enough to have kids with him?”
You sighed, rolling your eyes playfully. “Surprisingly enough, yes.”
“That’s my kind of guy already!”
“Because you want grandkids!”
“I’m not getting any older and your mom refuses to go back to the Wishing Well!”
“So, now, I’m your only hope of seeing a boy, huh? You might not have much to worry about. His family genes are really strong.” Really strong.
                                                  (space)
The Christmas Eve party had commenced. Every other year, it was celebrated at your house. Friends and relatives alike all came for the food and festivities. Even though cleaning up afterwards wasn’t fun or the best, this was a tradition you loved as everyone got together and mingled between another.
Dressed up in a Christmas dress and stockings, your look was simple and yet cute. Well, it had to be since you were the ‘host’. You opened the door and greeted everyone that came, thanking them for stopping by and to come on in.
Upon the ring of the doorbell, you gasped at who appeared on your doorstep. “Ray! You actually came!?”
“In the flesh. Hope you don’t mind me being late. Had to pick-up these.”
“Ah! Roses? Why, you shouldn’t have! You just had to bring yourself. Come on in, I’m sure my mom would be ecstatic to see you.”
“Hope she’s not the only one.” He came in, closing the door behind him.
“Oh, right! My cousins wanna see you, too!” You laughed.
“I bet,” he chuckled nervously, seeing them eye him from the door. He was a fit man who worked in the early mornings and went to school in the early evenings. He was working on becoming a better man, as he had told you. “I’m gonna holla’ at your folks and then I’ll be back for you.”
“No rush.” You hadn’t seen that man in some months, let alone hear from him until the beginning of December. The break-up had been nothing but a mess, but you believed he was coming around and wanting to take your offer of being his friend. Also, he brought you flowers for the empty vase set on the dining room table.
Ding Dong!
“Hmm? I thought that was everyone…” You had a good headcount of who was coming, but then again, you might have missed one. “Hello and welcome to the pa--” Your jaw dropped and your grip tightened around the bouquet of roses in your hand.
“You’re still as beautiful as ever, my Sunflower!” His booming voice drowned out the music from inside, garnering the attention of damn near everyone in there. “Douzo!” (Here!) Handed before you were a bouquet of lavender blooms. They were absolutely gorgeous. You had never seen them before! You gingerly took the second one from him and set them down on the table.
Rengoku had you staring in complete and total awe.
With arms spread out and a warm smile on his face, he asked, “Did you miss me, _____?”
You leapt into his arms, holding him just as tightly as he held you, squealing and kicking your feet as the man you video-called every day was now at your doorstep. “I can’t believe that you’re here! You didn’t even tell me you were coming or anything!”
“I didn’t want to ruin the surprise! Were you surprised?”
“Yes, yes, yes! Now, gimme that handsome face of yours.” You completely forgot about everyone in the house as you and Rengoku kissed over and over and over again. Their jaws dropped just like yours had. A lot of them thought that this man didn’t even exist, or he was real. And yet here you were, wrapped up in his strong arms.
“Ah, where’s your jacket? You’re not cold?”
Rengoku came in just a simple white V-neck shirt and jeans and black shoes. Where you lived, it didn’t snow but the wind could whip that body dry. “The wind feels good! Are you?”
“Oh, yeah-- come on inside.”
Ray watched as you linked fingers with this ‘Rengoku’, leaning into him as he stepped into the house, garnering much of the attention.
You didn’t straighten up until your parents were in front of the both of you. “Who is this, _____?” Your mother asked with a raised brow.
“I’m Rengoku Kyōjurō, eldest son to Rengoku Shinjuro and Ruka, elder brother to Rengoku Senjuro, and your amazing daughter’s lover!”
Everyone’s face cracked.
“Kyōjurō! Did you really have to say that last part like that?”
“It’s the truth!”
Your scolding never lasted more than milliseconds when it came to Rengoku, and having him back in your arms was almost more than you could handle. You always tended to have your own independent space with your ex, but you allowed yourself to feel small and safe in his presence. He naturally took control, handling any adversary well enough that made you certain that this was the man for you because he could protect you.
Your ex noticed and it made him sick to see it - to see you with that wide-eyed, loud mouth weirdo.
Anyone would be a fool to not see the connection between you two. Anyone in this house might as well call themselves crazy if they couldn’t feel the presence of the sun before them. Your very being had become attached to the man, so much that it was natural for you to cling onto him and him onto you. Your eyes were alight with sparkling hope as your lips widened into a teeth-baring smile and laugh.
Murmurs and whispers crossed between family members as the _____ household finally crossed paths with the unimaginable.
“My apologies if I interrupted your intimate gathering! Your daughter had wished for us to spend the holidays together, and since I have finally graduated, I wanted to make her dream come true!”
“Ah, you graduated!”
“With high honors as well!”
“That’s my Kyōjurō,” you sweetly cooed as you kissed him along his cheek and jaw, “My sweet,” kiss, “Handsome,” kiss, “Smart,” kiss, “Talented,” kiss, “Strong man.” Rengoku’s face immediately warmed more and more after each kiss and praise, but hearing you claim him really took the cake. You weren’t afraid to show him adoration and affection, things he desired from his partner. He loved how genuine your words were. They made him swell up with so much pride inside.
Your mother, and Ray, weren’t pleased by this sudden surprise but your father rounded between you, Rengoku, and her, staring at the 5’9” bundle of sunlight securely holding you close to him. “Ah, so, you’re the infamous man my daughter’s been talking about. Glad to meet ya. I’ve heard nothing but great things about you.”
“As you should! I love _____ with all of my heart! I have come to make a first good impression and to show that our love is true!”
“Forward and bold! I like that! Come and enjoy the festivities. We’ve got plenty of food and drinks to go around!”
Rengoku bowed, “Thank you for your hospitality, _____-sama!”
“Please,” you chuckled, “Mr. _____ will do just fine. Now, come, I know that you’ve got to be starving after your trip here. I’ll make sure you eat good tonight!”
“What do you have?” He asked, following you into the kitchen.
“Meatballs, glazed ham, macaroni and cheese, a meat and cheese platter, broccoli casserole, and, a family favorite, sweet potato pie. What would you like first?”
“I’ll have a little bit of everything! Especially the pie!”
“You got it!”
Ray, along with the rest of your family, observed and whispered among another, wondering who exactly was this positive ball of sunshine. He came immaculately dressed with a bright smile illuminating any room he went into. His clear voice echoed throughout the house, announcing his presence.
‘He don’t look so tough,’ Ray had begun to gather. ‘What’s so special about this dope, huh? Hell, he’s not even as tall as me!’ He grimaced. ‘What’s he got that I don’t got!? The hell you see in ‘im, _____?’
Peering up, he found those owlish eyes on him, as if staring straight through him and it made him shiver down to the bone.
‘What the fuck? Did I just--’
Ray glanced over and found those intimidating vermillions piercing him like daggers. Rengoku never broke eye contact as you made his plate. Your ex swore he was mean-mugging him until he suddenly smiled and waved at him just as you handed him his plate and a plastic fork.
“What would you like to drink? Water? Soda? Spiked fruit punch? Sweet tea?”
“If that tea is as sweet as you, I’ll have some!”
“Stop it! Not in front of my folks!” You walked off laughing, getting his drink.
Their eyes met one moment more before you beckoned Rengoku to have a seat with you at the currently empty dining room. The man felt it was his very right to go and hear what you two had to talk about.
“I was wondering why you were telling me you were so busy today! I was getting worried, you know?”
“My apologies for making you worry! As I said before, I did not want to ruin the surprise!” He dug his spoon into the food, taking a huge bite. “Mmm- UMAI!” He made damn near everyone jump in the house from his shout.
“It’s good, right? But you’ll have to turn it down. My folks aren’t used to someone like you.”
“Understood!” And so he adjusted, eating quietly. “You can open your gift now.”
You gasped. “I can!? I almost forgot about it! I’ll be right back.” You got up from the table and began heading upstairs. “Oh, hey, Ray, I’ll be right back!”
“Take your time.” Ray found this time to come and sit across from the man now stuffing his face with delight. “So, what’s your deal?”
“Hmm?” Rengoku glanced at Ray confused.
“What’chu mean, ‘hmm’? You got her willing to bend over backwards for you and I couldn’t even get that. What’d’ya do? Give her money? Pipe her down? What?”
Rengoku slowly sat up, glaring dangerously at Ray. “Do not insult her.”
“Ayo, chill. What’chu gettin’ all mad for? We just having a lil’ bro talk.”
“Talking behind her back is nothing honorable between us.” Rengoku visibly frowned. “We just met and I already dislike you.” His wonderful food had then been set aside, the taste soon to be ruined with Ray around. “Who are you?”
“Haven’t you heard of me? I’m Ray, her ex-boyfriend. Didn’t think she had anyone better than me waiting for her.”
“My patience paid off. It is unfortunate that you two ended, but it can’t be helped now. _____ chose to be with me and I dare not break her trust. I won’t lose her again. If there’s anything you need to say, say it to her respectfully, not to me.”
“Why? You're the one wearing the pants in the relationship, right? You’re the man, yeah? This is between us, not her.”
“If so, then we’ve nothing to speak on.”
“You not running, are ya?” Rengoku’s brows raised and lowered furiously. You hadn’t said too much about Ray and it was understandable why. “What could someone like you know about the struggles of a black woman? Who better to understand than her own kin?”
“She’d still be with you if that was the case,” Ray scoffed at Rengoku’s matter-of-fact statement, “This doesn’t seem like a first time that she has to stand on her own, but she won’t be alone in facing her difficulties again because she will have me.”
‘Those dreams make sense. The rejection and disdain from others who judged her based on her skin. Like jabs at one’s most sensitive core, building upon it with insecurity, pain, and loneliness. Human resilience is truly astounding.’
Rengoku experienced these familiar dreams over and over again, watching his comrades disregard you though they were on the same team. It hurt down to the core and yet you gathered your composure and continued on… because he was there every step of the way, encouraging you to blaze forward.
“Have you? What can you do for her?”
“Your words cannot make me doubt my love for her. Not my father, not my peers, and not you. I’ll say it now and proudly, _____ shall be my…” All eyes fell on you when you stepped down in this to die for dress. You’ve never worn anything like it, let alone own it! “My wife!”
Rengoku stood from the table and hurried to you, eyeing you up and down in the mermaid kimono inspired fit. The material, though form fitting, was flattering and easy to put on.
“How did you get something like this? It’s so nice!”
“All thanks go to my mother! She said you’d look stunning in something like this, and she was right!”
Your world shrunk, leaving just you two, thriving and vibing off of each other’s energy. It wasn’t until you looked up at him that you noticed his half-mast gaze. Longing, loving, yearning— his beautiful soul surrounded in light and love. He only saw you standing there in all of your glory.
“Chotto matte kudasai!” (Please wait!)
“Doko ni iru no?” (Where are you going?)
“Asoko— boku no Himawari,”(Over there-- my Sunflower,) he returned from around the corner, handing you the Wisteria bouquet. He knelt down with a red box in his hand, “_____ _____, kekkon shimasen ka?” (First/Last name, won’t you marry me?)
Flashing through your mind was an unspoken reverie, with those close to you both cheering and smiling as you both made your unity true. What was supposed to be came to be now. Whispers and murmurs about you two became gentle breezes in the wind as Wisteria layered over you two.
Rengoku wasn’t even able to open the box all the way as you tackled him to the ground, squealing excitedly over and over again.
In the home, there was confusion, surprise, anger, bitterness, and happiness. But that didn’t matter— none of it did! You were getting married to the man of your dreams, Rengoku Kyōjurō!
Blissful moments like this only last so long. Ray had something to say about this as he stood over you two. “You not serious, are you? You really thinking about going back to that small ass country?”
“Why not stay here?” Your mother added, “Where you’re with family, with us. You had dear Ray waiting on you for so long.”
There were obstacles waiting on both ends, Rengoku saw that and now understood you much more now that he was in the midst of it, but he wouldn’t back down. He got the both of you up and held your right hand firmly.
He nodded to you, reassuring you that he had your back. “That’s… not what I want, mom. I want to be with him. He’s everything I want and then some. No one else can complete me the way he can.”
“You’re not serious—”
“I am.” You stated boldly. “You got to say whatever in my last relationship and I don’t want that. Kyōjurō came all this way to see me! Sent me a gift from his mother,” you twirled in the dress, “And proposed to me! I’m not going to miss living a life with him.”
“_____!”
“_____!”
You didn’t want to hear them call your name no more. No more of this resentful and empty feeling. You did not want to think about what made you two different. You didn’t want anyone to have any say in your love life. You thrived with him, and you wanted nothing else but Rengoku.
You bundled up the strapless kimono dress up in your bouquet holding hand while the other grabbed for Rengoku as you made a way through them out into the cold with just your slippers on, but honestly—
“Where are we going!?” He yelled to you as he met your jogging pace.
“Anywhere but here! Just me and you!”
“What about your family?”
“I’m not marrying them, am I!?” You laughed out in the cold as Rengoku got the gist and led you to his modest electric car. Well, you wouldn’t exactly call a red, butterfly door Tesla modest but a son of the household brand name Rengoku would get anything less than the best.
“I want to be with you forever!” You ignored the calls and the shouts for you to come back as relative eyes watched you run off with a smile on your face. No phone, no wallet— just yourself. “Just for tonight, let it be you and me!”
“_____!”
“_____!”
Rengoku glanced back at the few bobbing heads coming behind, momentarily contemplating to stop but one look at your smiling and laughing face immediately threw it out the window.
“Wait, _____!”
Doors opened before you both made it. He guided you and then himself. Hatches down, he zoomed off into the street, leaving your family in the cold dust!
“_____…”
                                                  (space)
Rengoku lived lavishly, only by his mother’s standards. She made sure her family stayed in the best of the best, especially him. She was so proud of her eldest and wanted him to have the world, and if it meant having you in his life, she’d welcome you with open arms.
He currently stayed in a nearby subdivision, hosted in a fine AirBnB. An open floor plan with plenty of windows to let in sunlight from many directions, a fireplace, an island and gas stove kitchen with double ovens, two lofty bedrooms, a comfortable living space, two gorgeous bathrooms, a pantry full of snacks, a refrigerator full of yours and his favorite things, and, best of all-- privacy.
“No matter where you take me, you’re always in the lap of luxury.”
“My mother has great taste in accommodations, so we boys, our father, too, don’t protest her choices.” He had helped you out of the Tesla and into the wondrous home, lifting the end of your present so that it didn’t drag on the ground.
“Neither will I. She has great taste in fashion, too. I really have’ta thank her for this. I almost cried when I put it on. It’s more than I could even ask for.”
“She’ll be pleased to hear your appreciation!” Everything you received from him, you have been nothing but joyful tears and squeals. Your expressions have left a lasting impression on him. He always wanted to see you happy like this, with him.
“Great, but first,” you found his hands and held them up to your lips, “I want to apologize for Ray’s behavior. He’s--” You paused.
“He’s your ex, right?” You nodded slowly. “Hmm. I can see why you didn’t speak much about him when we were together.”
“Because look at how he acts!” You exclaimed suddenly. Realizing your outburst being too loud by how Rengoku looked at you surprised, you brought your tone down. “My mother thinks he’s god’s little green gift for me, but I don’t think that at all. He causes scenes like that and my family just watches and comment on how he ‘takes care of me’ and all that, but it’s not true.”
It was Rengoku’s turn to hold your hands now. “Then, what is true?”
“Before I answer, did he speak to you?”
Remembering that conversation made a couple veins visible. “Yes.” Rengoku had murder written on those vermillion eyes. “And I already hate him,” he continued, answering honestly, “For disrespecting you, me, and our relationship. If we had been outside, I would’ve struck him down where he stood.” Your mouth dropped. Rengoku, who looked like he’d be gentle even to a fly, was serious in his intent. “I now fully understand what you went through with my parents, with your classmates.” He eased his grip, feeling that he was holding your delicate digits too hard.
“And yet you stood up for me. I know by the look on Ray’s face that you’ve been doing it all this time, whether I was around or not and that is just--” oh shit, not the waterworks again! You got it together as quickly as you could, continuing. “You’ll never be able to get rid of me at this point!”
His serious face dropped the moment you smiled and leaned up against him, cuddling underneath his chin. “I had never planned to in the first place!” He stated with enthusiasm. “I meant my words, _____. Nothing will come between us again.”
“Well, since you’ve said that, how were you even able to come over here? Thought that you and your father disagreed about our marriage?”
“We did!”
“Well… what happened?”
“He gave in!”
“Eh!? H-how? What made him change his mind?”
“I told him that I’d quit the family business after I graduated, become a professor, and prepare for your arrival.”
“Did you actually mean that?”
“Yes!”
“So…?”
“He approved of our arrangement just a month before I graduated! I immediately planned a trip here to your hometown so I could see you and propose to you properly, though the reception for our engagement was not well received.”
“And who cares?” You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him many times over. “We’re getting married! Besides, you’re the only man I’ve ever swallowed or let cum in me, and I could’ve gotten pregnant.”
“We can always try again!”
“Aht aht!” You wiggled out of his grasp, waving your finger madly. “You caught me slippin’ that time! It’s back to condoms we go! I had a close scare when I came back home.”
“If you had been, we’d be getting married right now so I could be closer to you and our child!”
“They’d probably look like you, too! Your family has really strong genres.” Rengoku peeked at your hips swaying side to side as you left him to peruse his current stay. “We can always “practice” baby making, but I won’t be ready for a couple years. I want to spend time reveling in your presence. What do you think?”
Rengoku came up behind you with his strong arms wrapped around you and his head lying on top of yours. “As long as I’m with you, that is more than fine.”
“Good answer.” You chuckled. “Let’s cuddle, Kyōjurō. I miss being your little spoon.”
“So did I, my Sunflower.”
You could stay like that forever, but the beds and sofas were looking much more comfortable than being on your cold, sock covered feet. “I should take this off. I wouldn’t want to wrinkle this anymore than I have.”
The expanse of your back broadened vertically as you slipped the dress down to the floor and carefully folded it in your arms and over the sofa arm.
You turned to Rengoku with your arms crossed over your chest, having taken everything off save for your boy shorts. It had been a year since you’ve seen him and you were feeling shy to show yourself to him.
As always, he wasted no time closing the distance between you two. Your hands in his, he guided them down as he kissed you with passion. It electried you to the point of overwhelming desire as your fingers fumbled over his, undoing his belt and untucking his shirt in a hurry.
Before your fingers could reach the golden trail, he backed up suddenly, keeping you at arm’s length. “Just cuddling, right?”
Your mouth dropped some. “Yes?”
“Are you sure that’s all?”
Your eyes shifted, “I thought that it was implied.”
“What was implied?”
Sometimes, this man couldn’t read between the lines, but it was his genuine bewilderment that made you smile. “That me and you would have sex.”
“Oh! Then yes, if you want to! However, I’m fine with laying with you in bed, holding you close in my arms, smelling your hair, feeling your skin.” He was blushing again at the thought as he dropped his hands from your shoulders and began dressing down. “We have all the time in the world, so there’s no need to rush into anything like before.” He found the remote to the curtains, clicking for them to go down. “Just being with you is more than enough for me.” He then turned on the T.V., knowing how much you liked to set the mood with a show or music.
You sighed, “Such a romantic. Mind bringing me a shirt and some shorts?”
“Nn!” Rengoku loved when you wore his clothes. After the first night together in Japan, he never forgot the scent you left in his tank top, so he’d be in high hopes that you’d forget something at the dorm just so he could see you sporting his clothes. You always looked happy and comfortable.
“And would you mind if I wore something of yours tomorrow on the way back home?” Since you practically bolted out of your home with just the dress and socks on.
“Of course! Anything of mine is yours to use.”
You immediately threw on the fit and cuddled up in one of the throws on the large, L-sectional sofa with a heavy and satisfying plop. Rengoku joined you and wrapped his left arm over your shoulders, pulling you towards him.
“I really missed you, _____.”
“Me too.” You cuddled into him. “We’ll have to make up for lost time.”
Even with everything going on between you both and your families, he always made you forget about them. He stood up for what he wanted and you did the same. All of this-- it felt right.  And good because you both fucked in the middle of the night. - - - - - - - - - - Chapters: 1 (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3) / 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

Hello to everyone new following me and those that have been keeping up with this short story. I’ve literally made like 10 more Kimetsu no Yaiba stories that include: Rengoku, Sanemi, Yoriichi, Gyomei, and Giyuu, as well as working on some other fanfics. I went on a bit of a vacation, too, and it got me all excited to write more. So here is Chapter IV, finally! I’m working on the next chapter now, so I hope you all enjoy this one. It was almost fifteen pages so I’ll hope it’ll all fit!

                                          Chapter IV: Bittersweet Farewell
You only saw his father once for dinner when he arrived. After that, you didn't see him any more. Both brothers took his lack of presence harshly, but you took it worse. You knew what this meant when he didn’t show up.
Rengoku stood up from the table, excusing himself as he made a beeline down the hallway, towards his father’s office. You didn’t think you could even imagine rage or anger twisting his face so seriously, and it saddened you. You didn’t want to be the cause of them breaking apart or fussing.
He had everything he could ever want. Another woman can come along and take his hand, make his father proud of his choice, but you were selfish. You didn’t want to let him be with somebody else. He had put his stamp on your heart, and it would feel impossible to erase him from your mind.
Imprinted upon and thoroughly marked, you belonged to him, and you knew that. Who in this world could even take his place if you two broke it off? He’s what you’d consider to be a ten out of ten, so your thoughts were right. He had ruined you for any other man and in the best way possible.
“I’m sorry that he won’t be attending dinner tonight as well,” Ruka began, “He wants the best for him, but I know where his heart lies.” She turned to you. “It’s obvious that you and my son share history in a past life. You make him happy, and that’s all I can ask of my future daughter-in-law.”
You gasped, surprised. “Daughter-in-law?” You repeated.
“If there’s one thing to learn about those born into the Rengoku family, once they’ve set their sights on someone, they’ll refuse to give up, no matter the obstacle. He’ll fight for you, no matter what. Are you willing to fight for him?”
“Yes,” you answered confidently. “There’s no one like him. I’d be the biggest fool if I let him go. I really do love him,” you both had suffered an unspoken tragedy before, “And I’d want nothing more than to give him what I couldn’t before.”
“What is that, _____?”
You smiled wide, remembering his words of importance, how he was striving for the one thing he believed he didn’t have or experience in his past life. He gushed over you about having a big stomach, about his brother being a kind uncle, about his mother being a loving grandmother, and his father a proud grandfather. “A family of his own.”
                                                ( S P A C E)
Farewells were bittersweet, and this one felt no different to Rengoku after refusing marriage to girls of his father’s choosing. They were beautiful and did whatever he asked, and that was something he didn’t want. He didn’t want for someone to be with him because of his status, because of his family name. He wanted to wake up happy and in love with the woman of his dreams.
What seemed like a far away reverie was now reality. His father disagreed and disapproved of his choice, but Rengoku didn’t step down as he felt that you were the woman he had been waiting for all this time. His hand squeezed yours, reassuring him that he hadn’t been asleep this whole time. You were really and truly here.
“Yes?” You asked, feeling his squeeze.
“I’m just thinking.”
“About what?”
“About you.”
Your interest was piqued. “About me?”
“Nn,” He scooted over, closing the distance between you on the ride back to his apartment, “I’m thinking about how lucky I was to meet you that day at school. Who knew being a part of the welcome committee would have brought us together?”
“You think you’re lucky?” You laughed, “I should be the one saying how lucky I am that you chose to be with me!”
Rengoku shook his head. “I’m the lucky one,” he leaned his head on yours and wrapped his arm around your shoulders, pulling you next to him, “And so I’m thinking of many ways I can make you happy as your future husband.”
“Don’t I need to make you happy, too?”
“Of course! But as the English saying goes, ‘happy wife, happy life’.”
“You won’t have any problems in that department. Now, are you feeling alright? I know that you and your father didn’t see eye to eye.”
“It’s true,” he breathed in, “He had arranged for me to meet another woman on Sunday, and was frustrated at the sight of you. ‘She is below the standard. As my son, you deserve better. It’s my duty as your father to make sure of it!’” Rengoku gazed out of the window, looking past the scenery. He needed a moment to regain his composure as those words hurt him to hear from his father, as if he even knew you. “I-”
You cupped his face and turned him back to you and kissed him all over his face, warming his heart with your shows of affection. “Being married to you sounds better every day.” You kissed him on the lips this time. “As long as this is what you want, then I’m down for a proposal, whenever you’re ready! Your mother and little brother gave me the okay to be your wife.”
“T-they did? My mother did?” Renoku asked, staring at you in surprise.
“Yes, when you were off talking with your father. She mentioned how happy you were with me, and it made me realize how happy I was to be with you even in this short amount of time. Said that you Rengoku boys pursue with purpose.”
“That we do!” Rengoku was all smiles again as he returned your kisses all over. “You’re the only woman I want to love. I have seen my life with you, and it’s more than I could ever imagine.”
He sure knew how to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but at the same time, you remembered that your time here was limited. “Though, I have two years of school to finish first. I want to be able to work here officially. Do you think… we could wait until then?”
“I’ve waited this long, so two more years won’t hurt, but I’ll miss having you here with me.” He sighed. “I’ll have to spend that time preparing for your return.”
“Because… we’re going to get married the moment I touch back down in Japan, isn’t that right?”
“That’s the plan!” Rengoku spoke everything into existence. Whether large or small, the wedding was going to happen and he was going to get his chance at having a family of his own.
                                                ( S P A C E )
You both returned to his apartment, setting the suitcases at the door of his bedroom. You didn’t say another word as you walked into the living space, turning on the TV stacked on the wall. Smart TVs were so nice these days as you brought up some music, setting it to play once the ad ended.
“What are you doing?” Rengoku asked, curious.
Once the music started playing, you danced your way over to him, guiding him by hand to the open space, pretending it to be the dance floor. The moon greeted you both with a bright view from his windows as you stepped in time with the beat. How lucky you were to have a man that actually danced and had rhythm!
It wasn’t long before Rengoku began leading you into an easy waltz, circling around the furniture and glass table with easy steps. No lie, but it took you a couple tries to get it right as you followed his moves.
‘Simply captivating,’ you got lost in his bright gaze. You believed that no man would have your heart, that no man would take your freedom and make you theirs entirely. Rengoku didn’t have to prove himself to you that he was the man for you, or that you’d never meet someone like him ever again in your life. He was just himself, and it was really all it took.
You respected and trusted him from that first week on, believing in everything that he was before your very eyes. He felt comfortable to be himself with you, and you felt the same. Someone needed to pinch you because you really felt that you had been indulging in the most wonderful daydream that--
“I love you, Kyōjurō.”
He stopped the waltz and stared at you intensely. “Nanto iimashita ka?” (What did you say?) Just once more. “Mou ichido itte yo.” He asked slowly.
You took in a deep breath, answering him as he asked, “Ai shiteru yo, Kyōjurō.” (I love you, Kyōjurō; ai shiteru is said as having a strong adoration or commitment to said person.)
“[Anata wa] hontou ni boku wo aishiteru ka?” (Do you really [love me]?)
“Yes, yes, and yes!” You wound your arms around his neck, kissing him sweetly.
He picked you up with ease, holding you Bridal style and kissing all over your face. “My Sunflower loves me!” His heart was a flutter and his mind swimming with future memories yet made. “Marry me, _____! When you graduate,” as he was in his third to last year now, “Let’s make it happen! Do you accept?”
Those last three words were so familiar, and so heartfelt, “From teacher to boyfriend to fiancé, you work fast!”
“I want to pick up where we left off!” He sat down on the couch with you still in his arms. “I want a life with you, _____.”
“Then let me ask you this: how did you know that I was the one? We talked about experiencing another in our dreams, but what made the connection for you?”
“We have a saying for that feeling, hitomebore.”
“Hitomebore? What does that mean?”
His smile, oh, how his smile was so bright. Brighter than the moon, brighter than the sun, and brighter than the stars above. “Love at first sight.”
From anyone else, you’d have laughed or thought that it wasn’t possible, but Rengoku spoke with such conviction in his voice that it was impossible for you to disbelieve him. His words fit his actions, and his eyes, forever wide and non-blinking at times, always showed you the pathway to his soul.
He made you forget about time. He made you forget about the world. He made you forget about everything, and why was that? Because he made you focus on you, on him, on your life together, on the future that you two were meant to have. You had never felt like this before, and you’d be fucking foolish to go home and choose somebody else.
“We have a saying for that kind of expression,” not really but it fit the moment, and you wanted to make him feel special always, “Home is where the heart is.” You kissed him slowly, reveling and savoring this moment as if it were your last. “And my heart is with you,” as cheesy as it finished but it was true. “Don’t break it now,” you cupped his face firmly, whispering, “Or I’ll make your life a miserable hell for as long as we both live.”
Your promising threat, as dangerous as it sounded, made Rengoku smile even more. Your words of torment translated in his mind as words of affirmation, that you really wanted the same thing he did. He knew that he moved on with you fast. That’s because he didn’t want to miss out on his opportunity and be left in limbo with the ‘what if’s and the ‘should’ve, could’ve, would’ve’. His father found the love of his life, Ruka, a caring wife and amazing mother, and had him and Senjuro.
Rengoku wanted that same feeling, that same experience of love, not a whirlwind of romance. He was right to refuse the former arrangements, to follow his heart, and listen to his dreams.
“You’ll never have to worry,” the realization hit him, “As I’ll always stay by your side,” that you’d be leaving for two long years, “Until death.” One more week to hold you. One more week to kiss you. One more week to see you. One more week to feel you. One more week to make love to you. Every moment from here on out, he’d make it count. To make sure that when you left Japan, he’d be on your mind for the next two years.
Just-
“I can’t wait until we can start our life together, _____!” He blurted out as he held you tight and kissed you passionately, surprising you.
You chuckled and kissed him back. “Neither can I, Kyoujurou. Neither can I.”
                                                ( s p a c e )
Maybe everyone was under the weather yesterday, or maybe Rengoku’s friends were sick from the food they ate at lunch, or maybe it was the thought of leaving that made them ill? Whatever it was, you and Rengoku made no notice of it.
That’s because the sickening sight was the two of you!
Both of you were stuck together like glue, not having a single care in the world or a fuck to give to anyone who fussed, side-eyed, gossiped, or stared at you two. Yes, yes, interracial couples were a rare sight, but a lot of them couldn’t handle the constant shock from the public displays of affection.
Rengoku happily hoisted you into his arms and littered your faces with kisses as per his usual. He didn’t want to let you go. He didn’t want to set you down, in case you suddenly vanished from his sights. You were about to leave in two days, and, as your fiancé, it was his sworn duty to shower you with love and affection until you were no longer in his grasp.
He had gotten so used to having you by his side. He was going to miss lying on your chest, kissing your neck, feeding you, cupping your ass, your laughter, your smile, everything! Anyone that tried persuading him to be considerate of other people, this was the one time he didn’t oblige their request whatsoever.
Especially during lunchtime, your favorite time of the day because, after Rengoku’s crazy one-on-one Japanese sessions, you both were on each other in an instant, hand in hand, lip locked - just crazy in love.
People like Sanemi were sick of seeing it. Rengoku bought your lunch, set you down first, and even fed you, and it got him riled up every day! That was a tinge of jealousy coming out, as Tengen often told the both of you. He loved seeing his best friend be so happy and ready for married life. That way, he could live vicariously through him while he still hoe’d out. Kanae admired how strong the two of you had become, and how great it was to see Rengoku shine more than ever. Gyomei continuously prayed for both of your well-beings of this journey to be together.
Today, the cafeteria was full of life and bustling, meaning seats were of short commodity. And would you look at that, there was only a seat left. You looked between his friends and your classmates over yonder, seeing just two seats open in different locations. “There’s only one seat left. And I wouldn’t want to take you from your friends since I’ve been occupying your time for nearly a month now.”
“Finally…” Sanemi huffed with a roll of his eyes.
“Nonsense! When there is a will, there is a way!”
“Hmm?” Rengoku made space for your trays and sat down with his legs spread, offering you a gracious spot on his lap. “Are you sure? I wouldn’t want to make it uncomfortable for you to eat.”
“Not at all!” He grabbed your hands and guided you down to his lap, instantly wrapping his arms around your waist.
“Oh, I see. You want me to feed you, right?” Rengoku’s smile widened as he nodded glorious sunset hair vigorously. “Anything for you.”
Sanemi physically wanted to groan out of existence. He was not used to seeing this kind of PDA at all and he just didn’t understand how to handle it, though, deep down inside, he was happy for Rengoku, but so annoyed.
“You two are looking more like newlyweds on their honeymoon than boyfriend and girlfriend which I am all here for.” Tengen commented.
“That’s because--,” you paused to feed your man, “You wanna keep speeding in the fast lane. So many girls, so little time.”
“See? She gets it! That’s what I like about you, _____! Soon as you finish school, we're gonna be waiting for ya here. You're gonna marry my boy over there. I’m the best man, after all.”
“Have you told your parents yet?” Kanae asked.
“I will when I get back home. I want to tell them about everything we did together, everything we talked about, and what we want to do in the future.”
“Do you believe that they will be able to accept this?” Gyomei inquired, “As you are their only child, they may be unable to let you go.”
“You do have a point, but they will have their family and each other. Almost everyone on both sides of my family still lives in my hometown.” You continued feeding Rengoku who simply listened to the discussion at hand. “I already wanted to live here before I even landed. Kyojuro made me feel at home. I want to keep this man in my life forever.”
“Finish college and hurry the hell back!” Sanemi finally exclaimed, “So we won’t have to hear him go on about you forever.” Because, yes, there wasn’t going to be a day Rengoku wasn’t going to have your name in his mouth.
“Yeah! He’s gonna go crazy when you leave.”
“Don’t worry! I’ll come back.” You locked eyes with him, smiling. “Just for you.”
                                                ( s p a c e )
You weren’t one for giving head so willy-nilly, but you loved giving Rengoku some sloppy toppy, your new, not so secret, favorite activity. His muscular frame was spread out before you on his cushioned sofa with one hand gripping the arm and the other grasping onto your locs once more as you proceeded to give him head.
It was something about the way you spoke about him earlier, the way you looked at him, and the way you smiled that had his heart racing, his blood pumping, and his dick hardening. He thought he was the only one who couldn’t wait to get home until you unbuttoned his shirt and unbuckled his pants with haste as you led him to the open living space.
“Do you know how bad I want you, Kyojuro?” Your words sent shivers down his back as you pushed him to sit with a plomp. You tossed off your shirt and leaned in to kiss him before making a path towards his dick, reminding him of the time you took him in his parent’s kitchen. He’s thought about that occasion many, many times. “How am I supposed to pay attention in our one-on-one’s when you look like this?”
Those glossy lips of yours popped off his tip with a string of saliva following. Darkened eyes cast their way to him, saying everything without a spoken word. You crawled onto his lap, settling your soaked panties on top of his throbbing erection as you both kissed each other feverishly.
Rengoku’s hands found purchase cupping your ass, sinking those large fingers in as he rolled his hips against yours with a throaty groan vibrating against your lips. You had to hold back the will to roll with him as you were on the verge of ecstasy just from kissing, touching, and sucking on him.
As you sat upright, he had unclasped your bra and slid it down your arms. He didn’t waste a moment as he played with your right nipple with his fingers and sucked on the other with his mouth.
The sudden attack took you by surprise, making you rock against his pelvis until you came with an uncontrollable shake. Like damn, he did all that and he hadn’t even fucked you yet. Sensitive, you got him off of you just enough to kiss him as you stopped straddling him and lied down on the couch with your legs up. Your panties were already on the floor, leaving just Rengoku somewhat clothed.
Well, not for long.
He tossed his clothes to the side and moved between your legs, hovering over you before lacing your lips and neck with electrifying kisses. His dick rubbed close to your pussy which had him realizing that something was missing.
“_____, I need to-”
“No, you don’t.”
You wrapped your legs around his waist, holding him in place. He was surprised, as he remembered your words of, ‘no condom, no sex’. Rengoku knew that without it, you could get pregnant, and the thought of having a family with you excited him more than he imagined.
“I trust you, Kyojuro.”
You cupped his face and kissed him sweetly, and lovingly. It actually left him breathless and awestruck. ‘She trusts me… She trusts me!’
His firm grasp softened as he got you into position. He held up your legs, kissing along the inner parts yet untouched. His tickling kisses felt like fire against your skin, building within you another coming orgasm.
Rengoku left your legs resting on his strong shoulders as he positioned himself before your entrance. Where he was going to tear your shit up in haste, he wanted to take a different approach. He didn’t want to fuck you. He wanted to make love to you, to pay amorous attention to you. Slowly did he enter you with eyes never breaking contact from your face.
“Oh…” You moaned as he filled you up halfway. As slowly as he came in, he pulled out in the same manner, repeating as he inched into you bit by bit until he was all the way in. “You’re so deep inside me…” Not even a strong stroke and he was touching the walls of your waiting uterus. This feeling was different, and absolutely, fucking amazing. What was this man doing to you?
He was like a unicorn that somehow found an attraction with whatever purity remained in you. Fortunately for the both of you, it turned into something much more, and now here you were, united in a way you never thought possible. You were set on going solo for most of your life; you were set on having boys coming and going; you were set on maybe never getting married; you were set on never having children.
Rengoku was a man. The very man that made you feel comfortable in your skin; that gave you butterflies whenever he looked at you; that made you feel loved; that made you feel like you were the only girl in his world; that made you feel that you could have it all. There was no one like him, and there never would be.
Realization hits with every stroke, overwhelming you with desire and yearning. Your former grasp of reality had been shaken the moment you both laid eyes on each other. No one could have guessed the both of you being in a whirlwind of a relationship like this.
The feeling was highly mutual, as evident from your newly formed physical attachment. You were a perfect fit, what with how your pussy gripped him with every steady roll of his hips. The spell you put on him, he wanted it to last forever.
He leaned over with your legs still over his shoulders, locking his lips as his strokes hastened ever so slightly. He wanted to savor this moment as much as he could. He wanted to ingrain how you felt, how you looked, how you moaned for an eternity. He was all yours, so long as you’d have him.
And you would.
Your hands anchored around his head, holding tight as you break from the kiss, moaning heavily as he dug deep into you. His tip love-tapped your cervix each time. An inviting pressure that wanted to devour every bit of essence he dared to pour into you.
Each long stroke reintroduced a sensation that has your legs voluntarily moving to wrap around his waist again as you shared an intimate gaze with groans overwhelming the silence in the room. What he was doing felt so good, and so fulfilling, that you came for a second time, adding more slick as you soaked part of the cushion.
He continued through your spasms, overloading your sensitive pussy with harder strokes until they shallow-ed to bucks. It was so much that your nails dug into his shoulder blades, scratching his skin as he held onto your hips and filled you like a baker would an éclair.
You both were a sweaty and happy mess of limbs. “You usually like to talk when we do it.” You ran your fingers through his hair and moved some strands from sticking to cheeks.
“You had me mesmerized, Sunflower.” He fell into your touch, nestling his cheek in your hands. “We’ve truly consummated our feelings in a way that will keep us connected for eternity.” He kissed the palms of your hands and then your lips. “I can’t wait to spend an eternity with you.”
“Just two years and we’ll be together, as husband and wife.”
“Husband and wife,” he repeated, his face flushed red, “When that day comes, I’ll yell it from the highest mountain that you, _____, are my wife!”
“Uh-huh— oh my god!” When he slipped out of you, his cum added to the stain on the sofa. “Oh, I’m so sorry! I made a mess on your sofa!”
Rengoku stood up and got a good look at the wet spot on the beige cushion. He huffed proudly. “Something else to remember you by.”
You swung your feet around and reached out for Rengoku to help you up. “Are you saying that you’re proud of the stain we’re leaving on it?” Rengoku nodded with a ‘Nn!’ “What if your friends come over and see this? We can cover it with a blanket— ah!” Rengoku picked you up, holding you close as he made way to the bedroom. “Why the rush?”
“I want to do it with you again!”
“Again!?”
“Nn! You put your trust in me, and that is the highest honor for me to carry. To love is to trust.”
“Which I do.”
“Then trust me to fulfill my duties as your future husband!”
You held onto him, like you couldn’t let go. Your “diamond in the rough”, and you had but a day before your return. You felt that you had a strong sense of self, that you were strong and could handle the next two years. The way he made you feel now would keep you sated.
                                                 ( s p a c e )
Wrong. You were dead wrong.
You’d been balling your eyes out from the two hour drive from the school to the airport, your hands squeezing Rengoku’s. Saddening feelings overcame you and swallowed you in a vicious cycle of broken sentences and heavy sobbing.
From there all the way to the airport lobby, Rengoku held you tight in his arms and smooched your face many times over. You had become so attached to him that going home didn’t even feel like an option anymore, but you had to go back to finish college, get your degree, your certificate, apply for a job, marry Rengoku.
Two years was looking like a long time, and you were crumbling at the thought of being without him. Those three weeks were the best weeks of your life. Hell, you had even let this man cum in you like crazy for the past two nights. You hadn’t even thought about what you’d do if you got pregnant while you were home.  There were so many possibilities and situations that it made you sob more.
“_____, I’ll be waiting for you, so don’t worry.” He rubbed your back. “I’ll greet you with open arms and welcome you home.” Even he was reluctant to let you go; he couldn’t keep you here just yet. You had your own obligations to fulfill and he didn’t want to be the one that made you quit it all because he didn’t want to be without you.
You were still a sniffling and teary mess as Rengoku smooched all over your face as he wiped the streaming rivers off your cheeks. Every time you tried to speak, or say something, your words got all choked up in your throat. It was hard for him to see when he knew that he wouldn’t be able to be there for you physically.
“Rengoku-san, we must be off,” Mayamoto-sensei called from the TSA line as everyone was about finished with getting their tickets and checking in their luggage, “Make sure to keep in contact with him, _____-san!”
“Nn, okay!” Rengoku hesitantly pulled from you, holding you firm by your shoulders. “I’m glad that we finally met, _____.” His softened voice drew your attention upward, having you hold in your heavy huffs as you finally got a hold of yourself and stopped crying (for now). “I’ll talk to you every day, even if it’s just a simple text back. I’m not giving you up!” His passion shined with vigor as heat warmed your shoulders. “I’ll tell you I love you every day! And that I can’t wait until you’re back in my arms!”
You felt his burning passion through his kiss and felt relief with his affirmations. Regardless, you were going to miss him horrendously once you stepped on that plane and watched the country become but specks of light as it flew over the ocean. “See you soon, Kyojuro,” you smiled for the first time today, “My husband.”
You kissed him once more, returning the sentiment before you headed for the TSA line. You looked back, thinking he’d be gone, and there he stood with his face dropping with each step you took. He didn’t blink nor take his eyes off of you until you were way past the walls, making way to the gate.
When he finally felt ready, he left from inside, returning to the car. Inside and on a 2 hour ride back to his apartment, the driver asked him, “Rengoku-sama, daijoubu desu ka?” (Are you alright?)
“Nn. Doushite kiku no ka?” (Yes. Why do you ask?)
His driver held a couple of tissues to the window through his gloved hand. “[Anata wa] kanashi sou ni miemasu…” (You look sad)
Rengoku took the tissue from him, carefully wiping warm tears off his cheeks. He had always been a strong man, holding how he felt inside well, especially for his Senjuro and Ruka when he and his father didn’t see eye to eye. Ding! He clicked on your message, seeing a load of kissing, crying, and fire heart emojis. And then a short video of you blowing him many kisses. He sent you a long wall of emojis back, and then a video of him catching all of your kisses. The wait was going to be worth it. He believed in that!   - - - - - - - - - - - - - Chapters: 1 (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3) / 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

Hey everyone! Life got really busy and I just simply skimmed over updating this for whatever reason. Well, that, and I had writer’s block for this chapter but I’ve finally passed the hurdle and hear it Chapter 3! This one is also quite long, and so I added a little sumn sumn at the end. Hope this was good for all of you! Really sorry for the slow updates! I hope to finish this series up soon so I can start on one more. Thank you to everyone that has been waiting. ;___; S/N: I’ll edit later for mistakes, but it’s here!

                                CHAPTER III: WHY SO SERIOUS
Chapter III: WHY SO SERIOUS?
The horizon over the waters as you crossed the bridge brought you to a much needed serenity as the driver drove you and Rengoku down to the countryside estate, where his family were currently for part of the summer. You’d be lying to yourself if you said that you weren’t nervous.
“_____, daijoubu?” (_____, you okay?)
“Iie.” (No.) His hand rested on your left thigh, caressing gently to help you calm down. “Shinpai shite iru.” (I’m worried.)
“Shinpai shi nai de!” (Don’t worry!) He reached for your hand and squeezed it reassuringly. “Boku no otouto wa kimi ni aita gatte imasu yo!” (My little brother can’t wait to meet you!)
“Hontou ni desu ka?” (Really?)
“Nn! Hontou ni, hontou ni!” (Really, really!)
At least someone, other than Rengoku, would be excited to have your presence for the weekend. But everyone would be able to tell how many bullets you were sweating on your wrinkled forehead.
“You have nothing to fear! If anything bothers you, come to me! I won’t reject any of your needs while we’re with them!” Rengoku was overly optimistic today. “As your future husband, I will do everything in my power to preserve your smile and assure your happiness!”
“Stop it!” You playfully slapped at his shoulder. “You’re giving me such high hopes for the future.”
“As you should!” Rengoku patted the middle part of the seat. “Koko ni oide.” (Come here.) You slid over happily. Thankful for the one-way mirror that blocked the driver from seeing you two interact, you cuddled up to him as close as you could, rubbing your head along his neck and underneath his chin.
Being next to him was like flying close to the sun, bathing in his positive rays. Character alone made him attractive. He was one of a kind. You felt like he was too good for you, too good to be true. Time spent with him was nothing short of amazing, but a burning pit in your stomach made you realize your growing nervousness. You were meeting influential people. People with money. People with status. People with class.
“Just be yourself,” he reassured you with a kiss on your forehead, “My mother can see through anyone’s façade. It’s better to make a good, honest impression.”
And he was right, because the moment you stepped through their expansion home, slipping off shoes in exchange for slippers after the shōji were split apart by the maids of the home. They graciously greeted Rengoku while giving you quite the side eye. It was a ‘what the fuck is she doing here’ kind of look. Rengoku introduced you with an open smile, announcing the arrival of his future wife to the whole house.
“Onii-chan!” (Big Brother!) Out ran a smaller mini me of himself.
“Senjuro!” Rengoku bent down and embraced his little brothers tight. They both started speaking so fast, you only caught on to a few keywords. You were learning well but your fluency was nowhere past novice.
“_____,” he walked Senjuro over to you, “This is Senjuro, my little brother who I told you about.” You bowed in greeting. He rubbed Senjuro’s back reassuringly. “Senjuro, this is _____.”
He bowed in turn. “You’re my big brother’s wife now, right?”
“Eh!?” Your jaw dropped. “Oh noooo, I’m just his girlfriend for now.”
“Then you’ll be his wife, right?” Senjuro asked with hope in his eyes. “He always talks about you.”
Your cheeks warmed. “He talks about you a lot, too. He’s so proud of you. You’re so lucky to have a brother like him.”
“Nn! And I’m lucky to have him, too!” Rengoku added with a soft laugh.
Senjuro’s blush spread wide over his face as he smiled with a hint of pride curled on his lips. “Mother’s been waiting for your arrival! She already had lunch made for when you came.”
“Oh, what did she make?”
Rengoku took in a deep breath, sighing dreamily. “My favorites, of course! I can’t wait for you to meet her and to try her cooking!” He unceremoniously picked up Senjuro, slinging him over his shoulder and grabbed your hand. “Saa, iko!” (Let’s go!)
In passing, every servant bowed, but it was those leery eyes that made you occasionally peer their way. Eyes on you meant eyes on them, but they were never directly made but you knew they looked at you funny even with Rengoku’s announcement. It wasn’t long before word spread among them about the eldest son’s personal choice in a wife.
He paid them no mind as he walked into the dining room. “Tadaima, Okaa-san!” (Mom, I’m home!)
The most beautiful and serene woman stood and came from the otherside of the table, looking upon her sons with adoration. “Okaeri, Kyōjurō! Mm? Sono kanojo, dare desu ka?” (Impolite/Casual: Welcome home, Kyōjurō. Mm? That girl, who is she?)
“Koibito no _____-san desu yo!” (_____ is my lover!)
Her eyes widened ever so slightly. “Koibito? Sou desu ka?” (Lover? Is that so?)
“Sou desu yo, Okaa-san! _____-san ga kekkon shitai desu yo!” (It is, Mom! I’m going to marry _____!)
One look into his eyes, and she knew it to be true. Rengoku rarely if ever lied and spoke with sincerity and genuity. “Sou ireba…” (In that case…) She stood before you, bowing in respect. “It’s nice to finally meet you, _____. My son has told me so much about you.”
You let his hand go, bowing in turn so that he could put Senjuro down. “Douzo yoroshiku onegaishmasu, Rengoku-sama!” (Formal: Please treat me well, Mrs. Rengoku.)
She chuckled lightly. “How polite of you.” She reached over and helped you stand up straight. “You should be hungry. Come, you can eat with me. You boys will eat on the other side and catch up.” Her gentle smile sent them to the opposite end of the table. Rengoku had his own protests: to have you eat with him but catching up with Senjuro was the better choice.
“You’re majoring as a teacher, is that right?”
“Yes, but not just any teacher,” You answered honestly, remembering what Rengoku told you in the car and when you stepped out, “I want to teach English internationally and live abroad, that’s the dream that I had. I’d love to live here and make it my second home.”
“If you could, would you also marry my son?”
You choked on your own spit. “Marry Kyōjurō?”
She nodded her head. “He’s talked about it for some time.” She sat down and picked up her warm cup of oolong. “He’s serious about you.” She focused on you. “Are you serious about him?”
When you glanced over at him, he was looking right back at you with a smile always gracing his lips. “Why are you staring like that?”
“Oh, sorry, Senjuro!” Rengoku blushed, staring off elsewhere as he laughed.
“Yes.” You answered confidently. Your brain conflicted over the idea of marriage and love; your heart, however, followed the blazing path set before it.
“Good,” she finally answered after a long, drawn out stare. “He was happy getting into the family business and making his father proud, but marrying hadn’t been one of them until he met you. He was kind to every woman arranged, but never had he offered his hand.” She chuckled lightly, remembering Rengoku’s glowing visage on video call whenever he spoke about you. “You’ve caught his eye. Now it’s for his father to approve.”
“Not to be rude, but don’t we need your approval as well?”
She shook her head. “My son’s happiness is all I need to hear and see to know that this is what he wants. However, it’s their father who’s harder to please.” She took a longing sip. “If you can withstand him. He is a proud man, and wants the best for his sons.”
You glanced over at the brothers, thinking if it was right of you to be here. Gaining a particular parents’ acceptance could prove difficult. “I’ll do my best, as anything for him is worth it.”
“As reassuring as that is, only time will tell. But until then, please, make yourself at home.”
“Thank you so much for your hospitality! I’ll be sure to not overstay my welcome.” Politely bowing your head once more, you turned to the many different snacks and treats before you. Oh, where to begin? If Rengoku was closer to you, he’d be picking up each piece, telling you their Japanese name, and then feeding you bit by bit, asking if you liked it or how it tasted.
From the way, he was elated that his mother was taken by you and vice versa. His mother made his worries melt away, like they weren’t even there. She had been his backbone growing up, teaching him the path of righteousness, to be himself, and to protect others.
If it wasn’t for her, he and his brother might have turned out just like their father, who was like a mountain, unyielding and unmovable. It’s how he has expanded his family’s business, by being ruthless in execution. If anything, his mutuals feared him for the power he held in his voice was influential enough to make any business grow.
Rengoku hadn’t told you how scared he would be if he lost you due to his father’s outburst, disregarding anyone he chose as ‘good enough’ for him. He couldn’t imagine being without you. The dreams had finally stopped because he found his person, he found who he was searching for this whole time. Honestly, with all things considered, though he hoped it didn’t come down to it, Rengoku has thought of giving up on the business if his father doesn’t approve of his choice. Losing his family would hurt, but losing you would hurt more.
- - - - - - -
The air in the atmosphere grew tense when the doors opened from the front. The handmaids rushed around, sorting everything as it should be. You’d been watching the brothers showcase their swordsmanship routines and practices. The way he swung his sword looked effortless and easy. He offered you to try but you felt that you’d embarrass yourself in front of the two. As always, he encouraged you to try when you were interested.
“Oh, father must be home,” Senjuro stated softly, “Do you think he’ll be happy about _____-san?”
Senjuro’s question made you sweat some. “Do I need to worry?”
Rengoku’s eyebrows knit together in an unreadable expression, like he was figuring out what came next. You came down, standing next to his handsome, sweating self. “Here comes the hardest part, telling him about us.”
You swallowed audibly. “No pressure. You don’t have to do this. You can just say that I’m a visiting friend?”
“I’d rather hide my head in a hole in shame than lie about our relationship!” Rengoku linked his fingers with yours, kissing upon each of your knuckles. “I love you, _____.” You froze, not expecting that four letter word so soon. “There’s no cheer in my world without my Sunflower.”
You caught the sparkle in Senjuro’s eyes, forever proud and inspired of his big brother saying what was on his mind. This gave the little brother hope for a new addition to the family.
Though it wasn’t long until his father came into the built-in dojo, his own sunset eyes cut low over three bowing figures: Kyōjurō, Senjuro, and _____, the woman his wife, Ruka, had mentioned in passing. You kept your head low and your eyes downcast as you already felt dagger piercing eyes dig into your skin. Rengoku stood before you, meeting his father’s unyielding gaze.
A nod was all it took for Rengoku to bid you farewell for now. “Senjuro will take care of you until we’re done.” Solidifying what his father saw with a kiss on your lips, he walked to his side, leaving you and Senjuro in the dojo as the majority of the maids followed after them.
Senjuro looked on solemnly, eyebrows drooping with a saddened look taking over his face. “So, Senjuro, it’s just you and me,” you started, “Why don’t we spend time together? I’d love for you to tell me more about yourself. Kyōjurō told me you were going to an amazing high school and taking horse lessons over the summer!”
“Oh, yeah! Big brother told me that I’d be good at riding horses. It was tough but now, I can handle riding our stallion! We have a stable out in the field. Do you want to go and see him as well?”
“Of course! I love horses!” You held out your hand, palm up and open.
Senjuro looked at your hand like it was a prize, smiling wide as he took hold. You presented the little brother with the gift of an open-ear, of friendship. And that’s what you both spent time doing. Senjuro took you on a tour of the house, showing you the large rooms, the expansive kitchens, their collection of things, paintings, inscriptions, everything that he came across.
Your head was filled with so much information as your eyes tried soaking in every bit of scenery you both walked through. Where they lived was absolutely lovely, what with the architecture matching that modern technology.
It wasn’t until sometime later that you both crossed Kyōjurō with his eyes slightly downcast. Once he noticed the two of you, he took in a deep breath and put on his bravest smile. Facing you, his brother, or his mother with bad news from their overprotective and overbearing father proved difficult, but it had to be said.
“Onii-chan!” Senjuro ran over and hugged him, “How did Father take the news?”
He knelt down and placed his hands on his shoulders, looking him in the eyes. “Terribly, but his words will do little to hinder my choice.” His eyes flickered at you. “_____ is my soulmate, I know it.”
“A father’s approval can be hard to gain,” you sighed, “I know that feeling all too well.” Rengoku was surprised that you understood how he felt. “They want the best for their kids, and sometimes, that means forgetting what their kids want out of life.” You knelt down with him and put a hand behind his and Senjuro’s backs. “Now that you’re free, why not finish giving me your side of the tour. Senjuro showed me around just before you found us. Then after, we can hit the kitchen and make some special recipe only the three of us will know. You know how to cook right.”
Senjuro shook his head at Rengoku’s nervous chuckle. “My big brother can burn water, so just leave the cleaning to him and I’ll help you!”
“It’s a deal!” - - - - - - - - - - - -
“Sunflower, we can’t--”
You kissed him softly. “Why can’t we?”
Rengoku held himself up against the long island in the kitchen, slightly leaned back with you pressed up against him, lining jaw, neck, and collarbone with gentle pecks. “You said that you had wanted something sweet to eat before you went to bed.”
“I did, huh?” You whispered in his ear before nibbling at his earlobe. Rengoku shuddered from the temptation ready to overcome him, but in such a public area where windows lead out into the open and a maid could walk in. Hell, his parents might make their way down here if they got hungry. “Well, I am feeling thirsty, too.” Rengoku’s reluctance to kiss you drew thinner and thinner. If he weren’t clutching onto the island, he’d have bent you over or spread you out for his viewing pleasure.
“What do you want to drink?” He asked in English, not wanting to give away anything of what the two of you may do to anyone within hearing range.
Your eyes bore into him, “You,” and he gulped visibly.
“Sunflower…”
His body reacted to your touch as you slid his shirt up, fingers smoothing over his musculature. “You’re so handsome,” you kissed down the middle of his chest, “So muscular,” you mimicked him, wanting to praise him the same way he had done for you, showing him your appreciation of his body, “So strong.”
Praise kink.
You slowly dragged your tongue over his left nipple, and then back down. Gentle flicks hardened it, to which you sucked on it in your leisure. His stomach drew in as he monitored his moans. It felt good having your hands on him, your mouth on him. You were the predator, and he was the prey.
With one last lick and a kiss, you gave the right nipple that same amount of attention as your hands drew down to the hem of his silk pants. You pulled back, admiring each nipple at attention before drawing down to the bulge waiting down below. “Such a good boy, already greeting me.” You peeled his pants down and reveled hungrily at the size it had grown.
“I can’t promise that I’ll be able to hold myself back if you continue…”
“I can always stop.” You placed your hands at his hips, moving them no further as you really wouldn’t want to put Rengoku between a rock and a hard place.
“I don’t want you to.” He answered honestly.
“Oh? In that case,” you lowered yourself until you leveled with his pelvis, “Don’t mind if I do. Can you pass me the honey?” It took every ounce of willpower for Rengoku to pass the jar to you. “Thank you.” You opened it up and poured just enough along the tip and halfway down the shaft.
“What are you-- oh!” Rengoku bit down on his bottom lip as you took him in your mouth, licking, sucking, and swallowing the honey off. He felt his knees buckling beneath him as you relentlessly gobbled his shit up like it was your first meal of the night.
One of his hands found its way into your locs, firmly gripping to your scalp as you bobbed back and forth, getting closer and closer to his fiery base. He stared at you as you gagged, his dick touching the back of your throat. The honey, the way you sucked on him, and the wetness your mouth had him bucking and fucking your mouth. You held onto his hips as he took some control.
He ogled your watery eyes, feeling his stomach knot in various twists. Each time you took his dick to the base, his lips parted and deep moans escaped him. Rengoku wanted to pin you on top of the island, pour honey on every part of you he was willing to leave hickies on, and then drive you as wild as you were making him.
As if you read his thoughts, you flattened your tongue and covered your teeth with your lips, wanting this man to go crazy and bust it on you right here in the kitchen, christening a place his parents might have been at one time before. It made you throb between your legs when Rengoku let loose, forgetting his inhibitions for a moment as he lost himself in pleasure.
You weren’t letting go, evident by your grip on his hips. Even more evident when you encouraged him to continue. One last, yearning glance upward and he pulled out some just as he came in your mouth, shooting to the back of your throat.
He watched as his seed pooled into your hands from your open mouth. You retained eye contact after a short coughing fit before drinking what was in your hand down, lapping up whatever might have been left.
Rengoku’s eyes glimmered with desire as he pulled his pants up and bent down, picking you up and throwing you over his shoulder. There was absolutely no way you were getting away with this without reaching your state of euphoria. He wasn’t having none of that.
“That got you in the mood?” You finally spoke up.
“Yes, as I’m quite thirsty myself.” - - - - - - - - -  Chapters: 1 (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3) / 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

IT’S FINALLY HERE! Chapter 2 is finally finished. I’ve been doing a lot this week at the home but what really kept me up and off editing was binging Demon Slayer. The meme factor was so good in the last few chapters I read, as well as the action, that I was up late two nights in a row getting it in. In the future, I definitely plan to buy and own Demon Slayer and Berserk. Now, this one, I took some ideas from my experience of studying in Japan from 2012, as well as others who visited and told me what they saw, and applied it here. Hope you guys like it! And Chapter 3 is on the way!
- - - - - - - -
Chapter 2: Diamond Among a Dozen
Saturday night came a lot quicker than you thought. You’d been with the man officially for a week. Rengoku, as you remembered, wasted no time on becoming your boyfriend. It was the morning after that he said, “After what happened last night, I must make sure I take care of you from here on out! As lovers!”
You don’t know what or how Rengoku got you to agree to being together, but it was far too late to question that as you stood before a restaurant booming with conversation, clinking glasses, food sizzling, and laughter. You spent the whole day with him and now he had convinced you to meet a few of his friends.
“Okonomiyaki?” You smelled an amazing aroma wafting from the restaurant. Rengoku had explained it to you before that okonomiyaki was like making a non-traditional pancake. “Smells amazing.”
Rengoku warmed from your touch. You linked your arm with his, casting him as the lead to which he loved. You were usually the one to take lead in your last relationship, going off from ‘whatever you wanna do’ replies. Here, this flame-headed monster of the sheets brought you out with a plan to be acquainted -or more- with his friends. “Nn! It’s ‘all-you-can-eat’ and they serve alcohol, too!”
You cut your eyes at him. “That’s how we ended up in the predicament we did last week.”
“And it’s how I was able to become your boyfriend!” he answered, proud.
You sighed softly. “I can’t argue with that.” You were attached to his side, arm wrapped around his as you stood just a step behind him. “You do work fast, but the end result is looking promising.”
“Promising enough that you’ll say yes when I propose to you in the near future!”
“You’d put a ring,” you held your left hand out to his face, “On this finger?”
“Yes,” he kissed the top of your hand, “I’d put one on every finger if I could.” You chuckled as he planted more kisses on your hand and then on your forehead.
The moment you two met, you were inseparable. Rengoku couldn’t wait to squeeze in more ‘study sessions’  with you.
You both made quite the interesting pair. Rengoku was already a looker but the fiery mane was well known in the country due to it running in the family, as he told you. And you were ‘that bitch’ that ended up with one of the most well-known men in the country. The stares and the disgruntled looks would have steered you from being out of the spotlight but Rengoku made you forget all about what was happening around you whenever you two were together.
He made you feel like you were the only girl in the world.
“Are you ready to meet them?”
“I think so. I don’t know if my Japanese will be up to par, though.”
“Not to worry, Sunflower! Tonight will be like an English Corner. They want to get to know you and practice English with a native speaker.”
“You’re as native as they come, though, Kyōjurō-kun.”
“Thank you! I have an accent, however, so it is not truly native like yours.” He smiled. “Let’s go in. They’re waiting for us.”
Kyōjurō guided you in, spotting the colorful bunch in a back corner of the restaurant, set around a large table with a built-in grill on it.
“About time you two ‘lovebirds’ got here! I’m starving here!” You were shocked at how naturally the white-haired one spoke.
Rengoku bowed. “Excuse us for making you all wait.” He cleared his throat. “Everyone, I want you to formally meet _____ _____, my girlfriend!” His exclamations of telling people you were his girlfriend made you sweat nervously on the outside but made you feel unbelievably good on the inside. It felt like he couldn’t wait to show you off.
A beautiful pair of violet-eyed sisters caught your attention. “Ah, this is the infamous ‘Sunflower’ you’ve been talking about? She’s even lovelier in person.”
“So are you! And your sister, right?”
She nodded. “Mhm. I’m Kocho Kanae. And this is my younger sister, Kocho Shinobu. She was interested in meeting a foreign exchange student, so I hope you don’t mind her coming along.”
“Not at all. It just means I’ll be watching how I drink.”
“How considerate of you, Sunflower!” Rengoku praised you. “I cannot guarantee I will be able to do the same.”
“Not when I’m around!” A tall, white-haired, dressed to death stud of a man stood up from the table and gave Rengoku a good hug before looking down at you. Goddamn, he was tall. “I’m Uzui Tengen, this guy’s best friend right here. Call me surprised when he told me he had made you his girlfriend.”
You gasped. “You knew!?”
“WE ALL KNEW!!”
“That’s Shinazugawa Sanemi. He’s just hungry so don’t worry about him.” Tengen shooed his angry reply with a wave. “And, of course, we knew. The day before, he told me that he wanted to make it official with you when we went out for drinks. Right?”
“Nn! He told me to follow my heart and take a chance!”
“And now you two are super lovey-dovey, that’s great! Sit down and let’s get to stuffing our faces already!” Sanemi had hangry written all over his scarred face.
“Come on, man, you’re with me.” He nodded at Rengoku to sit with him and Sanemi. “_____, you’re with these fine ladies here.”
The Kocho sisters scooted over as you sat down, sitting across from your bae, your boothang. ‘Damn, this is wild.’ You listened as they talked to the server about what they wanted to get in order for everyone to make their own. They spoke fast, softly, enthusiastically, and charmingly to the female waitress with Tengen flirting with her. ‘I feel like I’m living in a fantasy.’ You observed his interactions with the others, though you were still working on your listening and comprehension, and found him growing on you more. ‘Whenever he speaks, it holds merit. When he walks, every stride has purpose, confidence. Whenever he looks at me with those vibrant eyes,’ as if he heard, he looked your way, smiling wide, ‘I really do find myself falling in love with him, as strange as that is. And nooooo, me, it’s not just because of the sex. That’s a bonus!’
Rengoku smiled your way when he noticed you staring at him. He was brimming with love and affection whenever you looked at him fondly. He reached out his hand across the table, taking yours in his when he felt your fingertips run down his fingers to his palm.
Shinazugawa was shouting, “THAT LOVEY-DOVEY SHIT IS PISSING ME OFF! JUST EAT!!” He happened to be cooking the food. He was surprisingly good at it.
Rengoku laughed it off as he continued holding your hand. Tengen, Kanae, and Shinobu eyed you two. They noticed how much brighter Rengoku glowed when he was around you. It looked like, sounded like, and felt like love.
“_____-san, kare to kekkon suru tsumori desu ka?” (_____, are you going to marry (Rengoku) him?)
Your eyes nearly popped out from your skull when Shinobu sweetly asked you if you were going to marry-- “Kare desu ka?” (Him?) Kanae nodded her head over to Rengoku who happened to be enveloped with Tengen and Shinazugawa in what sounded like an intriguing conversation. Towards you, they spoke English, but to each other, they spoke in their native tongue, Japanese.
You peered at him and nodded your head. “Sou omoimasu yo.” (I think so.) You felt Rengoku squeeze your hand. He heard your response and was feeling even more cheerful than when he announced you as his girlfriend to those closest to him. Imagine him exclaiming at the top of his lungs that you were his wife?
You didn’t think about how your parents would feel about this. You were the only child, and expected to, at least from one of them, get married and settle back home, but that wasn’t truly on your mind. You wanted to see and explore the world, possibly make a name for yourself.
Becoming Rengoku’s girlfriend wasn’t something you had expected. Hell, you even swore off of relationships when you broke up with your ex, that you wouldn’t let ‘love’ interfere with your life. Well, haha, jokes on you because Rengoku swindled that thought out of your head and filled your mind with new, and old, memories of you and him.
You weren’t supposed to just be falling in love like this, but how could you not? There were a few good examples of how he was capturing your heart with ease. His good morning texts were the cutest. He’d message you before walking up to the girl’s dorm so you both walked to school together. He always ate with you at lunch, naming the food gotten from the university cafeteria. He offered to buy you whatever you pleased, though it wasn’t necessary because you had some money of your own to spend. And he was always in high spirits when you were around.
He was just fantastic, but it left you thinking of what his parents may think of the relationship as well since they’ve arranged potential wives for him before, being the influential people that they are.
‘He’s so down to earth,’ you withdrew your hand as Shinazugawa started serving everyone their custom okonomiyaki. Shinobu was puffing up at Tengen wanting to taste yours, Kanae, and her okonomiyaki. ‘So kind. So friendly. So… expressive. So crazy.’ A smile spread on your lips. ‘Maybe I’m a fool for being this into him but…’
“Sunflower! Try some of mine!” He offered you a piece of his first, a good chunk of it held between two slim chopsticks. You accepted by leaning forward and letting Rengoku feed it to you. “It’s delicious, isn’t it?” He dove in himself, shouting out a loud “UMAI!!” for the whole restaurant to hear.
‘Can you blame me?’
- - - - - - - - - -
“It was so good to meet you, _____-san. Let’s meet up again soon.”
“Jyaa mata ne, minna-san! Nee-chan, ikimashō!” (See you guys. Let’s go, big sis!)
You waved goodbye to Kanae and Shinobu as they made their way home.
“Now that leaves only us,” Tengen commented, “Let’s go out to a club! I know one that plays a lot of English music where you’re from, _____-san. Maybe you can show us your moves.”
You were intrigued, “Club, you say?” You were so down. “Let’s go! It’ll be the four of us, yeah?”
“Count me out.” Shinazugawa waved his hand, declining to hang out. “I have some work to finish on. You all have fun or whatever.” And then there were three.
“That’s two of us so far! And you?”
“Of course, I’ll come! I wouldn’t miss the chance of seeing my Sunflower dance.”
“Alright!” Tengen pulled out his phone. “I already got a ride for us. Wait until you see her.” No sooner had he spoken until a car parked right before you. Rolling down the window, you were just taken aback. This girl driving the whip was fine af! Tattoos, unique haircut, simple eye makeup, and a banging fit from what you could see.
“Konnichiwa, bitches!” Oop! If it weren’t for Rengoku stealing your heart, she would’ve had it. “Y’all ready to party?”
‘Fuck, her English is good, too!’
“You betcha sweet ass we are, babe! Come on guys, get in!” Tengen sat in the front, leaning over to give her a sloppy kind of kiss. Hot. You and Rengoku slid into the backseat.
“Gonna introduce me to your friends, Uzu-baby?” She asked.
“Right, right! Kyōjurō, _____, this is Minx, she’s a famous DJ around these parts. Her mixes and playlists are unmatched!”
“You got that right. _____, yeah? Hope you’re ready to throw some ass tonight!”
‘Throw some ass?’ Rengoku questioned.
“Well,” you started, “That depends if he can handle it.” You glanced from Rengoku to Minx, smirking all the while.
“Can I handle it?” Rengoku questioned with a raised brow.
“I like her! You should bring her out more often!”
Tengen, you had to admit, was an interesting character. He had an interesting tattoo over his left eye and wore bright clothes. His whole style screamed flamboyant!
Yours and Rengoku’s styles couldn’t compare. Rengoku wore a white V-neck (his favorite kind of colored shirt), and slim jeans. He was looking mighty thick in them, too.
You, on the other hand, couldn’t believe that Rengoku encouraged you to come out dressed in this matching thin red jacket, short red shorts, and a plain white shirt. Where were you about to run to? She’s a runner, she’s a trackstar looking a--
“And we’re here! Go ahead and throw these on.” Minx handed you three badges.
“Backstage passes?”
“Something like that,” she laughed. “You just don’t worry about getting hassled by security ‘cause you guys are with me tonight.”
“You’re the best, babe.” Another hot kiss for the road. “Come on, let’s go! There’s a few shots calling our names.”
“Shots?” You inquired.
“Every time we go out, we always have a handful of shots!” Rengoku cupped your chin and planted a chaste kiss on your lips, sure to keep things light for now.
“Okay, okay, okay, I cannot wait to see what you’re both like when drunk!” You laughed.
“You’re drinking too.” Tengen said with a straight face.
‘Oh shit.’
- - - - - - - - - -
You three were deep in the water at this point. Not even two hours and you’ve all swallowed a total of seven shots a piece. A blowjob, lemon drop, patron, absinthe, a pickleback (whiskey and pickle juice), tequila, and a sweet mixture called ‘Don’t Go Home Tonight’.
You don’t know about them but you were feeling goooood.
The three floor club was bumping with all kinds of music that each DJ played, but you all made sure to be on Minx’s floor as her mixes got you moving. The crowd was coming in and filling up the bars, getting blitzed in order to get it bumping on the dancefloor that was still somewhat bare.
But when you heard your shit come on, it was over with! The floor called for you. You answered, of course, leaving from between Tengen and Rengoku as you waltzed to the middle of the floor and started dancing and singing your heart out.
“Oh! There she goes!” Tengen shouted as he and Rengoku both turned about face to see you running up to the dancefloor. “She’s something else, man!”
Rengoku ogled the way you moved, the way your hips oscillated back and forth with the rhythm as you mouthed every word to the verses and chorus. You danced like no one was watching you when, at the very least and the very most, his eyes were on you. Greetings from familiars save Tengen went unnoticed as you made the dancefloor yours. The song, as raunchy as it sounded, brought out the playful and exciting side of you like it had when you both went to karaoke last week.
“Oh, that’s my song! I love this artist!” Minx mixed in some J-pop and you were about to go wild before people flooded the dancefloor once they had more liquid courage in them.
You strolled over to Rengoku with your hands gliding up and down your body as you rolled your body up against his, with Tengen and the crowd getting quite the show. You twirled around and grinded up against him slowly as you ran your fingers through his hair and down his neck as you sang, mouthing the words, ‘Tabetai deshō?’ (in context to the lewd song: Do you want to eat me/it?)
Rengoku realized moments too late when you left a cold space before him as you made your way back to the dancefloor. That tease had him thinking nasty real quick, but Tengen brought him out of it. “Go get her, man!” With a push on the middle of his back, Rengoku found himself propelling forward until he reached you.
You were momentarily shocked, as most guys you’ve danced on in the club stayed on the wall, but here Rengoku was with his hands at your waist and pulling you towards him as he did his best to follow your flow.
He honestly wasn’t that bad of a dancer, either.
The world around you shrunk as your attention fell on him. Everything felt too good to be true. Had you shifted yourself into a different reality? A fantasy-- Rengoku broke you from your thoughts as he leaned in. “I’ll take you up on your offer. I know I can handle that.” Now wasn’t the time for him to make you wet... yet. - - - - - - - -  Chapters: 1 (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3) / 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

Chapter 1 (Part 3) is here and it’s full of that sexual turmoil that I have been trying to write out for the longest. I should add in ages as no one stays like that FOREVER, you know. I’m listening to a lot of music to get me through this because I get so heated with writing that I have to take a break sometimes. Hope this is up to par! Just somewhat spicy. (fixing the format, it messed up)
- - - - - - - - - - -
                                              Chapter 1 (Part 3)
You ate those words, unfortunately, as Rengoku won by having three fewer shots of sweet potato shochu (Japanese distilled beverage) than you. Now there you were, sitting on his bed with your skin flushed red underneath and still tipsy.
Worst of it, you had left some important pieces of clothing at the dorm. So you sat there in loose shorts and a low tank top, thanks to Rengoku’s hospitality.
You crossed your arms over your chest, covering nippy buds peaking through the white tank top. You changed while Rengoku went to the bathroom. His return prompted you to be somewhat modest.
“Is my little spoon ready?” He sang cheekily as he came close, noticing your arms. “Is my little spoon cold?” He teased as he crawled up to you on his knees in long, satin pajama bottoms. Other than that, he was shirtless.
Through your stupor, he was a sight to behold. From his broad shoulders to his ab-tastic torso. “M-maybe a little…” you murmured in a soft slur.
“Let's cuddle and get you warm!” He peeled your arms away, revealing what you had been hiding. Lust flashed in his eyes at how your chocolate kiss nipples peaked his way, enticing him for a look, for a taste, for a feel. He resisted, as hard as it was. He had a gorgeous woman, like in his dreams, in his bed, ready to cuddle with him. He felt like a blessing had finally been graced upon him and so it was in his will to go slow for you.
Though. . . He’d love nothing more than to give thanks and show his gratitude.
His mother raised him well. Respectful of your boundaries, no matter the many shots he had, he got behind you and guided you down on the bed so that you both could do just what he wanted - cuddle!
A few adjustments and you were finally comfortable in your little spoon position. Rengoku held you softly in his arms as your back was pressed up against his chest. Your derriere fit against his pelvis just right. And the smell of your hair? Peppermint and other essential oils. And the smell of your skin? Shea cocoa butter. You had no idea how divine of a being you were in his eyes.
Rengoku carefully positioned his arms just inches beneath your breasts. He didn’t want to cross any boundaries without your spoken permission. Hell, he hadn’t even kissed you yet, though, he was close so many times at karaoke but when he gazed into your eyes, you turned away at the last moment while shoo-ing him away playfully.
It wasn’t a no but it wasn’t a yes either.
He wasn’t going to push his luck. Besides, he was happy here. A little tipsy, warm with company, and happy.
You, on the other hand, were not the least bit satisfied with the outcome! You had wanted to be the big spoon so you could feel on this unbelievable, beautiful creature of flames that cradled you from behind. He was the epitome of everything perfect from his personality, character, life, everything!
You couldn’t help thinking, ‘What’s so special about me that--’ you hiccuped which initiated Rengoku to gently rub on your stomach to help soothe you to sleep, ‘Makes Kyōjurō want to choose me?’ You grumbled to yourself inwardly. Alcohol could bring the best and worst out of people, and so far, it was affecting your thoughts negatively. ‘He could have the prettiest and richest girl in the world if he wanted to. Shit, he’s a name-brand icon for hell’s sake! And yet…’ You hiccuped again. “He wants me.” You accidentally spoke aloud.
“I do.”
His response startled you some, but it had you moving. You twisted in his arms and sat up with the tank top slightly disheveled. He sat up as well, sweeping his messy hair from his face as he kept his eyes above your neck.
You followed his eyes when they dropped below your collarbone, drinking in your appearance as he committed it to memory. Yours lowered further and noticed the bump of his pajamas sticking out. You swallowed hard, scared of what he hid just beneath the satin material, but that liquor courage had you acting brand new.
“Can I kiss you?” he asked openly.
“Hmm!” You breathed out. “Kiss me? Yes. Please.”
Rengoku’s own breath caught in his throat at your answer but he found that he wouldn’t waste it as he met you halfway and kissed you softly and fully. Your mind travelled through bygone reveries, shortly reliving a life once had before death. Rengoku pulled back when he tasted salt on his lips, seeing you cry.
He immediately felt guilty. “I’m sorry, _____! I didn’t mean to make you cry!” Wiping your tears as he did before in those fleeting moments made you cry more as you laid your head in the crook of his neck. Your arms were pressed up to his muscular frame as he held you close.
Rengoku knew who he had been looking for so long. He had seen you many times in his dream. The glow around you was unlike anything he had felt. And here you were, finally feeling and seeing what he meant by his and your earlier statements. You drew back to look him up and down as you furiously wiped your tears away.
“Are you okay, Sunflower?”
You nodded. “Do you ever have thoughts or dreams about a past life?”
“Yes, I have. For a long time.”
You both were seeming to sober up, and you wanted to hear the tales of his dreams. “Can you tell me about yours?”
“Are you sure? You look tired.” You dismissed your tiredness as you made yourself comfortable on Rengoku, lying on him. “I worked hard as a monster hunter in my dreams. Like now, I was a really important man in a squad of other hunters. And I could see you clear as day.” He leaned back on the minimalist headboard of the bed, getting comfortable himself as he ran a hand up and down your arm. “Many of my memories were of me graciously bathing in your presence. You were always surrounded by sunflowers. In my dreams, there was no one like you.”
“My dreams made me feel the same about you. The past life I may have lived has been so impacted by you that now, I can’t imagine being with anyone else, even if we don’t work out.” - ‘Like when you died-’
Rengoku’s large hands clasped yours with reassurance. “Here is our second chance to be together, _____. Everything I have stated in the past, I will do without fail!”
“Like us having ten children?”
His eyes beamed. “It is fate that my Sunflower has found me! Even more so now that you have expressed a want for a huge family! You truly do know me!” He peppered kisses along your forehead. “I will do my best to make you the happiest woman in the world!”
“By getting. . . married?” You guessed meekly.
“Yes!” He exclaimed as he lifted and turned your face towards him, giving him a side profile of your features. “I will make you mine.” He whispered sweetly as he kissed the corner of your lips and down to your jawline.
Your body shuddered in such a way that you pulled away from him some. “W-what are you doing to me, Kyōjurō?”
“Hmm? Is this your first time being with a man, Sunflower?”
“Ack! No!” If it were, you would have been even more embarrassed hanging around such a man, let alone be found all up in his bed. “I had a boyfriend before, but that was six months ago. I’m currently single.”
“Hopefully not for long!”
“Oh my goodness!” Rengoku continued making you flustered. “Have you been with a woman before?”
“Yes, based on my family’s arrangement but I turned them all down over time, because they weren’t the woman in my dreams. They weren’t you.”
“And nothing about me bothers you? Like my skin? My hair? Our children will be biracial,” and much more different if they mostly took after Rengoku.
“You are beautiful as you are. There is nothing about you that I don’t like so far! Like I said before, do not insult yourself! Even if I have to tell you and the world a thousand times that you are amazing the way you are, I will do it until my last breath!” He brought you in for a much needed, tight, and loving hug. “What do you think about me? Like my skin? My hair?” He repeated your questions.
You playfully rolled your eyes. “When I first saw you, I thought you were the most gorgeous man I had ever come across. Your hair and eyes are everything to me. You’re crazy, too. I read that men here were soft-spoken. I wasn’t expecting you to be full of energy and forward. You’re so passionate with just about anything you do. It’ll be hard to feel down when you’re around.”
“That’s my job! To make my girl feel good.” His hands found their way down your legs, getting you settled in his lap in two motions. “Really good.” He kissed you in the midst of your confusion of how he coaxed your legs on either side of him but you immediately melted unto him. The moment your hands touched his strong shoulders, you really knew you wouldn’t be able to get enough of him.
Obviously, he wasn’t going to get enough of you either as he slipped his hands underneath the tank top with his fingers splayed over your back, pressing you closer against him. He stole your breath in each session, taking his time even though he wanted to dominate every part of you. He’d leave his mark in his leisurely exploration of your body.
His lips lured yours apart, granting entrance inside your mouth. His tongue danced with yours as he tilted his head to the side, deepening it as he furthered himself inside before withdrawing slowly. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head when he licked the roof of your mouth just as he parted from you.
“Do you want me to make you feel good tonight?”
If he made you any hotter than you already were, them panties would have disintegrated right off your body.
Your mind, however, begged to differ. ‘You are JUST meeting this wildfire of a go- man! And now you’re willing to give yourself to him! I mean, he fine and his voice is super sexy! Girl, he gone ruin you for the rest of your life! You gone have to marry him for real. Look. Just say no. Yeah. Say no, sleep with Jesus in between and--’
“Yes.”
‘Bitch, did you really just—’
“Yes what?” He littered but the softest of kisses along your jawline.
“Fuck me, Kyōjurō.” If Rengoku wasn’t hard before from you sitting in his lap, he was now and throbbing to be inside of you from your vulgar answer.
“I will…” he whispered against your skin before blessing you with another heated kiss, “Respectfully!”
His lips found your neck next and you shuddered as he licked, nipped, and sucked on your skin until red spots darkened on the surface of your skin. He lowered you back and continued downward, kissing over your collarbone and down the middle of your chest.
He held you up easily in his left arm as he pulled down the tank top with his right hand, revealing your soft mounds. He relished in the little by little reveals of your body.
You smelt unbelievably good. You felt unbelievably supple in his hands. You looked unbelievably ravishing in his clothes.
Your voice, though raspy from karaoke, sounded like music to his ears when he cupped one of your breasts and flicked your nipple with his tongue before enveloping it between his lips.
His gentle suckle drew your back forward, obviously working you up on the inside. Rengoku had a very attentive nature; one that followed your movements and sounds at each motion until he drew back, trading one hardened bud for another, giving it the same amount of attention.
Your fingers running through his hair was soothing and electrifying. Every time you gripped on some, it motivated him to continue so that he drew out more moans from you. He was getting addicted more so than he could admit.
Sweet like praline. Sweet like Peachtree.
You cupped his cheeks and brought his face back up. His lips exchanged a taste for your lips, slotting together as his tongue entered your mouth with vigor. His hands hooked underneath the meaty cusp of your ass, holding tight as you both grinded against each other desperately.
Having lost your virginity to your first boyfriend might not have been as appealing as one might think but it had opened you up to a whole new world of possibilities and opportunities.
Rengoku had you in his clutches as he traveled over the parts of your body that he could, leaving his mark wherever he pleased. He didn’t want a soul to imagine stealing you away from him. He was territorial in some aspects, especially over his woman. Even if titles had yet been declared, Rengoku didn’t play around. He was true and forthright.
“Condom,” you whispered, “Do you have one?”
You were scared at how much rubbing you’d do before his dick somehow slipped inside of you.
“Of course.” He leaned to his sleek lampstand, peeling a condom from its hold. It glittered gold with black writing on both sides.
“Good, because I don’t play with my life like that.” Rengoku tilted his head slightly, not sure of your meaning. “As in… no condom, no sex.” You crossed your arms into an X.
“As you wish, Sunflower.” He laid you down on your back and slipped your shorts and panties in one, smooth motion. He parted your legs at the knees and gazed upon your tantalizing shape. You tried to hide parts of yourself from him, feeling a bit self-conscious. Rengoku held your hands in his and rubbed his thumbs over the back of your hands. “I want to see all of you, _____.” He kissed the back of your hands and squeezed them reassuringly. “You’re a work of art.”
For whatever reason, his words filled you with joy, with confidence, with desire. You don’t know how he did it, but he had you. You weren’t a believer in love at first sight, but what had connected you in the past brought you two together, and it was then, even before he’d gotten inside you, that you may be-- “Keep that up and I might just fall in love with you, Kyōjurō.”
“That’s my goal.” He stood up, giving you a full view of his muscular stature. Hardened. Disciplined. Practiced. Your mouth watered when he dropped his silk pants, showcasing his big, thick erection. You wanted to touch it. Kiss it. Hell, you even wanted to suck on it, even for just a bit but you couldn’t show him how thirsty you were for him just yet. He was just overall fine. Your eyes followed his short walk to the other side of the room, dimming the room with soft lighting.
“This set-up is much better than my first time back home.” You awed.
“I hope to exceed those expectations.” He returned to the bed, settling himself between your legs. He kissed you many times over until he had his fill. His eyes lowered, capturing in his sights another beautiful view. Your lower lips glistened with a familiar sheen, preparing for what was to come. Rengoku folded his fingers down save for his index and slowly inserted it inside you. “My, you’re this wet for me already, Sunflower?” Rengoku’s positive and enthusiastic tone lowered dangerously, edging you on sinfully as he fingered you the way he planned on fucking you.
You gripped the sheets beneath you lightly, anchoring your anticipation until he slipped a single digit inside of your warmth. It was nice but torture at the same time because there wasn’t enough of him inside you. “That’s all you’re going to give me?” You verbally hinted at your need for more.
“Oh?” Rengoku withdrew his finger, painfully slow, and slipped it between his lips, tasting you. “How bad does my Sunflower want me?”
“Real bad.” Where your ex-boyfriend crushed his lips against yours during dirty talk, Rengoku lips matched the speed of his two fingers he had now slid inside of you. Sensual and controlled. Your last few times were quick, rushed. You both were inexperienced, and so you assumed you’d been going about it the right way but here you were, under the command of a god. Or so it felt.
He continued his careful ministrations until he felt that you were comfortable with his fingers. Picking up the pace, he furthered his reach within until he was damn near knuckles deep. Your legs tensed up at the sudden pressure he began building and you clamped unto him. One hand clung into his back and the other had fingers dug into his fiery gold mane, holding on tight as he made you lose control over your face and your voice.
Rengoku delighted himself with your twisted facial expressions as you rocked your hips against his hand first in rhythm and then in desperation to finish. He wouldn’t allow you the pleasure of finishing on his hands, oh no, though it pleased him thoroughly inside that he can make you feel and look the way you did now.
A lustful haze darkened your eyes as your blissful grind came to a halt. “You’re not playing fair, Kyōjurō,” you moaning his name lit an ember in his heart and a fire in his loins, “Are you going to give it,” you glanced down at the monster saluting, “To me?”
“I’d hate to make you wait any longer.” He picked up the wrapper off the bed, ripping and throwing it to the floor as he rolled the condom on. He then lifted your lower half up, stuffing a pillow beneath you for comfort and accessibility. “Please tell me to stop if it’s too much.” His mission was to make you feel good, but his goal was to not hurt you in the process. He wanted to gain your favor . “Are you ready?”
“Yes,” you answered, a bit nervous.
He positioned himself before you with his left arm holding him up. He reached back with his right, angling himself right at the entrance. Once the head pressed against it, he gradually sunk in halfway and stilled himself when he saw that your eyes were squeezed shut and your fingernails were digging into his back. He inhaled sharply as concern drew on his face, indicated from his eyebrows.
“Keep going,” you assured him. And so he did, until he was almost all the way inside of you. He leaned over, staring into your dark eyes as he began steadily stroking. The pain only lasted for a few strokes before your body adjusted, but his size was nothing to scoff at. It expanded your walls more and more with each deepening stroke.
Rengoku’s attention is on you and his way to completion. He’d only come after you, but he felt how close you were and he wanted to get you there like this. His groans and hisses were the only sounds he’d make as he didn’t want to take away from hearing you moan, groan, and call out his name. You were still tight even after he fingered you, but you became more willing to take in more of him as time went on, to the point where you were beginning to wrap your legs around him.
He slowed down and sat up, surprising you as he put both of your legs over his shoulders and held them against his chest. He had you then as his other hand found purchase on your ass, keeping you steady as he picked up the pace once more, moving just his hips. You couldn’t believe the control and power Rengoku had as he started tearing your ass up. Your voice got louder every time he hit you in this position. You were going crazy! You’ve never been fucked like this before.
It’s when he leaned down, hands on either side of you as your legs were folded towards you, and stroked in a couple times that your body trembled all over as this Rengoku-induced orgasm rocked the hell out of you. He knew from how tight your hands clenched around the back of his neck.
One look at your face and he pounded the shit out of you, gritting his teeth as he came several powerful strokes later. Sweat dripped down his face and chest, wet from the work he had put in. He was proud of himself for performing well, and happy for being able to please you.
You both stared at each other longingly as you both caught your breath. This time, you finally broke the ice. “So, it’s safe to say I won’t ever be the same again after what you did to me just now.”
He slowly got off of you, shaking his muscles out as he tossed the condom and wrapper away. You shuddered as he laid on you with his cold, sweaty body, kissing all over your salty face. “So long as you enjoyed what I did to you, Sunflower.”
He looked at you for confirmation that he, did indeed, do a good job. “It was ‘I might have to marry you and have ten kids’ good.” Rengoku laughed heartily and littered you with kisses again before rolling over on his good sheets and cuddling you in his arms. You had to admit, for this one off chance of fate, it was treating you right.

CHAPTER 1 (PART 2) is finally done, and this one is a long one. Well, I think. I’m working on it being good, so I hope it appeals to those that have been following the short series for quite a while. When it comes to the more intimate things, I get started but it takes me time to try and make it as plausible and readable as possible. That’ll be coming in Part 3! - - - - - - - - - - -                                                  Chapter 1 (Part 2)
This excited Rengoku. He had never been so head over heels for anyone like this before. He worried just a bit if he was moving things too fast, or asking too much of you at once even after just meeting.
When you stepped off the bus and spoke out loud, it was almost like he couldn’t believe his ears. You had fit into the figure of the woman who appeared many times in his dreams. He had chased that image of you for a long time.
Your exuberant glow lit up his world once you stepped unto campus grounds and it was then that he had to take his chance, introduce himself, and garner as much time from you as possible before the month was over.
Segueing himself as being your teacher with help from your Mayamoto-sensei who encouraged even personal and intimate relationships with the student body helped.
Naysayers from the visiting class group and his friends didn’t deter his determination to have you for himself. Rather, it helped! The classmates shunning made it easier for him to nab you as you were eager to put distance between you and them.
He had to strike while the iron was hot!
“Welcome to my place! Please, make yourself at home!” He took your bag and set down a pair of slippers for you to put on. He saw you still staring around in a daze at his quaint apartment.
“Wow! This is so nice!” His door opened from a fob key, leading into a long and clean hallway that split at the end in two directions. On the left was an open floor plan with the kitchen, living room and dining room combined with spatial sense and an amazing, full view of the city. A door to the side of the kitchen led to the laundry room in back.
To the right were two bedrooms, with the master sporting a balcony. The other bedroom had its own bathroom. The best part of any home had to be the bathroom as it was nothing to snuff at with its large, black and gold oval tub as the centerpiece. On the left side of it was an open, two-head shower. On the right were two sinks and a sleek bidet.
He watched you wander his place with your voice echoing in a melody of awe, wonder, appreciation. “Your apartment is amazing, Kyōjurō-kun! I can’t believe you live in something this spacious.” You stood in the middle of the kitchen, living room, and dining room in amazement.
“Thank you, My Sunflower! I worked very hard to have my parents let me live here on my own as I attend Kimetsu University.”
“Oh? What did you do?”
“Rengoku is a household name branded for excellent sportsmanship in martial arts and swordplay. We have many schools opened across the country that range from learning it for practical use, stunt work for movies, self-defense, and classes for visiting tourists, to name a few.” He set your little suitcase in his room. “I taught classes myself and competed in many competitions to showcase our family’s work throughout high school.”
Truly, he was a hard-working man.
Rengoku expected you to be in awe of his history, but he hadn’t anticipated your hands squeezing on his biceps and trailing over his forearms through his white button-up shirt. “You must have an amazing body!” You complimented. “Unlike myself. You’re all chiseled and hard.”
He felt challenged by your words. He slipped his hands underneath your shirt and sunk his rough fingertips into your supple flesh. “Do not insult yourself, _____! You’re so soft and smooth when I touch you. You feel amazing to me! I really could hold you forever!”
Your head swam, feeling dizzy suddenly from his touch on your waist. It heated fierce desire between your legs. If it weren’t for him holding you up, you’d have buckled from your sudden weak knees.
‘Would telling her I want her be too much?’ Rengoku questioned himself even though he knew how forthright he was. He didn’t want to rush things too fast where her trust and desire for him wavered, but it all felt right from the start. ‘I shall refrain myself and let her decide!’
When thought to have crossed an impasse, you did something unexpected. You wrapped your arms around him in a tight hug, or as tight as you could squeeze. Rengoku was flushed red with momentary bewilderment and hope as he rested his head on yours and held you back.
In his arms, you felt warm and safe. You felt that you could trust him, even though you just met him during this first week and was now all up in his apartment. Call you crazy for accepting the offer but you wouldn’t be able to resist the temptation to make your classmates jealous and to experience more of what the city had to offer. And Rengoku.
“Since I will be in your care today, where should I sleep? On the couch? In the other room? On the floor?”
Rengoku laughed heartily. “With me, of course!” Your face cracked for the upteenth time this week. “I want to cuddle with you tonight, if that is okay with you.”
“... hope you like being the little spoon.”
“Little spoon?” He laughed.
“Yes! As in…” you slipped from the hug and got behind him, hugging him from the back. “This!”
“Oh! I see! I like this very much but I’d like to be the big spoon first!”
You let him go so that you both faced each other. “Well then, how about we compete to see who’s the better singer. They have a rating system so we can go with that. The loser will have to take a shot of whatever alcohol they sell there.”
“We’ll keep count of the losing streak by the glasses, yes?” You nodded. “Challenge accepted, my Sunflower!”
“Hope you’ll like sleeping with your back to me.” - - - - - - - - Chapter 1 (Part 1)/ (Part 2)/ (Part 3) | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

Whew! It is now time to post the sequel for this little short series I made. Again, it’ll be no more than 7 chapters with the parts split if it’s a continuation. I’m super ecstatic to post this. I’ve been thinking, editing, and brainstorming ideas for this so I hope it reads well for you all. So please, come and enjoy KIMETSU DAIGAKU: SUNFLOWER’S BLESSING. The name may change in the future. Other than that, enjoy chapter 1! :> SN: All are welcome to read, but this is a POC reader insert, FYI. That is all! SN2: I studied Japanese for a time and studied abroad but that was years ago so excuse me if some of the written dialogue is rough. Wanted to show (reader) learning the language even if it’s real easy, conversational sentences. SN3: Rengoku in a button-up white shirt, khakis and a tie? *slams down credit card* - - - - - - - -                        Chapter I: RENGOKU-SENSEI, RENGOKU-SENSEI
Everyday, so far, was a surprise when it came to Rengoku.
You honestly didn’t know what to do with yourself. You had thought studying with Rengoku would be an after school sort of thing as you mingled in classes with other students but somehow, he was able to catch you from different periods for almost a whole week!
Mayamoto-sensei encouraged engagement with local students at the university so she allowed you to go with your new teacher everyday. Jealousy riled the others on how you were getting special treatment other than being the only brown-skinned girl on this trip.
It bothered you sometimes, because it wasn’t anything like that! But every greeting from Rengoku was positive and enthusiastic. He greeted you kindly in both English and Japanese. He taught you well, proving that he can be strict, attentive, and instructive. Then, at the end, he’d engage you in short conversations to see how well he was doing teaching you the language and how well you were catching on.
“You did great today, _____! You’ve already made great strides on your flow!”
“That’s because you’re a great teacher, Rengoku-sensei. You did have me sweating bullets the first few days, though. I didn’t think I would catch up.” You closed and put your notebook in your bag. “I feel bad because the others don’t like that I get one-on-one time with you like this.”
“Ah, they’re jealous, I see!” He crossed his arms over his chest, his smile forever wide. It was this pose that had you thinking this was déjà vu, but you don’t know why. “Then it can’t be helped! Don’t worry yourself about what they think!”
“I shouldn’t?”
“Nn!” He locked eyes with you again and spoke proudly with his chest out. “Set your heart ablaze and move onward!” An explosive aura filled the room and warmed your body. “No matter what anyone else says, you do what you think in your heart is right!”
Your heart beat fast and your stomach fluttered with butterflies. ‘Why does he look at me like that? Why does he make me feel this way?’ His burning gaze made you feel like he only saw you in his world, but you shook the thought away.
“Is there something on your mind, _____?”
Your eyes shifted, looking for anything else to say other than what was on your mind. It’d be weird to just be like, ‘hey, I like you and would jump your bones anytime!’ Instead, you found the clock and remembered. “I wanted to visit the flower shop, and see the flower arrangements. I saw one on my way to the girls’ dorm.”
“Let me accompany you!” Rengoku’s open offer made you blush. “I freed myself for the evening just in case!”
This shocked you. “W-what about your schoolwork?”
“I finished it all this morning before meeting with you!”
“And your… colorful friends??” You saw him speak with a few interesting people but he quickly came to you the moment you walked into the fray.
“I have already informed them of my plans this morning!” Your face cracked. He had an answer for everything! “I want to be a good teacher for you and help you as much as I can!”
“Why, Rengoku-sensei?” You asked, curious at what his reason could be.
“Because I like you, _____-chan!”
Your eyes almost popped out. ‘Like me? Like… ‘like me’ like me? Or just like being around me? Whew, boy, you need to stop playing with me because I don’t think my heart can take all of this!’
“Are you ready to go to the flower shop?”
“Y-Yes! Let me get my things, Rengoku-sensei.”
“Kyōjurō.” He corrected you.
“Oh! Kyōjurō…” you circled through the honorifics that he taught you, trying to remember which one was appropriate. “...-kun?”
“Hmm?” He sounded, wanting you to repeat yourself once more.
“Kyōjurō-kun, right?”
A small blush warmed his fair cheeks as he nodded in agreement. “Nn!” He hadn’t expected you to call him that fondly and it ignited his determination to get close to you. A month was not enough time, but he was going to make it work.
You both headed down the slope of the school, crossing a lone shop with beautiful arrangements set everywhere. You ‘ooh’ed and ‘awe’d at each flower that Rengoku named outloud. You repeated, of course. You felt like you were in your own heaven as you gazed at, touched, and smelled the flowers.
You were so happy.
What caught your eyes next were the large, golden blooms held high on long stalks. “Kyōjurō-kun,” he looked over and an overwhelming feeling washed over him when you stood next to the sunflowers, grinning from ear to ear as you asked him, “What’s a sunflower called?”
‘_____, if I could name them after you.’ He walked up next to you, bathing himself in your presence. “Himawari.”
“Himawari. Such a beautiful name for a beautiful flower.”
“I think so, too.” Rengoku wasn’t talking about the sunflower, however.
“Ah, konnichiwa,” you greeted the florist, “Kore wa ikura desu ka?” (How much is this?)
“Go-hyaku-jyuu yen desu.” (500 yen.)
“That’s like… 500 yen, yeah? I think I got it.” As you looked in your bag for the coins instead of breaking the 1000 yen bill.
“Arigatou gozaimasu!” (Thank you so much!) Rengoku bowed and received your wrapped sunflower before handing it to you. “Douzo, _____-chan!” (Here, _____!)
“Ah, Kyōjurō-kun, you didn’t have to buy it for me, but thank you so much!”
“Why wouldn’t I want to buy something for you?” He questioned as you both left the shop. “As I said, I like you, _____-chan! And I want to spend time with you outside of school.”
“Like… together?”
“Yes!”
“Oh, well, honestly, I’d be down for that! Since boys aren’t allowed in the girls dorm, where do you want to go? What do you want to do?”
“I want to kiss you,” he answered shamelessly, “Hold you, and never let you go!” You both made eye contact on the walk back. “Though, I have been holding myself back in case you didn’t like me.”
His words electrified you and he hadn’t even touched you yet in any way whatsoever. “It’s not like you’re handsome or anything…”
“You think I’m handsome?” He beamed suddenly.
You tried playing coy but this kind of mannerism didn’t work for you and, honestly, you liked Rengoku’s straightforwardness. “Yes, I do. When we first met, I liked you instantly. You made me feel so nervous and so excited at the same time.”
“Oh?” He thought for a moment. “Can I hold your hand?” He asked sweetly. “I don’t want you to feel nervous around me, only excited! Happy! Loved!”
“Are you sure that’s okay? Won’t people stare more than they already do at us?”
“I don’t care if they do or don’t! Let them stare! As long as I’m with you, I’m happy.” He gently linked his rough hands with your soft ones, locking them. “I feel I am the luckiest man alive right now because you’re here with me!”
“How many girls have you told that to?”
“Only you, my Sunflower!”
You choked on your own spit. “Your Sunflower? You’re so sure I’m not taken?”
“Yes and yes! I hope to have you for myself as well.”
“For my short time here?”
Rengoku shook his head. “Forever.”
‘Oh my god. Did he just charm his way into my heart?’ You felt the sincerity in his words and saw the genuity in his owlish eyes. “This all really feels like déjà vu.”
“Déjà vu?”
“Like this happened before. It’s… familiar.”
“Nn! It’s fate that we met as we did!”
‘Fate, huh?’ You didn’t notice that you arrived at the girls’ dorm. “Oh, we’re here!” You thought to loosen your hand from his but your arm suddenly didn’t work with you. He wasn’t letting go either. “Our plans tonight are…?”
“Nani o shitai desu ka?” (What do you want to do?)
“Uh!” Always catching you off guard like that kept you on your toes. Besides, practice made perfect. “Karaoke… ni ikitai desu yo!” (I want to go to Karaoke!)
“Nanji ni ikitai desu ka?” (What time do you want to go?)
Your thinking of literally translating what you wanted to say from English to Japanese made each response a little slow. It took time to gain fluency. “Hachiji ii desu ka?” (8 o’clock okay?)
“Close! “Hachiji de ii desu ka” but you did a great job nonetheless! And yes, 8 is fine with me.”
“So…” you felt reluctant to leave him now even if for a few hours, “I’ll see you later?”
“I’ll wait for you to change and pack up some clothes!” You looked at him incredulously. “As I said, I want to kiss you, hold you, and never let you go! At least for a night!” Though he spoke his desire, ‘Am I asking too much from her all of a sudden? I can’t read the cute and twisted expressions on her face yet. It is her choice to—’
“Let’s do it!” Rengoku’s mouth dropped in surprise. “The dorm gates close at 9pm anyway, for whatever reason, while the boys are allowed to go out and do as they please with the gate open.” You huffed, annoyed. “Oh. Where do you live?”
“I live in an apartment 20 minutes down the road.”
“All by yourself?”
“Mhm! I can’t wait to show you! So be quick, Sunflower!” He happily guided you across the gate by the small of your back.
You held in your panic as you got a set of clothes for tomorrow, gathering what you could quickly so you didn’t cross the other students and was out and about with Rengoku as soon as possible.
Honestly, you barely avoided them as you came outside, took him by the hand, and rushed off. They were sure to talk about you, or maybe not at all. You had an over friendly and trusting disposition to a fault, but you were adventurous and open minded. - - - - - - - - - - -  Chapters: 1 (Part 1)/ (Part 2)/ (Part 3) | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

Here is the FINAL part (3) of Chapter VII: War’s End! So glad that you made it all to the end. A rather bittersweet sort of sensation but, it was fun writing this to the very end. I so wanted a happy ending, but I still sort of followed Rengoku’s path and cried my eyes out again but it was worth it. Again, this one I know I could write better so I’m going to work on it. Thank you all for reading through this and sticking with me. This was just so fun to do!

                                      Chapter VII: War’s End
“Everyone ready to go?” Tanjiro asked his ‘lively’ crew.
Zenitsu was sitting with Nezuko who was comfortably set in her box. “Yep, yep! Me and Nezuko-chan are as ready as we’ll ever be.”
“Finally! I can get out and stretch my legs!” Inosuke shouted with glee as he grabbed his two blades.
“Hope you have room for one more.”
“Oh, sure, we do-- _____, is that. . . is that really you?”
“In the flesh.” You stepped through the doorway in just the uniform. Over the weeks, you garnered a leveled bob cut of your locs, an eyepatch over your left eye, and scars littering your arms and around your face. “I’ve missed you all so much.”
“COOOOOOK!!!” Inosuke bum-rushed you into a hug, sniffling loudly beneath his boar’s head. “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?”
Zenitsu joined him, well, more like pushed him out of the way as he hugged you next. “____, WE WERE WORRIED SICK ABOUT YOU!! WE THOUGHT YOU WERE A GONER!!”
“I’m so sorry for up and leaving just like that. There was a lot to process after the Mugen Train incident, and I didn’t want to muddle your healthy minds with my emotions. I wanted to be mentally strong for you guys.”
‘Her scent is still sad. Of course, she has a reason to be. She lost Rengoku-san, and has had to cope with that loss on her own. I know how tough that can be, but I have Nezuko with me still. She doesn’t have any kin or home to return to. Demon slaying is all she has. . . and us.’ Tanjiro’s eyes lit up. “That’s right! You have us.”
“Hmm? What was that, Tanjiro?” You asked.
“We’re a family, isn’t that right, _____?”
His words surprised you, and it made your heart jump with joy. You looked at all four of them as a part of your family. There wasn’t anything you wouldn’t do for them. “You’re absolutely right. That’s why I want to come with you. Besides, as a Hashira, it is but my civic duty to protect Kyōjurō’s juniors.” Tears formed in the corner of your eyes as you spoke fondly of him. “He was so ecstatic to have more apprentices under his belt. Therefore, I must follow in his footsteps and watch over you.”
“YEEEESS!! Having Cook with us will make traveling even better.”
Zenitsu frowned at him. ‘As if traveling with you has been anything pleasant.’
“Now, before we go. I want to see Senjuro. Did you relay the message to him already, Tanjiro?”
“Mhm. As soon as we got back, and when I was able to move. Do you want us to come with you? We’re heading through that direction anyway.”
“Perfect! Let’s be off then.”
You all travelled down to the Rengoku Estate, seeing Senjuro sweeping out of his home. He was caught off guard when you embraced him.
For a moment, there was silence as he held you back tightly, his eyes swelling with tears. Seeing him reminded you of all the times you spent together. The three of you were a team when you and Rengoku were training for the Final Selection. Senjuro, sweet and kind, had a quiet fire burning in him. He was going to be something amazing, just like his brother.
“Senjuro, how have you been? Are you alright?” You inspected him from his ember-tipped hair down to his sandals.
“I’m better now, after seeing you. You left in such a hurry, I was worried that you weren’t going to come back.”
“You’re stronger than I, Senjuro, and I wanted to be that for you. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, _____. Are you leaving with Tanjiro and the others now?”
“Yes. I want to follow in your brother’s footsteps and protect those that I love and those that can’t protect themselves.” You knelt down, looking into his big, soft eyes. “I really wanted us to be together.” You said this, not knowing when death would knock at your doorstep. “I love you, Senjuro. I know you’ll be a great man in the future.”
“Mmm, I think I will be, too.” He hugged you one more time. “I love you, too, _____!”
You returned the favor before you both let go. You reached for your belt, pulling out a small box of goodies. “For you. Hope you like them. Take care, Senjuro.”
Your days, though filled with amazing memories, came to a close as you fell protecting the children. More than anything, you wanted them to succeed. Sacrificing yourself was the only way to win. It was a swift pain, a slow burn, and then darkness bled into your vision as your soul lifted towards the light and your warm, wavering aura vanished from your body.
You were sorry that you couldn’t stay as you walked halfway across the red bridge, spotting flame-tipped hair just over yonder. He peered over his shoulder, a proud smile spread on his handsome features as he held his hand out to you.
Over the red bridge did you both cross, fading into the distance.
                                       ( B O N U S - E N D I N G)
Summer had come and college was out! Most couldn’t wait to spend it goofing off on a beach, traveling across the States, or going right back into school a couple weeks later for summer courses. Many people had many things to look forward to, but you? You had woken up at the ass crack of dawn, taking in the morning air as you raced down the steps with your suitcase fully packed.
“Mom! Dad! Come on! We have to get the airport now! I can’t be late.” Your parents were so slow sometimes and that made you anxious. You could leave them here and catch a ride there or make it on your own but they were not having any of that.
“We’re coming, _____, we’re coming!” Your dad said with a mouthful of foaming toothpaste.
“You usually don’t wake up this early with this much energy.” Your mom added.
“It’s not everyday you get to study abroad in the land of the Rising Sun! I have a day’s worth of traveling to do so I can always sleep later.” Yeah, you didn’t get any kind of sleep last night as you’d be spending most of it in the air.
You hurried them up and sped to the busy airport to meet with the group of classmates you were leaving with. You said your goodbyes to your parents, boarded the plane, and wished for a safe trip.
As soon as service was offered, you grabbed a couple drinks, ate whatever they served in the trays, and knocked out until landing - save for the few bathroom trips -.
Your horizon suddenly expanded the moment you walked out of Japan’s airport, looking around you in amazement. You had to keep murmuring to yourself, “Do not weeb out. I repeat, do not weeb out.” You loved anime, you loved Japanese culture, and you loved their idea of cuisine. Japan felt like the place for you.
“Okay everyone, please come together,” spoke your sweet, endearing Japanese princess of a teacher, Mayamoto-sensei. “We’ll be heading two hours out by bus to Kimetsu Daigaku (Kimetsu University). Rest up and be ready for a little surprise set up by a few students who were interested in meeting you guys soon after arrival.”
You internally squealed with glee. You weren’t dressed up for the occasion but who was going to tell you that you couldn’t wear a pair of sweats on the ride there. With your short locs retwisted and your good outfits packed, you were set to go!
So set that you were the first off the bus and getting your things out. “This is going to be a great experience, I know it!”
“Nn! I agree!”
“Oh my god!” You jumped, scared by the booming voice beside you. “Oh… oh my god.” You had laid eyes on one of the most unique men you had ever had the pleasure of gazing upon. He was different, what with his flame highlighted tips, dazzling eyes, and charming smile.
“Yes. . .?” He slowly stood, his eyes never leaving yours once locked. This man, a vocal and expressive man, was left speechless. He ogled you for much longer than he’s ever done, going over your brown skin, your brown eyes, your short locs, everything! He immediately bowed before you, introducing himself. “Konnichiwa! Rengoku Kyōjurō to moushimasu! Yoroshiku onegai-shimasu!” (Formal: (Hello!) I’m called Rengoku Kyōjurō! Nice to meet you!)
Your eyes bugged out of your face. ‘Shit! Wasn’t he speaking English a minute ago? Okay, okay, what did he say?’ You looked back to see your sensei and the students watching the two of you interact. This was not how you kept yourself out of weeb trouble. Hell, you were still trying to figure out what his fine ass said so fast.
“Onamae wa, nan desu ka?” (Polite: What’s your name?)
You sighed, being able to understand that. “Watashi no namae wa… _____ _____ desu. Doozo yoroshiku.” (Casual: My name is _____. Nice to meet you.)
‘_____?’ He eyed you for a second longer before he placed his hands on his hips, smiling wide from ear to ear. “Very good, _____! I’m Rengoku Kyōjurō, and I am with a few classmates to meet you all. Welcome to Kimetsu University!”
“Woooow, his English is so good.” You thought. Aloud.
“Thank you! I have been learning since elementary! Your pronunciation is good, but your flow is slow. However, I am sure you will improve after being here for a month!”
‘Oh, thanks for putting me out there!’ You smiled nervously. This handsome, wild man was nothing like you had expected. “That’s what I’m hoping for as I’d like to work, live, and travel here in the future.”
“Is that so?” He faced you with his arms crossed over his chest. “Be my student!” Your mouth, along with the others, dropped at his proposal. You looked to your sensei for help, and she encouraged it with an approving nod and smile. “Great, then it’s settled! You’ll be fluent in Japanese in no time!” He looked off to the distance, laughing loud as you smiled in confusion.

Here is Chapter VII: War’s End (Part 2). I low-key cried writing this because, wow, I really do love this Flame Hashira so so so so so so much. I got a bit distracted reading other fanfiction and all that but here comes the second part. Now, this has spoilers from the manga/movie, so get to watching it as soon as possible. However, if you don’t mind it, go ahead and have a read! Please enjoy!
- - - - - - - -
Chapter VII: War’s End (Part 2)
Bright rays of the sun beat down on you as you stood before the oceanfront. The wind blew through your locks and along your skin. In your hands was a net and a few fish caught in them. You ogled them with a tight squint. ‘I know this handwork-’
“_____! _____!”
Your eyes widen. “That can’t be. . .” You slowly turned around and was blessed with a beautiful sight. “Mother? Father? You’re both. . .” Tears flowed like a river as you tackled them in an overdue embrace. You couldn’t swallow the sorrow that crept over your body when you thought to have lost them.
“We’re both what? Other than waiting for you to come home?” Your father was a tall man, standing halfway over six foot. His thick dreads touched the small of his back and his salt and pepper beard filled out his face. He was a handsome man still.
“You must be thirsty, _____. Come on in and drink. You’ve caught enough fish to last us a while.” Your mother was a beauty herself. She had a clean shaven head, a strong jawline, and the legs of an Amazon.
They stood tall while you remained short. You didn’t receive the end of the tall gene pool but that didn’t make you any harder to love, even though they joked about your height all the time. The two of them loved you so much.
Your mother, Oolade, wiped your tears away as your father, Uzoma, got the net of fish from the shore. “We shall eat as kings and queens together!” He shouted. “Look at the bounty our daughter has gathered!”
“I am proud of you, my sweet _____.”
“Mother, Father, please, you are embarrassing me!” You laughed. “Kyōjurō would love nothing more than to meet you both.”
“Kyōjurō?” They both questioned in unison.
“Oh.” Your mind went blank a moment. ‘Why did I say that? Kyōjurō? Who-who is that? His name sounds familiar.’
“Never mind that. Come.” You didn’t even think twice as you followed your mother to your quaint house on the shore that your father built by hand. It was just as you remembered.
“Oolade found some wild rice to make with as well. We’re going to have a feast!”
‘What was I even doing before? I must have been daydreaming.’ There was no questioning this surreal feeling as your parents showered you with love and laughter.
Overwhelmed with a sense of unbridled joy, you thought to never leave him.
You blinked. ‘Him?’ You questioned blankly. ‘Who is this him?’
Time had passed but the scenery didn’t change. “Hey, I’m going to step outside for some air.”
“Hurry back so that you may bless the food before we feast.” Your parents’ smiles, even though forever imprinted in your mind, suddenly dulled in comparison to the image of this fiery man.
You took a deep breath and closed your eyes. You slowly opened them and saw an outlined path towards the woods. You instinctively followed it to a rip into another space. You gasped aloud as you caught a young child making their way to this shining orb floating within a bundle of sunflowers.
The child turned to you, frightened and with the needle pointing towards you. They were sweating and shaking with fear.
“What are you doing here?”
“How did you find me!? You’re not supposed to be able to enter into your own unconsciousness!”
“It’s mine… isn’t it?” You took a step forward.
“_____? _____!” Oolade and Uzoma came running toward the border with sadness filling their eyes. “What are you doing? Come back!”
“_____, don’t leave us!
You didn’t heed their words, but their voices wretched your heart. “You plan to do something? For what cost?”
“Destroying your core will allow me to sleep peacefully and see my family again!”
“And that’s the best way to go about it?” You ignored their calls as you pressed forward towards the child. “Your good dream will end and so shall you succumb to your pain.” Your eyes softened. “You will die a sad death. To a demon.”
“How do you know how I feel!? You just had a good dream!”
“A bittersweet dream. My parents have long since passed. They no longer live in this world. Even this cannot bring them back forever or give me peace.”
The child backed up until he was just a footstep away from your core. “Come any closer and I’ll do it!”
You stopped your approach and knelt down, holding your arms out. “Then you choose. Live your life or succumb to an eternal slumber?”
The child had wanted a good dream of his family, to be happy, but when he saw the look on your face, the look of pain and suffering from even getting a glimpse of what life could have been with them spread over your face.
He dropped the needle and ran to you full throttle, crying his heart out as he embraced you tight around your neck.
This was the right thing to do. Even as good as the dream would be, it would hurt all the more to have it taken away.
The faux warmth of the child disappeared and your eyes fluttered open to an ungodly sight that made you want to throw up.
“What the hell!?” You stood on top of flesh. “Intestines!?”
Rengoku flashed past you by one moment and returned the next. “You’re awake, Sunflower!”
“Did the demon become a train!?”
“So it seems, yes! Kamado and Hashibira are going for the neck. Our job—”
“Is to protect the passengers at all costs.”
“Nn! You take care of this cart and I’ll do the other four!”
“Just one?”
“Your safety is of utmost importance! Aid Golden Boy and the Demon girl as needed!” He kissed you quiet before dashing off in a blaze, hushing your protests.
“That man…” you drew your Nichirin blade, “Is so…” your short dash in the cart made easy work of the disgusting, fleshy tendrils, “Annoying!” But you couldn’t argue with his command or logic. He was sound in the midst of danger.
What you did was light work, and by the looks of it, Zenitsu and Nezuko had the other three sorted as Tanjiro and Inosuke ran for the front of the train. You hummed, slightly irritated at your position. You were getting into none of the action, but you knew how fast Rengoku and Zenitsu were moving by the back and forth teetering of the carts.
‘This train could topple at any moment, especially with all of this monstrous bulk. So, there’s no telling when it’ll--’ A shrill filled the air, disorienting you as the train of muscle crumpled up and fell right off the track. If it weren’t for the demon’s flesh and that Demon Slayer footwork, people onboard would have been seriously injured.
You checked those in your assigned cart and then where Zenitsu and Nezuko were. “Are you guys alright?”
“Mm, mm!” Nezuko nodded as you came over to the slightly slumped Zenitsu.
“Great!” You took him by the shoulders and started shaking him away. “Zenitsu? Zenitsu! Wake up!” He was still asleep, but he only incurred very few injuries as Nezuko had. “At least you two are alright. You really held your own, Nezuko. I’m a little jealous I didn’t get to help out much at all.”
Nezuko, no matter if tired or full of spunk, was just a beauty to look at. You understood why Zenitsu was so smitten with her though he feigned himself a well-groomed ladies man. She offered a soft sound as a response before she leaned up against you.
Parts of the demon’s body slowly faded from existence, leaving now broken windows with an open view to the outside. Rengoku stood over Tanjiro, instructing him as he laid on the ground. Nezuko picked up her brother’s scent and slowly headed outside. Zenitsu followed her sleepily as you grabbed a few people and exited yourself.
Suddenly, the earth shook and dust flew everywhere as something else landed unto the field. You couldn’t believe your own eyes! The aura spiked high as it circled around the tattoo-marked Upper Moon demon. The shine in those eyes were as hungry, monstrous, and devilish as their appearance.
In the blink of an eye, he was just moments away from striking Tanjiro. “Fire Breathing! Second Form! Rising Scorching Sun!” Rengoku’s quick thinking saved him. “I don’t understand why you’d target a wounded person.”
“I thought he’d just get in the way between you and me.”
You froze. You had never seen a demon so fast like this one. It was just as scary as that time in Asakusa. The aura you ingested made you run on instinct, quelling the thoughts of fear or nervousness.
This one looked too toxic. You’d be sick for days. Not to mention, this demon only had eyes for Rengoku.
“You and I have something to talk about? It’s our first time meeting and I already hate you.” Rengoku replied.
“Is that so?” Akaza mused. “I really hate weak humans,” in terms of Tanjiro and others, “When I look at weaklings, I just feel disgusted.”
“It looks like you and I have different moral values in regards to things.”
“I see. Then I have a wonderful proposal. How about you become a demon, too?”
“No chance.” Rengoku declined.
“I know your strength just by looking at you. You’re a pillar, right?” Akaza’s interest in Rengoku shined through his symbolic eyes. “Your battle spirit is quite polished. You’re getting close to Supreme Territory.”
“I am the Fire Hashira, Rengoku Kyōjurō.”
“And I’m Akaza.”
They both exchanged names but withheld their stances. Akaza came to kill and eat any humans as well as convert the strongest ones into those he could. However, no matter the strength, Rengoku was defiant in every sense of the matter when it came to slaying demons and protecting the weak who could not fight for themselves.
But you weren’t out of the clear, however. “Ah, seems like I have a two for one deal.” To your chagrin, the demon noticed you next. “Why don’t you consider becoming a demon, too?” He saw your spirit as well, one with potential of being his punching bag. “As a demon, you can become stronger. That wonderful sword style of yours will keep on improving and we can fight forever! Otherwise, you’ll never reach Supreme Territory and do you know why?”
Silence.
“Because you’re human. Because you’ll grow old. Because you’ll die.” Akaza pointed his finger at Rengoku. “Become a demon, Kyōjurō. You can train for a hundred years. Two hundred years. You can become stronger.”
His face grew dark as he pointed at the likes of everyone in the vicinity, truly disgusted by what he saw before him. Rengoku looked none too pleased with you inserted into the situation. ‘Don’t worry, _____. I will protect you, the children, everyone! Nobody here will die or turn into a demon while I still stand!’ He felt overprotective over you, and found it fit to fulfill his duty not only as a demon slayer, but as a man.
Rengoku couldn’t stand that look of dread and worry filling your eyes. “Growing old and dying is the beauty of the fleeting creature called a human being. Because they grow old. Because they die. They are tremendous. Lovable. What they call ‘strength’ isn’t a word that is used in regards to the body.” He wouldn’t let Akaza spout such untrue words. “This boy isn’t weak. Don’t insult him. I’ll say it over and over again. You and I have different moral values.” His sunset eyes widen menacingly. “No matter what kind of motivation I have, I will not become a demon.”
“I see.” Akaza stanced. “Technique Deployment. Destructive Kill: Compass Needle!” Akaza prepared to fight. “If you won’t become a demon, then I’ll kill you!”
Air waves and flames lit up the area as both Rengoku and Akaza moved at blinding speeds. Pillar versus Upper Moon. You were stuck in place, unable to move. The sudden gravity of the situation skyrocketed and your body froze. Your breath shifted, becoming uneven and quick.
“DON’T MOVE!! If your wounds open, it’ll be fatal! Standby, soldier!!”
Rengoku’s serious voice brought you back, but he demanded no one interfered. Inosoke, who stood at Tanjiro’s side, felt helpless.
It was an explosion of power that erupted, and emerging from the dusty cocoon was an unscathed, healed Akaza and a battered Rengoku. “Kyōjurō…?” His blood-soaked uniform recalled his humanity, his mortality. You were in a state of distress.
Akaza praised him, and employed the idea of becoming a demon, where all his wounds, his crushed eye, and his organs would heal in moments. He’d become stronger, faster, and more powerful than before, but the answer was still no.
Rengoku raised his blade and stared on with a dazzling, one-eyed smile. “I will fulfill my duties! I won’t let anyone die here!”
“You really should become a demon so that we can fight for all eternity!”
“Full Focus Breathing. Flame Breathing. Esoterica. Ninth Style: Purgatory!”
“Technique Deployment. Destructive Kill: Obliteration Style!”
They clashed in one final blow, and the results after the dust cleared terrorized you with your unknown and worst fears.
Akaza punched through Rengoku who held his blade upright. It was but a second before he tightened his grip and slashed at Akaza’s neck which surprised the demon. Rengoku, even as death approached him, remained resilient as he caught Akaza’s other hand, tightened his innards around his arm, and dug his blade further across. As the demon screamed for release, Rengoku screamed for his defeat.
“INOSUKE, MOOOOVE!!! MOVE FOR RENGOKU-SAN!!!”
Tanjiro’s shout broke you from your shock. Opportunity to strike was now or never. At the speed they ran, they wouldn’t reach Akaza as he struggled for release as the sun was due to rise.
‘Full Focus Breathing. Fire breathing. First form: Unknowing Fire!’
It was a split second decision that made all the difference, and thanks to Inosuke. As Akaza panicked upon seeing Inosuke preparing to jump, Akaza suddenly felt weightless below. ‘What? My legs!’
Inosuke stopped just in time, leaving the final slash to Rengoku who pushed with all of his might and brought his searing blade through Akaza’s neck.
“You sneaky bit— oh no! The sun! I have to go, I have to— AHHHH!!”
Dawn broke over the horizon and Akaza’s body disintegrated.
“Kyōjurō!” You helped him to his knees, seeing the condition that he was in. “You’re hurt. Maybe if we can get you bandaged up, we can—”
“I’m sorry, My Sunflower. My stomach won’t close. I will die very soon.” He turned and addressed Tanjiro. “Kamado, my boy. Let’s have a final chat.”
Tanjiro ran over, huffing as tears stained his cheeks. “Rengoku-san, don’t talk too much! Help will be here soon. Just hold on!”
“Just listen to me. Return to the Rengoku Estate. There should be notes about the ‘Dance of the Fire God’. My father read them  many times. I didn’t read them myself, however, so I don’t know what’s inside them. And for the both of you, tell Senjuro to pursue the path that he thinks is right, as his heart tells him to. And tell my father to take care of his body. And also...” He leaned in. “Kamado, my boy, I believe in your sister. I accept her as a member of the Demon Slayers.”
Droplets of water dripped from Tanjiro’s big eyes.
“I saw that girl protect the humans inside the train despite bleeding out. Those that protect humans and fight demons are Demon Slayers, no matter what anyone else says. Live with your chest high. You, Hashibira, Golden Boy, and her will become great pillars.” His attention finally landed on you.“My Sunflower.” He weakly raised his blood-smeared hand, touching your cheek. “Never give up. I will be watching over you.”
Rivers flowed down your desolate face. “Wait for me over the bridge when I cross. And meet me in the next life.” You found his hands and held them in yours. “I-I l-” Words became lost as you choked on every letter, unable to contain the sadness corrupting your mind and heart.
It hurt him to see you like this, and it devastated him more that he wouldn’t be able to comfort you and grow old together. “My life flashed before my eyes and my most wonderful memories were of you. Your warm smile, your touch, your praises, it makes me more determined than ever to be with you wherever we may go or be.”
The last thing he’d feel was your lips on his, stained with his blood. “I’ll never forget you, Kyōjurō!” You said with as much enthusiasm as you could. “I-I love you!”
Rengoku couldn’t help but to smile. “I love you, too, My Sunflower. Set your heart ablaze. . .”
“And move forward.”
Rengoku peered past you and Tanjiro, spotting a familiar shape. ‘Mother?’ You and Tanjiro looked back but saw nothing. But an enveloping aura past you two and surrounded Rengoku. ‘Did I do everything right? Was I able to fulfill everything I was supposed to carry out?’
‘You did a wonderful job.’ A smile to him, a smile to her, and his head drooped. His body rested peacefully in your arms and his fiery aura dispersed as it was no more.
‘Kyōjurō!’ You were too choked up as you sobbed loudly and ugly. Your heart ached just like it had when your parents were eaten by demons.
Your world darkened, stained in your tears and his blood. What was this victory worth now that he was gone?
It was worth every saved life here, and you knew that. It was going to weigh on your heart how you didn’t help him sooner, but his face discouraged you. He took the brunt of Akaza’s assault and held on until the very end.
You mourned over him from that day and weeks later. No one had seen you since the Mugen Train incident. Rengoku had done so much to keep everyone safe, taking his last breath on the battlefield. It had been a hard pill to swallow, one that you had not fully been accepting of even though you were there to see him off.
Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Nezuko missed seeing you around. And especially Senjuro, but you needed to separate yourself and become better. You were no use to anyone lying on your back and crying your eyes out.
With the Nichirin blade in your possession, you carried on silently with a memory of him attached at your hip. His haori? Cleaned, pressed, and framed on the wall. For as long as you lived, his legend would be immortalized. On your shoulders, you carried the burden of loss. Sometimes, it’d hurt so much, your chest would heave and you’d clutch part of your left breast, where the pain ran deep as tears stung your eyes.
You left Senjuro with a kind yet sad smile as you didn’t want to hear the ugly mutterings of his father’s distant, drunk voice. His aura dripped in a drab blue, his melancholy nature surely melting at the loss of not only his wife but now his eldest son.
You hadn’t forgotten about those you loved. You’d be back for them. - - - - - - - - - -  Chapters: I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3)

Happy Birthday to the one and only Rengoku Kyōjurō! I had been working on this last chapter for this series all day but someone - coughmymomcough - kept interrupting the writing process to do miniscule things. So, I am hoping to post it all here today. And by the by, this chapter will be split into 3 parts since it exceeded the usual page limit. Hope you guys enjoy this! :> - - - - - - - -                                                        Chapter VII: War’s End
“Ah! Ah! Ah! Nnn. . . Kyōjurō!” Pupils deep and dark were filled to the brim with lust as nails scratched and clung into the broad back of the Flame Pillar who blessed your lips with a kiss and made your cup runneth over for the upteenth time.
Simply at a loss of words.
Rengoku folded your body between him and the wall. Rough fingers held you up and in position as he plunged deep into you repeatedly, relentlessly. He’s tasted you time and time again, but you swore in the back of your mind that he may eat you alive. Your snarky, sensual comments and verbal ‘fuck me’s were replaced with an endless melody of your moans, groans, and cries.
You had a myriad of Rengoku’s hickeys along your body, a clear indication of possession. He wanted your body to remember him, and only him, from now and even into the afterlife. Rengoku knew, deep down, there wasn’t another woman out there like you.
“_____!” All the Flame Pillar could muster as he focused on this moment. He delved so deep down into your rabbit hole, he hoped to never see the next day so long as he remained in your space.
Kisses were short but needy, with lips in either a constant state of motion with another or parted. Total Concentration and Full Focus Breathing be damned!
You no longer counted the many rounds cycled through. You both had time off. Rengoku saw time better spent becoming intimate and gearing up the baby-making progress.
Your limit neared, and so did his. You held on tight and crashed your lips to his, exploring and moaning into his mouth as he beat that pussy red. It was that last stroke, and that last bit of load, that put an end to those loud but necessary shenanigans.
Rengoku was kind enough to remember to slip from within and carry your dripping self down on the already wet and stained futons. You both had not a care in the world as you both began concentrating on your breathing again.
Mess of locs were lazily put behind your head as you gazed at his beautiful, handsome, heaving self.
You never knew why, but the sight of him and the sound of his voice captured you time and time again, to the point it made you tear. And every time, he’d wipe them away with an endearing smile and positive affirmation. He was truly the one.
- - - - - - - - - -
“Sunflower!” Rengoku called to you, “This will be our last free evening. Then I shall board the train with Kamado, Hashibira, Golden Boy, and the demon tomorrow.”
“On the Mugen Train? Due to the 40 people missing thus far, right?”
“Nn. That is ri--”
“I don’t like this, Kyōjurō!” You inhaled sharply. ‘I don’t know why there is an aura spiraling when I think of the train.’ You got it together. “What I mean is, I want to come with you because my gut is telling me to.” Though your brain disagreed.
“Then come with me! We’ll flush the demon out together and fulfill our duties as Demon Slayers!”
“I’ll make some bento for the road. Wouldn’t want to travel without some of our favorites. Have any requests?”
“Steamed sweet potatoes! Yours are always the best, and since we’re leaving on a Friday…”
“Oh, I’m sorry! I haven’t made you some in quite a while due to the missions. I’ll get started on them now.”
“Let me help you!” You and him both knew that he wasn’t an exceptional cook, but he was able to follow instructions well in the kitchen.
You laughed. “You just want to be close to me.”
He came up behind you, encircled his arm around your waist and kissed you on your neck. “Of course! Time spent with you is precious, _____.” He held you tight. “We don’t know when our last breaths will be.” You folded your arms over his and gripped his wrists as sorrow suddenly filled you. “I want my last moments to be with you, if it comes.”
Rengoku was precious to you. More precious than any gem, stone, or currency. Frowning at his outspoken sentiment, you added, “In the case it happens, Kyōjurō, I’ll be with you, whether in the afterlife or reborn. There’s no one in this world I’d rather be with than you.”
He turned you to face him. His expression was so brilliant, you wouldn’t have minded going blind if he were the last thing you saw. “You bring me much joy, my Sunflower! I, too, promise myself to you and only you, both here, in the afterlife, and being reborn! I want to never be without you!”
“Me too.” With but a kiss and you both were swept away, forgetting about time.
- - - - - - - - -
“UMAI”s echoed in one of the middle carts on the train after every taste in the 10+ bento boxes he demolished.
Compared to you and everyone on the train, he looked like a glutton, but you were happy to see and hear Rengoku enjoying his many meals. He worked hard and deserved to have his fill. Of course, you had to cook huge meals at the Estate you were calling home.
It made you happy seeing him like this.
“Are you not hungry, Sunflower?” He stacked up his eleventh bento box, and readied himself to dive in on the treats you made him. When he spoke to others, he looked elsewhere, staring intensely before him, but with you, he always returned your gaze.
“I am, but sometimes, I just get full from looking at you.” His gaze was curious then. “As in, you satisfy me in ways I couldn’t fathom growing up.” You turned from him, reminding yourself to ‘keep it professional’ over and over again. You wanted to show him all the affection he deserved, but you didn’t want to cause more of a scene than you did when you both walked on the train hand in hand.
Rengoku didn’t care. He turned you about face by your chin and kissed you without regard or hesitation. “There’s no need to hide from me, my Sunflower. I love you for who you are. So, please, kiss and hold onto me as much as you like!”
“Even while we’re on the job?”
“Nn!” Rengoku looked forward with his arms crossed proudly over his chest. “We don’t need to hide our love from anyone! You will be my wife, and that’s that!”
“Aww, Kyōjurō!” You gave in, finally, and smooched his cheek several times. “Have I told you how amazing you are? And how I can’t wait to officially be yours forevermore?”
“Yes, and every time, your words fuel the fire in me and fill me with pride!”
“Good. Now, would you like your three kisses for good luck?”
Rengoku faced you with his eyes closed and lips spread in a wide smile, waiting for you to bless him with many soft kisses.
“Ah, Rengoku-san! _____!”
“Ah, boy with the demon sister!” Rengoku greeted. “You made it!” - - - - - - - - - - Chapters: I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3)

Hey everyone who have been waiting for the next chapter! Life got in the way but I am here to deliver the next (short) chapter. The last chapter to this thing will be segmented in small parts to build through to the end. And if you guys saw the movie. . . just know that I am not ready to write that part yet, but alas, the show must go on! Again, thank you to all who have been reading thus far! - - - - - -
                                       Chapter VI: PROTECT THE CHILDREN
“Hey guys, look! It’s _____! She must have been waiting for us!” Tanjiro called out as he led the group back to the Butterfly Estate.
“Ah! Sweet _____! How lovely of her to greet us at the doors!” Zenitsu swooned.
“Cook!!” Inosuke called you fondly as he ran up to you first. “What’re you cooking for us tonight!?”
“Yama Kujira (white-moustached pig/Japanese boar)!”
“We’re seriously having that tonight? OH, I can’t wait!” Inosuke squealed from underneath his boar head.
Zenitsu gritted his teeth from seeing Inosuke interacting with you so openly, still believing him to be barbarish in every way. ‘No way is he going to help _____ over me!’
Tanjiro spoke to you next, “That sounds great, _____! Will Rengoku-san be joining us, too?”
You sighed longingly, “Later, he will. He’s on a man’s outing with Tengen so I found it best to wait for you guys to come.” You inspected them in the order of their approach, ending with Zenitsu. “You’ve all been fighting hard, haven’t you?”
“Yes ma’am, we have! How nice of you to notice the work we’ve been putting in on the field! It’s not easy, you know!” Zenitsu huffed, feeling proud of himself. Tanjiro and Inosuke obviously had other words for the ‘crybaby’.
“I see that!” You loved how sweet they were to you, so, you found it in your best interest to take care of them. They have gone through a lot, just like you had. It was in you to nurture them. “I’m so proud of each and everyone of you for coming back alive. How about I help draw your baths and get you all settled in? I’ve still some preparations for the yama kujira, so resting is in order for all of you!”
“And the food!?” Inosuke questioned.
“It’ll be ready for you after you all clean off. Though, if you’d like my help--”
“I CAN BATHE BY MYSELF AND MUCH QUICKER THAN THEY CAN!!” Inosuke exclaimed proudly.
“Amazing! Then let me honor your tenacity by pampering you, even for a bit.” You offered.
‘_____ has always been nice and welcoming to us since we met, especially with Nezuko. She didn’t strike first with intent to kill, but to know, to listen.’ Tanjiro had a soft spoke in his heart for you, the so-called ‘foreigner’ of the Hashira. You always showed them a hand of kindness when most others didn’t.
“I brought you something back from the village we went to as well!” Zenitsu handed you a cute kanzashi (hair ornament) with an opposite gradient he had given to Nezuko.
“Oh my, it’s beautiful! Thank you!” You immediately stuck it in your locs, making sure it was in there nice and tight. “If I didn’t know any better, you’re due to make Rengoku jealous.” Even though you were clearly taken.
‘Her scent is sweet, kind, and nurturing. Her aura is captivating and contagious, as he told me many times. I can see why.’ Tanjiro thought of you fondly. ‘Worlds of responsibilities just fall off my shoulders when _____ and Rengoku are around us. It’s comforting.’ Tanjiro breathed in deep with a smile. ‘It feels like. . .’ He stepped forward, ready to get Nezuko inside and bathe. ‘Feels like home.’

You were able to squeeze Senjuro away from his and Rengoku’s drunkard father for a feast that your fiancé will smell from his stumbling walk back to HQ. It was a gathering for the returning children, though others were more than welcome to join the night festivities.
You gazed at the lads eating and picking on another in usual fashion as you pet Nezuko who lied happily across your lap. Tanjiro and Senjuro soon joined the both of you as Zenitsu and Inosuke made fools of themselves as per the usual.
“Senjuro, Tanjiro,” you started, “I’m going to tell Kyōjurō something very important soon. Do you want to know what it is?”
Both answered, ‘Yes, we do!”
“I’m going to ask him if we all can be a family.” You gestured your hand to them.
“Be… be a family? Do you mean--”
“Yes, Tanjiro. I’d love for us to adopt you all, or at least take you all in. I love you all so much that if  we were to see it to the end of this madness, I’d be happy settling down with that idea. What do you two think?”
Senjuro was a bundle of cheer as he sat in between you and Tanjiro. “I would love that! And I believe my big brother would love that, too! He always wanted a big family.”
“All of us as a family...” Tanjiro nodded. “If we’re never imposing, that would be great. More than great.” ‘More than anything else in the world, _____.’ - - - - - - - - - - Chapters: I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3)

Like I said! A couple of days later and the next chapter is here! I’m going to add a few more after this. I happen to be enjoying writing this short series about him so much that... I may make a sequel to this! I underestimated my immediate love for him in the movie and just... I AM RUINED!!
- - - - - - -                                       Chapter V: Glowing with Pride
“Good morning, everyone!” Rengoku greeted as he came in for the meeting, the last to arrive behind Shinazugawa. “Good morning, my Sunflower!” He clasped your hands and kissed you on your forehead. Shinazugawa groaned in the back.
“Aww, look at you two! You’re both beaming this morning!” Mitsuri complimented.
“Thank you! You’re looking good today, too!”
You both fawned back and forth over another as Rengoku stood next to you with his hand pressed on the small of your back, making you tingle on the inside as you replayed this morning’s scenario in your head.
Rengoku had a way with his mouth. He almost made you late meeting up with Shinobu this morning.
“Hey, Rengoku!” Tenged addressed him, “I’m thinking about heading out tonight for a little fun.”
“Oh, that sounds like fun!”
“Yep, but it’s a boy’s night!”
You frowned. “Aww, what? Seriously? We get a little time off and now I can’t even go on an outing?”
“Next time when you and my good friend here seal the deal! Then you can meet my lovely wives!”
Rengoku gave you an “I don’t have to go if you want me to stay here” look and you decided against your selfishness. “Go and have fun. I can’t have all of you to myself.” - ‘Even though I want to.’
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. I’ll have the boys and Nezuko to keep me company. Got news that they’re on their way back today. I’ve missed them!”
“Okay! They’ll keep you company until I come back home!”
The meeting commenced as soon as the doors opened. As per protocol, everyone knelt and bowed down in respect to Lord Ubuyashiki. Meetings were held every six months but this was urgent.
“My children, as you may or may not know, _____ peered into Muzan’s keep.”
Everyone, save for Rengoku, stared at you in disbelief. And it wasn’t long until Shinazugawa spoke out. “We need to charge Osaka and strike when the iron is hot! Kill them before they can kill us!”
“You’ll die before you reach them.”
You and Shinazugawa locked eyes. “Die!? What makes you think I’ll let myself die to some demons!?”
“In his domain, you’re fish food.”
“What?” He hissed.
You stood up and faced him, speaking slowly. “You. Will. Die.” You looked him up and down, tired of his shenanigans. “To be honest, I’m not sure if you’d even be missed.” How desperately you wanted to grasp your sword and strike him.
“Why, you annoying b-”
Rengoku stood before you, halting your advances toward Shinazugawa who growled with want for a battle. “I’d respectfully watch my tongue if I were you!” He looked between you and him. “And as you both know, it’s a violation for slayers to fight each other.”
“He’s right,” you added, “Otherwise, if it weren’t for the position it put me in, I’d be having you lick the dust off of my feet.”
“THAT’S IT!” Shinazugawa shouted with his sword raised, a crazed look spreading on his face, “YOU MAY BE HERE ON THEIR WORD BUT YOU’LL NEVER BE ONE OF US TRULY!” He scoffed. “And you love her so willingly? Tch! Makes me sick!”
“That’s enough!” Giyuu, usually standing in the background quietly, faced Shinazugawa as well.
Rengoku had a say as well on your behalf. “If you have a problem with _____, then take your transgressions up with me! Otherwise, I insist you refrain yourself and keep her name out of your mouth!”
Stinging tears welled in your eyes, first from the frustration this man gave you, but Rengoku came to your side. He stood with you; he stood by you; he stood up for you. His aura burned with anger though he didn’t try to brandish his sword. If it came down to it, Rengoku was going to give Shinazugawa some much needed handiwork.
Ubuyashiki drew his finger to his mouth and the group hushed instantly. “There should be no cause for hostility based on appearance so long as you all carry out your missions completely. “ His smile was soft, disarming. “Heed her word of caution well, Shinazugawa. If not for their retreat, either of them could have come to pass.”
Silence passed through the group as many minds thought pensively.
“For now, we keep to the outside of the city to not rouse him. Prepare for the fight ahead soon to come. I will call for you all again soon. This concludes the ‘Pillar Meeting’.”
You didn’t mean to leave so quickly, but that scar-faced motherfucker really pissed you off. You needed a moment to take in a few deep breaths, to calm down, and go to your happy place because if he rounded the corner--
“What’s her deal!?”
You pivoted around on your toes, dashing with your hand drawn back. You were going to slap the donkey shit out of him! Your fingers missed his face by a couple centimeters as Rengoku nabbed you by the waist and brought you a few feet back with you hanging over his right shoulder.
“YOU GOT A LOT TO SAY WHEN OYAKATA-SAMA IS AROUND! TALK IT NOW! YOU LUCKY RENGOKU GOT ME OR I’D SLAP THAT UGLY SMILE RIGHT OFF YOUR FACE!”
All of them, especially Shinazugawa, heard your shouts all throughout HQ until Rengoku finally made a good enough way back to the Rengoku Estate. It was then that he finally let you down after he felt you had cooled down.
“Feel better now, Sunflower?”
You sighed and rolled your eyes, “I suppose. I’ve you to thank for catching me because I was seriously thiiiiiis,” your index finger and thumb almost touched, “Close to leaving a print of my hand on his cheek.” You huffed loudly. “But thank you, to you, Giyuu, and Oyakata-sama. Keep giving me the encouragement to move forward. The future is what I have to look forward to with you.”
Rengoku took your hand in his and kissed your forehead then your lips. “I shall make it my sworn duty to keep you on the right and narrow!”
“Good! Now, how about I make you and the Rengoku family some breakfast. I’m sure you’re pretty starved after this morning’s appetizer, though we were cut short.”
“You’re right!” He picked you up bridal-style and began speed walking the rest of the way home. “I have to finish what I started! Pleasing you in the wee hours of the morning, day, and night is what I live for! So, of course I always have room for seconds!” - - - - - - - - - Chapters: I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3)

Will fix GIF quality later. I had a better one but, for whatever reason, it wouldn’t update or save the post! //sad face
But here it is! This one is a nice one, I think. And it’s got a tasty lemon at the bottom. As always, thanks for reading! Next chapter will be out in a couple of days. :> - - - - - - - -
                               CHAPTER IV: BLOOD AND BONE
On missions, you both kept it professional. Your first objective was always to save any humans in danger. The second was killing demons on sight. Third was seeking out the 12 Kizuki and Muzan.
Your eyes wouldn’t lead you wrong. With time passing, his aura trailed in a thin line. You slowly followed the trail. You needed your nerves calm and your anxiety dialed down to a 2.
“You got this, _____!” Rengoku cheered behind you. “Just concentrate. I have your front and your back!”
What a pleasure to have him on this journey back to Osaka.
“Nn.” You didn’t quite approve of doing what you were about to. ‘I haven’t done this since Lord Ubuyashiki took me in.’ You returned to that same alleyway from last time and where wandering eyes wouldn’t be on you. ‘This saved me from being killed many times. I survive on instinct thereafter.’ You gently gathered a bit of the aura in your hand and licked at your palm.
Your vision blurred as your brain scrambled to make sense of what it was seeing through this vile taste. You heaved seconds later with beads of sweat dripping down your forehead.
“What did you see?” Rengoku helped you up.
“Doors. Many doors. To… a different place, beyond our reach.”
Rengoku looked at you with concern drawn on his face. “Were you able to see past it?”
You swallowed hard as you tried gaining your senses quickly. “Yes. These hallways never end. They go on and on and…” His aura was honestly the worst. His aura made you sick to your core. “There’s a biwa demon lying deep within, and a corral of Lower Rank Kizuki.” You swallowed again and closed your eyes, as a figure formed in the center. “He must meet with them there. And even to them, he is menacing and dangerous.”
“We should push forward!”
You grabbed for his wrist, shaking your head vigorously. “No!”
“Sunflower?”
“If we were to invade by ourselves, our lives will be cut short. Just like--” doors opened and out came an arm of teething flesh! An upward slash crippled the large arm, splitting its burning flesh in two. “Flame Breathing. Second Form. Rising Scorching Sun.” You jumped out of the way, but this arm went on the offense towards you both. Both of you breathed in.
“Flame Breathing! First Form! Unknowing Fire!”
“Flame Breathing. First Form. Unknowing Fire.”
You and Rengoku blitzed in sync, damaging said arm until it retracted back through the doors. “Just like that.”
Rengoku caught you before your knees buckled. The aura was lingering in you. It wouldn’t be for some time for it to leave you. He wasn’t going to waste time on asking if you were going to be alright or not. He wasn’t about losing you here. “To the streets!” Rengoku dashed with you tossed over his shoulders, coming out where the crowd passed them by, looking at the both of you weirdly. “We have to return as quickly as possible!” Rengoku tried whispering to you as he set you on your feet. “I can carry you if you are unable to walk!”
You shook your head. “It will lessen in pain over time. Let’s head back as you suggested.”
“Right!”
You and Rengoku made the long trip back to the Demon Slayer HQ. You had one hell of a piece of information to tell Ubuyashiki as you didn’t even expect to come across anything this useful. And you won’t forget staring into the depths of moving flesh as it tried devouring you.
Being a Demon Slayer was not for the weak and weak willed. You survived due to momentarily gaining instincts to attack and live, but it was to Rengoku that you both got out alive.
You were certain now, more than ever.
Aoi gave Rengoku a hand by setting up your futon as well as preparing some tea in order to help you recover at the Butterfly Estate. She had never seen his eyes downcast and his brows so close together as he held you in his arms. “Please, take care of my Sunflower,” he spoke at a reasonable volume, “I shall be back in the morning.”
You tugged at his haori to gain his attention. “Warm me as you usually do.”
“With pleasure.” He pressed a warm kiss on your forehead and squeezed your hand with reassurance. “Goodnight, Sunflower.”
He left you with a sirene smile on your face and love in your heart.
The night grew lonely without your presence and it made him feel that he shouldn’t have left you there, but he wanted to be home with Senjuro whenever he returned, but what kind of husband was he going to be if he left his wife by her lonesome? He lied on his futon, conflicted while trying to go to sleep.
“I’ll just go back now!”
“Go back where now?”
The room warmed as your healthy presence surprised him. “Sunflower!” He didn’t waste a breath as he embraced and kissed all over your face. “You’re feeling better?”
“Much better!” You laughed. “I haven’t done that in a long time so it’s due to make me sick, but I didn’t think for that long. I’m sorry for worrying you.”
“It’s okay! I didn’t want to leave you alone so I had decided to make my way back to you.”
“But then we wouldn’t have any privacy.” You wrapped your arms around his neck and drew him into a kiss. As each slow and soft kiss progressed to lip sucking and tongue exploration, Rengoku unbuttoned your uniform while you untied his nemaki (sleepwear).
You trailed your fingers up from his Adonis belt to his neck. You lifted his head up and kissed him from his jaw to his ear. Your lips made a pathway over his chest, his abs, and to the tip of his erection.
“Let me service you.” Rengoku’s body flushed red when you began taking him in your mouth.
“That’s good, Sunflower.” His groans and hands in your locs always turned you on, but they paled in comparison when he looked down at you with lust filling those gorgeous eyes of his.
You held steady at his hips, sucking him sloppily, the way he liked it. You wanted him wet and ready when he entered you. You knew the moment he started stroking into your mouth that he was ready.
It took everything in you to not let him pump his worth down your throat, though you’d swallow with glee. You let him free, staring at your hard work before getting his nemaki and spreading it down on the floor. He needn’t ask as you got down on your hands and knees and looked back at him. “I heard this was a good position for…” you blushed. “You know.”
“My Sunflower is so thoughtful!” He leaned over you with his erection rubbing between your thighs and his hands roaming up to your breasts. He rolled his thumbs over your nipples as he sucked and bit on your left earlobe. He then kissed from your shoulder, down the middle of your back, and to your hefty cheeks.
He gently pinched and tugged your nipples which had you moaning lightly and grinding up against him. He grinned with excitement as he erected himself upright and positioned the tip at your entrance. “You have an amazing back. You know that, Sunflower?” He began praising. “Your legs are strong, thick and yet smooth, soft.” His fingers roamed down your sides and thighs. “I love the way your body looks and feels.”
Ever since he saw how others treated you, he found it his life’s mission to compliment you as much as he could, to show that the girl he saw was extraordinary.
Whenever your gaze fell upon him, he could feel your love and admiration for him every time you two were together. Your energy was unrivaled. And whenever you needed that shoulder to cry on or advice, Rengoku couldn’t help but love how much you relied on him to see it through to your success. It was all worth it to get to here, and speaking of. . .
You lowered your upper half and spread your legs open so that he could dive deep into your waterfall. “Show me how you feel about me, Kyōjurō.” If he could praise the way you looked down below, you’d never hear the end of it, but it wasn’t for here or now. Definitely after the wedding, though!
He groaned once he pressed a well-positioned stroke within you, feeling the walls inside form around him as they always did. He had to have you.
Rengoku grabbed unto your hips and thrusted into you like this was going to be the last time. “I love it when you call my name,” your fingers clenched tight as his strokes echoed out into the hallway, “When you moan,” your lips quivered, “When you scream,” a few soft “ahs” escaped your parted lips as he kept a strong and steady pace, “I love it all!’
He made his intentions clear as he hiked up one of his legs and sped it up. “Nnf! Nnf! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Right there, Kyōjurō!”
“Just like that?” He let up for a moment as he drew back, before plunging down to the base, hearing your voice cry out into the night.
You crumbled first, what with your body shivering from the pounding Rengoku put on you. He put passion into everything he did, with one of them being sure he took care of you first, but you wanted that feeling inside you, too. “Please, fill me.”
He did just that, his body shuddering as he filled your opening, a creampie. Rengoku gazed at your blissful expression with a smile. “My beautiful Sunflower.” - - - - - - - - - Chapters: I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3)

Thank you all who have liked, reblogged, and commented on this Demon Slayer Quickie. Rengoku is just a breath of fresh air kind of character (as are the rest) but his time on screen still hurts. I’ll stop crying about and instead keep posting chapters. I hope to do so nightly or every other day. Let’s love him together! So here is more Rengoku goodness. - - - - - - -                                 CHAPTER III: UNNECESSARY APPROVAL
You sat next to Kyōjurō with your head drawn down. His father had a despicable aura pouring out from him and it made you bite your bottom lip from drawing into a frown. ‘Respect his father. Respect his father. Respect his father.’ You repeated in your head as a mantra.
“Father, _____ and I are engaged and to be wed at the end of this year!”
Rengoku Shinjurō scoffed while not even looking your or his son’s way. “Someone useless like you marrying someone worthless like her? Hmph! How sad.”
Your nails painfully dug through the hakama pants, daring to break skin. He really pissed you off. Rengoku answered him nonetheless. “Do not insult my soon-to-be-wife,” he spoke with a stern tone, taking his stance, “As she will be part of our family.”
Shinjurō shrugged his shoulders. “Do what you want. You’ll die against the demons anyways. What use will you be then? Go ahead and get yourselves killed.”
You bit your bottom lip hard this time, keeping your words to yourself in order to respect Kyōjurō but it hurt to see the pain in his eyes and it hurt you to the core. Here he was with a father and younger brother and the drinker acted like neither of them existed. Your existence be damned, but. . . you didn’t move a muscle until Rengoku moved.
Once removed from his presence, you were ready to burst into tears of anger. How could he, a former Hashira, talk down upon one of the best things in your life!?
“Don’t cry, My Sunflower!” He embraced you close. “I won’t let even his words dim my flames!”
“You’re too good for this world,” you murmured, “And I hate seeing you like that. It hurts to see a living parent not want to be with their kids.” You sniffled. “I wouldn’t put my children through that.”
“You mean, “our'' children, right?” He gently smooched your forehead.
“Our children,” you repeated, “How many did you want again?”
“Ten is a good even number!”
“Eh!? Ten!? How about you reconsider with three or four kids?”
“At a time? That sounds perfect!”
“That’s not how it works, Kyōjurō! And how will I work with so many kids?”
“You won’t have to worry as I will become a hard-working husband and father, to make sure my wife and children are well taken care of!”
“And I’ll get to be a big uncle!” Senjuro exclaimed as he came out of a nearby room, waiting on you both. “And how did Father take the news?”
You sharply turned your head. “Just as when I told him we both became Hashira - not great. Regardless! We are to wed before the end of this year, so our plans have not changed!”
Senjuro ran up and hugged you . “I can’t wait to have my big sister!”
“And I can’t wait to have you as my little brother, Senjuro.” When you looked into their vibrant eyes and loving smiles, you couldn’t ever imagine leaving them for anything. Not even he could make you run away. “I love you and your big brother so much. No matter what, I’ll never leave.”
Rengoku’s chest swelled with pride. “I am the luckiest man to have you as my wife! That’s why I will never stop fighting for you!”
“And so will I!” Your enthusiasm made him bloom with desire. The time of the meeting was, unfortunately, so close, but if fate was on his side, they’ll be on a mission together this time.
“RENGOKU AND _____, MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE PILLAR MEETING!”
“Oh,” you gazed at the crow above, “It’s already time to go. We will be seeing you again soon, Senjuro.” You leaned down and gave him smooches on each side of his cheek. “You take care, okay?”
“I will!”
“What about me, Sunflower?” Rengoku asked. “I want three for good luck!”
You rolled your eyes playfully. “Alright, alright. Come here.” One kiss, two kiss, three kiss, four…
“MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE PILLAR MEETING NOW!”
If it weren’t for the crow, you would still be at the Rengoku Estate, letting him pollinate your flower. “On the way!” You shouted. “Shall we?”
Happy, Rengoku held your hand and began leading the way. “Be good, Senjuro!”
You felt so lucky that both brothers treated you as an equal, as someone who was loveable and desirable. For them, all of what you did was worth it.
‘Fingers crossed that we get paired together. Just have to get through this meeting-’
The sudden push of swarming auras met you at the corner, where the other Hashira gathered. You knew that feeling well. Some still rejected you, even though it was clear and evident that you had the strength and the drive to be a Flame Hashira. It frightened you at times, their inward feelings. You had wished to not be cursed with this kind of ability, however. . .
“Good morning, everyone!” Rengoku made the aura dissipate with every footstep, lighting an open path into the closed circle. Every step filled with purpose. Every word full of confidence. He refused to let your hand go as you both approached them. Shock still riddled them from his rooftop outburst last time. He truly meant every word, and he wanted them all to know that this was real, and it was happening.
Words and expressions were chosen over an exchange of Nichirin blades as fighting another as a Hashira went against the code. Ubuyashiki’s word was law, but if Rengoku had the opportunity if he were not loyal to the code, he’d challenge those opposing to a 1v1, square up or shut up, match.
“My children, good morning.”
You both released hands and knelt before Ubuyashiki’s arrival. “You have gathered as much information as you could, but even still, Muzan remains out of reach, and there have been more cases of demons arising. So, I will group you today.”
His words softened as the confines of your mind filled with indifference of your trip down in Asakusa. You considered another daring trip to see if you can find just anything that’d bring everyone closer to locating his whereabouts. Maybe even where a couple of the 12 Kizuki reside.
“Rengoku and _____, you’ll be heading back to Osaka. I heard you got very close to finding him, _____.”
“Yes, or so I’d like to think. A horde of demons erased his trail, and so I couldn’t follow it thereafter. I believe they sent them to put me off of his trail, and to have me dead.”
“That is why Rengoku will be your partner.”
“Thank you, Master! This arrangement is most suitable!” Rengoku couldn’t help smiling. For once, fate really was on his side!
Even though Ubuyashiki couldn’t see, he knew that the two of you connected. As two Flame Hashira, you both were going to be a force to be reckoned with. “Good. This concludes our meeting. Make haste to your next assignment.” - - - - - - - - -  Chapter: I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3)

Chapter 2 for this Demon Slayer Quickie. Seriously, Rengoku is the best! And so are the other characters. And surprisingly, I haven’t read the manga yet but will be after this post! Finished the anime and watched the movie so I am completely down for investing myself into it, especially since finding out Berserk is going back on hiatus. SIGH. - - - - - - -
Chapter II: Sounds in the Night
Your quaint room only resounded with your footsteps after your return from your mission in Osaka. Since Kamado Tanjiro’s visit, it had been your objective to gather whatever information you could.
Kibutsuji Muzan had been here. His aura left a nasty trail, as light as it had been. In an alleyway, there had been a small massacre and it reeked of his blood. You followed the trail as far as you could before you were tested by demons in search of being recognized so long as they killed a demon slayer.
Even after you finished the kills, there were no more trails to follow, as if it was done on purpose. You cursed mentally as you set down your Nichirin Blade. It was hard to accept this small bit of information gathered as nothing more than failure. It wasn’t enough to flush him out, and to find even one of the 12 Kizuki was asking for too much.
The shōji to your room slid open with slight force. Who could be seeing you this time of night- “Good evening, my Sunflower!”
“Ah, good evening to you, Kyōjurō!” You answered, surprised. “W-what brings you here this late night? I didn’t think I’d see you until the morning.”
“Right!” He stepped halfway into your room with arms open. “I’ve missed you, my Sunflower! Did you miss me?”
He didn’t have to ask you twice as you rushed into his waiting arms and embraced him with all of your might. Since his announcement before the last meeting, you hadn’t seen him in about two and a half weeks. Your schedules were sure to differ, but it wouldn’t deter Rengoku seeing you before heading home.
“Yes, of course, I’ve missed you! It’s been a long 2 and a half weeks since I heard your voice.”
He peppered your face with warm kisses all over, evident of how much he adored you. It just ignited in him a need to love you more. “Come home with me tonight! Senjuro wanted to see you after we both returned!”
“Oh, I bet he’s gotten bigger now. But I can’t stay long…” - ‘Because since our most recent visit, he introduced me to his father as well as announcing that we both became Hashira, but he seemed to care less. His aura felt spiteful and sad.’
“Nonsense! You are always welcome to stay with me! After all, you shall soon bear my last name!”
“Rengoku _____. Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?”
“I wholeheartedly agree! I can’t wait! We should be wed this year!”
“This year!? Shouldn’t we date a little before then?”
Rengoku blinked, dumbfounded. “Hmm? Have we not already been dating?”
“Eh? What do you mean?”
“We have already committed ourselves to another three years ago!” You were caught off guard by this. “You gave me steamed sweet potatoes every Friday, slept in a futon with me many times, and entrusted your body to me.”
A blush darkened your cheeks. “Oh-oh? How so? Um… care to refresh my memory?”
“Nn!” He exchanged your waist for your hands, holding them firmly. There was a soft, somber look in his brilliant eyes when his gaze went over your hands. “Your gifts, company, and affection were but quiet signs of your love for me.” He spoke softly, unusual for his energetic and high volume self. He was serious. “Your exuberance burst strongly from your dedication and your resolve to protect others.” His eyes sought yours. “That night, when you looked at me so longingly, I had to consummate our mutual feelings.”
You could almost cry. “Kyōjurō…”
“No one sees what I see. A generous, beautiful, hardworking woman whose heart for justice burns like mine. I’ve only had eyes for you, my Sunflower. And if I must say it a thousand times for you, then I shall!”
His voice began rising, just as it was in his nature. Rengoku’s passion shined bright and ignited everyone’s will to live and fight for another day, for a better future.
You graced him with a kiss. A real one. Not one on the cheek as you’ve done before to keep face, but one on the lips. “That’s what I love about you. So much that I’m willing to put my life in your hands. There’s no one like you, Kyōjurō. No one can replace you.”
Rengoku’s eyes sparked with hot intensity only seen in battle. “Then come with me tonight! I see no point in us spending time apart except on missions!”
“You make a good point there. Do I need to bring anything?”
“Your blade, your uniform, and yourself!”
And just like that, you were zooming hand in hand to the Rengoku Estate. - - - - - - - -  Chapter: I | II | III | IV | V | VI | VII (Part 1) / (Part 2) / (Part 3)
