So unfortunately we don't get to see a whole lot of Jayden in Void Paradox and I haven't watched Dreams of Estorra but on the Aphmau wiki it says that he's from Estorra and we do get to see his armour a few times but not him. This means I don't really have a lot of hc's for him but I will try and answer this ask!

Jayden HC's Incoming!!

1. He's the type of person to just do whatever he feels like in the moment as long as it's relatively safe

2. He actually really cares for other people but it's that sort of, "This person will literally die in front of me if I don't do something, better save them I guess.. 😐😒🤷‍♂️." Type of way

3. Desperately needs a good nights sleep

4. I feel like Jayden would be very on top of things in any universe, modern or not. Like Void Paradox Jayden was not playing, he had his routes mapped tf out and the caves too. He would hate to be caught unaware so he does his best to make sure that is literally never a possibility

5. He probably throws himself into danger a lot and then sits there like "wtf did I just do." Afterwards because like, did he really have to save that girl from the evil grey man in the middle of the woods and then cauterize the wound? (Yes he did)

6. Ik he gave Aphmau a lot of flack for judging him in Void Paradox but I like to think he probably silently judges people a lot

7. He's so funny, please get behind this bandwagon everyone I think if we gave him a chance he'd literally be such a funny and deadpan friend or protagonist

8. This man is built for the outdoors idc he probably likes it outside better than he likes being indoors because of the open space, that being said the open space also freaks him out a bit because he's always on guard outside so really he just can't exist comfortably anywhere, sorry Jayden 💔.

9. He's built, like he has an eight pack, back muscles, never skipped leg day, everything

Garroth had the most of Garte's "good side" growing up, and as he was their only child at the time, Garte and Zianna favored him. He learned kindness and empathy from his mother as she stroked his hair at bedtime; He learned responsibility and loyalty from his father as the king told him of the future in store for him. He learned love from them. But then his father changed. Garroth learned to protect from his mother, standing in front of her when Garte yelled, just in case. He learned to sacrifice from Garte, complying with the king's many demands and rules "for the good of his people."

Vylad was born into a cold world. Garte treated him well at first, letting the child ride on his shoulders throughout the castle. But that candle of love was snuffed without remorse soon enough. In the end, from his father, he learned hatred and disgust. He had to hide from it. Yes, to hide away and be invisible, that's what he must do to survive. Survive. Survive. Survive. That's all that matters. But.. this cold world was not without comfort. In his mother's arms, he learned pity. Pity for the woman cursed with compassion and pity to all the bleeding hearts before and after her. He learned fairness from his older brother Garroth, who never saw him as lesser or wrong. Finally, Vylad learned that the cruel machinations of the world favored the strong over the good, as he plummeted into the depths of hell.

Zane, perhaps, was doomed from the start, being the young and malleable last son of Garte. Once his brothers died, there was no light that could combat the darkness weaving its way into his soul. Oh, Zianna tried to hold on to him; but Zane had already learned so much from his mother. She could not keep her own children alive. She could not protect them, protect him, as much as she liked to pretend her arms were a shield. She could not love him the same way she did his brothers because she was weak. Zane did not care when his brothers died. He didn't cry when he realized their shared bedroom would be silent forever. He never stared at the empty, faded spot on the wall where the family portrait used to be. Those emotions were useless, as his Father taught him. Zane learned how to get power; to invoke fear; to be a leader; to manipulate; to crush all those in his way without a drop of blood on his hands from Garte. The infallible High Priest, the benevolent leader of the Jury - that is Prince Zane Ro'meave.

Can everyone just stop and think about Travis and Aphmau again, ik I've already posted about them but I'm doing it again because dear god I love their friendship and interactions so so much. I'm gonna talk about the both of them and their dynamic in PDH instead of MCD this time.

PDH is a hard to watch series, it's a little older and it gives me second hand embarrassment every five minutes but besides that, Travis and Aphmau are in their purest states in PDH which is why I think it's so fascinating to watch their friendship there.

Travis is the first friend Aphmau is able to make when she gets to high school. Mind you, she hasn't been out and about making friends for years because of her homeschooling and her just generally being self conscious and socially stunted because she doesn't actively seek out people to talk to, preferring playing video games and chatting online to meeting people in person. With Travis we know Aphmau is the second person in the highschool that he becomes friends with and they instantly click from the moment that Aphmau starts up a conversation with him.

Both Travis and Aphmau are socially awkward which is why I find it pretty endearing that despite this they both find a sense of calm in the other. Neither of them feel alone because they have each other, and as the series goes on they develop such a tender love and appreciation for each other. There's a deep mutual respect and fondness between the two of them and I think part of the reason why is because they've known each other before in a previous lifetime (MCD).

The friendship that they have is important to both of them and Travis even goes as far to try and keep his image in Aphmau's mind spotless and innocent. Travis apparently doesn't have a problem with Dante or anyone else knowing that he's a flirt but when it comes to Aphmau and how she perceives him, he keeps that tightly under wraps.

Rewriting Irene + Shad <3

Irene is such a tragic character, she gives me life. Irene is like a breath of fresh air in Jess's MCD series like-

Irene is a goddess who has been doomed to walk the earth. At first it wasn't bad at all, she enjoyed watching the humans around her live and thrive. She made friends and there certainly was no lack of love from her to them. Still, it didn't keep her from being lonely because even though she loved her friends dearly she couldn't completely connect with them, and she knew eventually her time with them would come to an end because humans just didn't have the same constitution as she did.

Out of all her friends Enki was the one she adored the most. He wasn't completely human and she found this comforting because she'd have more time with him before the inevitable happened and he died, because even a goddess such as herself could not extend anyone's lifespan. But since Enki was a warlock he could do that manually, although he would never be able to live as long as she did that did not stop her from asking him to do so. And Enki complied because he loved her with all his heart and he didn't want to be separated from her either, especially when he had the power to make sure he'd have another few hundred years to stay by her side. She was deeply saddened by the realization that she would have to see everyone else around her die, but eventually, she decided it was for the best and that she couldn't do anything to change their fates.

But then Irene met Shad, and she decided that if he was able to live for as long as he had without having been a god then she too could find a way for her friends to live as she did, eternally. She pleaded with the stars above for help in finding the solution but they did not reply. Irene found something, a way to give those around her the power or reincarnation. But there was a cost to the relics that helped her achieve such a feat, human sacrifice. At first Irene was hesitant not wanting to have the blood of the lives of many powerful people on her hands. But as her friends aged she could not watch them die. She took the lives of those whose souls were strong enough to be turned into a different and inanimate physical form. And thus, the relics were born. The relics she made from people and their souls kept her friends in a constant loop of reincarnation. The only problem was her one true love, Shad. She wasn't able to make Shad a relic because while she represented life and divine delivery Shad represented doom and suffering. It wasn't until their daughter was born that she finally found a soul that Shad, her Shad could finally use a relic and stay with her.

And so she did the unthinkable, she murdered her own daughter.

Shad found out and was furious. Their fighting shook the world and it was so intense that holes ripped into their dimension. Both their psyches had been damaged long before this, Irene had become erratic and bitter, Shad had become furious and manic. So when Shad found out the relic that he took was their daughter, it was like time stopped.

The other Divine warriors loved Irene, they loved her so much that they couldn't see that she was already too far gone and that their solution would push her over the edge. What was their solution you ask? To get rid of Shad. They schemed to get rid of him, unaware of why the two were fighting and what the relics that they had received gratefully, were truly made of and who they had actually come from. Enki suspected Irene had done something unforgivable to grant their friends with their eternal lives but he couldn't have known what that unforgivable thing was.

Today I'm thinking about PDH Aphmau (as always) and if she had a podcast. I <3 the AU I just made up where she runs one.

"Hello Listeners after a brief hiatus I'm back and more pumped than ever to be here. A quick debrief for all the new people here, I do a lot of things on this podcast. Mondays and Tuesdays are listener submission days which means that you send me your stories and I'll pick a few to read. Wednesdays and Thursdays are gossip days and Fridays are streaming days!! I don't do anything on Saturday and Sunday because that's the weekend and I don't work on the weekend!"

CRACK APHMAU AU:

Okay imagine this, Aphmau, but instead of going to Phoenix Drop High she goes to Okhasis Prep. She goes in to take the entrance exam for Okhasis Prep and it's surprisingly easy (Zack payed off the school board bcs he made bank off working with the Ro'meaves so he's loaded and even though he's absentee he pays a shit ton of child support to Sylvana and the mystery woman he cheated on her with)

So she passes and she's accepted into the school after being in a Montessori school (primary/elementary) and then a private school (Junior High/Middle School). So she gets there and who does she meet? Liochant, who immediately takes her under his wing and teaches her all about the school and where to find things. He's also a sub in mentor so he's able to walk around with Aphmau and fill her in about all the clubs and social events that will happen just in case she wants to join a club or go to a pep rally.

After she gets a grasp on the school, she walks around the gym (It's like in PDH when there are a bunch of booths set up for clubs and stuff) and overhears that the soccer team is going to be holding tryouts in 3 months because their previous captain graduated and so did like half the players and the captain never set up a reserve team. She pulls out her notepad because I say so and this is my AU so what I say goes and I decide that she has a notepad with her at all times and she scribbles down that she should remember that.

Then she hears distant screaming and she looks up to so who? THE DAEMOS BOYS. She decides to steer clear of them because now one of the 5 boys in the group is now throwing fireballs and she's weirded out. She goes to her homeroom class after the club social lets out and she's one of the first people there thanks to Liochant showing her where everything is. She pulls out her phone and starts texting her online friend on it (I HATE AARON WITH EVER FIBER OF MY BEING HE WILL BE ERASED FROM THIS AU SOONER OR LATER. HE WILL ANSWER FOR HIS CRIMES🤬)

Then Noi sits down next to her and even though she said she wouldn't ever approach even one of those five boys Noi's just so sweet she can't not talk to him when he starts asking her about herself with stars in his eyes. Basically they're best friends by the end of the class and he offers to introduce her to his friends and she says "No thx haha they scare me..!!" and bolts off to the exit so she can walk home because if it's just Noi it's fine but she doesn't associate with crazy people so the rest of his friend group is off limits.

She's walking and she sees GARROTH AND LAURANCE ON THE OTHER SIDEWALK. She glanced over at them and they look over the Garroth trips over his own feet idc and he falls flat on his face. Aphmau turns her head and looks forward in second hand embarrassment while Laurance tries to help Garroth up off the concrete.

So I just re-read this and it's so bad and so unlike what I usually do it's almost embarrassing. But I'm committed and kind of sleep deprived rn so I'm probably going to fixate on this for a fat minute 🤭
