New Beginnings.

noun:beginning; plural noun:beginnings

the point in time or space at which something begins.

The beginning is something that seems so irrefutable; it’s birth, the opening of college or school years or the start of a bond between two people. Something we almost never consider could be malleable, moulded to fit our forever changing mindset.

The mind is bizarre. An unspeakable power that a vast amount of us struggle to control. Mine… mine was no different, i suffered silently, I panicked inside during the swarm of college gatherings, or locked myself within my thoughts at the slightest weight of pressure. The end of university spelt out more troubles, I pushed myself away from long term friends and let my thoughts overcome any whim of reasonability. I’ve let dreams run away from me, I’ve settled for the the bare minimum of my soul due to the internal scaremongering going on within myself.

That’s where ‘Stay Crazy’ comes in.

I’ve been toying with the idea of starting up a blog for a long time, unsure where to go with it. I wanted somewhere to unleash the whole of me, flaws and all. Even right now I am unsure where this is going, but I want to create something in which everyone can share their bit of crazy. By crazy I am not making a mockery of mental illnesses, I am turning it on it’s head as something that should be celebrated.

To quote Steve Jobs:

“Here’s to the misfits and rebels.”

We are beautiful, and have so much fucking illustriousness to release into the world. This isn’t about mental illnesses. This is to push people to share creativity, philanthropy and it all, instead of dwelling on our own internal battles.

I urge you all to stay crazy and share with me what new beginnings are all about.
