🤣🤣🤣
A co-worker asked me to make them a Godzilla plush for their nephew. I tried my best.
I used glow in the dark thread on the spikes. It’s wonky but I’m proud of myself!

Another amazing designer—Fleeting Obsessions Art—selected me to test her pattern “At the Rock Show.”
Instead of rock concerts, my theme was strawberries. 🤣

This is a no-sew pattern and I LOVE it!

I was super lucky to be selected as a pattern tester for The Entangled Fae’s Twisteria witch hat. It’s a gorgeous pattern and works up easy.
I also made one for my sister!

I highly recommend this pattern to anyone looking for a whimsical and beautiful project.

I wanted to make a raspberry lemonade cow hat. I used lemon slices as the horns, but I’m not sure it’s working.

Watermelon cow!
I loved this pattern and it was pretty easy. I pairs it with a watermelon themed dress. ❤️

Worth the wait? Here’s my Halloween costume! Archie and I were cows being beamed up by aliens. Without Archie with me, my students had a hard time telling what I was. 🤣
I used a wire flower wreath as a base and attached it to the brim. This made it sturdy and gave it a bit more depth once I put it on my head.
I absolutely love it!

I crocheted a Santa hat to match my “ugly sweater” dachshund jumper! It turned out so cute!

I had a request from a friend at work—a kindergarten teacher. She wanted a skillet handle covers, but NOT looking like penises.
🤣🤣🤣
I tired my best.

I liked the look of these but beige was not the right color.

Of course Archie is a cow for Halloween. Lol!
This is just a preview of what’s to come. Tomorrow—Halloween day—you can see our finalized outfits. Can’t wait!
I used this pattern for a dog snood, then added the spots, ears, and horns. 😍

Almost done with this one!
I accidently made it too big, so I don’t know how to finish it. Should it be a JUMBO scarf? Some sort of wrap? A lap blanket?

I LOVE this yarn!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

This is Sweet Roll Fruits from Premier Yarn and it’s perfect. I love the choices in colorways; I love the softness; I love the weight. Whenever Premier has a lower or free shipping cost, I grab them fast!
I’m currently working on—surprise, surprise—bucket hats!

New project!
I love the idea of cardigans and I am always making them (but not quite finishing them). I found a pattern for a top down cardigan which has no sewing! Gonna give it a try!
youtube
I’m using Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo Speckle in the colorway Bubblegum Speckle. 😍 (5mm hook)

My spouse and I adopted a new puppy!

Our 13-year-old long haired dachshund, Friday, passed away in January. I swore I wouldn’t get another.
But, I saw our new fella on the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control website. I fell in love, went to see him, adopted him, and took him home the next day (after he was neutered).
He’s ten months old, and a wire hair dachshund mix—supposedly. Either way, he’s delightful! Sweet! Funny! Loving! He’s simply the best!
We named him Archibald—Archie for short.
The first thing I did was crochet him a duck hat. Sadly, I underestimated the size of his ears.

His harness was also too big for him, so I put a crocheted halter top on under it for extra bulk. 🤣

He loves my yarn and wants to eat it so he’ll have to be closely watched for a while.
I can’t wait to make him lots of crocheted wearables! 😍

I tried to make a puma hat. My school colors are teal and black and our mascot is a black puma. Tomorrow us out Back 2 School event and I want to wear something unique (so the parents know right away that I’m quirky).
I like the idea of this hat but I’m not sure the ears look cat-ish enough.
Also I timed myself to see how long it’d take.
