even MORE ez2on gaming to kick off the day!!! this time catching one of Okomecloud's streams and playing in the EZ2ON lobby there, very fun to goof off in both 8S and 6S modes (varies by song and difficulty spread) :]

looking back on it, the series of events today was wacky . i planned to head to campus late but not too late and ended up missing the earliest trains Twice, so i tragically missed any chance of attending the J-Music or FGC club sessions that day and was only able to make it out to an arcade in the end... but all that really mattered on the way there were the scores i got -- of which there's plenty to share!! wasn't really expecting any notable scores while i was at it, but it was truly notable scores galore!!! TEmPTaTiON [FTR-10+] 9900 -> 9960 (!!!), Divine Light of Myriad [FTR-10+] 9932 -> 9956, GLORY : ROAD [FTR-10] 9960 -> 9974, and MORNINGLOOM [ETR-9+] NEAR-PM!!!! just one miss away... tragic...

but now, for the big one!!! the arcade!!! had to eat first (which is where some of the scores take place) but was ready to Game as soon as i walked into the place, and i warmed up with a teensy bit of DDR EXTREME PRO, getting an FC on SYNCHRONIZED LOVE(Red Monster Hyper Mix) [Heavy 8] before playing some jubeat just to be sure that the food went down... and that's when i got hooked on securing the FC on one particular chart: Come to Life [ADV 8]... and after chokes galore, it happened!!! my first FC on an 8 in jubeat!!! on one of my favorite DDR songs ever!!! spent the rest of my credit just playing random whatever charts before moving onto the next game...

...ITG!!! prob should've mentioned that the arcade was slightly booming with peeps, and so i got to play with a fellow super cool local and set some awesome scores while i was at it!!! got a sweet 17e FEC on 8bit Princess [SH 8], plus several more miscellaneous scores on stuff like Just Accept [SX 11] and PUSH UR T3MPRR [SX 11], where i managed to pull out a star after a few tries!!!

then i moved onto another cab where i saw Extremely funny stamina charts of otherwise normal pop songs and almost managed to FEC one in particular!!! (that being Moves Like Jagger [SH11]) . i guess i also technically cleared the SX14 and then I Want It That Way [SH12] while i was at it...

unfortunately had to rush back home after all that gaming, but not before one last PIU set where i got a neat little sightread on Deca Dance S18 before getting a very nice AAA upscore on Blazing S20!!! prob could've done better if i'd spent my time earlier playing pump, but ah well! satisfying session, hopefully i can come back sometime stronger and with way better scores :]

a challenge day like any other, but a surprisingly good lineup of scores to boost this up from your average boring day??? such scores including Libertas [BYD-10] 9900 -> 9938, PRAGMATISM [FTR-10] 9963 -> 9984, and the coolest of all... qualia -idaesthesia- (BYD-9+, MAX-18) as BYD PM #17!!!!!!!!!!

played some casual EZ2ON after the test today (i think i did pretty well :]) until i was invited to play in a multi room by a good ez2on friend, where i proceeded to play the best mode in da game... 8K STANDARD!!!! yeup, the rest is just 8K scores galore LMFAO, learning how the mode works and having fun competing against this friend while i was at it w . the S+ on Repulse Stream [8S NM-11] is def the coolest score on here, but i cleared everything from 10s to my first few 15s in this multi room alone!!! very impressive for an 8K beginner!!! mayhaps more 8K in the near future to come...

tried my best to lock in on homework today, but family decided to have a house party and distracted me a ton from gaming... still got a teensy bit done, but not as much as i would've wanted . so since there wasn't any food at home, i went out and about around town and got some food while grinding arcaea challenges!!! not many notable upscores besides a 993 -> 996 on PRAGMATISM [FTR-10]...

but you wanna know where the real action of today lies?? in EZ2ON, of course!!! and with none other than the fellow rhythm gaming proto bestie, demicore!!! saw him hop on and wanted to play in a multi room, which led to some very silly battle matches across plenty of 4K charts... i managed to hold my own in some easier more acc-oriented charts (and even won by a very clutch 1 cool on picking [HD-15]!!), but he's still way stronger in the harder and more technical charts... as well as in 8K!!! that ATOPY play was a blowout LOL

waaaa went to a cat con today!!! it was so awesome so cool so fun!!!! many many cats and many many cat-related stuffs.... i even got to play Bubsy I (in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind) for the very first time!!! very weird game, i forget just how shitty SNES game design used to be... (but i got to stage 3 with no continues somehow :])

BUT ANYWAYS!!! i had to miss out on an open arcade day due to the cafe (since it's all the way out in Seattle), but i made it out in the last hour to play a tiny bit of rhythm gaming before it closed for the day . a simple messed-up game on Ghost Rule [MASTER 13] to start, but that was enough warmup to set perhaps my best score in maimai so far... a first try of the day, third try overall, FC on Takahase! Meijin Man [MASTER 13] as 13 FC #1!!!! not the best acc of course, but STILL!!! DUDE!!!!!!

ohyeah played a teensy bit of iidx while i was there and set some pretty funny scores :] arcade closed shortly after that, but hey! pretty satisfied with the few sets i played nonetheless!!! here's to hopefully a better session next time :3c

stuck on campus for a big ol while today as i'm attending fighting game and music club events and stuff!!! nothing too crazy from either of those aside from karaoke, but grinded out a bit of world mode on the way back home and got my sickest, most out-of-nowhere score i've ever gotten on a bus... Singularity (FTR-10, MAX-43) PM as FTR PM #256 and would-be 10+ PM #2!!!!!!

later i was invited to hop into a little EZ2ON multi lobby w/ jazy and friends, where i then proceeded to play 6K charts pretty much the whole time!!! twas super fun, even if i was rather late to the party and missed playing with some other cool mutuals... (scores may be hard to see as i almost never zoomed into the personal results screen, sorry!

did you notice the poor score on Lightning Screw [FTR-10] last post? pretty bad, huh? don't really have an excuse for it other than playing poorly in general and getting my ass kicked by the sped-up floor hold section, but what if i told you it (alongside a banger upscore on Sheriruth [FTR-10]) was just preparation for tackling the real deal today?

yesyes... after trying out the hikaritsu reunion strat and figuring out an early-hitting strat for those holds, it clicked into place just when i needed it, and i finally secured Lightning Screw (FTR-10, MAX-27) as FTR PM #255!!!! finally closing out the last of my ideas for first 10 PM this late, though i guess this was the trickiest of them after all...

oh also finally unlocked Shirabe!!!! oh my goodness she's so beautiful i love her hair

had a real bad day yesterday as i finally got back the first test of my calc 3 midterm only for it to be an absolutely Abysmal grade relative to my past performance and everything else in the class... all you'll see in this post is misc arcaea challenge scores, but i did try to take my mind off the grade by going around and about clubs and my friend's dorm on campus, where we played SSBU and had a ton of fun with custom stages + a sick clip at the end to finish it off!!!

later went to my school's FGC club and played in the Hokuto no Ken bracket, where i won my first and only round before having to head out to the next primary rhythm gaming destination... The Nest!!! and Iris was there too!!!! waaaaaaa!!!!! the perfect stress reliever to recover from such a conflicting day...

but make no mistake in my unrelated ventures!!! i was still here for rhythm gaming, and i'll prove it with these cool new ITG scores i grinded out a bit: notably, my first doubles clear in ITL 2025 (Datamania [DM7]), a sick 10e FEC on CyberConnect [SH8], and then an even sicker sightread 8e FEC on Worn Out Tapes [SH9]!!!! (ohyeah and i also got my s-rank status back on TGM3 Master rule :3c)

BONUS: as promised, this was the insane Evenly Matched clip with my good buddy ol pal at the end of our dorm meetup (i'm da kirbster)

bunch of misc attempts on Chou Saishuu Kichiku Imouto Flandre S [MASTER 32] where i was consistently FC'ing, but not only that... i was getting really damn good accuracy while i was at it!!! first a 5g FC, then a 4g FC, asfjdsljsk could this possibly become my first 32 AP? we'll just have to grind and see...

(real quick edit as i forgot to add this score to the post: first custom proseka chart play in a while!!! old proseka friend's 100th chart ever released, so i just had to play it www // now back to the post!!!)

haven't had an arcade sesh like this in a while, eh? welll, this one's more of a special exception than a return to rhythm gaming form, as i was only able to do this since i was temporarily done with finals and had to get back to 'em after this... the "special exception" part being emphasized more by me going almost exclusively to play the new Porter Robinson SMILE! :D songs added to DDR WORLD!!!! YEAHHHHHHH (tho i didn't take any photos of the songs, there's a few other neat scores here like Remember Remember (ESP-11, 19p) PFC, Night of Knights (ESP-15, 30p) as 15 PFC #29, and a sightread near-PFC on Chocolate Planet [ESP-16]!!!)

oh right, and a bit of drummania too :] banger upscores and new clears...

midterm day... very ill prepared for it, but i didn't play any games yesterday in case that counts for something? nah, it really didn't,,, did terrible on this exam and no amount of delusion will convince me otherwise. but hey! it's just the first of two midterms, so we'll give it a better shot next time . now that i was free from """test prep""" i had to catch up on my arcaea gaming!!!

but wait, what's this...? this doesn't... hmmm... this doesn't really Look like arcaea, but it plays exactly like it... yeahhh so for another one of the server's challenges, i had to install and set up this new app with its own songs and charts... ArcCreate!!! specifically, the FOF III pack with original songs, jackets, and charts created by arcaea fans!!! very good and soulful stuff here, def recommend trying it if y'all want (though certain charts are indeed very janky and sometimes poorly rated, buuuut it's all in good fun anyways)
