#socialmediachallenge #mbmmelite @madebymaniandmal #shareyourbusinessstory 2020 started off like any other year. I had plans to do the same things I have always done. Invitations to my son’s third birthday party were just sent out, and my mother was celebrating her 63rd birthday when the country shut down! Like everyone else, I was devastated that our lives just stopped. What was I going to do with my time?? Well, at this point, I had watched hundreds of hours of tumbler tutorial videos and dreamed of making them myself one day. Once I was stuck at home for hours with nothing to do, I decided now was the time to do what I had always wanted to do! So, I dove in headfirst and bought all the “stuff” to make cups, and believe me, there is a lot of stuff! It seems that watching those videos prepared me because I jumped in and never missed a beat. I LOVE making these cups, and I LOVE designing a cup for someone! I still have some of my first failed cups as a reminder that I have come a long way, and there is nowhere but UP from here. I have suffered from anxiety, depression, and alcoholism in my life, so being creative leaves my mind little else to wonder. I need to be creative to keep myself sane. So, you are really doing me a favor by allowing me to make a cup for you! HA! I tell you this, so you know there is a real human making these cups a real person that puts blood, sweat, and sometimes tears into these tumblers. Each and every cup is a personal triumph, and I am honored to send it to you and always have a hard time letting them go. Let me design a cup for you; it would make me so happy!
