Something that has occurred to me recently while rewatching SAH.
So, episode seven. Geumsaegi discovers that a rebel group exists. And it is quite large. And they know he’s connected to Flower Hill. And what does he do with this information? Tries to thwart them so he can remain in Jogjebi’s good graces.
I actually don’t think that was the best move.
From a logical standpoint, if you are trying to win a war, you likely benefit if the enemy leader loses power. And if you find out there is a group on the inside of your enemy nation that also doesn’t want the current leaders to be in power, it makes sense to work with them. Especially since some of the rebels are high ranking members of the enemy military. They’re already on the inside, likely have access to more information than you, and if you put one of them in power, then they owe you a debt. Like, say, a peace treaty with very favorable terms on your nation’s end.
So why doesn’t this occur to Geumsaegi? Sure, he just found out that these people knew his secret, and I will grant they also made a request that put him in a compromising position. Stress may have been a factor. But this literally. Keeps. Happening to him, and he never thinks to at least attempt to work with the rebels. So why is that?
Here are my current theories…
Geumsaegi would have been happy to facilitate an alliance but may have wanted the other side to bring it up first as a show of good faith.
Flower Hill has worked with rebels before, once. And it somehow ended up going so terribly wrong that a blanket “Never Again” is all that’s said of the incident.
Geumsaegi simply does not have the authority to make such an arrangement.
Flower Hill is so distrustful of their enemies that even the rebels are considered dangerous.
Flower Hill is built off of the idea of loyalty. To that end they are so disgusted by the sheer thought of betraying one’s nation, or whoever is in charge of it, that they refuse to work with anyone they consider a traitor. Even if they are a traitor for the enemy side.
Which one do you think is most likely?

Things my friend, who's never watched Squirrel and Hegehog and isn't interested in it, said while I was showing him my sketches:
That's... the most random thing you've shown to me.
Getting closer to sell furry art.
Great, you like the crazy one.
I know what you're capable of and I think this show is giving you ideas.
Isn't that your favorite character? I don't want to know what you do to your least favorite character.
You haven't left cannibalism?
So talented and you don't draw porn.
I need to know what's your definition of ''funny''
He has the same ugy ass face as you.
And the fanfic?
I prefer your style. I'd watch it if those were their canon desings.

Seeing tumblr users talk about how small Ratigan is compared to the other disney villains and just imagining an obsessive victorian lady keeping him as her pet.

Squirrel and Hedgehog art challenge if you’re up for it (if not delete this ask) but what about a role swap? Like put Geumsaegi in Mulmangcho’s shoes or vice-versa.
Actually, I had this in my mind for almost 2 years but never did it because I'm a procrastinator.

Vixen: Mulmangcho has a very strange patchwork of knowledge. It’s anybody’s guess as to what he knows about any given topic. Watch.
Vixen: Hey, Mulmangcho. Who carved Mt. Wolfsmore?
Mulmangcho: Gutzon Borglum. Then his son finished it.
Vixen: And what state is it in?
Mulmangcho: I DON’T KNOW! Ottersland or something?!

Everyone on this site thinks Dib would believe in the flat earth theory and while he does give off VERY strong flat-earther vibes, there’s also that one opening to an episode where he’s just angrily screaming about how Galileo was thrown in jail and how the people who said he was wrong would “be sorry” if they lived today or something like that
He isn’t the flat earther, he’s the one that gets irrationally ANGERY at flat earthers
