Katsuki was raised on the belief that one has to be the strongest to make it in this world. Other people are a waste of time, minor distractions, focus should be left to being the best at whatever he does. The violence at home shaped him into more than a beast than a person, relying on his instincts and others' fear to make it by. Weakness was to be eliminated by all means necessary.

He makes his way through life like a meteor, burning through obstacles and landing himself a place at an esteemed Police Academy. He only realizes the consequences of living the way he has when an incident leaves him powerless, something he hadn't thought possible, and begins the painful journey towards recovery.

Izuku was raised on the belief that no matter what he did, it would never amount to anything. His mother never believed in him, his father out of the picture, the only person who believed in him was himself.

A victim of bullying, life took its time tearing apart his dreams, his hope, until he was left with nothing. He hides away at home, taking better care of his potted plants than himself. After an incident he begins seeing a therapist, and bumps into a childhood friend he thought he'd never see again.

omega izuku and alpha katsuki Tarragon Mountain held a reputation, one it outwardly embraced with ominous towering black slopes and a jagged summit. All season a brutal blizzard accumulates before the annual winter day when the storm descends the slopes and holes up the village for months on end in a winter wonderland. Some rumors attributed the storm to a simple hiccup in nature, others claimed the mountain held the pathway to hell where creatures of dark magic frolicked and lured the unsuspecting. Izuku was much fonder of the fairy-tale Inko would tell him as they huddled together through the cold winter nights. She told him of a fair and noble dragon-blood king caught in a war between good and evil. She told him of another king, jaded and evil who sought to control power through abhorrent means. Included in the fable were a prophecy, an unfinished war, and an incomplete conclusion. The good king lay to this day within the confines of Tarragon Mountain, cursed to forever slumber until a powerful omega, just as strong and intelligent as the king himself, would release the king from his slumber, free their people, and bring everlasting peace. It was a nice fairy-tail, but Izuku had much more to worry about than a story... right?

After having his dreams of becoming a hero crushed, Izuku was exposed to the harsh reality that most heroes were just public personas set up by the Commission to maintain public order. He could live his life dissecting heroes from a safe distance as the popular writer Ze and still spend his nights as a moderately legal vigilante without any complications. Izuku thought he'd left Kaachan behind after moving during the last year of middle school. That was until his latest hero profile subject, Red Riot, asked him to consider interviewing Ground Zero. Seven year later, he still apparently couldn’t say no to Kaachan."
