René-Antoine Houasse was a decorative French painter recognized for his q and his work decorating the Château de Versailles. Houasse was the director of the French Academy in Rome from 1699 to 1704 and is also known for creating an entire series of paintings depicting various myths involving Graeco-Roman mythology figures.

once upon a time ↳ pan

Pan frowned watching as the rest of the lost boys gathered around the new prisoners, Slightly boasting about how he stole them right under Hook’s nose.  “Attacking like its hard to beat Hook,” Pan muttered to Tinkerbell whose alarmed chirps grew louder with each flutter of her wings. Pan shook his head, “We are going to let them go, “ he said with a roll of his eyes. “Lets go check them out,” he said before flying down, gesturing for Tinkerbell to follow. 

Usually when Pan graced his lost boys with his presences they all stopped what they were doing, shut up and starred at him with the awe he so rightly deserved but today the whispers continued. Not even whispers if he were been honest, they chatted loudly with no shame. 

“Shut up,” He yelled out, smirking as the chattering died down. Slightly let out a huff, an unimpressed look on his face. He could be unimpressed, Pan didn’t care, he never liked Slightly anyway. Always talking about what the real world was like, telling Pan that Pan wasn’t his name. Ofcourse it was. Who would ever want to be called Daniel? That was a stupid name. 

“What do we have here?” Pan said eyes jumping from prisoner to prisoner. What a strange bunch, no wonder Slightly managed to steal them from Hook. Hook probably didn’t want them anyway, stupid Slightly. 3 boys, one of them wearing a strange hat that Pan wanted to rip off his stupid head, a pretty boy lying completely still - dead? Already? What a waste. Another boy sat on the ground grabbing at his head muttering about how much it hurt? Thinking? Pan supposed it did hurt to think, he always hated to think about the past but this was pathetic. And lastly a girl, ofcourse Slightly would bring a girl back - no a mermaid, Pan’s eyes widened as a grin broke out onto his face. Mermaid were rare in these parts and he caught one. 

He was about to boast when Tinkerbell fluttered past checking on the boy who was hurting. “Tink, i already told you -”

“Cel-” the boy said causing Pan turn and look at him. Tinkerbell chirped happily, darting around the boy talking as if they were old friends. They couldn’t be, Tinkerbell was his fairy, she only existed because he exists. Hell Neverland only exists because of him.

“Tinkerbell, get away from them,” Pan growled stomping over as the pair ignored him. Ignoring him infront of his followers. He was the leader, how dare they?/

“Do I know you?” The guy asked. 

“Didn’t you say you were from the real world?” the man with the ugly hate said. The real world, Pan hated hearing about the real world. Bad things happened in the real world. 

“How old are you?’ Pan asked moving where Tinkerbell and other prisoner were. “All of you - expect for the dead one, how old are you?” he asked. They could be adults - disgusting.

“Don’t know time is different in Wonderland,” The hat boy shrugged. Wonderland? He has never heard of Wonderland.

“Twenty,” the other boy said as Pan’s eyes widened. An adult. 

“Kill him,” Pan said without a moment's hesitation. “Best if we kill them both, that way they can join their friend,” he added, nudging towards the pretty one. None of the lost boys moved causing Pan to growl, why weren’t they listening to him.  Even Tinkerbell was hovering protectively near the old one. Even the mermaid was trying to get out her pond, spouting whatever gibberish mermaids talked.

“He isn’t dead, “ the hat one said. 

“He isn’t breathing though,”  Tootles points out. “Pretty sure that means he is dead.” he continued.  Pan nodded in agreement, he seen plenty of dead bodies and none of them were breathing.

“Wonderland magic, The queen of hearts stole his heart,” Hat continued.  Pan raised an eyebrow, so he is very much dead and again with this Wonderland nonsense, there was Neverland and Hook’s ocean nothing else. If Pan didn’t know about it then no one does.  “And why is that one,” Hat boy nudged to Pan, “calling for our deaths?”

“Your adults, “ One of the twins called out. “Anyone over 18 is an adult “ the other added. 

“He looks older than me,” Hat boy called out. Pan huffed - idiot. Older than him, ha!

“No one is murdering anyone,” the other boy who was still very much alive for some reason called out. “Look i think there has been a misunderstanding,” he said.

“I don’t misunderstand anything, I am Pan, and i know everything” he said matter o’factly because that is the truth of the world. Neverland told him so. There was Pan and Neverland nothing else.

“You can’t keep picking up strays Sungjae,” M sat up , groggily taking in his surroundings as the memories of what had happened came rushing to the front of his mind. Barely escaping the hag that had wanted to take Jane back to her prison, the tower. Getting to the shores of Aruna, injured with a barely conscious Jane in his arms. 

“I didn’t pick them up,” Someone said snapping M out of his thoughts, he shakily got to his legs trying to find out who was talking and where they were. 

“Oh of course you didn’t,” the voice from before said. “The mute stray did who got found by the weird strays, at the point they are multiplying we are going to need another ship.” M’s nose wrinkled whoever was talking sounded like a complete bastard. Talking about people like they were hindrances - disgusting but he was thankful now he knew he was on a ship. Not ideal considering last time he was on a ferry he was seasick but that was in the real in this place who knew. 

“Parker don’t - they needed our help and they are all doing their part as members of the crew,” The other voice, Sungjae,maybe,  said. 

 M moved trying to move down on the aisle but the boat rocked leading him to crash into a wall with a loud thud during attention to himself. He didn’t get a chance to try and run (run where he did not know he was stuck on this damn boat) but a small girl raced over to him. 

“Are you okay?” she asked him, steadying up so he could stand still.. “You were pretty banged up when we found you and your friend ,” she said. 

“Jane!” he exclaimed. How could he forget her? Was she alive? Was she safe? Where was she?

“The blonde girl?” The short dark haired girl questioned. “Quiet a reaction,” she said looking at him slyly, “Maybe i should have said lover?” she teased as M flushed, shaking his head. It wasn’t like that, she was his friend, not that he wouldn’t mind it being something more.

“Is she okay?”  He asked. 

“She will be, Minah is looking after her,”  The girl said. Right Minah, ofcourse. “Don’t worry, Minah is oddly protective over Jane , she can’t talk but she will definitely let you know how she feels,” she said doing a fully body shiver.  “I’ll take you to see her,” the girl said.

“Where are we? I mean - i know we are on a ship but like where are going?” he asked.

“Neverland,” The girl answered with a frown. M winced his knees buckling as head ached so painfully that he thought his head would explode. He didn’t get to hear the rest of what was being said because the world started to go black.

Jane groaned wiping at the sweat on her brow, she eyed the back of the mysterious savior, his very broad back not that she was paying attention. “How much longer?” she asked with a huff, they had been walking for hours and there was no sign of life, just dense forest. She couldn’t even see her tower anymore. Not that she missed it, this is what she wanted to be free. She just always thought freedom would look a little different, more celebration and less trees.

“Not much longer,” The man said, turning to look at her. “We can take a break if you want.”

“No it’s fine,” Jane said, “Though so far every time I have asked how much longer you’ve answered, not much longer.” she pointed. “Are you sure you know where we are going?” she asked her eyes narrowing at him. 

“Kinda,” he answered. Jane blinked at him as her rage simmered to the surface.

“Kinda?” She exclaimed. “Are you kidding?,” she said, coming to a complete stop and glaring at the man. “We are lost aren’t we?” 

“No,” The man said. “I can’t explain but I know we are going in the right direction,” he said. “I’ve been here, I think, but i can't remember when -” he said at the point looking extremely lost. 

Jane sighed, sympathy tugging at her heart. “I see,” she supposed she would have been lost regardless and if she was going to be lost at the very least she had someone with her.

JULIEN CHRISTOPHE TOUBEAU ELLWOOD

Any siblings/Only child? An older sister called Malene. She’s basically the reliable and cool big sister everybody wants and the one who encouraged Julien and company to actually take part in the band competition that made them famous. Malène is an art journalist and lives in Cannes.


What languages do they speak? French for obvious reasons. English partly because of the British heritage of his maternal family and partly because of his British stepfather Joshua Evans with whom he used to travel back and forth between Cannes and London when he was a young boy. A very bad conversational Spanish Malène makes fun of, but that he learned from one of her boyfriends.



How big is their family? 
Relatively small. Other than his mother, his stepfather and his sister Malene, there’s his father, Jacques (who is currently married to a young socialite the whole family despises) and his grandparents. Both of his parents are the only child of their respective families so Julien doesn’t have any uncle/aunt or cousins.

Are they close to anyone specific in the family? Julien has a very close relationship with his stepfather, producer and probably Nº1 fan, Joshua Evans. Joshua is more than just his stepfather, he’s a friend, a confidant and a loyal supporter of his career, someone Julien trusts 100% and looks up to.  Other than that, Julien is also very close to his sister and paternal grandfather, he admires their intelligence, success and the genuine kindness that definitely contrast with his father’s cold personality.

Do they get angry/lose their temper quickly?
Not at all. Julien is actually way too collected and detached to take things way too personally or get angry easily. It’d take a lot to get him mad at someone although his father using his image for publicity is one of his triggers.  


Do they have pets? Do they want pets? He has a yellow cat called Manon. He likes to take her while he is on tour, although she has proven to dislike his band’s music in more than one occasion. 


What are they like when they’re drunk/what kind of drunk are they? Since Julien is pretty much a collected and seemingly unemotional person most of the time, he tends to become rather emotional when he’s drunk. Although he doesn’t easily let alcohol get to his head, he loses his decision-making abilities once he’s drunk. He’s the “please don’t let me call my ex tonight" and over-sharer type of drunk. Also, he definitely gets “poetic”.


Have they ever drunk underage? More than he would like to admit, tbh. 
 Do they consider themselves popular? At the beginning of his career. He totally underestimated his popularity, but he’s gotten a lot more confident over the past years (particularly after letting go of his crush on Minah Delacroix) and he is willing to openly accept he and his band are rather popular.

What is their dream vacation? Julien adores his hometown, so no matter where he might be, the best getaway location for him is Cannes or Monaco.

Have they ever cheated on anyone before? Never.

Have they ever been cheated on? Not really, although his bandmates often joke about Minah “emotionally cheating” on him throughout their short-lived romance.

Are they a liar? Are they good at lying? Definitely not a consummate liar, but he’s a decent liar when he wants to. The only people he can’t lie to are Malene and his closest group of friends (Antoine, Johannes and Jane)

Do they like hot or cold temperatures better? Definitely hot because he grew up in the French Riviera.

Do they prefer swimming in saltwater or freshwater? Julien loves swimming, just in general, but he might be a little more used to swim in the sea, so saltwater.

How would your OC describe their best friend using three words to a stranger? Julien describing his French squad would probably go like “ils sont dingues” (which is the perfect description because “dingoes” can mean either crazy, amazing, insane or absurd depending on the context).

Do they have any overused catchphrases? + “Yes, I’m that guy from that band” + “I’ll write a song about that”

Have they ever lost anyone close to them? How did it affect them? Julien considers his parents’ divorce a traumatic event in his life because although he didn’t literally lose his father, he feels as though that destroyed their relationship and the reason why they have basically become strangers by now.

Tons of dresses with delicate and feminine cuts, crêpe and chiffon skirts and blouses, cashmere sweaters, lacy underwear. In general light-colored pieces with transparencies, lacy details, bows and flowery details.  For important occasions, she’d wear elaborated gowns with tons of embroideries and precious jewels as embellishments. When trying to keep a low profile Minah would definitely wear black leather jackets, berets and very clean cuts with minimal details.

Sublime et silence - Julien Doré

It is basically a song that brings up a slight and delicate melancholy that I feel Minah always hides and is barely noticeable for most people around her. The melody is also very relaxing and rather sophisticated, there’s a lot of symbolic references in the lyrics and mentions of Paris. Honestly, any song from Julien Doré resonates well with Minah’s hidden emotional side because his voice is just so powerful yet soft. 

penthouse: what would you consider your dream home? describe it.

Minah’s ideal place is a fancy and big apartment in Paris, let’s say around Ópera, île Saint Louis or Trocadèro (better said, around Dior’s Passy home), with a high ceiling, walls painted in white and exquisitely decorated with modern-looking pieces in dark colors. There’d be tons of art pieces and a huge balcony with a view of the Seine.  Of course, there would be flowers everywhere.

Spring, not only Minah would be able to wear her favorite type of clothing (dresses, skirts, light jackets, trench coats at night in light, flowy fabrics, etc) but she’d also enjoy the flower blossoms, the fragrance of flowers as she walks down the streets and the warm, fresh weather.

wine: what kind of drunk are you (happy/affectionate, angry, sad, fun/wild)? if you don’t drink, what kind do you think you would be?

First of anything Minah rarely gets drunk. For one thing, she has an amazing alcohol tolerance, for the other, she would only allow herself to get drunk when she’s feeling extremely stressed/ sad/ hopeless. Being said so it is highly likely she will either be the affectionate type of drunk that wants to hug everybody and feel loved or she’ll be the type of wild drunk who becomes the light of the party and does things she would never do otherwise like flirting with random guys and acting slightly sluty. Either way it’d be rather embarrassing, to be true.

Temperance is depicted as a winged angel pouring liquid from one receptacle into another, symbolic of the flow and alchemy of life. The angel balances between one foot in water, to represent the subconscious, while the other foot is on dry land, a representation of the material world. In the background, there's a winding road leading to a mountain range, symbolizing the journey through life. Above the mountains hovers a golden crown encased in a glowing light, a symbol of taking the Higher path and staying true to one’s life purpose and meaning.
