galatea, the beloved (asteroid 74)

Once upon a time, Polyphemus, the Cyclops from the journey of Odysseus, fell in love. Galatea was a lovely Nereid who was in love with Acis (whose story I previously told). Polyphemus learned of this when he saw the two together thusly crushed Acis with a boulder and breaking the heart of Galatea. IN MY OPINION, with this version in mind, Galatea could represent a) the types of lovers you attract, b) how those that love you tend to become jealous, and/or c) the terrible things that happen to those you love.

In another version, a sculptor named Pygmalion makes an ivory statue showcasing what he believes to be the ideal of womanhood and names it Galatea. He becomes so enamored by Galatea that he falls in love with her. Venus was enchanted by this and brought the statue of Galatea to life in answer to Pygmalion's prayers. The two then had a child named Paphos together. IN MY OPINION, with this version in mind, Galatea could represent a) beauty/attractiveness, b) what makes you someone's ideal, c) who you can enchant with you looks, d) where your love story attracts a lot of attention, and/or e) where people tend to be extremely hopeful of having you in their lives.

Hello, could you tell me what the asteroid Aphrodite in the 1st house in conjunction with Venus means?

aphrodite (asteroid 1388), what’s her sign/degree, where she sits in a chart, and her aspects

all of this is in my opinion. some of it you may be like how tf did she come up with this. my answer: intuition and experience with other people’s charts that i have available to me. i have been laying all this out for four weeks now - sorry for the wait, dddssd. warning i can be harsh: please don’t take everything i say as predestined, astrology is possible outcomes not guaranteed ones. plus let’s not forget orbs matter, dominance matters, etc. it’s never just aphrodite. this is just a starting place for when examining a single asteroid in an entire galaxy. take what resonates and leave what doesn’t!

*all of these observations are based on a natal chart - solar return and persona charts will change all these observations because the context is different*

4h: your whole family is pretty - like what is that (the genetics are just that good)? or my favorite the "are you sure that’s your family" moment - because you are just so pretty compared to others in your family (think about aphrodite walking into olympus and basically everyone adopting her in and wanting her because she’s the prettiest). that being said you could have been adopted by another family member (zeus would have been aphrodite's nephew lmao) or it could be a serious case of “your the fairness of them all” syndrome in your family. you may also have a very aesthetically pleasing home - it’s probably very light, bright, and glamorous (your dream home may be on a beachfront)! you could be an incredible salesperson as well -you have that friendly, pretty face that could sell a poor man a diamond and a billionaire a box of girl scout cookies (despicable me reference). it could indicate a female dominant family as well. these are the people who contributed to your self-care, nurturing tendencies, and sense of security in your self-esteem. home may be the first place you disappear to when drama seems to consume you and you may find yourself venting to your family! you may be the only aphrodite placement i wouldn’t be surprised to see hide in the wildness when the world seems rough. you may also be the placement to dance in the rain - who cares about your hair, right?

5h: like aphrodite herself you too are prone to romantic flings like give you every possible lover because you are lovin’ it (baduh dup pubah (lol yes that's supposed to be mcdonald's)). you may be the type to love being in love - you may not be the safest when entering these relations (you don’t care about your heart or theirs) - it’s always raw and unguarded (lmfao like the sex - but no seriously you likely aren’t concerned about a possible kid or anything like that you just want to feel free and wild). you may just lowkey adore babies but when they are kids you’re like :/ see me again when you are older, you know when we can have fun gossiping. but no seriously i get that you want to feel free and wild but if you do not want a kid USE PROTECTION - y’all are super fertile. many people likely find you dramatic and a bit childish when it’s important you not be. you likely agree that you are dramatic or sassy but at the same time won’t admit it because it’s part of the fun.

6h: you and your 2h aphrodite friend should go into business together, like a day spa and gym. i’m not kidding - it would be iconic call it the spring of aphrodite or some shit and send me opening day pics! but in all seriousness you like 2h aphrodites have quite a bit in common you love a good gym routine - your health is everything to you. you feel the most confident and goddess-like when you are eating right and getting exercise in. and like a 2h aphrodite you may be a bit particular but this isn't product-based, it’s more so due to your analytic nature. your brows need to look just right, your hair has to be perfect, your jeans need to be pressed, etc. it needs to look as though you’ve been doing something to yourself - you may be afraid of the phrase “you’ve let yourself go” (a big fuck you to anyone who has actually told that to someone from your worst nightmare a.d.). but let’s face it you don’t ever let yourself go in fact i ask that you take more time to rest! i feel like you may not do that enough - it’s very go-go-go, work-work-work vibes. i’ll tell you what: you can still girlboss the shit out of life after giving yourself the weekend off, wonder woman. please tear up your to-do list and take a few deep breaths. i feel like every 6h aphrodite i know has a familiar as well (my best friend has a cat named smokey lmfao).

7h: we know that you are the spicy goddess of beauty placement that is terminally single until suddenly you aren’t. it’s like the moment aphrodite is suddenly married to hephaestus: like how’d we get here, bruv? but have no fear as long as your aphrodite isn’t aspecting zeus or hephaestus (see below), you are more than likely safe from being unwillingly married or immediately unsatisfied in marriage. chances are that you have more long-term relationships than aphrodite who tends to prefer flings. your relationships may be extremely well balanced too - it’s like it’s meant to be. though pre-warning your relationships may be a bit rocky (maybe even divorce worthy) - there is such a thing as too much alike. you may naturally have a concern for others with this placement as well. this aphrodite placement has a lot of enemies though - it’s like everywhere you go, people are trying to start something from nothing.

9h: please let me be you. you are the aphrodite who is just walking through the world adored and you barely realize it because you are so busy taking in the world and the culture around you. absolute sins for what i'm about to ask but have you read heroes of olympus by rick riordan? i think that's the part of the series where aphrodite dresses like a southern belle? but honestly yes that's your vibe or like emily in paris - you love to dress to match your atmosphere! whatever makes you feel like someone enjoying a different atmosphere from what you already know. you may be incredibly wise from your time devouring culture and experiencing the world - many people come to you for advice. you likely speak a “love language” or possibly multiple - it always sounds so exotic and beautiful when you speak as well. there is a chance like, emily in paris, you have a travel blog or some sort of social media presence that showcases where you are and where you have been.

12h: oof i fear this placement steps into a highly jealous territory that makes me slightly on edge. kind of like how aphrodite wanted eos and psyche GONE - no questions asked type of gone. it may go very far in the sense you create fake accounts to catch partners who potentially, and are likely not, cheating on you. you may be very envious of others when you have no cause to be - maybe if you just told others how you feel then the problems wouldn't be as big as you imagine them being. like if you think someone is flirting with your partner just say that they're with you and to get lost - you give off enough of a vibe that send those ones away (make sure that they are honestly flirting though - please don't be the type that dms each new follower being like "who are you? what do you want? how do they know you?" saturn: i feel like this aspect in a person is often seen as "mature" or "womanly" or what have you from a very young age (this love goddess was born from the sea and rose from the water as an adult woman - she was never a child). you may have been treated as a mini adult from a young age and may have learned more about romance and sex than you should at that age. your parents may have told you you weren't allowed to date until you were a certain age. or you may have not had much interest in dating and thus delayed it. you may have some fears about sex - contraceptives, not being in control, possible STDs/STIs, etc. or you may have a routine post-sex - pee, shower, change the sheets, and something warm (idk why a am receiving that part as part of your routine but i am lol). you may even receive postcoital dysphoria - post-sex blues. i feel like this aspect likes pain or being tied up though they are afraid of not being in control, it's like you enjoy testing your limits (i feel like you may enjoy the book normal people by sally rooney).

uranus: you love open relationships - you may be reading my aphrodite post like "why tf was ares pissed about poseidon, it's not like they were exclusive" lol. and i have to agree lmao - because he low-key was pissed when they were doing the same thing to hephaestus (lmfao every time i write that name it autocorrects to hepatitis <3 we love that) but the story is you found that act of rebellion fun as well (like zeus just forced them to marry "where was aphrodite's consent to this?"). you may be prone to changing your relationship status quite often as well. but really it's because you strongly dislike co-dependence in a relationship and definitely dislike it when they tell you what to do - this could indicate divorce if you ever get into a marriage like that. you may also be prone to sexual exploration - this could surprise your partner as well because you may tell them you would like to try a threesome, sex club, or something they may find unconventional to a relationship.

neptune: please don't think you aren't pretty enough. i feel like this placement constantly doesn't believe in their beauty and thus they are prone to mental health issues like EDs and dysphoria. i will sit with you all day and tell you, "you are pretty" because you truly are - there is something so surreal about you. you are so enchanting in presence and personality. you may also be hypnotic in the way you walk or have a very relaxing way of speaking - there is something peaceful about you. i feel like this aspect likes to dress up or wear wigs? you may be a dress-up queen :p.

pluto: you likely had a big glow-up at random moments in your life. you may be prone to changing your look up pretty often. people with this aspect likely have a darker aesthetic to them (dark clothes, dark hair, etc.). you likely have a high sex drive that has zero end to it (you are always hungry for more). and your partners are likely obsessed with that and may touch you very often just so others in public know that you are taken because you do have an alluring yet intimidating presence that sparks quite a bit of interest in those around you. you may have the power to manipulate those around you (like aphrodite did psyche). you may struggle with your confidence every once in a while but trust me when i say you have the power to ignite the infatuation of others and destroy them at any moment.

asc: positive aspects: super gorgeous, you are probably in the spotlight in the best way possible. you catch a ton of attention for your looks - you look dignified, important, and may be seen as a charming person by others. negative aspects: you could be in the spotlight in a negative way like this love goddess and ares trapped in the net in bed together. everyone tends to look at you with judgment for your actions and it sucks so try your best to not let your ego get the better of you and do what you can to avoid drama and gossip because others are likely already spreading something about you.

mc: positive aspects: everyone knows you in the best way possible. you likely have a great public image that has a positive mission associated with it. negative aspects: people may not know you by reputation which could be better than people that have a negative association with you based on a negative public opinion. it could also indicate a negative relationship with masculine energies in your life.

zeus (5731): positive aspects: viewed by the men around as someone to be respected and protected from other men. negative aspects: could be seen by the men in your family as another woman to marry off as soon as possible to avoid the burden of keeping you single and independent (it's like the 1800s all over again).

could you make a post about Proserpina(26), and it’s effect through the signs/houses?

proserpina, queen of spring and the underworld (asteroid 26)

i have not made a post about proserpina, so i won't complete a request like this without having talked about the asteroid first. proserpina and persephone are only mildly different. the likeness ends at the abduction and her mother searching for her.

trigger warning: rape

Proserpina's abduction was more turbulent than Persephone's and is seen in many pieces of media: art, sculptures, Metamorphoses, etc. Proserpina was an innocent girl picking flowers and playing in the glade with Cyane in the pool of water next to her - this was normal for the girls. On a whim one day, Pluto grabbed her and carried her away. Crying and terrified Proserpina calling for her mother - her dress tore, "her flowers fell" (which might be Ovid's metaphor for her loss of innocence/virginity). She screamed for her friends and no one came. Pluto urged each of the horses pulling his chariot by name to take them away to the Underworld. Cyane spoke up when she saw this, saying that taking Proserpina would be against the will of Ceres and that he had done this all wrong - a girl was meant to be wooed and Proserpina was in tears and terrified. She could do nothing to stop him for she was stuck in her pool of water - she was forced to watch him take Proserpina. IN MY OPINION Proserpina in your chart can represent a) ruined innocent, b) rape, c) abductions, d) innocence, and/or e) feeling trapped and helpless in a situation.

i encourage you to look into the aspects of proserpina along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of proserpina AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede proserpina!

Hi. How are you? Is quincunx( and/or inconjunct) considered a minor aspect? Because I have read that some ppl think it should be considered as major aspect. Does it have worse effect than a square?

personally, i feel all aspects are significant in some fashion. the quincunx is a "negative" aspect like a square or opposition. of course, i would suggest that the squares and oppositions in your chart take priority over the quincunx. the only reason i say that is because quincunx aspects are rather unpredictable and are often overinterpreted (they are stressful and tense in a chart, but they aren't meant to be the "ruin of a person" or whatever over extrapolation i have also heard). quincunx aspects are more impactful when they are between personal planets.

the root chakra and whether i believe you could survive an apocalypse

the root chakra is telling of our survival instincts and what we need to survive.

1 (the magician): absolutely these people are super resourceful and can definitely figure out how to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.

2 (the high priestess): you saw the end coming but likely want nothing to do with long term living in a world without life and only death. you probably are a prepper though.

3 (the empress): it's pretty unlikely you will live - you are too reliant on others providing for you and likely would miss the convince of the modern world.

4 (the emperor): 100% is going to live - this person saw it coming and was preparing for a long time (mentally, physically, etc). they don't have interest in a commune either or rather they would never be dependent on others to survive - they would probably become a leader in an apocalypse.

5 (the hierophant): dooms-dayer - 100% percent would pray on those who are scared and convince them that you have minimal ways to survive most of which will involve aiding them. they are the type to dictate to others what they need to be done but won't get their own hands dirty. they have zero issues turning religion into a way of life and claiming that current passages were warning them all along - they definitely would result to implementing scare tactics.

6 (the lovers): reliant on others for survival. they aren't likely to last long in that regard but also they are likely prone to depression and would become existentialistic.

7 (the charioteer): their survival depends on whether or not they have survival gear - if they don't have a good baseline, they are likely going to be the first to go. they do make good nomads though so long as they do not depend on motorways too early into the apocalypse.

8 (strength): they start out strong then end up giving up. they can be prone to getting hurt too so it is likely they will succumb to infection - perhaps consider shaping up your first aid and herbal knowledge base.

9 (the hermit): the hermit himself was a man of the wilderness - he disappeared on his own and survived on his own. these people are likely to do the same. very little will impend them they just have to be of the mindset they can do it.

10 (wheel of fortune): this is the person who just survives based off of dumb luck sometimes these people have really really bad luck though.

11 (justice): this is a practical individual - who knows how to use their resources. unfortunately, they are rather high maintenance so they might be unhappy in a post-apocalyptic world.

12 (the hanged man): nope 100% wouldn't make it - probably would be the one to want to loot and take from stores then get hurt in the process because they aren't aggressive enough.

13 (death): they bounce back all the time, so i wouldn't be surprised if they just keep coming back from almost dying.

14 (temperance): they would be great at moderation/rationing their supplies, but they can experience exposure to the elements that nearly kills them if not kills them.

15 (the devil): nope, they are too dependent on the modern world and likely couldn't adjust to new horrors of an apocalyptic world.

16 (the tower): i mean they are preppers and i can see them being capable and durable, but they are accident prone and can have a horrible death if not careful.

17 (the star): absolutely not - these people are quick to give up and feel hopeless in a post-apocalyptic world. they are also prone to being overly exposed to the elements.

18 (the moon): i feel like they could survive but the question is whether or not they could bear being alone with themselves... being alone makes you face all the shadows of the self. i don't feel that they would do well in a group dynamic as they would clash with the different personalities.

19 (the sun): oop these people dip so hard. they don't care what it takes to survive they simply will.

20 (judgment): simply yes. they are very capable of remaking a life in a world they no longer recognize.

21 (the world): definitely. this is a bad ass placement - they come out on top every single time. they are often the last man standing in a survival situation.

22 (the fool): they lack awareness and it tends to be their downfall. also they take too many risks and in a survival situation, you can't simply "wing it".

earthquakes in the northeast

pluto in aquarius: a prediction of what's to come

this is a huge astrological event, pluto is moving into aquarius for the first time since the late 1700s. last time pluto was in aquarius america fought for independence from britain, uranus was discovered, the french revolution began, the bill of rights was ratified, etc.

so for day one, i want to create predictions of what is to come!

some house matters!!!

TWO PLUTO RETROGRADES WILL OCCUR - june 11th - jan 20th, 2024 is the first so we won't see too much wildness just yet as pluto will return into capricorn during this time and THE FINAL RETROGRADE BACK INTO CAPRICORN will be september 1st, 2024 - november 19th, 2024. then we are full steam ahead with pluto in aquarius until march 9th, 2043.

i personally am NOT a witch or anything wild, everything i am saying is purely theoretical - it is not fated to happen just because i am saying it. i am simply socially aware. i know what's up generally in the world today and what was up in world in the 1700s - "history typically repeats itself."

i live in the usa so my post likely will be slightly more focused there examples wise so i apologize in advance! feel free to comment, dm, or reblog with other examples from your country based on my prediction key phrases.

i am going to start light and get darker so mentally prepare yourself for that (tw: STI/STD outbreaks, war, 9/11, COVID-19, and other abrasive topics that may make people uncomfortable depending on where they are currently reading from) - but we are talking about pluto so... expect the unexpected?!

aquarius is electricity, light, inventions, electronics, telephones, televisions, etc while pluto can be change! i recently bought a new tv and the back of the remote has a solar panel instead of a battery pack. i do believe we will see more evolution with technology; perhaps we will see solar changed phones! otherwise pluto is also pollution and natural disasters - the climate is in crisis mode perhaps we will see more responsibility and thus changes in our sourcing of energy! example: recently i read that japan has a great source of geothermal energy. currently the conversion to using this source (instead of coal, gas, and nuclear energy) is being held up by a higher up in the hot spring business who claims switching to a new energy system "threatens centuries-old traditions" (bang - a capricorn term - tradition - so perhaps after the retrogrades are through we will see a major shift in energy sourcing).

last time pluto was in aquarius the cotton gin was invented; which aided in quicker production of goods and higher demand for american cotton. i strongly believe this is a general indicator that AI is going to become an even bigger part of day to day life. i have seen AI already replace those who take orders in the panera drive thru, there is a higher demand for philosophy/english grads to help teach AI, etc. aquarius is also new teachers/occupations so AI could become the new teachers OR new careers could be coming in the area of interacting with AI generally so it gains more consciousness. so it could be AI or it could be something else that is only just a dream in the back of someone's mind at this moment in time.

altruistic extremists

we may see utopian dreamers rise up! they are likely to advocate for the deconstruction of pre-existing political institutions in favor of either self governance or egalitarian policies. they will likely do whatever it takes to make this statement; we may see more protests / political statements similar to wynn bruce's.

fanatical/extremist announcers radio/tv

we already have biased stations and channels (fox, abc, cnn, nbc, etc). we are likely to see a further rise in politically biased newscasters and announcers.

demonization of astrology

astrology is aquarian in nature but pluto is fanatics, evil, demonics, etc. the community has been saying about the next world war for a while now. we are moving out of conservative pluto in capricorn, so we may find that those of deep belief systems accusing us [astrologers] of conspiring with the devil if/when something militant arises (similar to how the tarot community gets told constantly by christians that they must be satanists).

something with birds

i don't have this nailed down yet specifically, but both aquarius and pluto are rulers of birds. aquarius is large birds while pluto is wading/swamp birds and/or flesh eating birds. no one freak out and start thinking that i am indicating something like the 1963 horror film the birds. if anything i can see more bird-spread illness and/or parasites. OR pluto can be archaeology! there may be a bird related discovery or something to do with the distant relative of the bird - aka the raptor (dinosaur related).

a new STI/STD discovery/outbreak

aquarius represents the distribution of bodily fluids while pluto is often representative of sexual activity. this could either be an outbreak because pluto can be death, extremes, catastrophes, and/or casualties OR pluto can be ph balance in the body (possible new discoveries for feminine sexual health), kidneys (perhaps a discovery will be linked to the diminished functionality associated with syphilis, hiv, etc and how to combat more symptomatic issues), and even purification (aka a cure perhaps to help viral carriers to no longer pass the sti/std to sexual partners).

collapse of congress / house of commons/representatives

i mean it only stands to reason that the bill of rights was created/approved last time pluto was in aquarius that either those rights will disappear (pluto also represents dictators) OR simply the people rise up and demolish the institution as it stands: "...whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government..."

airplane catastrophes

aquarius rules over planes and pluto can represent accomplices, catastrophes, casualties, b0mbs, and t3rr0r!sm. we may experience another event similar to 9/11 OR we may see air strikes in a potential world war 3 scenario.

societal change: crime, war, leadership, and more

world war 3 is on the horizon so say pluto in aquarius (probably in the wake of election year in the US - when the final retrograde into capricorn concludes). but this could also just be governmental restructuring - this could be seen as rebellions (similar to the French Revolution), the rise of organized crime if good become more scarce, religious shifts (pluto is the antichrist, aquarius is freewill (first amendment), and capricorn is the old church (christian schools of thought)), etc.

aquarian terms i can't think of change in but seem important to note / keep in mind: freethinkers, hamburg germany, heart weakness (biden - perhaps the early death of a president in office?), motion picture (already changing as more theaters close), photography, psychology (we are already starting to care more about everyone's mental health), science (general scientific discoveries?), social affairs (there is always something going on - the question is how big will this be?), society, sweden, syria, and xray.

plutonian terms i can't think of change in but seem important to note / keep in mind: abductions (aliens - ufo sights?), aliases, alibis (governmental riffing similar to how no plan was in place when for COVID-19), assass!nat!0n (hopefully not), betrayal, bootlegging (bootleg tiktok if america bans it?), cemeteries (removal of that method if too many are dying at any giving time - mass graves?), convicts (prison release due to overcrowding? the mega-prison of el salvador?), corruption (governmental likely?), demolitions, earthquakes (more environmental issues?), electrocution, executions (war?), fanatic, extremes, floods (environmental? emigration - society is aquarius after all?), liars, massacres (the rise of crime?), murder, nihilism (the rise of philosophy at the time of war?), ransom (war?), satire (rise of political satire?), stolen goods, and taxes (trump-esque no?).

chiron, the wounded healer (asteroid 2060)

Chiron is the son of the titan Cronus and the oceanid Philyra. He was written as the only centaur that was humane (the others were viewed as savages - they drank too much and were very lustful). He also appeared more humanoid than his brethren (who were actually not created by Cronus and Philyra but by Ixion and Nephele) - his front legs were human while his back legs were hoofed like a horse’s (contrary to these images - i guess everyone avoids the abnormal (we are counting you, dali lol) in ancient art *eye roll*). He was an excellent teacher and healer. Chiron lived happily with his partner, Chariklo, and his four children. He taught many famous heroes: Asclepius (mentioned in my Apollo post as his son), Ajax, Achilles, Theseus, Jason, Perseus, etc. But it was Hercules that did him in… Chiron’s injury is the result of an event that takes place in another centaur’s story (Pholus). Chiron, who was living amongst the centaurs, went to see what the commotion was only to be hit by one of those poisonous arrows by mistake. Chiron went unnoticed in the chaos of that cave - while he did not die due to his immortality, he was in pain too so do much of anything. Hercules who discovered Chiron on his way out and asked for his help (*eye roll* he’s in pain, hercules, leave that poor centaur alone). Chiron generously gave up his immortality to end the pain but also in aid of freeing Prometheus. Chiron then was brought to Mount Olympus to be with the gods. Chiron is considered a burden or a source of suffering we are forced to endure our whole lives. But IN MY OPINION, in addition to that interpretation, it can also mean a) where you are considered the expert, b) where you may be viewed as humane/caring when you are the one in need of being cared for, and/or c) where you tend to be viewed as unique.

i encourage you to look into the aspects of chiron along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of chiron AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede chiron!

aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty (asteroid 1388)

“when talking about such a popular god or goddess i am going to for warn paraphrasing - of course all these stories have more details and all these popular gods have stories within stories. i would love to share them all/in detail but i would need a book and a lot more time to write it. my attempt in writing these posts are to inform you on the high level story of the god’s or goddess’s life. that being said if any one of the events regaled in the post pique you interest - please let me know i don’t mind giving a more in-depth tale of any of the events mentioned.”

aphrodite, everyone!

Aphros is the word for “sea-foam” which is how Aphrodite came to be. Uranus’ genitals fell into the sea after being castrated by Cronus and became the foam that would become Aphrodite. It was from the sea that Aphrodite emerged fully-grown, nude, and beautiful - the moment she emerged, people flocked to the goddess enamored by her beauty. When she arrived at the gates of Olympus and havoc rained down. The only ones who were disinterested and immune to her beauty were Hestia, Athena, and Artemis - likely due to their virginal statuses. Each god wanted her; ultimately Zeus married her off (that’s not very kind of you, sir) to Hephaestus, who is considered the disfigured god of Olympus. But, of course, marriage isn’t something that stopped Aphrodite from doing as she wished: she had affairs with many of the gods (excluding Zeus and Hades) and many mortals. Aphrodite and Ares is a popularly known coupling - Helios saw them and told Hephaestus which caused the creation of the bronze net. He caught the two together and had other gods laugh at them for their adultery - Poseidon paid for their freedom. But little did Hephaestus know that Poseidon had a motive in freeing the couple. The second that Poseidon saw Aphrodite naked with Ares, he fell in love (i mean… okay then) - they have at least one known child together. After this affair, it was back to Ares with whom Aphrodite had eight children with. Of course, there are other godly children - Priapus and Hermaphrodites, most notable - that came from other godly affairs. Mortal wise there was Adonis (find that story in my first post, if you are interested), Anchises (she pretended to be a princess to sleep with him - he gets struck down by Zeus because he later became obsessed with her), etc. Aphrodite is also a jealous individual seen in Eos and Ares’ story as well as Psyche and Eros’ story. IN MY OPINION Aphrodite in a chart can represent a) where you are adored most in your life, b) how your beauty is seen by others (usually aspect based*), c) where in your life there is a lot of drama, and/or d) how jealous you get and why you do.

*my aphrodite is at a cancer degree my face is pretty round, but it squares my pluto and chiron - my face isn’t disfigured or whatever it is people tend to say about chiron-aphrodite aspects, rather i appear as someone people can approach to tell everything too (tend to know all the gossip or be the therapist friend because everyone sees me as this). people tend to find me pretty after talking with me for awhile. the pluto aspect is probably more so to do with people viewing me regal or possibly my under eye bruises lol - i always look like a dying/ill victorian chick. i also have this asteroid opposite my asc and square my mc so i tend to get over looked when it is a beauty contest because i’m ✨unconventionally pretty✨! that’s the meaning for this part of the post today - if your aphrodite asteroid is “poorly” aspected it does not mean you are ugly! lol i hate when people say things like that!

it is time to hit a rest button - it is not too late for you to begin again. take inventory of life right now. what needs to go in your life? when you identify these things, habits, and people, realize that now is the time to declutter. keeping these things, habits, and people in your life is just holding you back and sabotaging you from living your best life.

now is the time to be more empathetic, compassionate and emotionally intelligent - start with yourself first and foremost. life is hard and at the end of the day it is just you against the world, so be kind and protect yourself. create boundaries to protect yourself from others who are trying to disturb your peace.

lead others and be a voice of authority and stability in the tough times ahead. try your best to remain calm and hold your ground. rely on your instincts to be mature and confident around others that might try to knock you down. now might be the time for you to take a trip so that you can cool off and get away from situations that might be negatively effecting you.

celebrate everything you can. reflect on where you are in life and what you have achieved - celebrate it. the more you show enthusiasm, the more you will find yourself feeling pleased in life. you have to balance all that hard work someway, so do so in a way that brings you joy (shop, go out, take a trip, etc).

this the spring is an end of something and the start of something entirely new. let it end - allow yourself to see everything that has happened as a lesson (nothing is without purpose). peace is coming so just practice some gratitude in the meantime, and you will find yourself in a better spot. start making space for new things.

you are fighting for your happiness, but i feel like more and more challenges and obstacles are bound to arise. be assertive and strategic instead of defensive. show courage in the face of adversity. listen to your intuition during this time - the storm isn't over yet. focus only on what you can control and do so with grace.

now is the time to be a bit more confident in yourself - you need to trust that you are capable of anything. have faith in the universe that it will protect you as you begin to live life more authentically and in the way you wish to. don't hesitate, don't worry about looking weak, and be comfortable with being vulnerable.

self-reflecting is a good thing but i get the sense that you might a bit too hard on yourself. release yourself from these harsh judgments - you aren't perfect, no one is so accept things that you view as faults/wrongdoings and move on. it does you no good to be too self-critical. look at spring as if this a new beginning - nothing from your past needs to be connected too you. begin again with a new outlook on life.

take breaks when you need them. you are hard on yourself so please take any chances you can to calm your mind and try out some introspection in regards to the pervious paragraph. are you creating your own stress and anxiety? meditation and sleep might be the cure - so rest, self-reflect, breathe, and calm yourself.

i'm going to work off of what i already have posted (no asteroids discussed after this post will be included or added after the fact). finally, i would like to state that NO TWO CHARTS ARE THE SAME. what i am about to list out does not mean you will for sure need these exact things (or all of these things) to be shy, nervous, and/or anxious around one another. if you don't understand my thought process, feel free to dm me with questions!

libra (7°, 19°) or aquarius (11°, 23°) venus/mars and/or 7h libra (7°, 19°) or aquarius (11°, 23°)

these two can be partners in crime and great colleagues; very little gets in the way of them accomplishing a task. they have a sort of dance they do when working together - they don't need to communicate to get the work done.

7h venus

this is great if you guys work together long term - it is like having a co-ownership at a business or partnership at the same firm. venus person loves 7h person and 7h person looks at venus person as if they are their true equal.

11h libra (7°, 19°) or aquarius (11°, 23°)

this is just very easy alliance and partnership. these two cooperate well with one another.

11h venus

these are allies - it is a ride-or-die connection that these two have it is very rare that either person will turn against each other. venus person will treat 11h person as their only friend, while 11h person will be extremely loyal and wishes to help the venus person to be the best version of themselves possible.

11h neptune

this is one of those unlikely alliances that just end up working well together. neptune person sees 11h person's vision and wants to help them come true, while 11h person sees the beauty in idealist and optimistic neptune person.

these two will attempt to fool the world around them. donor/thora person is often talked into something silly/foolish by loke person. loke person is the mastermind of the project, while donor/thora person is the muscle power to make it happen.

together these two can create something amazing. prometheus person creates the bare bones of their project, while athene/pallas person breaths life into it and gives it character.

vergilius person will protect dante person at all costs. vergilius person is a sort of guide, confidant, and sage for dante person. dante person looks up to and greatly appreciates vergilius person. together they can traverse even the most difficult terrains.
