Hey everyone! it’s been a minute huh?

I hope this reaches out to my friends and followers, because honestly I feel that I owe an explanation and apology for my out-of-the-blue inactiveness on this app.

It’s become a pattern that I stop posting or interact with others for very long periods of time, and for that I’d like to say I’m very sorry. Especially to those I consider friends/mutuals. I say this ‘cause I admit that I’m a bit more active on other social media websites and such recently. (Toyhouse, Artfight, TikTok, etc.) (Yeah I have a TT account now, I’m so sorry /hj 😭)

It’s a lot of reasons why I went on this weird hiatus with little interaction with people; School life, stuff happening outside on the internet in my personal life, and my general mindset during those months, and I stayed in a corner in other spaces to mediate. I just wasn’t in the mindset to post art on Tumblr like I did before and interact with others. It sounds confusing but trust me, I am confused at me as much as the next person (and/or upset/disappointed/anything depending on the person)

I won’t go into much detail of specific events, but they’re things that honestly I could’ve handled while still being present for others and I’m sorry I didn’t think of doing that.

Writing this feels necessary to me because I just feel really bad for leaving without notice over and over again. It may not seem like a big deal to others but it’s a very big deal to me! I’m sorry for being active literally everywhere else and not here where I have long-time moots and friends and even people who just like my art! If I ever go on a long and weird hiatus like that again, I’ll make sure to at least let that be known before hand.

Late Christmas post; I just finished it and I'm so happy with how it turned out!

Also, I dunno if anyone who follows me reads this or anyone in general, but I'm really sorry that there's huge time gaps between my posts and that I'm not very consistent. I truly wanna change that about myself and be more available online but I just continuously let stuff happening 'cause of my choices IRL get in the way of that, and I'm really sorry for that <:(

Hopefully after this post and now that the past weeks leading up to Christmas have passed, I can motivate myself to improve on my consistency. Sorry for the sappy message but I just feel like it's something I should do every time after being gone for days.

Thanksgiving's already passed but I just wanted to say I'm honestly thankful for Tumblr's existence and the fact I decided to make an account! I feel like it functions at the perfect pace for me and artists in general...I'm just glad to have started posting art here, meeting such cool people and not having to fear being judged for my cringe interests or the way I draw or anything!
