i realized that i never opened asks what

“Ooooh, okay, alright, that makes sense!” She said, surprisingly buying it just like that. “So then you must not be a cosplayer, huh? Since you don’t wear an outfit like mine?” She then replied. She must have thought that it’s the only kind of outfits cosplayers wear. Wait.

“What... even is cosplay?” She asked. Maybe it would’ve been best to ask that question first. She was just asking about it as if she thought she knew about it.

Of course she had to say that. “What d’you mean by cosplay” had Miku mentally kick herself. She said this to a couple of people who actually looked like they were cosplaying. Then she learns they just look like that and everything goes downhill.

“Ooh, what do I mean by that? Uh… it’s your outfit! Yep that’s it. Only cosplayers wear those suits when out. So I mistook you for one.” Will she buy this story? Maybe. Miku was truthful during the last part but, not the first. No human has leaf hair and a wooden face. She should really stop saying those things to people.

“Oh, really? Well, it’s okay then. I’m more dressed-up like this when I’m out anyway.” She said, happily.

“Oh, thanks! My leaves are, like, pretty neat, but your blue hair is totes neat too!” She soon said, with a smile. Though she didn’t understand what she meant by cosplay... “Gotta ask though, what d’you mean by cosplay?” Does this mean she’s ...not cosplaying?

“I’ve been caught! I’ll confess, I’ve been staring at you for a little bit. But not for any bad reasons! I just haven’t seen anyone dressed up like that in a while.” Cosplayers aren’t uncommon at Akihabara. But not a lot of people wear skin tight suits to go shopping there.

“It’s a good cosplay though. I really love your leaf hair. It looks so real.” Perhaps a little too real.
