i use ibispaint, and i usually only use one brush for everything!

veeeery rarely i will use the airbrush if im too lazy to manually blend ^_^" its very slightly edited so ill put it here too i guess

i do in fact. Im... horrible at sharing just general headcanons bc im really bad at picking which ones to share and what characters to focus on. BUT i put some old ish ones that i could find under the cut. The vast majority are about hivemind so.. sorry if you dont gaf about him. if you want more you'lllllll probably have to specify a character and/or topic bc of the above reason. but feel free to ask about any character really i have Extensive thoughts about all of them.

its never too late... i will. try. to explain this coherently but no promises.

okok so. i put a lot of emphasis on like. the whole mask thing. in canon its not really used that well imo. its not really used at all beyond like. idk. aesthetics. When i think it has potential for alot more. canon juniper is a bit boring to me for this reason. so mine is alot different.

the masks in my interpretation/au of her are really more of a symbol of her identity issues. um. so obviously with being like... an actor and such she kinda has to put on a face of being, yk, perfect. but even beyond that i think even not in public, subconsciously she kinda guards herself. and then even to HERSELF, since yk its the 60s shes not gonna just admit to herself that shes actually transfem

so its a thing of like. her true self is masked with denial which is masked with anger which is masked with composure. does this make sense im not good at explaining things

ANYWAYS. design fun facts if any1 wanted to know about that. her face when wearing a mask is supposed to resemble an actual mask (eg it has the crecent shape for her eyes and mouth that masks do) also a lot of her "blemishes" (freckles/loose hairs/etc) in the unmasked design dissappear when she puts the mask on, which is kinda supposed to symbolize her whole... deal. And her suit is based on a suit david bowie wore. bc i leik it 👇

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what

usually music. sometiems i watch a movie or a youtube video but i always either forget to watch the movie and miss 90% of it or i get too into the movie and forget to draw. So its usually just music. In which case i usually make a playlist for the character/whatever im drawing and listen to that. Don't ask how many playlists i have 💔💔💔

14. Any favorite motifs

Im basic but animal motifs... esp when theyre subverted like Yessss the rabbit coded guy is actually evil and manipulative and the wolf coded guy is actually chill yeeeeessss... also hospitals/sickness in general idk why but it speaks to me. OH and when a characters face is obscured/etc as a reference to their identity issues. Bc i can point and go 🫵meeeeee

20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy

Different body types.. ive never understood ppl who complain abt "having" to draw fat ppl or watever. I think its fun. Honestly goes for diverse characters in general. but also i like drawings hands

i dont rlly see much of a difference between the two... though i guess i default to facing left more often so that i guess. forward is nice too bc you can use mirror tool but i dont like it when they look at me

id say i only really post like 25% of the stuff i draw. Most of the stuff i dont post is scraps or is just too embarrassing ... and oc stuff i dont post oc stuff alot despite drawing my ocs alot. um. theres also a lot of misc fandom stuff that i just dont have enough of/isnt finished enough to justify posting... im also just kinda lazy and forget to post a lot and by the time i remember its old and isnt up to my current standards

10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw

basically any type of pants that flare out at the bottom... also cardigans... button ups are always fun as well. i default to turtlenecks when character designing but thats moreso me being lazy. .. tank tops are another one but thats more me being a lesbian bc i only really like drawing them on girls
