Heroes never got a day off, but every so often the city was quiet enough to give the hard working people of the hero industry some much needed downtime. This was especially so for anyone working for the top dogs, and Cheri was one of those people fortunate enough to work for the second most renowned hero in Japan. Working for Endeavor was bittersweet. While it did bring in a very comfortable income, time off was almost like an urban legend everyone joked about around the firm. But today was the day.

The office was slow, most employees had already gone home for the day. Cheri knocked on the large office door before inviting herself in. “Hey, everyone already went home a while ago. Do you still need me for anything?” Endeavor stood a few feet before her, busy as ever in his work.

The girl walked over to his desk, waving her hand at him to try and get his attention again. “Boss, I’m heading out. You really should too, you know. It’s such a beautiful day today it’s a miracle we might actually get to enjoy it.” She smiled and pulled her phone out to look at the time.

“The mall is having a bunch of sales today, summer’s almost over and swimsuits are really cheap. I’ve been so busy all summer I haven’t been able to enjoy the beach at all. I wanted to head over there before everything closes.” She began to walk out the door, placing her hand on the frame and looking over her shoulder at the large man. She bit her lip for a moment in contemplation. “You know, you’re welcome to meet up with me. I think the sunshine and fresh air would do you some good. You have my number, just… don’t let yourself rot away in here all day, okay Boss?” With that she shut the door behind her and made her way home to change out of her uniform so she could go get that swimsuit shopping done.

The sudden comment made the girl blush a deep red. “Wh-what? Really?!”

She laced her fingers together and swayed her shoulders adjacent to her hips, “Gosh, stop it! I don’t know what I did lately to deserve all this good attention!” She brought her still laced hands to her cheek. “Maybe I’ll be able to catch myself a man afterall!”

The girl blushed deeply at the man’s reaction. She could feel her breath staggering and her body trembling in star-struck excitement. “Oh my god, holy cow.” She tried to calm herself but could NOT stop smiling.

“There wouldn’t be heroes like me if there weren’t heroes like you, sir! I hope we get to work together some day!” It seemed like for just a few moments, she totally forgot about Endeavor.

“Could we maybe... take a selfie together?!”

The girl jumped back a few steps and clutched her chest. “A-All Might?! Noticing… ME!?” She began to fidget nervously. “Aw gosh this is a super honor!”

[[ Hello new followers!! This is my first time ever making an rp blog so I’m very new to all this! I’m looking forward to rping with all of you! I’m still kind of shy so starters are super appreciated ]]

The girl bounced up. “Boss! You’re here!” Working for her favorite hero never got old, and regardless of how frustrated he made her, every time he entered the room she’d immediately light up. 

“Your coffee’s on your desk and I finished a thorough report on everything happening in the city today! Let me know if you need anything!”

The girl’s face lit up. “Thank you!” She practically bounced in place. “You wouldn’t believe how many fashion-blind MEN there are working for the boss! It’s nice to hear a compliment every once and a while”

She huffed. “Normally all I hear is ‘why are you SO pink!?’” She wagged a finger “Uhhh maybe because it���s the BEST color.”

She winced softly at the question. “Define.... well?” she gave a small nervous laugh. “Sometimes he remembers my name if that’s what you mean.”

“You guys... really want to hear about me?! To be honest with you I don’t think anyone’s EVER asked me.

I’m basically a nobody, at least, it feels that way sometimes. There’s so many sidekicks at Endeavor’s firm it’s really hard to stand out when your quirk is just defense.”

“I could get hit by a freight train and stand back up and people will still think anyone that can do the simplest flashy move is way cooler. Oh, my quirk? My insides are really strong. Bones, muscles, organs. I can take a beating for a heck of a while without suffering any internal damage. I think it’s pretty cool but let me tell you, not having kind offensive abilities really made getting my hero license difficult.”

“My dream is to open a school for people with quirks like mine! Quirks that aren’t FOR blowing things up and making a big show! Quirks that are quiet, but helpful. That can’t be tested on if all we do is keep throwing giant robots at those poor kids. We need more heroes like that! And all those kids definitely deserve a FAIR chance! It’s like that quote uhm.... “You can’t test a fish’s ability to climb a tree?” Something like that!”
