Finally finished S1 of Fallout on Prime and I loved it. I've been a huge fan of all the games (even the bad ones like BOS) and I love what they've done with this series. Mild spoilers ahead so stop reading if you haven't seen it and intend to see it soon.

I love the fact that it's very heavily based on the lore in the original 2 Fallout games and the tease for season 2 also being one based around another game that Bethesda didn't lead the way on. The characters were all great and fleshed out. Even side characters got chances to shine and it was easy to understand who they are, well written. The world building had moments it was a little lacking but it was mostly spot on. Only disappointed we never got any Supermutants or Deathclaws. But that's what S2 is for.

Just looked on my Facebook memories and saw today is 7 since we lost this man. So let me tell you a story about Gill. I met Gill thanks to my then step-father starting theatre group. Gipl was a regular in the pub that the group was based in. He was friends with my step-dad and decided to join in on the theatre stuff even though he wasn't much for it. He loved music however. The man could sing and play guitar. He would love to sit in this pub and play or talk music until the early hours. I had many conversations with him and could listen to him talk about his life and his musical knowledge for hours. He also supported the local music scenes and came to every single show my band at the time put on in that area. This picture was taken at a Halloween show and it's probably the best picture we ever got together. Still miss you, man. Hope you're resting well. He always loved my band's cover of this song so this one's for you.
